Great hotel on the beach. Extremely friendly staff without being too in your face. Good restaurants. Nice pool. Quite pricey but at least they deliver.

Cons (-) Lots and lots of hidden fees. Booked a superior partial ocean view room$540, when i checked in, the view was literally of stairs. Upgraded for a partial ocean view room. Extra $185. On checkout total with fees and taxes and the mandatory parking fees that wasnt disclosed (even though i self parked due to covid) $1050. Needless to say we are never staying there again.

Pros (+) Location, modern decor, gym open 24/7, Nespresso machine in room, knowledgeable concierge
Cons (-) Dress code for dinner at penthouse restaurant. Would have liked to enjoy the view but not up to getting dressed up after long day of sightseeing / biking along beach. No self park, valet only

Pros (+) Facilities are beautiful, staff is super friendly. Lots of character - way better than the other nearby chain hotels. Pool terrace has a great view of the beach - Palm Terrace rooms are great since you get a patio!
Cons (-) Pool is quite small.

Pros (+) - There was one really fantastic bellhop - Near enough to my personal gym (Equinox) - Near enough to shopping, etc
Cons (-) - None of the rooms have an actual full ocean view - Rude/weird reception staff - The second room I was moved to disgusting i.e. someone else's hair shavings in the shower, what looked like dried vomit on the blinds in the bathroom - Literally heard a family on the elevator say "I'm so ready to get out of this place" - Restaurant is overcrowded with the LA "wannabe" set, not a great scene, actuall...
