Staff pleasant and clean rooms. Advertised breakfast little more than coffee and packaged danish. Orange juice not tasty at all.

Pros (+) They made an error with the booking and apologized and gave us a discount. Staff were friendly. We liked that it was pet friendly.
Cons (-) We called to ask for an early check in and they said no which was fine, but they said they wouldn’t have it ready by check in time either, so we had better wait a while and come later. Although we thought that was odd and had to change our plans, we found something to do and arrived an hour after check in. We got there and they only had smoking rooms left when we reserved a non smoking room. We su...

Pros (+) The bed was comfortable and the large room with one bed, made for plenty of extra space. The hardwood flooring and bright colors gave a modern feel to the room. Plenty of pillows on bed too!
Cons (-) The bathroom was out dated and the bathtub needed to be replaced with a newer, cleaner shower/tub. There needed to be more towels available and also, there was no fridge, microwave, or anything else needed for extended stay.

Pros (+) Hard to beat this location just a short drive from downtown Asheville. Room was relatively clean though stayed somewhat damp. The pool was clean.
Cons (-) The bathroom door didn't close fully. The bed was uncomfortably stiff. The air conditioner did not remove humidity. The room did not come with shampoo / conditioner. We requested an additional blanket, which they said they were out of. The cleaning service came and swept, but didn't make the bed.

Pros (+) Cheap with good access to the highway and not far from downtown. Cheapest rates around.
Cons (-) No refrigerator, have to pay for wi-fi, no hair dryer, no shampoo just bar soap, towels threadbare, right next to train tracks.

Pros (+) Nothing at all. The staff was rude, short, and very unhelpful. They cancelled my reservation because I was "a local." They also still charged my card.
Cons (-) I will never attempt to stay there again and I will actively encourage people to avoid this hotel.
