Pros: There is much to be said about this hotel but I will try summarize in a few words. The hotel management and staff simply strive to deliver the perfect experience for their customers. More so than any other hotel I've been to by a big margin.
Cons: Nothing negative to be said.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location is great lots of facilities in the hotel and around clean private beach beautiful music in the evening
Cons: is it worth five stars? in my opinion no. I didn't have a 5* experience. for this kind of money i would go somewhere else unfortunately, because i had high hopes and they were not met in regards to service. all the facilities are wonderful but that's all. i am not going to write all the details of what i experienced since I was a solo traveller and maybe the service is different then but by all means, go and see for yourself :)

Pros: Good location. Beach in a very short stroll (50m) and main hub 1-2 minute walk. We purposely picked Trump to to be a little out of the hub and it was perfect. Pros: I like some of the staff they bugged about billing spent most of the time with them and my bank which ruined most of my stay they didn’t have a Wells Fargo in the island and they locked us out of our room until we came up with some form of payment thank hod I had cash on me which helped me out a lot. I understand they were doing their job but it’s just how they did it and the timing
Cons: Entering one way in and out and keys keep not working

6.0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect.I really liked the lagoon and the part of the pool that was working was nice.
Cons: The pool had WAY too many chemicals in it. My son complained of burning eyes and my hands reeked of chlorine after swimming.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has great pools and lots to do for kids. Also the staff were always very helpful and nice.
Cons: The dining options at the hotel were expensive and at times not worth the cost.

Cons: Nope there was nothing we didn't like
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very magical experience at Aulani and we had a wonderful time. Our room was a decent size for 4 people and we had a nice view of the mountains. While there were a lot of families on vacation there it never felt overwhelming. The staff was great!
Cons: The biggest issue is the price of food which was very expensive. We ate a lot off the premises and luckily there was an ABC grocery store across the street where we could buy snacks. The food options were best in the ULU café but everything else was pr
7.0 Good
Pros: For children, this place is amazing! The best part was Auntie’s Beach House, which is included with your stay. A wonderful place for your child to play and be safe while the parents are away.
Cons: You have to know what your getting into when staying at a Disney hotel. There are a lot of people who stay here from all over the world. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing hotel, this probably isn’t the place for you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great for the kids
Cons: Way way overpriced
5.0 Okay
Pros: The lazy river, pools and beach access were conveniently located. There is a scavenger hunt and Auntie's Beach House to keep the kids entertained.
Cons: The food options close early and the characters aren't doing too much walking around so you have to pay for the family dining experience to meet characters. The lifeguards are basically kids and if you have a problem, don't expect them to help too much.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Swimming pool were the best of all and all staffs at the pool were really friendly"........breakfast,lunch,and dinner were wonderfull
Cons: 1. Refrigerator build up ICE on back wall. 2. A/C was't working. 3. TV had only 2 channels, were out of service couple hours. 4. We were outside on the balcony and someone from upstairs dumped water onto our balcony and we got all wet. plus more things
9.0 Excellent
Pros: If you have young children, this hotel is perfect. Tons for the kids to do (water slides, lazy river, water play area, beach activities, multiple pools, kids club, etc.)
Cons: The worst part about the hotel was the food options. Too much theme park type food (burgers, chicken fingers, etc.) and not enough healthy food options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff, excellent service, clean room and accommodations. Really excellent experience!
Cons: Yes, $37 per day to park a rental car. We had 3 rental cars in our family group, so the parking fees were far too costly. The parking fee was the same price for self parking and for valet parking. There was no free parking on the hotel grounds.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms are very clean and get made up everyday. Awesome convenience store located in hotel lobby and the Honolulu coffee shop made my mornings complete.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Incredible technology in the room! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The decor is nice and the amenity kit is great.
Cons: The room wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t spotless either. We had to request items that were supposed to be part of our welcome package. Our room was not serviced until late afternoon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly kind and generous. The food at 100 Sails was delicious and we loved the happy hour. The view from the pool and the pool itself were outstanding! Also loved the gym!
Cons: We loved everything
7.9 Good
Pros: The rooms were lovely and view amazing. The staff were amazing and very helpful.
Cons: We didn't find the beds comfortable unfortunately and the Prince Waikiki club wasn't worth it. They didn't give us interconnecting rooms as promised so we had to go down a few levels and the food in the club was the same every day and not much variety.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The toilet paper! Absolutely everything about the hotel stay was A+++, so you'd think they would have better TP. It was rather thin, tore poorly, and was completely out-of-place next to that hi-tech toilet. A Charmin Extra Soft would be a massive upgrade. I definitely would stay here again (and again), but the TP was so bad I would bring my own. I know this is somewhat "picky", but for a hotel that is absolutely top of the line.......
4.2 Okay
Cons: No transparency on charges. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and credit card company - resort and other fees not fully disclosed. Scott Wallace
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, staff were really nice. We loved our stay at this hotel. Very clean and comfortable and we had incredible views in room 2508! They also gave us a champagne with a personalised label. Nice touch. Hopefully we'll be back one day!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for honeymoon and very thoughtfully we had a fortune to get an upgrade to one of its suite rooms and a welcome sparkling wine with a kind letter with our name printed. We were so touched and would like to appreciate such consideration. The room was incomparably clean and roomy, but most of all, we were stunned by the view it offered. I'll attach the photo of it. The location of the hotel was great. It is near by the center of the Waikiki. It is also right next to the Alamoana shopping center and the beach park. Could take nice and short stroll to the beaches and various shopping spots around. We mostly enjoyed beaches until the sunset, and went on shopping afterwards. The hotel also offer shuttle serves to crowded city center and free self parking option(included in resort fee). It was perfect spot for tourists like us who hired a vehicle for the entire journey.
Cons: The pool and the panorama from it was beautiful especially during the sunset. It was very impressive for the price. However, the infinite pool was so small that it was more like a huge bath tub, and because of the wind along the two towers, it quite windy and cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service and hotel is beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff
Cons: Beds are a bit soft. Not air conditioned coming out of room. Food options are limited in and near hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, parking, staff. Pool definitely.
Cons: A little bright to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleverly clean room, great breakfast (good for two). Great view of the marina and the ocean. Nice pool area too.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Amazing hotel.
Cons: The only bad thing was the service at the adult pool was very very slow. Each day we would order a drink and it would take 30 mins each time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The adult pool was a great touch and just the friendly staff :-)
Cons: I did wish it had a solid beach but that shortcoming is made up with the staff and the rest of the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place has it all. Wonderful, kind staff, super facilities, great views, big rooms, I can’t even put them all in written form, way too many good things about this place!

Pros: Ticks every box as a well located boutique Waikiki hotel.
Cons: -
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location, nice, small boutique style hotel. Room was a good size. Staff friendly and polite.
Cons: Asked for a quiet room and was put on the 4th floor, which was SUPER noisy due to noise from the bar, and street. Complained the next day and was luckily moved up to the 9th floor, which was MUCH better on noise. Was a little frustrating as had specifically asked for a quieter room - the room on the 9th floor had been unoccupied the night before also, so not sure why we were relegated to the 4th floor, even tho we had requested a quieter room. Also had specified that we were 3 people staying, and in spite of this, we had to ring reception to get bedding for the day bed for my daughter. Just simple things like nothing those details, do make a difference.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing. Really relaxed modern feel. Staff were lovely. Had a bit of an issue with our door/electronic keys. They moved us to another room and were really helpful
10.0 Excellent

Cons: It isnt on the beach but I didnt care about that for this trip.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: amazing hotel and enjoyed every second!!! Beautiful rooms and gorgeous inside.
Cons: The only thing i could fault on this stay was the in room tea and coffee facilities - they didn’t exist. For the price i was paying per night ( we even upgraded ) i would have expected more.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Did not eat at the hotel during the stay. Hotel location was fine.
Cons: The room location and the noise level due to music from somewhere being played outside when trying to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The resort fees.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfast menu was delicious and the coffee was the best we had while in the US. The complimentary gift basket was a lovely touch in the room on arrival. Towels were provided for use at the pool and down at the beach and the cold treats and icy drinking water by the pool were great.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary shaved ice
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: View
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great; free chocolate is great, and the bar is so cute! Plus the location is ace for waikiki or for catching a ride to the airport.
Cons: The room and the pool felt a bit like the design was great to start but they suffered over time—not a huge deal though.

Pros: Free breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What's not to like. Helpful staff, clean rooms, nice little gym, and free breakfast. And it's not in Waikiki, so there's no traffic.
Cons: Parking can be an issue because it is shared with a mall and a gym but free parking makes it work, compared to $25 to $45 parking a night in town.
9.0 Excellent

Pros: Location was good - STAFF were excellent, very happy and friendly, can't praise them enough. Breakfast was very good. Bed Comfortable, nice coffee machines in the room. Also the Air con worked :) Coffee station was a lovely touch
Cons: Not enough parking for the number of guests. Either more light or more shade required by the pool, couldm't sunbathe nor sit in the shade. (Pool was lovely though!) Prefer not to have single use plastics in the breakfast area, knifes, forks etc will be going dirrectly to landfill. More eco friendly would be to wash plates and utensils.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Free parking, 24/7 coffee, cleanliness, easy access to mall and restaurants.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, beautiful place with lots of activities option for everyone. The front desk was so kind to accommodate us with late check-out so that we can enjoy the scheduled activity that ended after check-out time. We saw turtles many times in the bay nearby!
Cons: 1. Towels and linens could be refreshed to a new, softer set. Also there were 1-2 pieces of towel that had damp smell. 2. Would be nice to have a list of operating hours for all restaurants and activities so that we can refer to them by ourselves when making plans, without having to ask the concierge every time.
7.7 Good
Pros: Ocean views
Cons: The hotel made me feel they used every opportunity to add costs to my stay like a $ 48/ day activities fee, $ 15/ day self park fee, etc. Quality of the restaurants was average.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious. The resort was very busy but you never felt crowded or busy.
Cons: I thought that most things like bike hire, car parking etc..... could have been in on the price especially as we then have to pay an extra resort fee on top of what you are already paying.

8.5 Excellent
Cons: They could not/would not give us a lock off unit when our plans changed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The convenience of having a good amount of things on-site was pleasant, even if my wallet disagrees. The staff was pleasant, and the amenities/property were clean & well maintained. There are a good number of activities onsite, so you are never bored.
Cons: I did not like the high prices of the restaurants around the property. Also, the distance to the town for alternative restaurants/grocery stores wasa minimum if 3 miles, which required either a car or a shuttle, both of which required additional spending. For the large amount of money the resort charges for almost everything, the least they could do is provide a shuttle to the town of Kapolei. The high price if convenience left my wallet feeling fleeced.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location is great for me when I work in Campbell.
Cons: It's a mediocre extended stay hotel in a beautiful location where everything is crazy overpriced me done halfway to normal standards... to be fair, 95%of the hotels on Oahu are this way m, I've stayed at 30+ hotels.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities for families with children. Beautiful private beach and enclosed lagoon. Restaurants are close by.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Accommodations were great. Location is picturesque. If you plan to go, try to be there for the FIA FIA Luau on Tuesday evenings. Really amazing dinner show.
Cons: No children’s club unlike other locations—though many activities planned each day.

Pros: n/a
Cons: We did not get the ocean view room we paid for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice lagoon beach
Cons: Most pools shaded
7.4 Good
Pros: Location, cabana service, gym. One server at chuck's and Oscar at longboards
Cons: Very difficult to get housekeeping, poor communication with resort operator and pressure to be out exactly at the checkout time.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Beauty of the place
Cons: Pricy without any deals
8.5 Excellent
Pros: We originally looked at staying at the Disney hotel but we're able to get a much better deal using Marriott points here. We were glad we did as we actually preferred the setting of this hotel. It is on its own lagoon just like Disney and had multiple pools for the kids that seemed just as fun. We liked how the grounds felt much more open to the beach vs. Disney where you could barely tell you were on the beach from the pools and restaurants. We were able to watch whales breaching right from the pool bar while the kids swam. You are an easy stroll along a paved boardwalk from Disney so can still visit the hotel and restaurants there. The daily list of activities with something almost every hour is a lot of fun. There are free DVD rentals in multiple places around the grounds. Our unit had 2 separate bedrooms as well as living room and kitchen. Lots of space for large or extended family.
Cons: View from our room wasn't great. Could see a Marina somewhat, but mostly looked over parking garage. Hotel is maintained well, but definitely starting to get dated in the rooms. This isn't a huge deal as all the common areas are updated and we didn't spend much time in the room but this is one area where I think Disney would have an edge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities. Nice rooms and views. Quiet and relaxing area of the island.
Cons: Just a nitpick, but the tv was a little dim. Made it hard too see movies (since they had on site DVD rental)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of our favorite Marriott properties. We have been coming here for four years and it is always like coming home! The staff is perfect in every way and they continually seek to make our stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. The lagoons, pools, activities and services are the best. Our two favorite things...everything is always nice and pristine and no surprises! That's three! I could go on and on.
Cons: We have to go home!

Cons: All was amazing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a beautiful property with excellent amenities. Right on the beach and far enough back from the road to avoid most traffic noise. The bed was excellent and the bathroom clean, spacious and well laid out. There are shops in the lower lobby for essentials and clothes and a hair salon. Wonder hotel and staff were helpful and friendly
Cons: I’m not sure of the difference between a partial ocean view which I booked and the ocean view which I paid for an upgrade for. Check in, which is wonderful with a drink and cold towel can take a while if you are at the back of a line waiting to check in
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, free events, shared pool at the Sheraton Waikiki for kids.
Cons: There's construction going on next door at the Sheraton Waikiki and a water main broke and we were told the hotel would lose pressure around 12-4am which was not a problem for us since we were sleeping. Overall, would stay here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
7.0 Good
Pros: Very easy and quickly move to beach from this hotel
Cons: very noisy from next room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location was great. Hotel staff was outstanding
Cons: Pool area was small
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a real treat to stay at the Pink Palace. We stayed in the new tower and I liked how it restricted the public from the space - the rest of the resort is a tourist attraction so there is little privacy. It was lovely to have complimentary drinks in the evenings and coffee in the mornings, thank you. I also liked having an ice machine on our floor. The Frette robes in the room were divine.
Cons: The pool closed at 6pm which seemed ridiculous and we felt the staff were complacent and a bit sassy. I think that the staff that work with the guests only versus the staff that work with the public who visit and use the resort have different service standards. It was disappointing as a guest to be treated poorly because your staff are exhausted by serving the general public. There was no table service at the beach umbrellas yet we paid $45 USD to use the chairs on the beach. We had to go and get our own food and drinks through the day which was not typical of a 5 star resort. By the pool, a large number of chairs and umbrella spaces are reserved which was also disappointing as there were never enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff where amazing really wonderful, went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Rooms were as described, they were larger than most rooms. Loved my stay, highly recommend the Royal Hawaiian.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Best location on Waikiki. View amazing. It's the Royal Hawaiian so you need to stay here once in your life. The public areas and gardens are beautiful and Mai Tai bar is one of my favourite places to go.
Cons: I have stayed at a few different places. I think for what you pay the rooms need a renovation. I stayed in the tower and there are stains on the walls and to room is looking tired. I paid extra for modern renovated room, and I didn't get one. The club breakfast was really bad. If I go back I'll try the traditional rooms as the tower isn't 5 star luxury.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was right on the beach.
Cons: The service was not very good, our room went uncleaned for serveral days, everything was beyond expensive, nothing was complimentary, our room was quite small and simple for a 5 star resort.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is beautiful and staff were really friendly..
Cons: The room AC was not working. I called twice for someone to fix it and no one came. We had to get ready for an event and were sweating. My husband and I couldn't get comfortable and couldn't sleep.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The old Hawaii feel. I grew up in Honolulu in the mid 1950s.
Cons: The Mai Tai Bar is too modern now.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel in Waikiki and next to the Royal Hawaiian Center.
Cons: Hotel entrance was hard to find coming in from HNL with Shared Ride. We ended up walking in from the back of the hotel by the beach and the pool rolling our suitcases.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It's in best locations, but the shower didn't have fan ,so when you take shower it is very hot an uncomfortable. Not worth the money I paid.
Cons: Staff are not friendly, the hotel is old , no fan in shower. Not body wash for first couple days. I don't recommend it.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location
Cons: When I booked room I was given the price. When I received bill the price was higher. When I inquired why they said prices went up after I had booked the room. I just don’t think u should tell someone what they are being charged then change price at time of charge without saying anything otherwise when u state the charge u should say price is subject to change.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff went upove and beyond for us and were always so helpful. Great location for both bub and us! Only think that would make this a 10/10 would be a deeper pool so we could swim around a little more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness was second to none. Staff wee friendly and concierge service was efficient and planned our itinerary flawlessly!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything. Modern and spacious room with super comfy bed.
Cons: Amenity fee was excessive especially since we didn't use any of these amenities which should already be included in the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and very helpful. They truly accentuated the Aloha spirit. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located in Waikiki near the new International Marketplace with lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from.
Cons: The pool is 18” deep. So it’s not meant for swimming.

Pros: Great location, very nice rooms, friendly staff.
Cons: My room had a view of approximately an acre of HVAC equipment.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: location is very convenient to either shipping mall, tons of restaurants or nice beach.

Pros: Great condo and would definitely stay again. My only suggestion would be to put in better lighting in the bedrooms and bathrooms. They were extremely dark. The closets could use some lighting as well.
Cons: See above
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, beach chairs, wolf and Sub-Zero appliances
Cons: Smelled mildew, pots&pans from Target, bed too soft, sink didn’t drain, dryer did not get clothes fully dry, wine cooler broken and did not cool wine, bar stools and sofa VERY uncomfortable. Would not stay in unit 414 again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The condo was perfect. Clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Pools are great and a nice bar by the beach.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff is very nice , check in was easy
Cons: No coffee
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was impeccable: from the amazing views throughout the day to the pristine waters to the not too crowded beaches on the calm waters of the lagoons to the wonderful amenities in the apartment. Add to all of this the seamless check in and checkout process.
Cons: If you want a place in the middle of the action or beaches with waves, then this is not for you or my recommendation is that you rent a car: enjoy the beautiful quiet beaches during the day and then make the 44 minutes drive to Honolulu for some action at night or the one hour drive to the North shore for some waves. For my family, it was so much worth it!

6.0 Good
Pros: The pool bar was decent
Cons: The view sucked, the breakfast buffet was way overpriced, the beds weren't that great, the bathroom was super cramped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was fantastic! Loved the bed and beddings. Bathroom was clean and has bidets. The infinity pool was beautiful and we ate twice in the bar near the pool. Food was delicious. The location of this resort for walking to beach, shops and restaurant.
Cons: The bathrooms are tight. 2 people cannot be in inside at the same time. Sink hardware is pretty but creates water issues all over counter when you wash hands. Our AC went out and our first room had shower only. Our second room had bath/shower combo which I preferred. I'm not sure why they were different but was glad we moved.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cost was competitive.Parking was assessible
Cons: Ownership was not connected with the hotel. This was not stated well on the website. There was not a good selection of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel/condo.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were nice and pool was awesome
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, view, ABC story in the bulding, towels availability
Cons: Strong smell from the restaurant downstairs, expensive parking for guests, the balcony was never cleaned (before and during our stay (a plastic cup and a cigarette butt had stayed before we arrived and survived a week), very tiny washroom for the class of the hotel)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. My view of the ocean was unmatched.
Cons: Cleaning staff was a little lacking. Our room and right outside the room had an interesting smell. Was a little unappealing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location when you check-in great atmosphere the rules were just OK they look nothing like the lobby looks like they spent most of the money in the lobby had a couple of issues with staff members But overall my family and I had a great time
Cons: The roofer just OK if you members of the staff need to look up the word Aloha so they could know what it means
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness Location
Cons: Average anonymous hotel I could have been in Vegas by looking at the hotel
6.0 Good
Pros: Location was great. Nice amenities on property.
Cons: Over priced and daily parking fee.
6.0 Good
Pros: location and bedding
Cons: internet super slow severely overpriced ridiculous resort fee
5.8 Okay
Pros: Located in front of the beach, and very close to the bus stop.
Cons: ・One of female Japanese staff who had checked me in was so rude and impolite. No respectful attitude when communicating with guests. Sounds like she is grumpy. I am so surprised, uncomfortable and disappointed. I work for a five-star+ international hotel, but I've never shown such a rude attitude to our guests. ・Even though I had asked in advance to prepare bathrobe and slippers in my room, they just replied "call guest service when you need". I confirmed in advance that my room can have both amenities foc. Why the hotel can't prepare them when they get my room ready? ・When male guest service staff brought the bathrobe and slippers to my room, he opened the door of my room WITHOUT knocking the door. Was it kind of surprise www? I ready hope he will be properly trained how he should do as a guest service staff.
7.1 Good
Pros: The bedroom was both comfortable and clean. The balcony view was great. The extra (club) amenities are great. The cleaning staff was friendly and responsive to our needs for maintaining room.
Cons: The booking didn't match what the hotel provided. Was required to pay additional fee to match the posted description. Ocean view and Plus ocean view same description But different prices. Many events on site that interfere with use of guest of pool and lounge. Too include increasing the the outside noise heard from balcony. The front desk failed to be responsive to customers needs until our 3rd trip to desk and speaking with 3 different desk clerks. Had to remind them of club access.
