The staff was very nice and helpful. Had no problems checking in and out. The room was mostly clean and comfortable. From what I saw, the hotel overall was well kept, clean and comfortable. Overall very happy with my stay. Don't get me wrong, I think the cleaning crew did a great job and I know their job is tough, but I would just like to point out a couple of things that could be better: hair on the bathroom floor and coffee pot was not clean.
Great hot breakfast! Bacon, eggs, waffles, breads fruits cereals. Comfortable and spacious suites. Quiet. Clean room. Minor fixes needed in bathroom. Toilet ran and small spots of mold above shower as well as small area of wallpaper above shower needing gluing.
Very pleased with this Comfort Suite. This one changed my mind after having a poor experience with one in San Diego. I will be back checking in now that not Comfort Inns are alike. Very good value, and easy to get to.
i loved the cleanliness and attributes, like microwaves and fridgerators in rooms. i love the sitting area in the room as well. it's spacious, clean, updated and a very pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was great too, alot of great choices of foods. i loved just about everything! my only complaint is i wish the hotel had a lounge to have cocktails.
The staff was great, breakfast was great!
3 mile drive to Magic Mountain thru town streets. Nothing
Most everything. The staff was great! The facilities clean and comfortable. Enough stations on the TV. Only complaint was the fitness facility could have been in a little better shape other wise no real complaints.
Nothing Upon our arrival and check in, we were assigned a room on the fifth floor. Having brought a number of items for family members, we needed to unload our vehicle as the Motel is located in a high crime area; full of abandoned buildings which previously housed Night Clubs, Pubs, Movie Theaters, Restaurants, and Strip Malls. I went in search of a luggage cart to speed and easy the task. Not finding any in the area of the elevator, I returned to the lobby and asked the front desk attendant where they stored them. I was informed they could be anywhere in the Hotel. After searching seven floors, I finally found one outside in the parking area. It was the one, and only one for the entire Hotel. Next problem we encountered was when I flushed the stool in the bathroom and water sprayed out from between where the tank sets on the bowl. I notified the front desk of the problem, and following repeated notifications to the front desk of the leak, it was repaired on the fourth day of our stay. During our stay, the fire alarm went off three times resulting in our evacuating the Hotel down five flights. The Hotel was undergoing major repairs due to the roof leaking and major water damage to dry wall in many areas of the Hotel. There Elevators move at the speed of stillness. They are hydraulic and jerk and bump you around as the hydraulic cylinders expand or collapse. The elevator by the lobby broke on the weekend, and all seven floors were reduced to one Elevator serving the entire population. The quality of the Continental Breakfast was very poor and second rate. We went out for breakfast after the first morning. The Hotel’s lack of concern for the well being and safety of their guests is a big issue. All you heard was guests talking about how bad things were with the Hotel and staff.
The check in staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be. It was a filthy establishment. I have no problem staying in a place like this, it was cheap. However, I felt bad for the people that had kids with them. If I had to stay there for longer than a couple of nights I would get my own stuff to clean with.
The kitchen No pool:(
Nice kitchen They told me I couldn't check in for 30-45 min and then they couldn't find me in the system
Hotel is maintained nicely, staff is supportive and friendly. Rooms are showing their age. No in room safe, no in-room technology plate, wireless access only,
A jug of milk, ordered for my three young children was 22 dollars.
Big room. Walking distance to shopping (Westfield Topanga). Noisy. The room is not well insulated from noise in the hall way and adjacent rooms. The mattress was too soft. The bed frame made noise and had to be fixed. No safe in the room for valuables. Internet costs extra. $17 for parking.
Staff was very nice. No Fridge in room. Windows didn't open.
Weekend rates were excellent and it is centrally located within a mile of dozens of restaurants, a movie theatre, malls, etc.. 15 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from Hollywood. Great location if you are visiting someone in the West San Fernando Valley The lobby was under constructions so it was a little bit hectic with the limited operating space.
very good, clean room wake up call system not reliable
Price was, great for a safe and clean room. Had to pay $17 for parking when there are plenty of parking in near by malls. Room was no frills but clean and comfortable
Bedding was terrible, paper thin
Why is there no pool at this facility?
Due to an oversight from booking.com we ended up without a place to stay for the evening, we never tried kayak before and in less than a minute we secured a room, cheaper than the original booking. The hotel was clean room was spacious they had a shuttle in a three mile radius. Close to shops malls etc. Hated the lumpy pillows , gel pillows work so much better. Our heads weigh a lot so down pillows just get smashed down. Shower head was way too high and was low flow,
Friendly and helpful staff, room was very clean and comfortable they have removed the bath tubs, which was a bummer because I was really looking forward to a hot soak at the end of my day. Also, the overhead bathroom light automatically shuts off after a few minutes, so the room went mostly dark during my shower.
The bell hop was so nice when helping me with my luggage. The rooms were very comfortable. As mentioned above the front desk's phone skills and the ice machine on my floor was broken.
Pool side golf near by Location was great bar was friendly
- Very courteous staff - Comfy rooms and facilities - All my requests were taken care of within 10 minutes
room and gym all was very good
This hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was in a great location with nearby shopping and dining. It is also very close to Magic Mountain which was very convenient. nothing
Everything was nice. Valet was way to expensive, especially over night and your staying at the hotel.
Nothing the stay was horible The location and the staff
Nice pool. Good service. Good Location.
Staff helpfulness - restaurant, bar, front desk, other staff encountered in hallway No rooms ready at check in time, limited menu, new room keys needed for late checkout, no double queen rooms
Location was great. Staff was friendly. Property was gorgeous. Super comfortable. Relaxing. Very enjoyable.
Right on airport. Jets start taking off at 5am
I come here twice a year and always booked at this hotel. Last year stay was very depressing. The room not clean, staff not helpful, and hotel was under repair, which make a lot of noise. So everything was a messed. Now it is the opposite. All staff very accomodating, room nice and clean, everything in order.......I gave this hotel a FIVE STAR!!!
AC don't work.. No free parking "We had validation for over night parking and to our surprise they still charged the card "!.. Loud Airport/Air field within 200 feet & airplanes flying almost all night. For almost $200 a night NOT worth it !
Hotel was Clean, well-maintained, well-staffed, friendly...Not a bad place to stay! Bumps right up to Van Nuys Airport - and although the Jets dont fly in/out during the night (well, not usually...lol), they do start @5:00 AM as this is a Private Airport - My word of advice...Don't get a room on the Far WEST side of Hotel (my room was right across the parking lot from the Airport and those jet are LOUD @5;00AM!! (I'm a light sleeper too so it wasn't the best situation)....
Had a great room on the first floor with sliding doors that opened to a beautiful green court yard next to 2 spas very relaxing Wish there had been more eat in restaurants near by
Clean room for a good price near where I needed to go. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Rooms are plain wrap, with a view of a parking lot. Hallways and building looks a little out dated. Don't like paying for a hotel and then pay to park there. Nothing luxurious but not bad. No fridge, I like a fridge for my snacks! Airplanes were cool when you want to look, but not so cool when your sleeping!
Room was fine. Staff great. Location was good for me. I could come back from a stressfull day and have a drink in the bar, order dinner and feel comfortable being solo. Staff was very accomodating. Had a little trouble getting my boarding pass printed out. But the staff perservered and I got it. I had great meals at the cafe and also room service. Not sure that they are as green as they think they are. did not replenish the regular coffee packets.
Over all is great. None
Dont be fooled by the picture. This hotel is lame. I should've just booked the Marriott. Place. Room. Carpets. Front desk. Manager
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It is near restaurants and shopping. More outside lighting is needed for the buildings in back.
There AC is quiet Their booking system and service provided are awful!
Close to Six Flags. Facility undergoing maintenance and water was all over the hall. WIFI didn't work. Staff not very friendly.
Quiet-didn't hear other people or the freeway. Heated pool and lounge chairs Vaulted ceiling on second floor Good breakfast including waffles, juices, cereal, fruit, and pastries Very nice staff Clean room with comfortable linens
My family had a nice stay. Very close to Magic Mountain. Also had a nice breakfast.
Be aware there is traffic noise. Travel with earplugs. Bed was comfortable although the non-smoking room smelled of smoke.
Staff was great and so was the room.
Location adjustment to Six Flaga Old room, bugs, strange smells
Clean close to magic mountain They charged me twice and it takes two weeks to put my money back on my card.
clean room. Comfortable bed. Fairly quiet considering the location next to freeway.
How greasy these people are.
All of it That I had to leave
Pros: -location -very clean -up-to-date -helpful and friendly staff -nice rooms -comfortable beds -delicious breakfast -Six Flags shuttle -very well priced -cozy and comfortable outdoor patio -nice pool Cons: -none. Seriously, this place was perfect for our needs
The facility was good and in OK location for major attractions. I booked a double several days in advance. When we arrived I was told they didn't have a double and had to take a king room with rollaway bed. I was given $25 off and two drinks. It was too late on Friday to find another hotel in the area. The rollaway was not very comfortable.
Transportation to and from Magic Mountain was easy and convenient. The room was very comfortable and the pool/ spa was relaxing. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful! No complaints here!
The beds were terrible. Very hard
With the rise in parking cost at six flags choosing Hilton over comfort inn (where breakfast is included) for $10 more was a no brainer. The free shuttle service was just the icing on the cake to newly upgraded accommodations, cleanliness and pleasant staff. The second level has gorgeously high ceilings and not really a big point but I like the staircases being so open and not making you like you're about to be a victim in a horror movie. And even if breakfast isn't free the level of food service makes it worth it. Getting in early we expected to take a quick nap and go straight to dinner, but hitting the bed we immediately passed out in blissful slumber and come morning we didn't want to crawl out bed. As someone that travels to six flags 4+ times a year this is definitely my new favorite hotel. A second elevator would be nice, but not necessary
Easy access from the freeway. The room was very clean. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We used the in house shuttle service, the drivers were very nice and good drivers. The breakfast was made to order and the servers made you feel they were glad to see us. Thanks again for a fun stay!
I like that the hotel has everything in it. Little gift shop, cafe, room service, etc, the other hotels in the area don't have any of these things. It's really a good size and rather comfortable room for the money. The 2 rooms I was in needed painting on the bathroom doors, the Door security feature in both rooms were worn out. Light bulbs in bathroom needed changing.
Live music at the Arena, total comfort in my room, nice restaurant, good food, good wine!
The beds of the hotel were nice and the bathroom had a very nice tub and shower. Those were the only highlights on this stay. The wifi in our room did not work at all and they said it was because we were in a part of the hotel where the signal was weak. They told me to hook the ethernet cable to my laptop and even that didn't work. It took 3 calls down to the front desk to get someone to finally fix the ethernet cable. The first night we came in, there must have been an event or a load of people at the restaurant in the hotel because we could not find a parking space anywhere remotely close to the entrance of the hotel. By the next morning half those cars were gone so I knew they weren't guests. The walls of the hotel were also sort of thin and I could hear someone next door talking loudly on their phone. Overall it was not a pleasant experience and I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Great Value for the room ,located close to shopping Low water pressure, stale smell in rooms
staff, room bath towels needed to be larger and I'm a small person!
GREAT PRICE, CLOSE TO VENUE.
Excellent value. Great amenities: gym, bar & grill, pool, WiFi & wired internet access. Water pressure was very low, making it difficult to shower. I understand conservation but I would prefer to make that a conscious decision rather than be forced by the plumbing.
Tv sound was set so that we could not adjust volume and when air conditoner was running could not hear TV. Was told BT t the desk this c was done by cable company. That made no sense.
Quiet, relatively comfortable rooms. Restaurant and room service very over priced
The bed was comfortable Because we didn't book through the hotel the meager breakfast that others got for free cost us $10 each. After enough complaining they took that charge off. Other places offer free bottles of water - this place charged 2.50 if you drank one. The room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it said it was a no smoking room.
Convince Maid service spotty and never complete
The location is nice, close to shopping and coffee. Pool and hot tub area is nice and clean. Rooms were not very clean, old, tub stained, shower curtain moldy, fridge was off when arrived and once on it froze our drinks, hard to get in and out of with baby things.
The front desk staff was very efficient and pleasant upon check-in. We received a call in our room from the front desk shortly after we arrived to ensure we had everything that we needed. The common areas in the lobby were comfortably sized. The whole property was clean and orderly. The room layouts - standard for newer Marriott locations we have stayed in, are cramped. There are other hotels at the same price point that feel like apartments compared to the Marriott layout. If you are looking for a comfortable bed - look to other hotels. Marriott seems to use the cheapest mattresses on the market. Insufferable for more than one night.
Very economic, clean, close to six flags, and the bistro food was good. We were the only ones in line and the bistro staff didn't even greet us and let us know they'd be with us shortly until they were finished with whatever task they were working on. Also for the price of food you get very little.
Bistro was great for breakfast You can hear slight freeway noise
The pool is amazing. Great rooms. Uhhhh... Fee for parking? Didn't see that coming. No info about that when I booked or checked in. Also, no breakfast? I was under the impression that was complimentary. Nope. But Summer at the front desk was super knowledge & helpful.
The staff was frirndly and very helpful, the rooms were spacious and the grounds were gorgeous. The pool was clean and heated.
Very nice overall. Staff very nice.
The fasted check in and out I have ever experienced. Th staff was friendly and courteous
The staff offer excellent service, when booked in advance you get a better deal but overall above average hotel
I liked the room (nice beds/ linens), workout room. Breakfast was good too While the breakfast was good, staff had a hard time keeping up with the cross country team that descended all at once. But even so, they managed pretty well. Need some overflow procedures! I bought my room on Travelocity, so could not see a closing receipt when I checked out. I wish that we're different. All in all, I liked the hotel and will come back if the opportunity arises. Thank you.
good and clean.. too far away from LA center
The staff was extremely helpful and kind. My bed was the best hotel bed I've ever experienced. Coupled with an array of pillow choices, one that was perfect, I slept very well. I did not like the lack of space in the breakfast room and the use of barstools that are not accessible to elderly/wheelchair guests. The hot tray was in the corner and the line waiting to get food blocked other guests from getting different items, i.e. waffles. The room itself felt as though it were missing furniture, such as a chair and ottoman; there was a lot of wasted/unused space.
Staff was friendly, breakfast included was nice, room was cleaned very well. Nice hot tub. Everyone was helpful. It's nice that the hotel has gone smoke free. Small room for the price. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, hence when you take a shower, the steam builds up. We were on an end room and there was a light right outside of our room (kept the room with more light than I liked all night long). We had children running and very noisy outside of our room into the evening.
The staff was amazing! Everyone went out of their way to say hello and check if you needed anything! Room had lots of outlets for all our electronics. 24 hour coffee/hot cocoa along with warm cookies at night was a huge plus! Not to mention yummy full hot breakfast and ice cold bottled water by the heated pool!
Price and Location Clogged toilet when we first arrived, called front desk three times before someone showed up. "Renovations" taking place with hammering at 7am.
The bed wasn't so bad The bed
The convenience, it was near to my relatives home. The room smells, it was a very concentrate deodorant that cause my wife and me a terrible headache. The air conditioner location is under the curtains so I had to tied it using a phone cord to get the room some cooling which was very inconvenient cause the windows on front of may room could see through so while my room was cooling there was no privacy. The bathroom door was hanging on by a miracle. The room is full of yellow stains and hanging power outlets that is dangerous to any guest that stays in this hotel. Don't forgetting the unsafe of the front door once it is locking bolt feeling uneasy the whole night.
If it's nearby places you would like to go there is nothing wrong with this place. Got in, got out and my room was clean. The room was cheap too. The place is definitely older and not exactly in a "nice" part of town. If you don't care about those things it's not really a big deal though.
Close to restaurant and Fwy access Housekeeping service Stole my husband new pants!!!
The staff seem friendly and the lobby was nice for a motel. The kids liked the breakfast offered. The room was good size. It does need some updating. There were unfinished patching on the wall. There was a tiny cockroach in the bathtub. That was the only roach we saw for the stay. Although I can't help but assume there more hidden behind the scene.
The breakfast was good. The pool was nice, but not clean, and no Jacuzzi which was sad after walking around parks all day. I have never written a review before in all of our travels but this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and we usually stay in $30 to $40 hotels. My daughters graduated high school so we thought we would treat our-self to a nicer hotel this time. The rooms were dirty! The tub had red stains so we didn't dare shower. The carpets had burn marks. The sliding glass doors were dirty and hard to use. The wall paper was falling off. Patches of the popcorn ceiling had come down. There was a chair in the room that was falling apart so we didn't dare sit in it. The internet was not good at all there was a lot of the time when we had no access to it at all. Barely any towels so if you did dare shower there was no towel to use at the pool. We had to kick the door to open it because it was so tight. The pillows were a joke they were barely pillows and there was only two on a bed. I wish I could post pictures so you can tell I am not exaggerating! I would never stay there again. We left early and got another hotel room and we were much happier!!!!!
It was cheap and has a great location; there is cable, nice pool and closed parking lot. Rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Essentially, you get what you paid for, a decent room for a decent price; if you're planning to use this only for sleeping and not to spend all day there. Rooms are a little dirty and lack some maintenance. Housekeeping did not clean our room half the days we were there.
The prices are cheap.
This place is blocks away from restaurants, stores and about 30 minutes away from Santa Monica. The beds are uncomfortable, looked like there was mold in the shower.... And the shower heads feels like someone is hoseing you down with lots of pressure. Unfinished patch work on the walls.
The lobby, gate, pool and parking is good. But it will help if they work a lot more on the cleanliness. The curtain had tears with about 3 inches long, the bathroom door and wall is extremely dirty. It had dark stain where you can see someone had an effort to clean it but it almost looked muddy, public toilet outside would probably be cleaner. I saw strands of hair folded inside our towel. Need a bit more lighting in their rooms. Overall, if they would have focused more on cleanliess inside the room it would have been a pleasant stay. Please read above. So dirty. Cleanliness 3/10
It was near the cemetery where we needed to be... It was dirty... Staff either couldn't hear due to the bullet proof glass or they don't understand English well.... Tub was dripping water all nite and all the time... We are in a drought!!!!!! Drapes and bed was discusting ...
Great staff, great hotel Staff, food and room
I particularly like the pillows. I don't know where the hotel industry gets them, but I'm on a search for my own bed!
Wonderful breakfast, close to freeway and shopping, friendly staff Bathroom needed updating
Very, very clean rooms and super comfy beds & a delicious warm breakfast! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The location was close to many things, food wasn't in shortage near the hotel! And there are many markets *Target, Ralphs were within 5 min drive. It was a quite, very good stay for the price On the second night, we learned that the freezers aren't exactly like the ones in a normal home so DON'T BUY ICE CREAM AND PUT IT IN THERE. Also there was a couple of surprise guests, 2 crickets that came in through a missed hole from the caulking. Its all good though, aside from that this location was EXTREMELY clean and welcoming
the breakfast was great! the beds werent comfortable and the room was a little outdated
The staff was professional and courteous. The price matched our expectations. It felt like a hotel on the decline. It felt like its peak was in 1992, and has since been in need of a large renovation.
Lock on my door wouldn't work therefore I was unavle to get into my room 3 times until they were able to solve the issue. Communication and resolution was very poor.
Breakfast was very nice. Rooms and infrastructure are in desperate need of updating. Horribly ugly patched up bathtub, Counter torn out of room replaced with closet, but in a very depressing way. It was sad to spend so much money on such bare minimum surroundings.
The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding! There are no elevators. We were fine but if you have any challenges with stairs request a first floor room.
Breakfast was beyond what was expected. The pool and outdoor space was very attractive. The layout of the hotel was very nice. Very clean and comfortable. Check-in staff was super. The style of the interior of the rooms was a bit outdated.
Quiet The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. You could literally feel the springs when you put your hands on it.
Free breakfast and comp wifi Need to pay for parking there
I loved the room and the cocktail hour. The food was fantastic! My only complaint is that when I needed a luggage cart none were to be found. I had been to the lobby and was told someone would bring me one to my room. I had to call 3 more times and an hour later I finally got one. But whoever brought it didn't knock to let me know it was there. I found it by opening my door again on which it was put in front of another room.
I love this place. The staff is always very nice. The breakfast is great and the place is always clean. The happy hour is also great after a long day at the park. Other customers. Ha ha ha ha
Breakfast Wifi was down entire stay, unfriendly front desk
Great breakfast and very friendly staff! The carpet in the rooms could be cleaner. It looked worn and dirty.
So close to six flags. Free breakfast. Nothing! Amazing!
Location and price. Starbucks in the lobby. The hotel overall felt old, tired and way overdue for a complete renovation.
We liked the comfortable beds and updated room. The hotel had everything we needed - although we didn't have the chance to try much out since we were staying there after a late wedding and left early morning. Valet was overpriced. For the price of the room self-park should at least be free. The room location (318) was level with the gravel top roof building below - unsightly and defeated the purpose of having a balcony.
I had reserved 5 rooms each with 2 double beds. At checkin I was given 4 rooms each with a King bed & 1 room with 2 double beds. Each room was to accommodate a family of 4. Clearly, 4 people would not fit on 1 King bed. I was offered a rollaway in only 1 of the rooms with a King & told that there were no more rollaways available. Some members of my party could not stay at the hotel & went to stay with local relatives. Shame on Marriott for not honoring the reservations as made!!
The room was comfortable and adequate. It was pretty inexpensive going through an online source. Having said all the negative comments it is tons better than most hotel rooms I have been in. They did not give free wi fi. I tried to use my computer with a wire in the business room and it did not work. The lobby was so noisy that it was impossible to use the computer there even though in the lobby the wi-fi was "free". The parking was like a block away and you had to pay. They were short on amenities. I felt like they were nickel and diming me. The nice view they gave me was rather short on the nice. ,They did not give free wi fi. The concierge office was good with instructions. Registration was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived and went to our room, they had not made the bed and the pillows were on the chair in the room. The room cleaning staff was not real up to the standard that Marriott offers other places. We found a wet towel on our side table one day, they never replaced the glasses once they were used. They either left them or just did not replace them even though they were gone or dirty. They did not remove used food on plates from the room - Had to place them in the hall for them to get taken. Left things as if they had not finished their job. It seems that the cleaning staff needs to be taught the proper things to do. DO NOT leave rooms unfinished! The concierge lounge was not what it has been at other stays in other areas. They ran out of food each evening. The selection was not at all what it has been other locations. The staff in this area were not very friendly.
Very clean and rooms look good. I got there at check in time and still had to wait 30 minutes for the room.
We booked a deluxe double queen and it was perfect, the rooms aren't enormous but very clean and well decorated. It has a fridge and a microwave. The location was perfect as we were visiting friends in the area. There is a railtrack across the street which might bother some but it didn't to us.
Very nice room for the price. Convenient location for Six Flags Magic Mountain. Free Wi-Fi in room. Loud highway noise. As long as you're a deep sleeper this shouldn't be a problem. Avoid the rooms nearest the road.
Really good place! Clean, nice renovated rook and affordable!
Very affordable stay. Free wi-fi available Not too keen about the location. I was searching for a place to stay at Valencia right off of Hwy 5 and didn't know why they directed me to Santa Clarita. Hotel is right off a busy/noisy highway.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the rooms were. Everything was clean. Great location . The staff was so unfriendly. I went down to the lobby to ask for an extra towel and got asked "why?" Very rudely and then was told it was my fault for having the "do not disturb" sign on the door.... Sorry that I don't like having people come in my room when I have tons of stuff in there? Very rude staff.
The motel was clean and think for the price, it is a great deal. I would book a stay again. Towels didn't smell clean
Very nice rooms, and comfortable beds. Front desk help, he needed to learn English better!
The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The mini fridge and microwave were clean and new. The bathroom was updated. The bed and pillows were very comfy, the wifi worked well, and the TV was nice. For the price and location, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
Nice rooms. Great value. Next to noisy road and railroad.
Great value for your money. After reading so review I was like oh crap why did I book here. But that was not the case at all! It was clean and not noisy at all! Like some peoples reviews. When we go back to 6 flags we will definitely stay here again. You can't beat the price. I don't really have anything negative to say. The only thing is it's like a mile or 2 away from stores and gas stations.
Very, clean, very great fragant, the room is very spacious, All brand new, I do recomend this hotel
Clean rooms, great staff. Easy access to the 101. Close to dining and shopping.
The bed had a burn hole in it and was very much unclean.
Rooms were modern, up to date, and clean. Hot shower with good water pressure always a plus. Loved having a small patio to relax outside. Apparently there were hookers on the street corner .... But that's totally out of the hotel's control. Good thing is I never seen them and they were not in or at the hotel!
Good location for our needs in LA. Good value. Loud airconditioning unit inside room and all night music by the poolside.
Super clean Great stay. No issues
Bathroom floor was not clean
Great continental breakfast, friendly staff, good size room and bed, quiet location even though next to main street Parking was tight, when motel was full (as it was both nightrs we stayed) parking was very limited
Was clean, nice continental breakfast, comfortable beds. The location was kinda sketchy for the price. You were a good hour at least from anything important.
Staff were friendly and did a courtesy call when we got to our room, price was good and free breakfast was good We stayed for three nights, four days. Even though breakfast was good we only went one time, the area where the breakfast was served at was way to cramped to accommodate any more than 10 people.
convienient to freeway, good restaurants, clean rooms, quiet, comfortable bed
quiet and clean place air conditioner have very bad noise
welcoming and professional staff, quiet room despite it being right next to a major street and the freeway, there's quite a bit of parking space, and there's a fridge and a microwave in the room. Very small bathrooms, the room are quite spartan, and a bit dark, the air conditioning is functional but noisy.
The room could of been cleaned a little better in places. Candy wrappers around the sides of the bed and dusty. The breakfast could of went a little later in the morning
It was cheap. It wasn't at all roomy. They gave us 3 totally flat pillows for a king size bed. Staff wasn't very friendly
Rodeway Inn is located in the hub of Castaic, so you can walk to anything you need is was great.
well, what they say is true. you get what you pay for. I searched for cheap and I got it. I did like that it was about 5 minutes away from six flags . it was clean. didn't like that the entrance to it on both sides is so steep my car scrapped twice causing bodily damage to my car underneath. I discovered a back way to exit the hotel so I used it. anyone with a low car avoid the front entrance .I drive a Chrysler 300 .
Overall the stay was good. Liked it. Nothing specific. I didn't find any negatives as such other than that your would find some large trailers also parked on the premises, but still thats fine.
The location of our was very quiet Night staff kept us waiting for long periods of time.
The bathtub looks like it could use some remodelling. The room had a strong smell of smoke (although admittedly it is a smoking room). However for the price and location, there is no better deal (at the time).
