Excellent 10.0
Pros: This guest house is in a perfect location. The host family is VERY hospitable and helpful!! The rooms are very modern, welcoming, there is free coffee, tea, cake and smoothies!!! The shared kitchen and living room is very nice. All sights are within easy reach and there is free parking.
Cons: All is perfect
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fresh Smoothie each morning!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great, quaint bed and breakfast with extremely helpful and kind owners. We would definitely stay again!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Staff was wonderful and extremely helpful!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Home from home with great facilities and location.
Cons: Nothing !
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I liked a lot of things at this establishment; the warm hospitality of this family-operated establishment, the free tea and coffee (Nespresso machine), the interior design of the place, the well-stocked bathroom (l'occitane products and leftover toiletries from other guests), the cleanliness of the place, free parking for our rental car, free smoothies, well-stocked kitchen with modern appliances, and the location.
Cons: This isn't a reflection of the guesthouse staff at all but I would have to say that the eggs I brought and left in the shared refrigerator in the kitchen were taken even though it was on the shelf for my room. My only suggestion to the staff is perhaps make bigger signs for the room numbers and also a bigger sign on the fridge door to warn other guests not to take items from other room assigned shelves.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Really good location easy to found due to famous rekjavik church near. Cosy and friendly. Kitchen and dinning room appreciated, host really kind and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast provided by external near neighbour did not offer enough choices.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great location with a perfect view to the church. The staff is super friendly and love to help. Free rental bikes are available. Breakfast at the corner cafe and the daily smoothies are simply fantastic. Free parking spots are easy to find around the house.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A great comfortable place, with very warm and beautifully designed rooms. Great location, very nice kitchen, and we liked the small details and the extras such as the freshly prepared smoothies, a wide varaity of tea and a nespresso coffee machine etc. We loved staying there and would love to come back!
Cons: A bit expensive, but those are the prices in Iceland...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Ingo and his parents were amazing hosts, super friendly and helped us research or book various trips. Ingo is a former Cordon Bleu culniary school graduate and makes great healthy smoothies for all guests. We felt like we were staying in our own apartment. The free use of the Specialized bikes were a extra bonus. We put 19 miles on the bikes. We didn't want to leave and had it not been for Hurricane Dorian hitting our home in Florida we would have stayed longer.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Comfortable and clean - easy walk into town. No problem with parking. Owners are delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was very nice next door, plus delicious smoothies at the guesthouse.
Cons: .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: You can't beat the location. Newly renovation building, lots of street parking, shared kitchen and bathroom. Lot's of towels, toiletries very clean and modern. Kitchen is packed with an array of teas and coffees including a healthy smoothie made fresh daily. Great service and they offer a guide with places to go and things to do in the city. Which is short walk from the hotel. Breakfast is complimentary just next door beautiful cafe with seating an wifi you can actually get some work done.
Cons: I didn't like the fact I didn't choose to stay there my entire visit to Iceland, such a great central location.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Light and comfortable room in a beautiful building, good facilities and a great location in the centre of the city.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hospitality. Brilliant breakfast. The days we went out early we were given a fantastic breakfast to take with us. Edda bakes the most fantastic bread which was fresh every day. Delicious porridge as well. We loved it. Huge selection for breakfast.
Cons: There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was above and beyond.. staff so friendly, accommodations charming.. like staying with family.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location and really nice staff. The people there even made me a lunch box to go since my flight was very early in the morning and I'd miss breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would highly recommend! Great location and fantastic guesthouse.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Edda was very helpful. We had encountered a problem with our tours and she helped us deal with them. The place was very homey and the breakfast was good. They made take away bags for us on days we had to take early tours. Location was very good as well Rooms and toilets were very clean. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to iceland.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The breakfast was good. Traditional Icelandic free breakfast. Nice warm bread.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Central location and convenient to all streets and sights
Cons: Self closing room doors close very hard. Some inconsiderate guests let the doors close behind them without controlling them and it makes a lot of noise.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Hosts very friendly and hospitable. Decent breakfast included.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: City center literaly across the street, nearby free parking, great home-made bread for breakfest, owners are great people as well :)
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The bread!!! The location
Cons: Breakfast was from 8-9 only, but many of the excursions we booked left at 8 so we couldn’t have breakfast. It would have been nice to have breakfast be 7-9, or at least 730-9.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Easy check-in and check-out. Didn't have time to stay for breakfast but they gave us a packed breakfast to take with us the night before.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great location, easy access to buses
Cons: No elevator was a bit inconvenient
Good 7.1
Pros: Hotel was ok however our room was very hot and couldn’t turn down heating. Breakfast was very basic. Nothing special. Location was great.
Cons: Very basic breakfast. Room too hot.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The room was nice and big. I liked the separate foyer and bathroom. The location was very good. Good proximity to the Lutheran church and the start of the shopping strip. The parking lot was very convenient and much appreciated.
Cons: No elevators to the third floor. Had to carry all the luggage up the stairs.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really liked the breakfast. The location was great close to restaurants and shops.
Cons: The shower was odd, the curtain kept moving while showering which made it a bit of challenge. A door would be better.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Receptionist are extremely friendly.
Cons: For the price I’m expecting my private bathroom.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The room was nice and bright with a little balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The beds were very comfortable. Outside the room there was a little kitchen with a fridge, a stove and a microwave and an eating table with 4 chairs around. Breakfast was included and OK. Only 10 min. walk from STI (with your suitcases!), and even less to the main street.
Cons: There is no elevator, mind that if you arrive from a week shopping in N.Y. ;)
Good 7.9
Pros: Location is great, close to all main attractions. Staff was friendly, breakfast was ok. More a hotel, than a guest house. There are kitchens available for use.
Cons: Nothing really bad, just overpriced, even for Iceland: it is just a basic room with a shared bathroom. I had nicer places for lower prices around Iceland
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very clean room, nice beds. Staff was really nice and helpful. The building is pretty big, but it was quiet nonetheless. The breakfast was really good and well served. Location is perfect! Hallgrímskirkja, Café Loki and the mains streets are a less than a minute away.
Cons: Parking is a bit tricky (there is a private parking but it's fairly small and it was always full). It doesn't feel like a guesthouse though, it's more like a good hotel, which is fine, but if you're into more intimate places where you can meet travellers and share a meal, look somewhere else.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The location is very practical, being no more than 10 minutes walk from the harbour area or the Harpa concert hall or the BSI bus station which is end point for airport shuttles and starting point for all Reykjavik Excursions tours, and it's opposite the Hallgrimskirkja and just round the corner from the main shopping streets with all their shops, bars and restaurants. The guest house itself is modern and well designed, with a fully-equipped kitchen also available to guests on each floor, shared by each small cluster of 3 rooms so guests can easily fully cater for themselves if they so choose. Breakfast is healthy and comprehensive (no hot food) with home made cinnamon bread! We found the staff helpful with comprehensive tourist information which they can support with advice and bookings if needed. Also for early leavers there is even an all-night "early breakfast" available.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Central location, exceptionally clean and spacious. Our room had balcony & overlooked Hallgrimskirkja. Modern. Cooking facilities if required, clean loos & shower. Really friendly & helpful staff
Cons: Only 1 toilet per 4 rooms, could have been problematic if rooms had been fully booked.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect vintage house
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Didn't have a chance to eat breakfast before we had to head to the airport. The coffee was delicious though! Nothing to dislike - the property and location were great!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic house over 100 years old! We stayed in the Library. Beds were so comfy and everything was spotless. Loved the cat and dog who came to say hello every time we came back into the house. The location of the house was superb. 5 mins walk from BSI bus terminal and 5 to 10 mins into the main part of town for the eateries. The staff at the guesthouse could not do enough for you. Highly recommend.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice, quiet residential street. Short walk to shopping area & tourist sights. Having a kitchen (with coffee pot, kettle, dishes, utensils, cooking pots, etc.) in our room was great, since eating out was so expensive. There were 9 of us in three apartments. All of our rooms had different lay-outs, and one of them had a large living room where we could all gather comfortably (Apt. 2) Very friendly, helpful innkeepers, also!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Jelly belly is an exceptional greeter and host. His fine white coat and sausage like tail are real crowd pleasers
Cons: The room was a little tight but that is a common North American complaint
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The property is very pretty and centrally located--just a few minute walk to a beautiful park where we watched the Northern Lights as well as the city center with tons of restaurants. Our room was bigger than we anticipated, with a full sized bath which was a pleasant surprise after spending a week in the countryside. There were plenty of extra pillows and bedding, which was also not the case at many of the other places we stayed at on our trip. Our host was very sweet, greeted me immediately, and walked me to my room. Check in was a total snap. There was a small kitchenette which was perfect for making a small meal and a nice big comfortable couch in the sitting area. The building is older, with all the quirks and charm that goes along with that.
Cons: We had to circle the block a few times to find parking, but it wasn't too bad. I'm sure it would have been a snap if you were familiar with the area. We did find close parking, it just took a few trips around. The front room had a bit of street noise and the planes from the local airport were surprisingly close and loud. This wasn't as bad in the bedroom area, and of course, you expect a bit of street noise in the city.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the bed was really comfortable and the location of the hotel was excellent! Had to park on the street though.
Cons: The bathroom was a little old but everything worked. the kitchen table was a little small
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We had a huge room, 2 bathrooms, 2 tvs (not that we needed them), a big living room and really comfortable beds.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great location. Clean. Really fast Wi-Fi. Smart TV which gets connected to your mobile through Wi-Fi. Helpful staff.
Cons: Room size should have been bigger.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: No fuss, just go and enjoy. Loved being able to cook a bit since eating out is crazy expensive.
Cons: Parking spots are difficult sometimes. The water smelled of sulfur.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, warmth, coziness and your wonderful dog. I just would’ve like seeing him this morning so I could’ve given him a belly rub
Cons: Nothing or maybe a lesson in using the shower to avoid flooding the bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: In low price and in the middle of downtown! 5 minutes to the church! Staff is friendly and helpful!

Pros: great location to walk to town
Cons: pillows as hard as rocks
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners of guesthouse are really nice, very helpful and do their best to accommodate the guests. Room was tiny but comfortable, had everything needed. Bathroom was also good enough, spacious and well equipped. Location of the guesthouse is great as well, easy to walk to places in central Reykjavik. Breakfast was also very good, with many options to choose from. Great value for money and would stay at this place again!
Cons: Everything was great!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly owner and a great breakfast
Cons: Shared bathroom meant waiting for a shower but other than that was great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The two owners were very friendly and helpful, offering to help figure out transportation, recommending things to do, answering general questions, and just generally providing nice conversation. The rooms and dining area were kept clean. The shared bathrooms were also kept up well. The location was great, being conveniently next to the bus terminal, near supermarkets, only a short walk to the center, near a nice park, and just a couple minutes walk from seemingly everything there was to do in Reykjavik. Those interested in having their own bathroom or in need of handicap accessibility might need to look elsewhere. I would recommend to a friend and I would be happy to return.
Cons: I personally found everything to be great but those in need of handicap accessibility would have to look elsewhere.
Good 7.5
Pros: Breakfast was similar to other guesthouses, with the exception of offering cheese, which was a treat. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Cons: We were on the 4th floor and that was not indicated when we booked the room. Since we're both 71, it was a bit of a struggle getting big bags up and down 5 flights.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: It is wery good hótel thanks Brynja
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was not my first stay there but probably the seventh or the eighth time, and it wasn't my last either! This guesthouse is a little gem, the owners are friendly (they're French), the guesthouse is welcoming and the breakfast is good. The area is great (close to the center), in a quiet street. The beds are comfy and the room are spacious enough. Also the price are very fair !
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It was a simple but homey place and the hosts were very nice and helpful. Excellent location for doing things in Reykjavik plus free parking. The bed was comfortable and the rooms spacious.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The guesthouse is located in the centre of the city and close to one of the central bus stations. My room was lovely and the breakfast was very good. The owner is very supportive and a nice person to chat with.

Pros: We arrived late. Great hospitality! Karlotta has made arrangements so that we were looked after. It's a lovely room in their lovely home. Comfortable bed, love the 2 single blankets. She has thoughtfully put a microwave and kettle in the dining area so we could help ourselves to tea.
Cons: Location is in the suburbs. Reykjavik in general is expensive... Be prepared to pay for expensive taxi. We made a mistake by thinking we could easily walk to Go Camper to pick up car, but that was an approx 20 mins taxi away. If you already have rented a car from airport, this isn't an issue.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The home was comfortable and the owners very friendly and helpful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location, well maintained home, extremely friendly and accommodating host. Would 100% stay here again!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Karlotta and Hugo were excellent hosts and both made us feel extremely welcome. They gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also a highlight and helped us keep to our more strict budget. The place itself was very homely and having books in every room was lovely. Karlotta also kindly offered to change our bedding and towels – much appreciated after an evening at the Blue Lagoon!
Cons: The only thing I would say is that the property was quite expensive for the location. It was advertised as being in the city centre of Reykjavik, but it was a 25-minute walk. We didn't mind walking (and we did hire a car for two of the days) but would have been nice to be a little bit closer. Other than that, our stay was fantastic.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts were very nice and made us feel very comfortable.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very quiet very friendly. Needed to leave very early - was left breakfast self serve, made sandwiches which I ate later
Cons: Long walk into town
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Karlotta (the host) is so sweet and welcoming person! She is always ready to help. The breakfast is also a nice option! The house itself and the room are stylish, modern but with it's own history and unique things so you can feel yourself almost at home! Definetely wish to stay longer.
Cons: Not so close to city center, Laugavegur street - 20-25 minute walk. But that's all that may not be suittable for some people. For us it was okay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastically lovely hosts, cosy room, super breakfast

Excellent 8.8
Pros: This was the first of several hotels I stayed at during a week long trip to Iceland - or at least, it was meant to be a week. Due to a big storm, my flight was cancelled and I actually ended up missing the first day of my trip. Although the staff couldn’t refund me the missed night due to it being less than 24 hours notice (Icelandair’s cancelled flight notice only hit my inbox 7 or 8 hours or so before the flight itself. What can you do?) but they were apologetic and very helpful in getting me checked in at an unusual time when the staff wouldn’t be available. The staff I spoke to were friendly and the breakfast was tasty. Also, maybe I was just jet lagged out of my mind, but the bed was the softest, coziest bed I’ve been in in a while. My single room in the top floor was tiny (not for tall people!) and it was hard to lug my suitcase up the stairs, but it has a lovey skylight window that was just the right height for me to open and peek out into the cool air. The bathrooms are clean. The location is fantastic, right down the road from Hallgrimskirkja but outside of Reykjavik’s paid parking zones. I snagged a free spot right across the street.
Cons: The walls are quite thin, and I could hear people talking and laughing into the night - I still have no idea if it was from another hotel room or some people next door, outside, etc. I ended up using earplugs (always have them, just in case!). This is expected in a busy city, but worth noting. I was on the third floor and the bathrooms (one extremely small half bath and a larger full bath) were both on the second floor right off of the kitchen. This made it feel slightly odd to constantly be going to and from one of the more trafficked corridors of the house to shower, brush teeth, etc. that being said, I was there at a quiet time, but if it had been busy it might have been awkward.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Claudia makes you feel at home and offers great advice to visit the city! Good price quality- clean and very close to the city center.
Cons: Thin walls.
Good 6.7

Pros: Great host, super friendly and welcoming! Great service, too. Very nice facilities, quiet. Beautiful aurora borealis from the sky window!
Cons: It was all good, so nothing I didn't like. Top!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location is awesome, just around 100 m away from the church. I think quality/price ratio is the best in town. There are many restaurants/cafes nearby. We stayed here for 3 nights and I would stay again.
Cons: No car park, you have to check around yourself, still we found easily.

Pros: The staff was friendly and very helpful by giving us a room on arrival early in the morning and then moving us to a suite
Cons: The location could be better

Pros: Nice to have a convenient hotel with free parking. Removes the hassle of getting in and around town.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Quiet, good location, availability of parking, breakfast buffet included in stay, very pleasant staff, interesting art work, comfortable beds, great lobby.
Cons: Tiny bathroom, carpeting and some furniture are worn.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Location was easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: They say that they provide a hot breakfast, but I found that this really meant just buffet style eggs and bacon. Everything else was more of a continental breakfast style.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet location, but 10 min walk to everything. Breakfast buffet (hot) included. Absolutely best staff attentive, accommodating, engaging. Houses one of the finer restaurants in the city plus a nice bar downstairs. Tea and coffee and mini bar in the room. Would absolutely stay again.
Cons: Single rooms on the top floor are drafty because of the balcony doors.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Room was clean, nice bathroom, nice and hot for drying out things as it rained all day. Breakfast was great and included. Good location between BSI bus terminal and the main shopping area about a 7 min walk. Staff are very helpful..!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Location great and just a short walk to the main streets with shops and restaurants. Also easy location to drive in and out of the city for day-trips. The carpark was a large bonus and made life with a rental car very easy. The service and friendliness of the staff was very good and helpful.
Cons: Bathrooms were a little small.
Good 7.5

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The studio was self contained, well designed, and generously supplied with tea, coffee and biscuits. The water was hot and the bed comfy. The location is so central! For a single traveller this was ideal!
Cons: The location is central so it was a little noisy, but not disturbingly so. The outward appearance is not very appealing but the studio itself and all the furnishings are better than first appearances suggest!
Good 7.9
Pros: Very nicely located--close to the bus station that takes you to the airport, a nice park, and a short walk to the city center. The room was clean and we appreciated having a mini-fridge. We prepared breakfast ourselves, and there was a nice variety of fruit, bread, skyr, cheese, and meats. The decor was very nice.
Cons: Checking in was a little difficult, because there are two guesthouses in the same building, and somehow the keys in the keybox got switched around to the other guesthouse and we were stuck outside for a bit. It would be helpful if there was a staff member onsite. A small, basic tv in the rooms might be nice.
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: the area is nice, free parking available on the streets
Cons: incredibly small apartments- we could only open on of our (small) suitcases at a time filthy bathroom tiny bed for 2 persons looks way nicer on the pictures we didn't even see the host, just took our keys from the keybox and returned them there
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Happy with accommodation and communications from host
Excellent 8.8
Pros: nice location, clean room and facilities. very friendly staff. access to kitchen and dining area great for cooking your own meals + great breakfast supplies.
Cons: not very soundproof building. got woken up by other guests in the same apartment and in the apartment above who were leaving early (4 AM)
Okay 5.4
Pros: Location was good. Very close to city center and church (Hallgrímskirkja).
Cons: First of all check-in instruction was confusing. Eventually we did managed. Our room was located on the first floor in the guest house. House is situated next to a busy street, so the room was very noisy, we were unable to catch any sleep. Breakfast offered is pretty basic and it is more like DIY. There were loaf of bread, eggs, cheese etc in fridge and you need to prepare yourself and clean dishes and pans afterwards. This should have been clearly indicated in property description that what exactly "breakfast included" means.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The room was very small but very clean.
Cons: It has a small kitchen. We booked for a hotel room with breakfast and we had to do everything - prepared our own breakfast and washed the dishes we have used. We also booked for a shared bathroom. The worst is, there was only one bathroom with a toilet inside and it was always occupied. This one bathroom was for 5 double rooms ... there were 11 guests including us when we were there. This Guesthouse is not recommendable
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great location near to the big church and nice, quiet neighbourhood where we found a car park easily. Cute room with private toilet. The host was very friendly and made us a breakfast pack to take with us early to the airport which was really considerate :)
Cons: There seemed to be longer term renters/students living here too and so using the kitchen etc felt a bit intrusive. Also the shared shower had their toothbrushes/towels etc in there and wasn’t as clean as a hotel. The key system to let yourself in was flawed as the guest before us didn’t put it back so we had to wait for a couple of hours before we could get in.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Dabba, the host is very friendly and offered to hold on to our luggage for four days while we were completing the laugagevur trail. Also very handy that the guesthouse is close to the bsi busterminal and close to the city shopping center. All comunication was through mail and we got all the info we need. Next visit to Iceland we go back to stay in Glad's guesthouse for sure. All we needed for breakfast was in the fridge.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very good location in Reykjavík.
Cons: If count on the breakfast You can be surprised that there is not much than cereals - which happened to us.

Cons: The room and the common bathroom were not very clean.
Good 7.9
Pros: The location. We were also very happy that we were able to cook our own meal. The hostess provided a personalised map of the city, which was very helpful and fun. She has also decorated the place with cool art.
Cons: Because we were in the basement I didn't feel comfortable to open a window at night. Also, the bathroom wasn't as clean as we had hoped.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It has a equipped kitchen. Ttbhe house is quite. They give tonthe hosts towels and bedding.
Cons: A little bit far of the coty center, but it’s walking distance.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We were provided with additional information on getting around. The owners went the extra mile on what they could, which was nice.
Cons: The beds were a bit squeaky - but we were so tired, it didn't stop us sleeping! We had to leave early in the morning, so were worried about opening and closing doors and using kitchen as other folk were staying too.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Mrs Lola was very friendly snd helpful. Convenient location: a short walk to city centre and main bus station.

Good 6.3
Pros: Had a very good stay here. There is a fully equiped kitchen, free coffee/tea, wifi.
Cons: Unfortunatly the other guests in the guesthouse made it a mess. The kitchen was used for drying wet clothing by some guests. Clothing okay, but not underwear please!!! Disgusting! Bathroom was also not cleaned after use by the other guests. One night while I was in the bathroom the door was locked. One of the guests forced to open the door with a screwdriver. Crazy!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very cosy and comfortable, nicely decorated and maintained. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Great assistance by the staff on the phone. Central location.
Cons: Outside look of the building seams a little bit old, but the interiors were great and new.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bed is comfortable. Room is clean
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice guest house near the busy old town area. Not noisy. Easy free parking. Clean, large, comfortable room. Bathroom right out our door. 2 showers for whole house but wasn't an issue getting in and using. Another bathroom by the showers and I feel the other floors had a bathroom on their floors. Kitchen was a little small but functional. Nice to have baskets in the refrigerator. Enjoyed our stay.
Good 7.9
Pros: The location is perfect. You are in the City Center and the main street in just a 10min walk. There is also free parking in the street behind the building.
Cons: I didn‘t knew that it is a shared kitchen and bathroom with a lot of other guests which was really annoying because toilet and bathroom was in one room and really small. A lot of people went for a shower in the morning and it was blocked for a long time. So nobody was able to go to toilet durring a long time.
Good 7.1
Pros: Very clean Great position 10 mins from downtown and bus tour stops
Cons: Room very small No toiletries No wardrobe
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean Well equipped kitchen

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location is good, close to bus stop 8. The apartment is clean, bright and has enough space for 4 persons.
Cons: The bathroom is very small. Currently there is construction outside the apartment. But we had no issue as we were out sightseeing the whole day.
Good 7.5
Pros: The tours were excellent, but this review is of the apartment. The ground level apartment is pretty small, the bathroom so small you have to turn sideways to get in and out of shower. Good location though.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: 2 bathrooms 2 toilets !!! in the apartment. Most apartment in Iceland, there is 1 toilet in 1 bathroom. This property has 2 bathrooms 2 toilets .
Cons: -
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Fantastic location, very clean and comfortable appartment with lovely window seats.
Good 6.7
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Washroom
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything was perfect and clean. Walking distance to the city. Recommended!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great location
Cons: Broken kitchen cabinets, could have used more pillows, worn furniture
Good 7.5
Pros: The location in the city was good.
Cons: It was somewhat of a challenge to determine where our room was located. Parking on the street was a challenge.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location. Easy check in process with the lock box for the key.
Cons: Some water pressure issues in the shower could lead to bursts of freezing or boiling hot water... needed to be very careful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was excellent! Close to most everything! We even walked to Perlan. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds comfortable.
Cons: The only thing was getting there. After circling in our car a few times we realized there was construction and the roads leading to the apartment were closed. An email with directions around the construction would have been nice, but no big deal. We found it!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Close to town and the smoky bay
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice place near small airport on outskirts of Reykjavik. Nice restaurant and free tea and coffee room spacious and clean.
Cons: All these extras ie pool you had to pay for. It would be nice if that were just available for guests.
Good 7.5
Pros: Everything
Okay 4.0
Cons: It was discribed as having a pool which was not accurate because you had to pay extra for that tried to stay one night and cancel the other nights were told couldn't do it with out paying full price, won't book through kayak again
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bed was very comfy, good customer service
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Nice spa and pool
Cons: A bit out of town
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Privacy and friendly staff at the reception. Good people standing behind the desk.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Facilities are not for everyone’s free use so that was very disappointing. I believe it used to be years ago. The rooms are a bit tired now. Good comfy bed but had to have window open and unfortunately no one at the desk seems to monitor other guests who are loud outside at smoking area through the night. Staff also let me down when I asked for simple necessities. It took me 3 times asking to get more tissue - Not impressed and will not come back again. You lost long term customer. Oh and this trip the paths were blocked a bit by all kinds of flats being built everywhere. The location is great and great espresso in lobby for free.
Cons: The staff attitude and facilities let me down.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: They have provided a free coffee machine at the reception and they have a small shop where you can buy necessary items
Good 7.9
Pros: Handy walk into city centre. 20/25 minutes.Quiet location.
Cons: All good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We did not make the breakfast as our flight was too early.
Cons: The breakfast bag for early flights could be better and healthier e.g. could have included a fresh fruit pack and a natural skyr yoghurt.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was the best place that we have stayed in Iceland. The appartement was really clean and the view incredible. Unfortunately we stayed only one night. I hope to go again to this amazing place....
