Cons:At th me curb, the PDX airport employee told me that Payless’ shuttle shows up “about every 30 minutes”, and this was at 2pm. I tried to call Payless, multiple times, and found it impossible to talk to any person at all. I just wanted to let them know I was waiting. So I simply walked away from the reservation. Renting from Payless was a bad idea.

Cons:Quite a ways away from the airport so know that. We rented our car for 2 weeks. A month and a half later we received a letter in the mail from Payless that there was "excessive sand" in the car. (We went to the beach. Yes, sand from our shoes was on the floorboards.) They said they were charging us $250 for cleaning the sand. $250!!!!!!!! You can detail a car which takes hours and pay a little over $100. I am fighting this

Cons:The total I paid was about 10 dollars more than what was shown on my reservation. They told me it was extra airport tax. I wish it was shown when I made the reservation so that I could compare the various offers correctly.
