Pros:Staff was helpful, friendly ad efficient. Car was ready and we were able to get on the road quickly. Car was well maintained.
Cons:Always nice when the price can be a little better.
Pros:The drop off was very efficient
Cons:It took quite a few minutes at pick up; not sure if they weren't expecting as many customers at that time or just didn't have enough staff. Took about 30 mins to get our car.
Cons:We had to cancel upon our arrival because they didn't have the vehicle we needed and reserved. We had to find another car rental option on the spot which was challenging. We are very disappointed in this entire experience. We will not use Kayak or Thrifty again. The site can't be trusted traveling internationally.
Pros:I didn't like the car we were given and not enough buses to shuttle everyone to the car hire depot. Took nearly 2 hours to get our hire car. Good drop off

Pros:THRIFTY are attempting to charge Kayak customers SEVERAL TIMES THE CAR RENTAL CHARGE PLUS FIVE THOUSAND CHARGE ON CREDIT CARD. Is this due to THRIFTY loss of The RyanAir business in recent months? There appears to be a Link.
Cons:THRIFTY CAR RENTAL REFUSED TO HONOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT AFTER been PAID almost 150 EURO for an eight day rental. When I Arrived at the Rental counter THRIFTY first attempted to give a small car, INSTEAD OF THE RESERVED STANDARD SIZE VEHICLE. Then THRIFTY tried to charge an ADDITIONAL insurance 420Euro Four Hundred and Twenty Euro PLUS AN ADDITIONAL FIVE THOUSAND EURO ON MY CREDIT CARD!!! THRIFTY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. THRIFTY ACCORDING TO THRIFTY COUNTER STAFF IN DUBLIN Airport have recently lost the Business of Car Rental to Tourists attached to the RYANAIR APP. There appears to be a direct Con nection between this loss And THRIFTY CAR RENTAL ATTEMPTS to have New Kayak Customers pay MANY TIMES OVER THE ADVERTISED CAR RENTAL COST. This is I believe a FRAUD
Totally misleading, quoted $125 for the car then pushed us to take a bigger car and wouldn’t accept the insurance we already had. Total got to almost $1,000 after they added their insurance. Cancelled and went with Budget. Got a very nice car with insurance for $600. Stay far away!
Cons:I arrived at the Thifty rental counter in Dublin and they told me that they were going to put a $6,000.00 hold on my card because I declined the insurance for the car. I never take the additional insurance. The original cost for the 2 day rental was $58. When they added the insurance it would have been $178. The rental agreement was for $58 total. No mention of the increased charges. Not an honest transaction.

Pros:Courtesy. Cost of rental which I believe was competitive. Also the drop off at terminal 2 was a godsend. rather than the quite impossible return off the M50

Pros:Well, we had a car.
Cons:hertz/Dollar/Thrifty are all together in Ireland. We rented through Thrify and had a massive wait. The Hertz line went far more quickly. It was extremely disorganized. The person helping us couldn't find the key to our car. There was such a backlog of people trying to get cars that it seemed that the employees were hoarding keys. Our insurance didn't cover the car in Ireland, and our credit card didn't either. The cost of full insurance was more than that of the rental. The car was a mess. One of the rims was held on by a tie, and an attachment came off. There were a million scrapes on the car. We were too tired getting off the plane to inspect the car, so the joke every time the light hit the car differently and showed new damage was "at least we have full insurance."
