We stayed in the palafitos and it was very, very nice. The overwater bungalows were worth the hype. But the stay was so much better because the staff were attentive and really went over the top with great service.

Pros (+) Horrible hotel, horrible staff, very unfriendly, quality of food was terrible for the price you pay. I mean a standard room is 600 above and it’s so not worth it

Cons (-) Quality of food. Staff, room doors are tin and rooms are very noisy so don’t expect to have a quite room where you can get sleep.

Pros (+) Our room view was great. The spa hidrotherapy was great. Included parks were great. I’m hesitant to give a lower rating because everyone was so nice and our last trip before this one was magical. Very little plastic use.

Cons (-) Restaurants and bars were large in number but hit or miss in quality - xingao which requires a reservation was a total let down. Las playas wasn’t very good and ants will eat you alive. The drinks were watered down or just a bunch of sugar except for the lobby bar or dan’s bar in fuego. The water temperature for the shower was scalding hot or freezing, which was annoying. The toilet flushes so har...

Pros (+) The staff were always making sure you had the best experience when dining and any of the many restaurants. When they said all included, they meant it. Free transportation to all the activities and tours. Just amazing
