Pros: Car was okay as far as value and checkout was smooth
Cons: Ripped off on gas, not a full tank when we departed, car stunk from cigarette smoke, USB charger was broken, had to hold USB connection to get it to stay connected, not usable while driving. Drop off in RDU was painful - 40 mins waiting, 10 minutes with car waiting for rude attendant to check mileage and contract and 30 minutes in line with 2 other people to check in, while 2 AVIS employees carried on a personal conversation. I guess the cheapest car is not necessarily the best deal.

Cost higher than I expected
Pros: Customer service when reserving the car.
Cons: Added on costs that made the total cost quite a bit more than the quoted daily rate.

Great experience except for pick up
Pros: Overall I had a great experience except for pick up. The lady was extremely rude and wanted to charge me an additional $120 which was not include in the initial agreement. When I asked her she claimed it as an airport fee. I called customer service and they spoke with the lady at the desk asking her to remove the additional charge. The lady then claimed that sometimes the additional charge is added and sometimes it is not. She claims to have no control over it. She was also rude to the customer service representative. After getting the original deal (clearly a mistake she made) she never apologized and maintained an attitude.
