Total garbage. Was allowed to place reservation for car, made plans for my trip based on that reservation and then they said they had no cars. Completely unacceptable

Pros:

The gentleman who helped me when I had to go to the Frisco location in order to get an SUV.

Cons:

The gentleman at the Rockwall location when I dropped off the car was unhelpful and accused me of causing damage to the vehicle that was there when I picked up the vehicle just because I could not locate my pink slip.

Budget did not have a car for us and we were stranded in Seattle. The pick up site permanently closed and we were not notified. We were trying to get home to my daughter who was in the hospital and they did not help or accommodate. We couldn’t find an available rental in the whole city and didn’t have a place to stay. It was the worst travel experience we have ever had. I will not be using Kayak or Budget ever again and will be filing formal complaints.

I didn’t get a car because the wait was so long. In over an hour (I timed it) I had only moved up a spot on line. Walked next door to a different company and was out with a car in less than 10 minutes like usual.

It was 95% self service. Had several problems and unable to reach anybody who could help.. not getting help caused me to miss flight & get a hotel room. They charged me $200/day keeping the rental car that started out at $50/day!!!

Pros:

There was nothing to like. No vehicle available....Had to make other last minute plans.

Cons:

Could have held people to their rental period agreement and pick up the vehicles that were nit returned when they were due.

Cons:

Make sure you return clean! We had furry blankets on our trip which left a little fuzzy, and the jerk tried to tell me it was going to cost 400.00 to clean. And check engine light came on upon returning home. I will never rent fro Rockwall Hertz again and tell my Government coworkers the same.
