9.7 Excellent
Pros: I loved the price and was expecting the price to reflect the place but it didn't. The location was perfect. The room was nice and spacious with very nice furniture sleigh bed. The owner was very friendly and quick to offer help and advice. Me and my wife were there for a wedding late returns and un-bothered late mornings were welcome as you would expect at a bed and breakfast. I got to tour my other family's accommodations which was the same style and luxury as mine but for 3-4 times the price :) would return.
Cons: The bathroom was on the small side, breakfast could have had bit more taste to it these are your two down falls for being perfect.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, room, restaurant
Cons: A little gym would be great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Seamless checkin, with an upgraded room, segued into cocktails on the front porch. A delicious dinner -- again on the porch -- followed in the Inn's pub (which has a selection of dishes available from the Wed-Sat-only flagship dining room). Outstanding all around.

Pros: The room was very big, comfortable beds and clean.

Pros: The breakfast was not up to par. There were very few options available. I had yogurt and fruit.
Cons: The shower handle broke off in the morning. We had to get a key to another room in order to shower and be ready on time for our meetings at Hotchkiss School.
10.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable. Beautiful location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Building shows signs of aging. Lake is a bit of a hike from the hotel.
7.5 Good

A Meadow House - Lakeville - Building
9.2 Excellent (12 reviews)
7.5 Good
Pros: It was cute and quaint. That part of the country is really beautiful.
Cons: Had to share a bathroom with other guests. Parking was limited. It's a self serve place, i.e. there is no host. One has to just follow instructions from little posits all over the place. It is also very small, the other guest while very nice, and we had a pleasant conversation with them, were totally unavoidable. Finally, take the pumpkins off the stairs! I just about killed myself trying to get down the narrow steep steps, avoiding the pictures hanging on the wall to my left and the pumpkins on the steps to my right.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for our jaunt.
5.5 Okay
Cons: It was super weird. Nothing bad and the house was sweet but it looked like someone lived there and just left prior to our arrival. Their clothes and mementos were EVERYWHERE. It could be charming but it just felt weird.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Did not partake breakfast, but was available.
Cons: Television did not work for me, but read a good book instead.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Unusually quaint and quite comfortable small facility chock full of antiques located right across the road from a world famous sports car racing facility, Lime Rock,CT. The owner is quite personable and savvy of the Sports Car Racing World and its participants who stay there regularly. Full size shared bath was pleasant, "home-like" as well, that one would expect with plenty of hot water and fluffy towels.
Cons: There might be a little more instruction about the operation of direct TV.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything. We love Terry. Our biggest problem is how effusively positive to be because we dread finding there is no availability next time we want to stay.
Cons: We wish we had had more time to spend there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy, friendly location, great host. Looking forward to our Labor Day stay!

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Srarting with the door lock, horrible lighting, crumby furniture the lisy goes on. Was parking cost built into the room cost ? Breakfast was appalling, we had to go somewhere else.. THERE WAS ALMOST NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER.

6.8 Good
Pros: They let us check in early.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was a charming hotel which was very well maintained. We particularly liked the room size which was large enough to have chairs for TV watching. The location on the main road in Lakeville is good.
Cons: There was some delay at checkin. The continental breakfast in the morning was a few minutes late in opening. The breakfast offerings were conventional and would be have benefited from more interesting baked goods.
7.5 Good
Pros: location and clean
Cons: two remotes for tv confusing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location in lakeville was excellent
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I like the fact that the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Also the proximity of the in to our home in Millerton made it a convenient stay over.
Cons: A minor detail was the fact that there was no remote unit to control the air conditioning and so when it got cold at night we had to manually stretch our legs arms up to manage the air conditioner.
