The overall location is excellent, with lots to do within the resort and a lot of really good food options.
We were given a room that smelled STRONGLY of cigarette smoke and a non-working air conditioner. Staff were able to repair the AC after a few hours, however we were told no other suites were available and we’d have to stay in the smoke-filled room. Two of us had strong allergic reactions to it and we were only offered a refund on the $12/night resort fee for compensation.
I checked in online. It took longer to get my key than it would have if I just checked in at the counter. There was no help to direct us to our room. You can hear everything through the walls. In room coffee machine didn’t work.
Everything but the check in staff
The check in staff could be better aware of there customers. I waited forever to check in because there were talking and laughing which is fine. But i found it rude when they ignored me and then rushed me in. They seemed very annoyed that they have to work. It is work so atleast act like its a job you enjoy
Room was comfortable and beautifully appointed, except I couldn't find all the light switches.
The place stinks of cigarette smoke and is very poorly signposted. I ended up walking way out of my way to find a restaurant that I could actually eat at at 9:30pm. Walking through the stink of smoke to get anywhere is extremely unpleasant. I won't return.
Great location, restaurants and friendly staff.
Beds & rooms were very nice. Location is great. Parking is free.
Smoking is heavy on the casino floor and this permeates up to all the hallways of the hotel rooms (even on the 20th floor).
room was huge
bathroom sink was leaking constantly
Stil a aolid place
They’re always redoing something. The nature of casinos fight the man and the Indian. I like it. Always have a good rest
This is my second visit to the GS, my first visit was short
I like that there is a spa but it was difficult to get bookings
There were too much smoke in the area of the casino and around the hotel lobby some people were vaping so it was difficult for us
Hidden Charges disappointed
GSR charge me more beside of Room Rate. -House keeping Gratuity -Resort Fee, Daily Resort Fee -Tourism Fee So don’t expect the price that you pay online is the exact amount that you only paying, when you get to the hotel they will ask you for another $50 that’s why they want your ID & Credit card. After you check out they will charge you all of this hidden fees.
Always a Resoanable Place to Stay
The price is right and the staff is always friendly. The convenience of the facilities is good.
The Mexican Restaurant is horrible. The Asian restaurant is so-so. The best eating experience was California Pizza Kitchen.
Getaroom(dot)com goofed and only reserved us for one night eventhough our conformation email said 2 nights. Hotel staff said they've had problems with kayak and getaroom reservations several times before. As for the room the only negative was the fact the refrigerator just made noise but never got cold.
We reserved 2 nights but getaroom/kayak only reserved us for 1 night. Refrigerator in room didn't work and our food was ruined. Resort fee increased. As for the rest of the room the beds were comfortable and the tv was huge.
