It is on the outskirts of Downtown Asheville, but it is very easy to walk to everything. There are quite a bit of homeless people around the area, but that comes with the downtown atmosphere unfortunatly

Cons (-) Room was too basic, no fridge, no extra sink, ceiling in bathroom was extremely, oddly low.

Pros (+) Everything but the traffic noise.
Cons (-) Better ask for a room on the other side of the building from I-240, or you will be (not so gently) serenaded to traffic noise all night long!

Pros (+) Enjoyed our stay for a weekend getaway to Asheville! We loved the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the variety of the continental breakfast and the proximity to downtown. The highlight was definitely sunset on their rooftop Montford bar.
Cons (-) However, the cost of the room was overpriced for our stay and we didn’t appreciate the hidden cost of paying for $16 daily parking (not included), the fact that the pool windows are not tinted (located on the first floor) and there was no tub only a standing shower in our room.

Cons (-) $16.00 per day parking charge. Rooms on highway side are loud (we learned that and chose a room on the other side).

Cons (-) The booking process through hotels.com didn't work!!! I paid and said I had a confirmation and did t so I paid again when I got there just to get a room. I had to call three times and over 1.5 hours to get a credit that may take 15 days to be credited back to me. RIDICULOUS

Cons (-) charged for parking, had to move rooms because the remote control blinds wouldn't work.

Cons (-) Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 9 pm. Housekeeping walked in our room without knocking at 8:30 AM while we were not dressed. Then housekeeping knocked on our door again at 9:45 AM and again at 11 AM, prior to our 12 PM checkout. I spoke to the front desk and she offered me a free cup of coffee. There was already free coffee in the room. I would have much preferred to actually have had pri...
