The best Red Lion I have ever stayed at!!!! Everything!!!
The only thing I liked was the pricess That was not clean enough. Specially the bed.
Good breakfast Rooms and service were below standard.
Hotel was updated Location, hallways were dirty, there was a coat from previous visitor in our room on floor made me wonder if room was even cleaned before we checked in!!
The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept better in this hotel than I have in many others. The walls are a little thin and the Internet didn't connect for us.
Clean room, plenty of space, very quiet, good continental breakfast, and friendly staff. The wireless internet they offer was useless. It couldn't load anything.
Clean and quiet. Outdated saggy carpet.
The facility was very clean both inside and out. Quiet location away from the freeway.
Staff was very friendly. Paid way to much thru Kayak....if I had booked thru the hotels website I would have paid $40 less. When I called kayaks customer service I got the run around about rates changing from day to day. I booked hotel on the same day we checked in, so rates wouldn't have changed. When I pointed this out I was given the same verbatim response. Felt like he was reading it from a card..... Will not use kayak again.
Staff was friendly Horrible hotel. Way overpriced. We walked into the room and there was burns and stains all over the carpet, graffiti scratched in the air conditioner/heater. Furniture was all falling apart. Looked like it was from the early 90's. Walked into the bathroom and towel rack was all busted up and graffiti all over the back of the door. We come back after exploring Seattle and there is NO parking spots they were all taken up from they're airport parking. (Both nights) Bunch of people walking around there that were really sketchy. Horrible hotel will never stay there again.
Good location! Modernization
Nothing. Took an hour for the guy at the front desk to find one of the two reservations. Instead of apologizing and saying that he couldn't find it, he insisted that I had only made one reservation even though he saw the confirmation emails. He was the rudest most condescending person I have ever spoken with. The rooms were dirty. The "breakfast" was coffee and bread.
I liked how big the rooms were & the set up of the room & I defiantly liked the location because it's nice & close to the freeway entrances & close to the des Moines marina. I didn't like the tv because it was really small & really old & basically just a piece of junk & basically I would like it if they could update the hole room. Don't get me wrong I like the rooms overall but they could use some updating.
If you don't want to pay 100+ for a one night stay then stay here. Bed was really comfy The adress to this motel was wrong so it lead us to a different motel. They need to update the adress so others don't get confused like we did. Parking was smaller and crowded and barely and spots left for guests. Lady who gave us a key had to switch us to a different room cause the key would open the door 3 times. The area is very sketchywoke up to couples fighting and its on a busy road so it's pretty loud
Room was clean and comfy st Staff, I had the most horrible customer service. Never going back there thank you
The young lady at the front desk tried to help but couldn't. But she was very sweet. I couldn't log onto the internet and I have never had that problem before ( numerous trips ). The AC did not properly cool the room. I normally sleep in sweats in a hotel room because you never know what might happen- ended up sleeping in a t shirt and undies- not good. The hotel rents parking spots to people who don't like paying airport fees- so the parking lot was crowded and the spots were very narrow- there's nothing good about squeezing out of your vehicle and then trying to get suitcases between tight vehicles up into your room. If I had a newer vehicle with no existing scratches- it would have made me crazy.
Nothing!! This was a horrible hotel. It was filthy. There were hairs from the past guest in the bed and tub. We had to take the bed apart so we could fix the frame so the bed wouldnt bang every time we moved. The carpet was sticky. The chair arms were filthy. JUST GROSS all the way around!!
Its a cheap hotel, but clean, and comfortable. Awful location. Loud. Someone tried to break into the room next to ours. Got really crazy. Slept very little.
Not too small, great location, great price Carpet needs to be replaced. Newer furniture needed
Nothing at all It was a lot of mildew, bad area lots of weirdos roaming, and u can't have any guest which is so stupid when u pay 70 a night for a dump
It was better than what I expected. I was very impressed. I would definitely stay again. Staff friendly, clean, and easy to find. I was very thankful for them to be so flexible I didn't like how there were to many amenities
Very easy walk to the Washington State Fairgrounds. Friendly staff. Good value.
It was close to the event I was attending. Rooms were extremely outdated, stains on furniture, and the shower leaked. The out-the-front-wall A/C was loud, and there was no extra amenities in the room such as a hair dryer or ironing board. With some refreshing and a few upgrades this could be a great little motel. Also, muffins, croissants, and some pastries shouldn't really count as a continental breakfast.
Never got my money back
This hotel is fine. It's basically what you'd expect from a $60 hotel. Bathroom is fine. I think people knock it because it's been retro fitted for ADA which makes the layout very open. Wifi is decent for simple stuff. Note there are two networks depending on which building you're staying. Location is one outskirts of town, beds are good enough. Staff was polite and of course Charlies should be your plan for breakfast ☺ Towels were a little thin but whatever Has the PNW mustyness, if you're from here you know what I mean, if you're not then realize that this is a rainforest and its hard to keep this smell out of carpeted rooms. This isn't a knock on the hotel. When I lived here I remember this being problem everwhere
Front desk was incredibly helpful and the Mexican restaurant was great!
I like the location, close to the mountains and quick access to trails On Mt. Peak. For being located in what I thought was a small, quiet town this place was scary. The person who checked us in looked like he had been involved with gangs. Big jewelry on a male, tattoos, backwards baseball cap and teeth that looked like they had been subjected to drugs. I Hesitated giving him my credit card. Our toilet didn't flush and when my husband opened the top to try and fix it, he reported seeing black mold. My parents stayed in a room down the hall from us. They like sleeping with their window open - but unfortunately this meant that they had to listen to karaoke well into the night. When we arrived back at the hotel after a wedding, there was a large group of people in the courtyard. It was late and they were loud.
Clean comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and helpful with local information.
Nothing We will not stay there again, way to much money for a dirty run down room that the heat did not even work most of the time, the bathroom was disgusting and the bedding was so scratchy and uncomfortable.
Nothing to like, except maybe the price. Hotel room had many problems and repairs that need to be done: Bathroom door knob had been push clear through the wall and not repaired. Not enough lighting. The lights in the middle of the two beds wouldn't work and were very loose. Freezer in the refrigerator obviously had not been thawed out for a very long time - it was all ice except enough room to maybe put a sandwich. The closet rod in the bathroom didn't have any coat hangers. The telephone was set on a chair because it wouldn't reach the table. There was a 6" rip in the bed comforter. The complimentary breakfast was coffee only and the bagged muffins were very small. THE WORSE MOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN!!!!!!!
Desk person was friendly, and it was right next to where I needed to be. Bed was fine. There was hair on the shower wall, several strands tangled together. And then after Id already started to dry off, I realized many long hairs (waaaayyyy longer than my buzz cut) stuck in the towel. Unfolding another towel I found that one the same. Gross!

Spacious bargain within easy driving distance to Seattle. Minor: Dated carpeting and furniture.
Nothing it was nasty. The front desk did nothing to make the situation not so bad. Stains everywhere. Flies in the room. Paying for non smoking but having to stay in smoking.
There were dead bugs on the beds, mold on the toilet, a weird smell to the room, stains of unknown origin on the carpet, and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a month. The beds were obviously very well used as they were bent out of shape.
The friendliness of the staff, and cleanliness of the rooms No
The central location was great and convenience to area attractions was a definite plus! The traffic, but they couldn't be blamed for that! Lol
Clean when you walked into the room you knew they scrubbed everything. the size of the room and furniture made it like a mini suite. Friendly staff made sure we have coffee maker etc... there are government bases near by and heard planes till around 10:00 then became quiet didn't cause a problem just beware
Comfortable, friendly staff, clean. No
didn't like the room at all the water pressure sucked in the shower there was a musky smell in the room and bathroom there were ants in our room and there were on our bed after we got done taking our showers went to check out they didn't bother giving my money back
Nice staff at night. Clean rooms. Bathroom cleaner left in the tube that my 2 year old touched and rude management.
Staff team were nice None smoking area with smoking ash trays outside doors. Smokers would sit by our window. Smoke and snell would seep into our room.
They were able to move my reservation check in to earlier. Thanks Lakewood inn !! no coffee for maker in room
Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. We were not familiar with the area and they gave us directions to wherever we needed to go!
The beds we're very comfortable. They had hot water no matter what time of day or night. The one and only thing I had a complain about was how far away the ice machine was from my room.
I liked the rate - very cheap, but the rooms were clean and no problems whatsoever. Bed very comfortable. Only thing missing was coffee in the room - you had to go to the office and they ran out of creamer. Otherwise, it was fine. THe location was a lttle scary, but we had no problems. Would probably stay there again.
Very easy to find, very clean and quiet, front desk staff was refreshingly polite and friendly and answered all my questions. The cable worked on all channels and the wifi was rather zippy, a rarity for hotel free wifi :-) Their sign from the main road is hard to read from a distance so I had to find the place by process of elimination vs. reading it from further up the street. May pose a problem for older visitors and people with less than ideal vision at night.

Staff was cheerful, and eager to please. One of the best in recent memory. Was originally apprehensive about being in Korea part of town but it was peaceful and my original fears were unwarranted. I will definitely stay there again.
Location No comforter, no dishes, pots or pans, no cups. Was assigned a room that was uncleaned and still occupied.
Location was ideal for staying close to our Camp Murray jobsite.
It's cozy, and quite Nothing wrong
