Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful, drop off was easy with helpful staff.

Cons:

I had to stand in line for 3.5 hours at Orlando to pick up the car, more staff would have been helpful.

Cons:

Dollar rental severely overbooks their inventory. As I was getting on my plane to head to Orlando, with my car reservation paid for already, I received a call from Dollar saying they would not have enough inventory for all the reservations but could put me on the wait list and that I would be 4th in line. I agreed to that but upon arrival at the Orlando airport, the line to just get to the Dollar rental counter was winding all through the lower level of the airport, at which point I was told it would be a 3-hour wait. I was left feeling pretty stranded and without an easy way to take care of my reservation and no other car rental places at the airport had cars onsite or else their lines were also too long to wait in. I cannot recommend any car rental place that overbooks its rentals in such an outrageous way.

Mini van was convoy and good price

Cons:

When I rented it off line, it said it was from the Orlando airport. It was 30 minutes from the airport. We told them we needed to return it to the airport and they charged us an additional $100. Not cool!!

Pros:

Booked flight to MCO airport, than booked car rental, but kayak web sight just showed cheapest in area. I was not aware that it showed sights other then MCO. Booked sight by other airport. Went to MCO car rental, waited in line for over an hour & was informed I’m in wrong car rental. Got charged almost $200 plus another $93 from original booking. $300 car rental for 1.5 days is ridiculous

Scammed by insurance add ons which I refused, proving I already had same coverage. A $217 4-day rental fee, prepaid thru priceline quickly rose to $580 which I challenged only to be told "your car is no longer available, we rented it to someone else". They did offer me a ride back to Sanford Orlando where they'd picked me up 30 mins late, one hour earlier. I believe Nextcar routinely scams customers. All the time you're completing paperwork they have a TV blaring info on how FL laws mandated ins requirements. Never had that from ethical auto rental agencies.

Awful!!! We waited over 2 hours to pick up our rental car. The line was so long everyone was pissed off. It was inexcusable. I will never use them again!!!

Do not use this company. Total joke. I am so sorry I did. Gave me a car with a half tank of gas butpu have to return t with all tank. Waited 1 hour for my pickup. Car smelled like weed. Others around me were waiting for cars as well, told they were out and sourcing them from other places. Even though we all had reservations. I regret going here. Save yourself the headache and aggravation and money.

The staff at the Atlanta Airport were professional and helpful

Cons:

The car was filthy with french fries and other debris in the back of the car. The car should have been taken out of service because it was time for the oil to be changed

Pros:

The pick up was easy and so was the drop off. The car was exactly what we wanted and it was hassle free

The car cleanliness inside could have been better, I found cookies crumbs and stickiness on parts of the handles, there was still wrappers as well.

Thrifty charged us on top of what kayak (priceline) charged us and more then we authorized. Plus they charged us for gas even though we filled up the car.
