The staff was amazing at accommodating our requests. I got the exact room I had hoped for. Convenient mini fridge, microwave, and disposable plates, silverware and paper towels were stocked in the room. There was a TV and a wall mounted radio, although it would have been better if the radio had a USB connection so we could play clearer music through our phones. Never got a chance to use the spa tub feature, but it looked like it would have been nice. We were literally right next door to CVS Pharmacy for any last minute necessities. I was also excited that Whole Foods was a 5 minute walk away at most. We had an easy walk to the SAP Arena where we watched the concert with the convenience of leaving our vehicle in the parking lot provided by the hotel. That saved about $25 in itself, and saved us from the concert traffic afterward. We were pleasantly surprised by the hot, cooked breakfast they provided from 6:30 to 9:30 am. Bacon, eggs, fruits, pancakes and french toast, plus other items we were too full to try. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are seeing a show at the SAP Arena.
Update wall radio to allow USB hook up to smart phones. My fiance states the bed was comfortable, but to me it was just okay. You could hear people running around and cleaning going on during certain hours, but it didn't disturb my sleep. Overall, I had a very positive experience at this hotel.
Great hotel, big tubs, free breakfast, close to light rail, very close to Whole Foods, and close to downtown.

the breakfast was good and the staff very helpful
We liked that we had a fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast was ok, sounded better (and bigger) than it was. The location was good.
Everything looked a bit shabby.
Excellent front desk staff
Short walk to San Jose Pavillion. Our room was upgraded to a suite without asking. Free Breakfast and Dinner
Although the room was upgraded to a suite, we had four people and now one Queen bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not very comfortable and only had one thin blanket. The hotel was out of extra blankets
Loved the jacuzzi tub! Very relaxing. Hotel was quiet and although we didn't have time to partake of the complimentary breakfast offered, the lobby smelled absolutely wonderful with the aromas of eggs and bacon.
We are non-smokers and did not like the stale smoke smell in the hallways. It seemed like we had to walk through that area to get to the non-smoking rooms.
Our room was clean and confortable
The front desk person was too rushed and unpersonal
It was pretty good. Very close to HP Pavilion and convenient
