It was reasonably priced. Beds felt worn. Location close to freeway.
Friendly staff, very good breakfast, reasonable rates.
Great place!!!! Highly recommend it!!!
Very Comfortable with the conviences of home. Sitting table/work station, reading/sitting couch with divider to sleeping area, lighting was good, bathroom has very nice vanity/mirrored area with eye make up remover cloth & toiletries, refrigerator that is empty clean & available to use( not packed with a bunch of expensive items to rip u off.) Microwave & coffee, pool ,guiet. Most of all the breakfast was the best of all the places we stayed. I will look for clarion suites to stay at from now on on my trips. Thank you Just for feedback - We have a( gluten free member in our family that has stomach issues. Can't have a lot of foods due to seasonings, wheat, flour, etc, etc limited on type of food can eat. Types of acceptable foods boiled eggs, bananas, corn tortias, cheerios, ketchup without high frutoses to put on potatoes. : ) thank you a nice stay.
The morning breakfast was simply the best we've ever had almost anywhere that we've stayed. The staff that prepared the breakfast did an amazing job and the variety and quality of the food and the service was just outstanding. They're to be congratulated! Best Breakfast in St. George and many, many other places that we've stayed. Thanks!!
It was quite. Having a maid that doesn't speak English. So when returning to the room, clean towels and coffee were both sitting on the desk top. Nothing was cleaned, dirty towels on the floor and beds not made. Had to go down to the front desk to let them know.
We forgot two hats and they were nice and held them for us till we came back two days later. The room was dirty there was sand and skittles in a corner and a wet used washcloth in the bathroom, a coffee stain in the side table i was disappointed.
Clean, comfortable, newer, easy to find. Highway noise. Should be fine if you aren't on the end next to the highway.
Location was good Bathroom was dirty with hair from previous guests on the fixtures.
The breakfast was phenomenal! The room was great!
The breakfast was great. Other comments have said that the pool is cold, but we didn't find it so (in the end of Feb). The hotel is close to everything and once we were there, we never spent more than 15 min in the car. The only issue we had was noisy guests and the corridor wall soundproofing didn't seem great.
The staff were extremely helpful! We had our high school band pull in late and hangry from CA for a competition. The staff were more than willing to help us make their stay great! Very kind and went out of their way to help us. Check in fast and easy.
Nice rooms, clean. No it was hood
clean close to everything pool is too small
The hotel was easy to find, right off the freeway, and close to the sites we wanted to visit. It was well cared for and showed that the staff takes pride in what they do. Our room was right across from the indoor pool, which was noisy at times with many children enjoying their visit. No problems at night, but a little too noisy for my tastes during the day when we were resting from the heat outside.
Come close to shopping and food No
Most importantly, the desk clerk. I wish I could tell you her name. She was professional, nice and accommodating as possible. Also the Pool, Hot Tub, location, cleanliness and breakfast.
Quit and close to shopping No
Comfort Inns are just that 'comfortable beds and cleanliness'. Their breakfasts are ok in the morning and appreciated. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I liked staying here, as I did the other ones we stayed at. A good value for the money. No.
None Front desk was unhelpful. According to the hotel they did not have our reservation. We were left to find an alternate accomodation without help
The hotel was easy access off the freeway, but far enough to avoid the road noise. Clean and friendly. Room was right across from the pool so there was noise during the day when we were in the room trying to rest. They would have moved us if we asked, but the hotel was full that day. It did stay quiet at night.

Breakfast was good, and there was a variety. The heated pool and sauna were great. Mattress was so uncomfortable, my teen son preferred the floor after the first night. The housekeeper didn't come by the first day at all...no new towels, no beds made, etc.
Very nice staff and relaxed atmosphere. Would visit again. Good breakfast too!
Good location, good pool. Walls are not sound proofed quite noisy
Breakfast was plentiful, but not that good.
This hotel had the best breakfasts out of every hotel we stayed at in our two week tour of the southwest. By far. We were in a pet room ( we traveled with our dog) and noticed some pet odor in the room.
Location was perfect. No freeway noise but within striking distance to freeway. Food and activities also nearby without much driving. Near grocery stores as well. We did not have the occasion to go to the pool or workout room. However, did have a view of the inner courtyard where the pool was. Families looked to be enjoying themselves immensely. Personally, I don't tend to spend much time at hotels. It serves as a place to sleep and perhaps rest for brief periods between activities. This works well for that. definitely no soundproofing at the door: could hear people in the hall easily. Could hear some pool activity but heavy drapes damped that quite well.
I love how clean everything is and how much my kids and I love to come here. I hear that they have been changes coming and I hope it doesn't ruin it and make it be something that is not for families to come to.
Location - - no busy roads nearby. Location - - easy access to St. George running/biking trail system. Pool area looked so inviting yet secluded, but the weather just wasn't quite warm enough to enjoy pool time.
East access, clean room. Breakfast only so-so. Clerk at desk not very familiar with things to see in St. George.
We had a great one night stay here. I was impressed by how friendly all the staff members were and how clean and neat the rooms were too. Great breakfast too. We'll be back!
Stayed here before, excellent staff. Awesome place. Only reason I give it a 4 star for location is the roundabout area. But other then that. 5 stars. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. I didn't eat breakfast here this time around but last time I stayed there in 2014, the food was ok.
Stopped here for a night. Very friendly staff. I booked the wrong date by accident and they still honored the booking. Breakfast was great. Will visit again if I'm in the area.
Location It was pet friendly. Stench
Room was not clean, hall was not clean. Ice machine on ground floor did not work. Breakfast room was not clean. Outside door was not locked
UPON CHECK IN THEY SAID NO ANIMALS AND NO SMOKING. THERE WAS DOGS IN ROOMS. THE BACK DOOR FACING EAST. ALWAYS HAD PEOPLE OUT THERE SEATING SMOKING AND COOKING ON THERE BBQ. JUST RIGHT OUT SIDE THE DOOR. AT NIGHT THIS WAS REALLY UNEASE TO WALK THREW TO GET TO THE DOOR. SMOKING, DRINKING BEER AND THE COOKING. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THEM MOVE AWAY FROM THE DOOR TO DO THIS.
Expedia over booked room. Took half hour to straighten out , which was faster than i expected.
Pet friendly Desk clerk was rude- When I arrived he said I had already checked in- I said no - He didn't respond except to call someone in another room. He didn't explain anything and had loud music playing the entire time. Finally gave me a key- No apology- Ill never stay there again!
The owner manager could not print out a receipt for my stay. He took my email and said he would email the receipt, and still haven't received it.
Had a room Everything else
The price was what took us to this hotel... it was affordable, and along our path of travel. We got in very late, and left pretty early, so we really just needed a place to lay our heads before hitting the road again. You can tell it's an older hotel, but not un-cared for. If you aren't down to breakfast as soon as they open, there's really nothing left -- we ended up hitting McD's for a quick travel breakfast, after there really wasn't anything for our kids to eat.
Friendly, efficient and professional staff, Marco is great. North facing rooms have the best views of probably any hotel in St. George. Extremely nice new modern rooms, very big TV, huge showers, incredible beds. Very fast internet if you directly connect. Hotel is located away from traffic congestion. Black Bear conveniently located right across the street for the best breakfast in town. I wont stay anywhere else in this city Restaurant service still getting the kinks out. Hot tub way too hot, I'm guessing it was 108 degrees
Very clean with a friendly staff. Price per night seems high but comparable to other hotels in the area
Indoor pool, extensive breakfast, clean, spacious, and comfortable room and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff Wish the exercise facilities were bigger
Comfortable , handy hotel.Good motel at US level standard
The facilities and grounds were clean, well maintained and up to date. The air conditioner was very noisy. Each time it came on it woke me up.
Enjoyed the room, the beds, the breakfast. Traveling from San Diego and this hotel was a delightful surprise. Front desk recommended George's restaurant down the street and we had a nice late dinner. We would definitely stay there again.
The rooms are clean, quiet, and in very good taste with their up to date décor. I also like the size of the flat screen tv, as well as having both a fridge and a microwave. The beds are also comfortable and there is always a good supply of clean towels. For the money, it is my favorite place to stay when visiting St George on business. The hotel is also in a good central location for my business purposes.
clean two pools
proximity to nat'l parks room was warm and stuffy a/c was very loud and only worked on high
Pillow top mattresses. Pools. Jacuzzi. Rooms have fridge and microwaves!!! Nothing
Staff, cleanliness, breakfast Nothing we didn't like
The staff was very helpful and thorough. Room was clean. Great place to stay after a long day of traveling on the road.
Price (1/2 the price of Abby Inn) Ground floor with direct entrance Nice room Good breakfast The breakfast is great but not as deluxe as Abby Inn
If you don't want to sleep in your car this place will work. Rooms Snell of smoke. Seems to be some permanent residents living there.
When we showed up, they didn't have any record of our reservation and while the person at the front desk tried to help at first, she eventually just got very rude and told me she wouldn't take any responsibility. The lobby was filthy.
Room had some carpet smell
NASTY PLACE UNFRIENDLY STAFF. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
The price was cheap. I wish now that I would have spent the extra money to stay at a place that would actually be comfortable. The carport over the entrance of the motel was collapsing and supported by several 2x4's. It definitely did not look safe. Our room smelled like strong chemicals. (Probably to prove that an attempt was made to clean the space.) We discovered a pubic hair on the bathroom floor, which suggested that the cleaning staff is not so thorough. One of the pillows on the bed was actually a folded blanket put inside a pillow case. The A/C unit blew out large dust balls every few minutes. I learned my lesson that cheap doesn't mean good. I will spent an extra $15 next time so I will actually feel comfortable.
Parking was great - right outside! Clean room, good for price, bed was comfortable and aircon was fine! No issues really Decor was a bit old and it was more like a motel... Breakfast was OK, but nothing special.
Very nice and clean, great breakfast (much better than in other hotels)
A pleasant hotel perfectly fitting our needs. We looked for a palce to stay close to Snow Canyon State Park and this hotel was a very good choice.
Continental breakfast available, roomy, clean, easy to access off interstate 15, close to restaurants and shopping, if necessary. Refrigerator in room. Parking was a little tight but manageable.
Clean, well-maintained and good location
Close to everything in St. George, friendly staff, clean facilities, nice breakfast.
Staff very nice - helpful. Fulfilled last minute requests on res made 2 days ahead. Nice room. A little tough to enter/exit - busy street. Challenge to get a good view, and freeway on 1 side, busy street on the other side.
It's a bit pricey but always a good stay
The staff was excellent, but the room could of been better cleaned The corners of the Floors were filthy
The appearance was nice and located right off the freeway. Close to the convention center if that is your purpose. The room had cobwebs in the corners. The beds had this adjustable setting to soften the beds which didn't seem to work; so it was like sleeping on a rock. They also don't honor Hilton Rewards if booked via third and inquired about this policy went unanswered to the general manager.
The hotel is clean and the staff is courteous but not especially helpful. The hotel is often swamped with overnight visitors on the way to a national park or other destination or for convention visitors as the convention center is next door. I did not like the impersonal way a guest is treated nor their lack of interest in the welfare of their guests.
staff was friendly, hotel and room were clean. Pool was heated. no refreshments in the lobby
They took such good care of me, the first room had an issue that the handyman hadn't finished yet so they upgraded my room to one on the top floor. That night the people staying in the room adjacent to mine had an issue with the volume of my TV. SO the next morning when I was getting a delicious breakfast the front deskman asked how I was doing. I explained the noise situation and he found me a room and then offered to help move my luggage. Seriously top notch service, I would highly recommend this Beautiful hotel to anyone looking to live the high life. My only complaint is that I couldn't spend more time. I was treated like royalty.
Staff was ultra friendly and helpful Shower was good My room was dirty in two ways: 1) There were bread crumbs on the bed sheets, which makes me think the bed sheets were not changed at all 2) There was brown residue in the toilet when I first opened it up to use it
Loved the clean, spacious rooms.
Very clean and nicely decorated for a lower price rate. The beds were much more comfortable then I expected. The AC made a noise but we didn't notice it until the last night of three. We were still able to sleep with it. I let the front desk know and they were very friendly on getting it fixed after. I worked at a hotel so I made sure to let them know for the next guest.
Everything was good. No complaints.Hot tub and pool were great.
The outside of the building looks new and great the finishes inside the rooms were rough. Some new counters, but faucets that don't run a steady stream, uneven walls, mismatched tiles in the shower, exposed mortar with no tile in shower in some places.
The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean with lots of space. The safety lock on the first room i was given was broken, but tthey were happy to reassign another. I had to drag my 40# suitcase up a flight of stairs tho.
Broken tv, old furnishings
I enjoyed the value. The rate didn't break the bank and the beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. The room was clean. The front lobby is nice and clean. Strange updates-nice granite counter tops and nice, new tile, but then paint over trim and caulk the needed to be replaced? Sloppy paint job in the room and we could see daylight around three sides of the door.
Noticed most of these are right next to highway with ample parking and nearby food places. Towing a vehicle means looking for ease of parking.
Close to everything. Freeway right there and shopping close. More fruit at the breakfast bar would have been nice.
Good location, many place to eat around there. 3 tables for the so called continental breakfast - you will have to sit with others food is toast, jam cereal, imitation eggs Hotel is old and it shows its age, bath room not so clean things are pealing etc rusty clot hangers etc If you wake up after 11:00 am as i did the maid service will be gone and no chance for a clean room.
Very clean! And a convenient location
Convenient, clean, quiet. Hard to find.
the proxcimity to shopping and restaraunts, the friendly staff and the great value
We booked a room at the Red Lion hotel a couple nights before our stay. We had never heard of it before. The red neon lights were different, but all we really cared about was how clean and comfortable our room was. Our room was clean, everything worked well, and though the hotel was packed, it was nice and quiet in our room. Great stay! Wouldn't mind coming here again!
Love the pool area and the ping pong and the billiards. Also the look of this place just screams vacation at you. The staff is also very very helpful and fun. The beds weren't super comfortable and the free breakfast was total garbage food. Well, the waffles were ok but there was a huge line to get one.
Housekeeping left the door to our room wide open. We found it totally open when we came back in the evening. This was most likely because the door was damaged/broken and didn't close properly. Luckily, none of our belongings were stolen, but that was a miracle. The breakfast food was not great and the place felt dirty and run down. It also smelled terrible. We will not stay there again.
The pool the game area and the quiet after 10pm. The pool looks like its deteriorationg
The breakfast was good and the staff at front desk were very nice. Requested quiet area but it was anything but quiet. It was not as clean as one would expect, don't think the hallways ever get cleaned.
Amazing swimming pool that connect inside and outside and fantastic complimentary breakfast as well as facilities.
i loved waling out of the room and having the mountains there. Facing south was good. Breakfast was good. One of the ladies at the desk was rude, arrogant and grouchy! She was disrespectful. Long story....... The people who staying in the room next to us kept trying to get in our room through the access door between the 2 rooms. I kept waiting for them to just walk in our room. The most difficult for me was the rude lady. After traveling all day in the heat and some complications on the trip i just wanted to go to sleep. To check in and have her be such a jerk was hard for me to hold my temper. The girl in the morning was also a joke. No personality and seemed disgusted with anyone who was there. Didn't like her job very well. The lady when we checked in who finally helped us was fine. She was an islander and did her best.
We have been coming here for years! Love the ammeneties! Indoor - outdoor swimming and hot breakfast are the best!
The price. We booked early and got a great deal. The staff was very nice and allowed us to check in early and check out late. Our room which had no outside window or natural daylight was stuffy and damp the whole time. The bathroom was awful. Small, outdated, in disrepair and not super clean. Although the pool was fairly nice, the pool deck was dirty, messy with not enough lounge chairs. Our group had to sun bathe on the ground which wasn't very clean.
Great buffett.. It was dirty..it would be so much nicer if they really cleaned everything!!
The staff was friendly, and when we let them know about a broken door handle, they fixed it right away. The breakfast was good. When we walked into the hallway leading to our room, we saw cigarette butts right inside the door. The hallway itself was pretty nasty, and we passed pills and other garbage along the way. It was gross, but it was also late at night, and I figured it was just the messes that had been left by guests since the last cleaning. However, when we came back the next night, a lot of the same messes were still there. The door handle in our room wasn't attached at all, and we had to reattach it to leave our room (They did fix this quickly, however, when we brought it to their attention.) There were stains and residue of some kind on the curtains--the kind that made me afraid to touch them. I also took a cold shower both mornings we were there. My husband showered about a half hour after me, and after a while, he did get some hot water, but it was constantly shifting between hot and cold.
Front Staff to be highly commended . Personable and very helpfull Pool and area could be freshened.
Above average continental breakfast for a two star motel. I eat very healthy so I was glad to find healthy options like fresh cut fruit, oatmeal and yogurt. It's right off the highway near a pretty red rock formation. The lobby is well appointed. The bed was comfortable. While conveniently located off the highway, it's not that close to Zion, if that's your destination. It's not walkable to anything of interest. My husband said the waffles were nothing special.
Breakfast, swimming pool, staff was friendly, Wi-Fi was horrible was never able to actually use it
room recently remodeled. Looked great. Love the extra tile in the living space, much easier to clean. breakfast staff was really nice, filling drinks for you, asking you if they could get you things. don't even get that when i go to a restaurant half the time. Price was great.
The bed was comfortable; the room was a good size for the price; bathroom was fine. Elevator slightly slow; slight smell; entry door late at night took several tries to open.
Clean. Pleasant. Good value
Rooms were nice. Breakfast was great. Pool was closed for remodeling. That was a big reason to book this hotel.
Clean, good breakfast.
I loved the decor of the room, I prefer flatter pillows but they were better than most places and I know that most people like fat pillows. I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub was a hair in the bath tub.
I didn't like that it wasn't family friendly. I love my family and hearing children and i missed hearing children yet they allow barking Dogs. ...makes no sense. It was not quiet, the room above us, they were very noisy. I don't think I will return, and the price was way to high.
Loved the peace and quiet and the close proximity to Snow Canyon. The bed was saggy and uncomfortable. The room was clean but could have been nicer for the price.
This was amazing. 4 stars. Would be 5 star without spa Amy. Amy in the spa was AWFUL and unprofessional but don't let that put you off. All the other staff members especially those in the resort went above and beyond to make my vacation wonderful. Fitness classes were so diverse and the instructors were great. Personal trainers fantastic. Michelle and Amy at the front office were amazing. Marcy was the best concierge ever. The food was better than that of Canyon Ranch or Miraval. the rooms are above average. Only problem was that I called the spa one day to rearrange my massage times because the concierge had double booked me by accident with a massage and kayaking and Amy treated me like a common criminal. I called back later and offered to come in early or later and she was so rigid. It's off-season and it was a Wednesday, so the schedule was wide open. When I spoke to other guests at lunch they agreed that she was rude and unaccomadating. I then spoke to the concierge who realized it was their error. They repaired my schedule and Amy called me. No apology at all. Just lectured me on double booking and cancellation policies. I'm not exaggerating when I say she door to me like I was a 2 year old. I doubt she has worked in an elegant resort before now and I doubt that she will last long here with that attitude in this industry. Otherwise everything was wonderful. Hammocks rock! Amy in the spa
The location is excellent and close to alot of things. Staff was friendly and the hotel was relatively clean. Comfortable place to stay. Just being picky but the sitting area for breakfast was small and not much room for kids and others to get their food. The Wi-Fi was really spotty and unreliable but other than that, everything else was fantastic.
They had great breakfast food, they were clean & Friendly
We were impressed with the low price and high quality. The we used the newly rennivated fitness room. The breakfast was had more options than expected. The pillows were hard!
Perfekt breakfast !!!
Location We have consistently stayed in St. George at the Ramada Inn. We have found that each year, the breakfast experience is getting worse. This year, in addition to a poor food selection, the breakfast staff was rude.
Friendly staff. Cleanliness of property inside and out. Convenient area for pets from ground floor room. HVAC made rattling noise when operating. A bit annoying when trying to fall asleep. Also, no comforter or extra blanket for the bed, so necessary to increase the heat, so the HVAC had to run more than I would normally have set for temperature if I had a blanket.
convienent to freeway and quiet badly needs an update. horrible pillows and bed
No COLD water.
Was very clean, the bathroom was dated. The breakfast was really great. The staff very helpful. Enjoy staying there each visit.
Great location, great price. Bathroom was a little dated. They only had one guy on the breakfast, and he was having trouble keeping up.
