Pros:the car was clean, along with the facilities where we picked up and dropped off
Cons:i was quoted roughly 50.00 to rent the car, when we got to the facility, the woman gave us an entirely different price, said she had to completely change our reservation because of kayak and they ay it was booked and that there was no way she would let us leave the lot without buying the insurance, because we would be liable for the 27,000 dollar car.since she said she wouldn't let us leave the lot without paying the insurance we ultimately had to and pay a lot that we didn't expect to pay. we are very disappointed since i love booking through kayak but i guess i can't do it internationally. we lost out on a lot of money we could have used.
Pros:Did not disclose mandatory insurance that had to be purchased making the final rate $775 Euro. Much higher that what was quoted.

Cons:I arrived at Dublin airport to pick up a car a few days before Christmas. I was informed that while I had rented the car, it didnt come with insurance and that I would have to take out insurance. They said that they could arrange it for me. To cut a long story short, they wanted an extra 650 euros on top of the rental fee. Needless to say I left the car in the lot. I went online and found an alternative offer with an alternative company within 15 minuteds that was 400 less than they were asking and that at very short notice. How they can rent out cars withou insurance is beyond me. I wont be going back again.
Pros:Easy pick-up, great rate. Clean, comfortable vehicle. Staff generally friendly. Convenient shuttle to and from off-airport rental center.
Cons:Difficult to find gas for fill-up near the return location. A bit of a wait to return and have deposit refunded. Some pressure to add insurance during pick-up.
Cons:Off airport location and very slow process. The cars for all companies are off airport at the same location. Only two agents working the desk.
Cons:Car had not been checked since last driver, was down a quarter tank of fuel, long lines while workers stood around. Won't use them again.

Cons:No on-site gas station (or nearby gas stations) to fill up the rental car before drop-off.

Cons:When I got to the airport the rental company said there was $36 of insurance daily for the car, making this change from a super cheap rental to a super expensive rental. This rental option only works if you have a credit card which provides insurance. None of this appeared in the conditions I saw on kayak. I will never use this service again
Payless cancelled / deleted my reservation without notice. I attempted to contact Payless through website, and they said there wasn’t a reservation. Good thing a companion had made another reservation
Cons:I used my credit card’s insurance guarantee, but nowhere in the reservation did it say that to do do ALSO required a letter from my credit card company stating (1) that they cover the Republic of Ireland, (2) they will cover the lace loss if totaled, and (3) the last 4 numbers of my cc account. So at the Europcar desk I had to make that phone call, wade through a few phone trees, then talk to a couple of humans. I did get the letter (great service by my cc bank!) but I was lucky - that approval process may take up to 24 hours. The Europcar desk agent said this happens “quite a bit” with the brokers because you don’t provide the information about what each rental car company requires to use the cc insurance waiver benefits. I suggest adding a link to your process that will take your to the specific rental car company page for their CDW. I did use the link provided for my rental but it did not say I would have to get the letter etc.
