Pros: bed was super comfortable, room was spotless, soundproofing excellent. Nice to have extra bit of room with couch area.
Cons: no back entrance from the back side of the parking lot - had to walk around to the front which seems silly.
Pros: Large rooms with a sitting room. Very clean and fresh. Seemed recently remodeled. Indoor pool. Good complimentary breakfast.

I visit Providence three time a year, How have I never stayed here before?
Cons: Bathroom was a bit dark, but not a deal breaker.
Pros: I loved the quick check-in process, the hospitality of the staff, and the cleanliness of the room.
Cons: The beds are the old coil spring type, and my back gave me some trouble the next morning.

Pros: It is in a beautifully restored house with handsomely decorated rooms
Cons: The hotel is next to a very busy Interstate.
Pros: Great Staff, facility, bedroom & dining!I'd like to come when the weather isn't so frigid to enjoy abit more in the area.
Cons: Ouch....cold bathroom floor! (if they renovate, install a warm-tiles heat underlay mat).Possibly getting the 'handouts' they give when checking in, via my eMail before I arrive - so I've got a little insight before arrival? Still, a joy to attend!
Pros: Cleanliness, staff was wonderful (helpful, courteous, friendly) off-street parking, proximity to all attractions
Cons: I couldn't stay longer
I would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Location very convenient, lots of character (much better than a plastic hotel), delicious hot breakfast, and very friendly staff.
Cons: Water pressure in the bathroom was pretty poor.
highly recommend. will stay there again if overnighting in Providence.
Pros: the upgraded large king room excellent breakfast in a beautiful dining room friendliness of all staff encountered cozy public reading room 'staffed' with homemade brownies
Cons: may not have cared for a 'basement' room which is where we were originally booked, presumably because of the lower Priceline price? If Priceline gets the best price at the hotel, I want to know if it is for the room with least ambience.
Pros: Thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. Splendid.

Pros: The location of the hotel was great with lots of bars, restaurants and event locals close by.
Cons: Hotel was a bit below its normal price point in my opinion. Our suite was very nice but the shower sucked. I'm glad that we got a promotional/discount rate.
Pros: We loved everything. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and ideally located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough. I will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Everything was ideal.
Pros: We booked this hotel because we were in town for one night, visiting the Waterfire festival. The location was great, close walking distance to the festival, downtown shopping, and restaurants.
Cons: The hotel staff/policies were incredibly unhelpful. We were informed when we checked in that if we had called and asked for the military/ government rate we would of paid less than 50% of what we were charged. Of course, there was nothing they could do about it now. What they didn't tell us at check in was that the deluxe king room we had reserved and paid twice what we should of for, was unavailable. They happily checked us in and sent us up to what I can only assume is the worst room in this 4 star hotel. The glass shelf in the bathroom was broken, there was a large stain on the carpet, the door was so crooked on the hinges there were cracks you could easily see through at the top and bottom. But worst of all, it was a QUEEN sized bed, not KING. Shouldn't be the end of the world, but paying double what we were supposed to and then not even getting what we payed for- not really okay. Assuming they gave us the wrong room unintentionally, we gathered our things and went back to check in, where we were told that A: they can't change our room because the hotel is completely booked. B: it was in the fine print of "whatever website" we booked on that the room wasn't guaranteed. C: there was no offer of a rate reduction or other forms of compensation. Well, after reading all the terms and conditions of the website, and finding nothing mentioning the room not being guaranteed, we called the website, who did everything in their power to help, but we ended up cancelling the hotel reservation (through the website, not the hotel) for a full refund. No complaints about the website, they even went so far as to call all the other 4 star hotels in the area trying to get us a transfer. The hotel on the other hand, is a buisness I hope never to meet again.
Pros: This is a very attractive hotel. The people are very nice. The rooms are attractive with comfortable beds. There is a bar downstairs with excellent music and no cover. The food at breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The booking never got through to the front desk, but they honored the price on my confirmation email.
Pros: Quiet street in noisy city
Cons: Stability ball in gym was deflated, so minor.
Pros: Clean well appointed room. Nice bathroom. K cup coffee and tea. Great location. Good staff and valley.
Cons: Some minor street noise on the alley side
Pros: The staff were great, not only attentive but cheerful and genuinely friendly, enjoyed chatting with us. Only a few blocks to walks along the river. Nice big room, really soft bed. We stopped here on the way home from Maine to Brooklyn, NY, and probably will again next year.
Cons: The coffee.
Pros: Excellent location.
Helpful, friendly staff.
We had a wonderful time.
Pros: The bed and the pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: The staff was very unorganized and were very easy to get confused. The valet parking was a joke.
Pros: It was a beautiful hotel with pleasant, helpful staff.
The room was elegant and had everything we needed.
It was centrally located. Near both great restaurants and the Providence Performing Arts Center where we caught a show.
Cons: The front desk staff was a little slow when checking out. Other than that . . .it was all great.
Pros: very clean, nice and efficient! Thanks!
Pros: Charming boutique hotel.
First-rate front desk staff—friendly and helpful.
Ideal location on a quiet side street but close to downtown's shops and restaurants.
Easy walk to Brown and RISD campuses

Pros: The reception staff was accommodating and, refreshingly, genuine interested in being of service and help to all guests.
Cons: The hot tub didn't work :-(
Pros: I liked how close the Hotel was to many fun bars and exciting things to see.
Cons: I didn't like the staff, the hair that was all over my room and not having any food available 24hr.
Pros: We loved the location and consistency in Omni hotels. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very nice restaurants and close to mall with high end stores which I loved. Comfy beds and my 2 kids under 2 loved it as well.
Cons: Only occasional chair in room needed to be changed or cleaned as stains on cream shows up unfortunately.
Pros: Beds were extremely comfortable
Cons: Breakfast in room was too expensive
Pros: stayed two nights at the hotel for my 21st and Valentine's Day. the hotel is right in downtown providence. easy to walk to places. also enjoyed that the hotel was connected to the providence place mall. my boyfriend and I stayed in a premier room so we had beautiful views of downtown.
Cons: We paid extra to get a corner room which we thought would have been bigger than it was. The room next to us had a young child who spent the night screaming from 4am-noon, so we didn't get much sleep the first night. Wifi was expensive as well as parking. Also from our room you could hear the elevator every time it came up and down past our floor which was annoying at times. we purchased a movie one night to watch and the movie skipped. the front desk did not charge us for it, but you would think for paying $18 for a movie that the quality would have been better
Pros: Great location. Easy walking to many attractions.
Pros: The hotel is right next to downtown and connected to the mall and convention center.
Cons: The Internet was too expensive and parking was a bit pricey as well.
Pros: This hotel is in the heart of downtown Providence and it's connected to the Providence Place Mall as well as the Dunkin Donuts Convention Center.
Cons: Self parking is $18 per day and valet parking is $28 per day. Valet has come and go priveleges whereas self parking does not. WiFi is also pricey if you would like a decent connection. It came in at $15 per day.
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well appointed. Pool area was fun and we enjoyed the hot tub.
Cons: I felt a little nickel and dimed: the parking was expensive and there weren't other options in the area. It added a lot of cost to what seemed to be, initially, a great deal.
Pros: Actually booked the room from my iPhone while driving up 95, a half hour before arrival. Great deal through Kayak. Although it was very late, the staff were pleasant and polite. The room was perfect for my high school senior son and myself.
Pros: It's clean and was a large room.
Cons: We checked in at 11 pm after a long drive excited to get to bed. We were kept up for hours when what sounded like a trash compactor was on all night. It was SO LOUD and we live in a city so we are used to noise. I just can't believe they put us in that room and that they charge people money to stay in a room that is next to some sort of loud machine.

Pros: Walking distance to airport terminal, but they do have shuttle. Room was clean and fresh looking.
Cons: Lobby area seems kind of dated.
Pros: Clean comfortable room. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: WiFi was a bit spotty. We were at the far end of the hall and the signal was a little weak.
Pros: Great friendly staff. Many new renovations. Breakfast had good variety and all was fresh.
Cons: We didn't know the pool was closed for renovations til we got there (upsetting to 3 11 year old girls) but we were offered shuttle service to a neighboring hotel for use of their pool.
Pros: Staff terrific, rooms (on 3rd floor) newly renovated and spacious. Large comfy king-size bed, as well as couch, fridge, microwave, etc. Room clean. Mattress, pillows and bedding so comfortable. Were in town to visit family. Convenient location. Excellent price. Good breakfast options. Hot coffee and tea 24 hours. Highly recommend
Cons: Upon walking in, lobby floor unfinished. Undergoing renovation. Understandably, rugs in elevators littered with construction debris (i.e., small sheetrock pieces and dust). Otherwise, excellent.
Our central Rhode Island location places you in the middle of the
Cons: For the Crowne Plaza and the price ($300+ for the New Year's Eve platinum package), hors d'oeuvres should have consisted of caviar, salmon and meats rather than cheese, crackers and grapes. Salad was disappointing. Main course buffet was just average. No dessert other than mini pastries with coffee and tea. The band, Steve Smith & the Nakeds were their usual horrible selves, not entertaining and nearly impossible to dance to.

Pros: The hotel was a close walk to the mall and the park as well as a nice stroll to other local restaurants. We got a nice view of the city and the halls were quiet for sleeping in.
Cons: It cost $26 a day to park in their parking lot. And my sister in law got a fold out couch for her to sleep on and the mattress had red-ish makeup all over it and it was very uncomfortable.

Cons: No bathtub
Pros: nice staff, complimentary wi-fi and breakfast, cookies and lemonade in the afternoon
Cons: no - it was great!
Pros: complementary breakfast; staff was helpful; large shower
Cons: would like a frig and microwave in my room
Pros: The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: First I had to pay $28 to valet park!It was $20 to park in a nearby lot(even at only 7:30pm)too creepy parking there and walk back. Why was valet more? The attendant laughed Room was freezing -60degrees, tv unplugged and no shower curtain. Never again!
Pros: Beautiful hotel! Location fit our needs. Extremely clean hotel and room.
Cons: We didn't realize we would be charged an additional $28 for parking. Guest should be asked if they want to be in a incentive program and informed about the parking cost. Guest should be told there's a breakfast and what time breakfast is available.
Pros: The location and the room were great.
Cons: Pulled up to the hotel and there was a lot of confusion, no one asked to help with our bags so we took a cart and did it ourselves. There appeared to be several attends but they were preoccupied.
Pros: It is very close to school we visited.
Pros: Helpful staff.
Cons: Only one elevator for at least twelve floors.
Pros: Very Helpful and Friendly staff
Pros: Breakfast was decent. They had cold and hot cereal, breads and pastries, waffles, and eggs and a protein that seemed to vary daily.
Cons: The room was downright frigid. The thermostat said 68 deg F, but it couldn't have been more than 60. Cold air was blowing through the vent and there was no way to adjust it. Furthermore, very noisy late into the night because of neighboring club.
Pros: It was VERY secure. The elevator could only be worked by guests and only to their assigned floor.
Cons: Parking was not convenient.
Pros: The room was comfortable and the staff was courteous and helpful.
Cons: The breakfast was worse than average. Also, when we arrived it was too cold to go back out to eat so the desk staffer gave me a handful of restaurant menus. The restaurant we chose took more than an hour to deliver! After they said it would be 30 minutes.

Pros: The staff was friendly. The rooms are smaller which is fine.
Lack of coffee maker
Small ironing board
Pros: Everything about the Dean felt like it had been planned out very meticulously. The lighting, amazing linens, and custom soaps and shower gels were all perfect. We kept discovering great "little" gems throught our whole stay!
Pros: The hotel delivered as expected. Rooms were up to date.
Cons: The shower was a bit tricky to use. Cost of parking $26 was a bit high
Pros: On a college tour with my 17 year old daughter and she fell in love with Providence mainly because of the experience we had at and around the Dean. Great service; everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms and public spaces were eclectic but comfortable. Highly recommend it.
Pros: Enjoyed the bars downstairs at the hotel.
Cons: The staff was pretty pretentious.
Cons: Bed squeeked.
Pros: The coffee shop has excellent expresso, delicious!
The elevator is an old fashioned "lift".
Young people running the reception have wonderful, polite personalities!
WiFi works well.
Rooms have wood floors, nice decor, very clean !
I do like the hotel, and sincerely enjoyed my stay. I actually extended it two additional days!
Cons: You wouldn't bring young children, I say, because of the lift.
Pros: Hotel was beautiful, rooms very clean and staff very helpful
The Dean Hotel offers a great location, putting you within a 15-minute walk of Kennedy Plaza and Rhode Island State Capitol Building. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out the restaurant, and the 2 bars/lounges are nice spots to grab a drink at the end of the day. Nice touches like premium bedding and designer toiletries are offered up in all rooms, along with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: The hotel was really spread out with long narrow hallways. This might be a problem for some guests.
Cons: No free parking
Pros: Very large hotel & rooms. Nice selection for breakfast.
Cons: 'Wood' flooring was very slick & dirty feeling.
Pros: The free breakfast each morning was awesome!! The staff kept it full and never let the food run out.. The hotel and our room was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.
Cons: No elevator
Pros: Close to major artery intersection. Close to fast food, fast gas and downtown Providence.
Pros: Breakfast is pretty darn good! Beds are super comfy, staff is very nice, and I always stay here when I visit Rhode Island.
Cons: The only thing wrong with the Seekonk Clarion is the carpet in the hallways. And who cares?
Cons: there were a couple problems, the toilet was very noisey, and the fee for a pet was prohibitive and not clearly noted on the site. But the staff was very helpful about both issues, so no problems really.
Pros: Great pool area. Close to providence, Bristol and other locations.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds
Pros: The room was wonderfully clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: No-the gym was perfect and the hotel is located near restaurants and easy access to the highways.
Pros: the staff
Cons: room was old, tv did not work properly, breakfast was not good.
Pros: The staff is amazing. We arrived early as a group and they went out of their way to accommodate our group to get us all connecting rooms. Everything was great. I would definitely stay there again. Great location to stay for events in providence ri.
Cons: Everything was great.

Cons: Empty vending machines
Loose fixtures in bathroom
Pros: Nice place. Great location. Really small rooms. Do NOT get any of the rooms with a room number that ends in 29!!
Pros: Nice stay as usual
Cons: Housekeeping interrupting us 3 times in the morning claiming they weren't notified by the desk about our late checkout for 1pm therefore interrupting our extra needed rest
Pros: Suite with 2 kings and living area good decor and comfort
Pros: Central Providence. Five to ten minute walk to area colleges, civic center, numerous restaurants, boutique and mall shopping. All rooms recently and tastefully renovated. Starbucks on site. Excellent staff. Immediately surrounded by historic buildings. Peregrine falcons nest on nearby building (the "superman building").
Cons: Expensive ($28) valet parking. No overnight parking on any of city's streets.
Pros: Room was huge (stayed in junior suite alone), very clean, staff polite and attentive, especially house car/valet folks. Proximity to everything was perfect.
Cons: I wish I could stayed more than one night!
Pros: Loved this hotel. We got a junior suite (for a great price). Had views of Brown/RISD, the Capitol, etc.
Pros: Almost everything about the Biltmore is awesome. It's a beautiful hotel. It's got a ton of charm. The rooms are spectacular. The beds are comfortable. The staff is amazing. The location is central and perfect. It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in including various Four Seasons etc.
I could wax lyrical for hours... but the net-net is that every time I'm in Providence, I'll be staying at the Biltmore.
Cons: The quality of the room service breakfast was lacking. Poor food quality. No jam for the toast or syrup for the pancakes and the coffee was lame.
Pros: The Biltmore Hotel is a reasonable place to consider for a visit to Providence. It is an older hotel with a historic background and there is a certain charm to staying at such a place in comparison to the typical chain. That said, one must make a few accommodations in this regard. Some things may strike one as dated be it the size of the bathroom, or the trim, or the non-self-closing door (which I actually liked). The skim coat in my shower was cracked..so what?. There is no pool. There is a full-service Starbucks adjoining the lobby. I grew up staying at older hotels with my grandmother. I find them charming. The place is clean and the staff are kind. The bed was very comfortable though rather high off the ground compared to most. The furnishings were contemporary and functioned well. I got a two room suite fit for a CEO for under $200 a night. I have no complaints.
The most architecturally significant hotel in the city, with a stunning V-shaped design, the characterful Providence Biltmore is set in the heart of downtown Providence, just steps from lots of retail and dining opportunities, university campuses, galleries, museums and popular Providence attractions. Feel welcome from the moment you arrive, and enjoy authentically warm, personalized service; beautiful accommodations equipped with contemporary amenities, and world-class business and leisure facilities. Recognized for over 90 years as one of the most coveted destinations in the city for social and business gatherings, the Providence Biltmore offers a rooftop Grand Ballroom, the luxurious Garden Room, and 12 other meeting and banquet rooms. The hotel also boasts a spacious outdoor terrace with marvelous views of downtown and the State House. Sample an inspired menu that is printed twice-daily, and features an extensive variety of both locally landed and imported seafood in McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks. Other menu highlights include pasta, poultry, and beef specialties guaranteed to delight any palette. If you would rather dine in your guest room, room service is available.
Pros: Fluffy towels, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, new carpeting
Cons: Price way over priced for an airport hotel
Pros: We booked a room for 2 for one night. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. Plenty of pillows and the AC worked well. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Almost everything was perfect, I wish the windows opened more than a few inches but I am aware why many hotels do that and it's definitely not a legitimate complaint. The room was lovely.

Pros: Great staff all were very helpful and professional. Room was clean and nicely set up. Breakfast was fresh and hot a nice plus compared to some other hotels. Would highly recommend this facility.
If you extend your stay, go to the office, make them swipe your card again even if they don't ask. The staff doesn't always know to do this and you can get a phone call in the early morning for them to get the card information. Hotel won't give a printed receipt to customers if you pay through Priceline. This makes it difficult if you need the printed receipt for expense reports. Pool area is nice, especially for families. I didn't use the breakfast/evening social meals due to business but all looked great. The fitness room is too small, some equipment was broken, one tv available and it's only for one treadmill, if you have headphones. I was disappointed with the elliptical. The overall room & design very good. The bathroom and shower very clean. The kitchen had everything you would need if you decided to cook in instead of eating out.
Pros: Love the kitchen and work area. The rooms were designed to avoid tv noise and noise from other rooms.
Cons: pillows on bed are too small. Paul Mitchell toiletries, I do not like the brand at all, the sofa is not cushy on the arms, need throw pillows to soften. Fitness room poor quality.
