They know how to run a hotel! The service was fantastic and amenities were nice. We had our wedding reception and the Delaney House next door and stayed in the hotel then, too. It is the way you'd expect a hotel to be run. No fridge in the room. We had leftovers from dinner and needed to leave them in the car. Luckily it was in the 30's that night, so wasn't an issue, but I'd imagine summer travelers might be out of luck.
This was the first hotel stay I can remember being thoroughly impressed. Immediate from check-in, great first impression when the friendly front desk clerk gave us each a bottle of water. Ordered room service for dinner, the food was amazing! The presentation was just impressive. We requested a comforter for the sofa bed, left the hotel for the day and returned to find the bed made up with the requested comforter. Completely comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, will definitely return again.
The D. Hotel was at the site of a meeting I was attending. I found it quiet, clean, and a nice little nest of quiet for my business visit. The adjacent restaurant is really delicious and was packed on the Tuesday night I was there (in a good way). Delicious food, good prices. Nothing.

We had our wedding at The Delaney House and stayed at The D. The staff was so amazing and helpful. We had a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we got back to our room. The elevator is terrible. We were stuck waiting to bring our stuff down for 25 min because every time the elevator stopped on our floor it was full. The fact that elevator was the slowest I've ever been in didn't help.
The breakfast area was nice, real plates and silverware. Pool and exercise area was nice. I arrived late, near 3 am. I had called ahead to have the pullout set up. It wasn't. After returning from my appointments about 3 the next afternoon, the room had not been cleaned. After I returned home, I discovered they had charged my credit card for the 2 nights, even through I had already paid through Kayak.

Decor was quaint yet luxurious all at once
Rooms were clean and well kept. Resturant down stairs was good food was descent. I found the front desk staff rude and not that personal able. The elevator from the parking garage was broken and the stair well smelled bad.
My room was very clean and comfortable.Staff was very polite and courteous. I went for dinner in the pub and was seated and left with a menu after 27 minutes of no one coming back got up and left. The next afternoon tried again and the service was not much better. Asked for silverware and napkins and never got silverware and had to go to bar and get cocktail napkins.
The gym and pool facilities were excellent. Good central location. The bathroom sink was taped up, not surprisingly the tv remote was also taped up. The curtain handle was broken.
They overbooked our hotel room; unacceptable.
Excellent service. Very nice and clean hotel. The hotel didn't have my reservation when I arrived. I called Kayak and after about 15 minutes on the phone was able to straighten things out. No apologies from kayak, which was disappointing.. But the situation at the desk was handled very well.
Staff had great attitude. It was a holiday evening and I encountered no sour pusses! Beds were so comfortable!. Will return. Ants in pool area. According to night staff, nothing available to address the problem. Annoying, but not enough to ed our swim time.

After my flight was unexpectedly canceled, I needed to find a place to stay that was near the airport and offered services like shuttle rides and had a restaurant. The Hilton Garden Inn fit the bill. My room was comfortable and reasonably priced and my dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent. I felt that the pool area didn't really warrant the title "spa", but it was still a nice area, overall. I also wish that the convenience store are had offered more than just food.
Walls are way too thin! Lost a lot of sleep because of a drunken wedding party two nights in a row! No rooms available to switch. If the hotel puts up with a crowd of people in a room like that, not the place I wa t to stay for business travel in the future. I make this trip annually and there are two other hotels right on top of it.
I was happy with the facilities at the Hilton Garden Inn, nice and clean for all the time we were there, but we only really slept there. What I was floored by, was the response of Timothy Grant, the Director of Sales, when I told him that I had forgotten my suit jacket at home and was going to a meeting... Tim actually gave me the jacket off of his back and offered it to me! This is the kind of over and above personal service that you just don't ever see! Keep hiring people like Tim, he truly cares about his guests! Nothing

this stay was due to my daughter and I taking my mom to the airport. Upon check in the front desk attendant was rude, very unfriendly. We asked what time the shuttle would come and he asked when my moms flight would leave. When we said 5, he stated arguing saying no flight leaves at that time. The lobby was so loud from the live music. Between that and the attendant arguing I wanted to just leave but I had already paid for the room online. Rooms were not clean. After seeing the first room I asked for a new room. The new room was a bit better, but I did not get under the covers and slept with my clothes on.

Was ok for the price and location
Convenient to highway. Allows pets. Room was spacious and comfortable and had fridge and microwave. Fitness center equipment was out of order.

The 'secure back door' was never locked. Room service did not make beds (they don't offer that?!) Key cards had to be reactivated every night when we couldn't get in our rooms. Hotel clientele was very 'adult and inappropriate'. Very uncomfortable.

For the price it was not what I expected. Very pleased and would most definitely go to this one again if I'm ever in this area! Put me in one room but the bathroom had not been clean. Staff handled the situation professionally and have me another room.

Convenient access to highway The heating system was not working properly. It took many hours of being on highest setting before room reached comfortable temperature. Bathroom was always ice cold.
Location Breakfast was covered in paper plates. One side of toaster don't work. Front desk manager very rude. Rooms has syringe in draw as well as pill bottles. As a customer you want to make sure they at least have a good hospitality.

Clean, great atmosphere, and convenient amenities. Fairly quiet considering it is near the airport. Ice machine on our floor was out of order as well as one of the elevators. Shower door in our room did not seal shut all the way, resulting in water all over bathroom floor. The woman at the front desk told us to use our towel to dry it up and had new dry towels brought to us.
Because we booked on "Bookaroom" we got charged $60.00 more. Call them directly - don't use kayak or an online
Wireless was acceptable when it worked. TV had HGTV. Air conditioner worked pretty quickly. Big shower, room for two people. Breakfast cereal included froot loops. Wireless didn't work at first. TV didn't work at first. Worked after maintenance came to look at it. Shades in room had gap for light to get through in the morning. Showerhead was very low.
Room was clean, comfortable. Breakfast buffet (included) was ample and convenient. Friendly staff. Location between downtown and Bay State Med. Ctr. served our needs, though it might not suit everyone. Easy access to I-91 and 291.
The staff at the front desk were incredibly responsive and helpful. I was at the hotel for less than 24 hours but they still made a very strong, positive impression on me.
Convenient location, free parking. No towels or shampoo left by chambermaid for two days in the row. Had to call front desk to request towels and shampoo. Complained to front desk at checkout, lady behind the counter apologized for inconvenience.

If you need to stay close to the Hartford-Bradley airport this is the place to stay. They have a goof breakfast and free transportation to and from the airport including the rental car facilities. Great value. Nothing.
Clean but light on toiletries. I did really enjoy the relaxing screensaver on the TV after a long trip. Great deal for someone just looking for a place to stay, get up and go. Seems popular with flight crews. I also liked that the hot water for tea has a separate source and is untainted by coffee. That is a rarity in the hotel breakfast bars. In fact, given a choice of hotels for another night, I came back. I hate it when the tea water tastes like coffee.
Hotel efficiently set up for the traveler. Older but well maintained. (have stayed at several other hotels in the area-- of comparable price but not of equal quality) Liked that there was an actual wall thermostat to control heat/cool, the remote had a guide button, their computer had shortcuts to easily print out boarding passes, it was clean behind the bed/ bedside tables!, ..... Re breakfast: wish the hotels would use paper plates/cups and have more wholesome wholegrain breakfast items.

Convenient shuttle to and from the airport. There were stains on the bedding. And a hotel employee was banging on my door at 6:30am and before I could even get up she used her key and started letting herself in! Luckily the latch was on and she couldn't open the door, and she finally yelled 'oops, wrong room. Sorry.' It was awful.
A good balance breakfast. Punctual shuttle to airport. Comfortable bed.Good shower water pressure. Booked a non smoking room, and got a non smoking room on a smoking floor. Assured by desk clerk that the room would not have a smoke smell. Wrong. A non-smoking room on a floor of smoking rooms and hallway is going to smell like tabacco smoke. While the offer was for a non-smoking room, I had no choice but to accept the reservation. However, I find it a bit deceiving not to fully explain/disclosed that a non-smoking room is on smoking floor until upon arrival. Due to this experience, I will not recommend La Quita.
Good location, staff was friendly and helpful Room was dated. Sink had cracks, floor tiles terribly worn. Breakfast normally is decent in LaQuintas, but today waffle batter had a sour taste

I really enjoyed how they had a complimentary breakfast and wifi. The staff is very friendly and made checking in and out easier. They also were courteous and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. I felt that the rooms were a little outdated and could have been a little cleaner. They were by no means dirty but I felt there was some upgrading or refreshing needed.
King size bed on top floor with a great view of the river. Clean bathroom, etc. The area is a little sketchy at times so I would advise travelers to be aware of their surroundings.
When one of my coaches got suddenly sick, the staff was so helpful in getting her her own room and when I called the desk with little to no voice the offer of tea with honey was especially sweet.
The room was pretty standard, nothing like what some of the past Courtyard hotels have been. Everything was fine, nothing special. Staff was great. What you advertise as a 'restaurant' is nothing more than a Starbuck's concession. If I'd realized that I would have not bothered with breakfast.

Just the location The appearance, the entrance to the hotel didn't lock. The hotel is renovating so 65% of the room were left open and dark. I will not be going back to this hotel.
The staff was courteous, the rooms were very clean, and the location was central to a variety of attractions. It's suited my needs and my budget extremely well. The room had a bad smell upon entering, so we were forced to use body spray to freshen it up until we could get room deodorizer from the housekeeping staff. Also, the pillows were small and hard, so I would recommend bringing your own if possible. Other than that, I had absolutely no complaints about the room, the staff, or the amenities.

Restaurant with an excellent reputation located on the first floor Didn't get to eat at the restaurant because one my one night's stay- it wasn't opened on Sunday. Plenty of other options nearby...so not really a problem
The hotel was very peaceful and romantic. I would recommend the hotel to everyone. the history of the hotel is also very interesting. We enjoyed the relaxing experience.
The huge canopy bed in the suite was so comfy, we didn't want to wake up! The place was full of history & antiques; it was beautifully & tastefully decorated. We were warmly welcomed & esp found Julia to be an incredible hostess. We will definitely be back!! The handicapped entrance could've been better lit at nite & easier to access. Perhaps a chair could be set up along this entrance so someone using a cane/walker could sit for a moment before continuing...
The Manager is an absolute delight and very helpful!!! The facility is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in the center of Simsbury. Some wear and tear is beginning to show (e.g. edges of the doors to the rooms and bathrooms).

Everything was wet great but me and my girlfriend noticed a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. So bad that we kept flushing the toilet and eventually had to close the bathroom door because we were unable to sleep.

When my mom and I arrived, we learned that we had booked a smoking room ( this was not specified on Kayak). We both have severe allergies and asked if we could change rooms. The clerk said it would be an additional $30.00. She went to the manager and the manager upgraded our room at no cost and gave us free breakfast!! The staff were do helpful and the room was beautiful!!
one night stay ...it was ok They did not have a restaurant on the premises and the breakfast was so busy you could hardly get near the food ,we ended up leaving and going out to breakfast..
In town for 35th reunion at EHS. Very convenient location, with supporting restaurants and shopping nearby. Room was spacious and clean. Nice breakfast selection as well. Priced fairly high, although it seems that most in the area were a bit higher than expected.
Friendliest staff on earth. Well designed floorplan, well decorated, excellent security, week day braeakfast to die for. Weekend breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. 'Kids Free' has attracts sports competition-minded families with money to invade each weekend, causing running the halls all night, shouting, forget pool and hot tub, unruly and unsupervised while mom and dad booze it up in the breakfast room leaving the pre-teens to disturb everyone. Many people complained.
The room was ready when we got there, and the morning staff was very professional. Sticky bathroom floor, lack of non smoking rooms, evening staff were not accommodating.
Everything except my wife getting locked in the room when the door lock failed!!!!!!! The Door lock that Failed, trapping my wife in the room. I am a mechanical engineer, and had all the Hotel staff trying to figure out how to get my wife out of our room, they had no way to get her out. they called the manager or whoever, and I, with their permission broke down the door of the room to get her out!!!!!!, The staff was helpful but had no idea how to get her out. I let them know how to break down the door, with minimum damage. Thank god there wasn't a fire or other emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice and clean room and facilities. Desk associate very rude. This is a terrible way to treat guests. And your company cannot expect to have customers return when the desk associate behaves with such an awful attitude toward the customers.

After all the hassle I was subjected to upon check in I was not happy with muc. The second room ceiling eas cracked and the ceiling pait was falling inoff in small chips. I was so exhausted that I didnt notice it till the next day. Requuested another room but was told thry were sold out. they emailed my recirpt upon check and much to my surprise the hotel had charged me for my stay even though it was prepaid. I filed dispute with American Express. I contacted Hilton and they are investigating it. The hotel was a C+ quality. But in springfield MA you have only have 3 options, the Marriot wich was a C and the Sheraton wich was also a C based on my prior stay. I reconnend never booking through Rent a Room Now.com. I also would not stay at the Hilton again. Its one step up from a motel 6.
