Cons:
I rented the car at 1pm on Saturday and returned it at 10pm the following day. Because they close at 1pm on Sunday they charged me for Monday even though I dropped the car off on Sunday, dropping the keys off in the drop box. I don't know if that is the policy of Avis or if the employee was confused but that is not reasonable.Budget

Booked a car rental the app showed there was a few cars available after booking my reservation and paying i find out upon arrival at the location the car was supposed to be at there was never no cars available i only drove 27 miles one way to pick up a car that was never there really not happy8.4 Very good

My negative experience is when my contracted drop off point in the southland Chicago area was moved to another location a few miles away and when i got to that location found out that they were not ready to open for business due to city code violations. had to drop car at another nearest location took over 40 mins drive away. luckily i had a car to follow me, had i gone with original plan to have shuttle from work pick me up at original drop off location i would have been in trouble. Not happy with having to waste hour and half drive to drop at location out of my way. I incurred extra labor cost from work having employees follow me to the nearest open location.Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Pros:
The SUV was really nice to drive especially with the distance we were going. Very comfortable. They gave my husband an upgrade at no charge because it was his birthday.Cons:
It would have been nice to be able to drop the car off at a closer location. They wanted to charge me to drop it closer to home, so I had to drop it off where I originally rented it from. Also, it would be nice to have all the cars equipped with a GPS at no charge. People can use their phone, but it would be nice to have it in the car..Hertz

They could have updated their system to not having any vehicles available! I secured a vehicle and then 2 hours later someone from hertz called me stating there were no vehicles in stock. And they looked around the area and nothing was available. Very frustrating and inconvenient. If I didnt answer the call while at work. I would have been driven to hertz and been left without a car.10.0 Wonderful

I was given a dirty car that smelled like smoke with low gas. I was told that I need to purchase hertz insurance or I couldn't rent the vehicle. After I told the rental agent that I had my on full coverage car insurance. She threatened to cancel my reservation.
