The only issue was I wasn't aware that there wouldn't be anyone at the counter at drop-off. I was lost as far as the return process and an airport security guard had to assist me. This rental saved us when we missed our flight and needed a quick affordable way home. Budget saved the day! No complaints!

The supervisor Juan was great knowledgeable and very helpful. The other lady [ at the enterprise station] gave us a down graded car without informing us, she kept pointing to a suv and told us that was our car. We rented car, not a suv. After trying to start the suv with the key she gave us, we realized we were in the wrong car. We rented an Audi q4 ended up with an Audi q3 without being informed. We ended up taking the q3 back and the supervisor issued us the suv.

Pros:

I liked the option with Payless to pick up the car on airport property vs. needing to shuttle to another location. Returning the car was simple and easy, which was appreciated.

Cons:

The staff was friendly at pick up, but we had to wait in line in the garage to get the keys for much longer than one would expect. A parking garage is not the safest of places to try to wrangle a toddler who has been stuck on a plane for several hours. When we got to the car, the vehicle wasn’t as clean inside or out as one would reasonably expect either. Despite paying more for a mid-size SUV to comfortably fit our standard sized car seat that easily fits in a similar mid-size SUV, it took quite a bit of effort to get the seat installed due to it being a tight fit and then not the most comfortable ride for the driver who had to scoot the seat closer to the steering wheel than preferred.

Car was dirty inside and out, had 40k miles on it, oil change came on mid trip, outside was all scratched up on all sides, no attendee or exit gate to report scratches, you just exit the airport and then you are on the road, the most we have e we had to pay for such a poorly maintained rental car

Zero customer service through dollar and kayak both. Basically got screwed out of my rental. So I paid for nothing. Crazy this was my third rental in two weeks through kayak and have many more to rent but will never use your services again

Our flight in was delayed and when we got to the dollar rental. Everybody was gone when I called the night manager. He simply said sorry. You'll have to come back tomorrow. So basically they stranded us at the airport in Tulsa. Luckily, enterprise stepped up to the plate, and did a fantastic job of taking Care of our Needs. And making us feel like they really cared. We won't be back to the dollar. Also, my wife rented this through the kayak app. The scheduling between flight times and return times on the rental were completely mismatched. You had us turning the car in at 12 noon. Our flight wasn't till 630, so it seems like the whole thing was a gimmick to begin with where you guys are trying to get us to spend more money to extend the rental in the first place. I don't think we're gonna be back to the kayak app. Either.

Worst rental car experience ever! Reserved car 3 months in advance, arrived in Tulsa to find no cars available. They claimed a conference in Tulsa had "slammed" them. I think if they would read the local papers they would know when conferences were occurring in their area. After an hour we finally got a vehicle which had not been cleaned or serviced. Someone had a dog or other pet in the car and the fur got on everything we wore. There were incredible stains on both front seats; I don't even want to imagine what happened there. The front of the car was bug splattered and had paint peeling off the hood. Ours was a 6 day road trip and we quickly found that one tire had a slow leak and we had to stop periodically to air it up. Then the Check Engine light came on and off and we just crossed our fingers that the car would continue operating. I will never use Avis again even if I pay more to use another company. Horrible.

The return process in Stillwater is a mess. It took 20 minutes with an inept employee who couldn’t find the reservation and then had a bad attitude. They can’t provide any receipt at the location that the car has been returned in good working order so I’m forced to take an awkward video of the employee saying it’s in good working order and returned.

The counter in both the airport and the parking garage were closed. Had to go to the Hertz counter where the employee seems very put out to have to do the work and the price was $40 more than I was told on Kayak. Will not go through 3rd party rentals anymore…the number of emails from one transaction GEEZ 🙄

made a reservation came in. They told me to go to the main desk after I walked into the parking lot and there was no one there so then I had to walk back and it took me about an hour and a half to get no results I ended up canceling and going with anotherprovider because they didn’t have any cars ready.

The location inside the airport was closed, so we had to walk far to the parking garage and then to Hertz. It had been a rough day with flying and Danny wasn’t helpful. He was slow at everything, a line was building up and the other employees weren’t jumping on a computer to help. Danny asked if I wanted the toll option and I said no, he didn’t like my answer and wanted to confirm, and I kind of snapped. He needed to turn on his hearing aid and listen and read the room. Just the way he handled situations wasn’t the best. I had used a debit card to pay online but then when we were at the little kiosk, he was a little snarky about debit cards and so I was like would you prefer a credit card and he was all giddy and said yes, so I used my debit card. Everyone had been trying to get home and our flight was diverted and a lot of flights were cancelled. Danny should’ve read the room and not acted the way he did. He shouldn’t have kept asking after I said no. Someone else should’ve been on a computer to get things going faster. The car was ok, good price, but not as comfortable as I expected.
