Staff friendly and helpful especially Natalie at Reception. Nice vibe downstairs during the wine reception. Location close to Macys.
No tea/coffee in rooms. Can hear people talking in adjacent rooms.
The location is good
The rooms were way too hot. The bathroom was minuscule although room size was really good especially by NYC standards. There was an extremely ungracious, unhelpful and unwelcoming member of staff on arrival at reception, which destroyed any positive first impressions. I hope she wasn’t a reflection of the rest of the team but consequently we chose not to spend any time or additional money in the hotel as she soured our experience of the hotel. We will not return, despite frequent trips to NYC.
Excellent location, stylish hotel, friendly and accommodating staff. Our second stay and we’ll be back for a third.
Comfortable lobby areas to sit and chat with friends. Drinks hour on mezzanine very convivial.
Needs better storage in bedrooms, and corners of bedframes unfriendly to shins — but these are minor quibbles. Would recommend very strongly.
Location was good. Staff was friendly and gym was also good. They also had a free happy hour with red or white wine in the evening. Coffee was available in the morning in the lobby - that was very good.
On two of the three nights it was exceedingly warm in the room. We called the front desk and were told that the system only supported either heat or AC and that it had been switched to heat for the season. We requested a fan for the room to circulate the air. The staff said that they would look into it, but we never heard back, nor did we have a fan delivered to the room.
