Pros: they have thought about absolutely everything. from making someone's pet feel like a guest at the hotel (and allowing people with pets to actually travel/experience cozy top notch hotels...) to the heated towel racks and the included mini bar. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. The room is really nice in general and the bathroom is superb with a beautiful bathtub. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is wonderful.
Cons: The hotel parking is a bit inconvenient in terms of distance from the hotel and in terms of it being unpaved, hence muddy in rainy weather. The hotel also does not have a fitness facility. That said, they have free passes to the YMCA which has a great fitness facility.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I was disappointed in the fact that breakfast was not included , it was the most expensive hotel there and I have traveled to many inns like this , and they should include it . There was no gym ! They said I could go to the ymca 7 miles away . I later walked 500 ft to find a great gym that I could go to for 20.00 . I think the hotel should have a relationship with them . I will go to this area about 4 times a year but I am not sure about rebooking this ? Very expensive breakfast was 120.00 for 3 people.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional all around!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Batcheller Mansion is a wonderfully restored house just a few minutes’ walk from downtown. I had one of the cheaper rooms (I think!) but it was still a good size. Very comfortable bed. As it’s an old house, my room had more than its fair share of quirks - eg the drawers on the chest were so difficult to open and close I just gave up. The common areas of the house are stunning, and it’s a great place to relax in for an hour or two each day. The fresh baked cookies are divine. Breakfast was fairly simple but more than adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: There were also one or two things that could do with improvement...the hairdryer had no heat setting, and it was ferociously hot; the shower door had very sharp edges (the cut on my foot is proof); the TV remote was temperamental (catch a random button and you’re screwed); the aircon unit was old, noisy and fierce.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The 1873 mansion was beautiful and lovingly restored. The furnishings, photos and memorabilia were historically fascinating. We had access to the entire house, including the porch and other outdoor areas. The breakfast was ample and delicious.
Cons: The portable air conditioner left a lot to be desired. It shut off in the middle of a very hot night and needed to be emptied.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding hospitality. Excellent breakfast. Loved the old historic details in the house but very comfortable and homey.

Cons: Not much to offer other than a room. The free breakfast not very there good. I put my card on the bed to have my sheets changed the maid didn’t change the sheets. Upon check out I mentioned it to the staff she said oh really I’ll let the manager know, she really didn’t care. Probably won’t stay at this location again, there are better options in the area.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager and assistant manager were so accommodating making sure I got to use a prior year gift certificate during my 3 day stay. The assistant manager Teresa made the check in process super easy to ensure I only had to check in once for my 2 separate reservations. Other positives about the hotel: the breakfast is good, well stocked and clean, and the coffee is really good. Each room has a mini fridge and microwave even though the booking.com description did not list that amenity for each room. The hotel is located on a major road but set back enough so you do not hear any road traffic, it was really quiet for sleeping. Location is a short easy drive to Saratoga Race Track and area attractions.
Cons: Wish that the area near the hotel had more restaurants that were easy to walk to, there is a pizza restaurant that is located in the plaza in front of the hotel.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Food was ok. But kitchen lady kept watching my daughter and I as we were serving ourselves.
Cons: Bed, sheets, & even mattress protector had hair and I was told I had to change sheets myself when I called the front b/c there was no one else working. Rm was eventually changed at midnight b/c there was hair embedded even in the mattress protector.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We traveled to see my son graduate from the Navy nuke program and when he needed oral surgery a week later I didn't hesitate to book that stay at the same hotel. This was the first time I have ever stayed at a La Quinta and I would again.
Cons: If I had to to find anything negative it's hard but since I stayed with my husband and daughter it would have been easier if there was a coffee table so we could all eat at the same time on a table. She ate at the desk and he got the small end table so I had to hold my plate. So not a big deal but it would have helped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I thought the breakfast could use a little help''bacon perhaps? Homefries, or hasbrowns would have been lovely instead of wierd seasoned chicken..didn't really get that..? Eggs a little mushy, but the love th mini waffles! Coffee was very good!

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Suggesting their wonderful fire pit for our group to sit around in the evening. Couldn’t ask for more
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Great new
Cons: Pillows smelled had trouble sleeping from odor of pillows had to line them with towels
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Convenient to the highway, the pool
Cons: Someone else's food was in the fridge and the floor wasn't vacuumed well. There was also hair in the tub and the wi-if wouldn't connect. Our room was far from the main lobby so that may have been the problem.

Pros: We enjoyed having a full kitchen and having the beds separate from the living area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. If in the area again, we would definatley stay there again and will recommend it to others.
Cons: The only negative was the ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work. We were not sure if it was us not knowing how to work it or if it was truely not working. We did not tell the staff until we checked out. Otherwise I am confident they would have taken care of it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. Great bathroom too, and overall well equiped. The attention and help was very kind from Rob, and the walk around Saratoga is worth it. Good places to eat and relax.
Cons: Construction ongoing very close to the hotel (sidewalk repairing and upgrading).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy room and Amazing bed. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quaint and accessible. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and pleasant.
Cons: That I couldn’t stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful stay at the Brentwood! The staff are excellent and very welcoming, the bar/reception and fire-pit is a great place to spend some time enjoying a drink. The walk into town is pleasant and there are plenty of ubers to get back in the evening. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are characterful. Will definitely be back!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An incredible welcoming staff. This place had a real homey feel to it-- we loved that the bikes were available to take for the day, because it was a great way to see the town.
7.5 Good
Pros: Price was good relative to alternatives, and location was fine. Even better I suppose if I was there for the racing season. The two staff members I met were very friendly. The office (bar) looked very cozy for a nice late afternoon drink.
Cons: When you can drive right up to your room door it's more a motel. The bed was lumpy by my tastes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Get to see horses going to track. Walking distance to track
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Brentwood cwould be categorized as a Boutique Motel, with a definite comfortable hipster vibe. The staff is super friendly, especially Michaela who was accommodating and lovely to talk to. I traveled with my husband and we like to try new hotels in Saratoga because we are there often. We would go to back to the Brentwood, although it may not be for everyone. Again, it used to be a motel, so the rooms are very small with bare minimum as far as amenities (there are no proper closets, for example). That said, the bed is very cozy, although I would have liked a top sheet instead of just the comforter. Another suggestion is that in the colder months, the air conditioners are covered because there is a draft that comes through the unit and the room could be warmer. The shower was wonderful; although the bathroom is small and could definitely use a heat lamp in the ceiling because it was quite cold in there in the morning. The best part of the Brentwood? The bar. Small, quaint, elegant but with a trendy vibe, with a great wine selection and delicious craft cocktails. It is the type of place you could imagine yourself spending a lazy weekend afternoon into evening in, tasting and conversing. There are just several comfy barstools and a couple of tables, and that's what makes it so perfect. I would go back to the bar even if I weren't staying in the hotel. But I hope to do both again.
Cons: I was expecting the room to be small because it was a converted motel, so that isn't really an issue. I would advise the hotel to put less on the spaces where guests can put their belongings, perhaps add another hook on the wall. Also, my biggest issue was the bathroom. The shower is so wonderful but the bathroom itself is so cold, it needs a heat lamp in the ceiling.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Updated rooms and friendly staff
Cons: Small
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Brentwood Hotel is a lovely place to stay. The bar has amazing cocktails, the location is not too far out of town, and the whole place is beautifully curated and designed.
Cons: My only complaint is that the walls between the rooms were SUPER thin. I understand this is a unique building and space but we had some very loud neighbors both nights we were there and could practically hear everything they were saying... a testament to their loud behavior, but also to the fact that the walls were so thin. Not quite ideal when you're looking for a leisurely stay... I have no idea what they could do to change this without impacting the integrity of the building. Otherwise a lovely stay.
