The friendly staff and how they helped me with a booking problem that was my fault only. They went above and beyond what they were required to do on their part. The room was just perfect for myself while in Walcott the toilet had a #2 stain in it but one flush elimanated that still rate the room as excelent.
The price was really good. Woman at the front desk for check in was nice. Ice machine was out of order, but you can get ice at the front desk. Breakfast doesn't have a lot of options, you can always eat at the truck stop though. TV only had 3 or 4 channels come in, the rest didn't come in clear or just didn't work at all.
The hotel Blackhawk is a fabulous place to stay. I travel to NYC frequently and stay in some of the best hotels in the country. Hands down Blackhawk is top tier quality. Quality salmon in the Resturant. I highly recommend! Orange juice in fridge is small. other than that everything was awesome
Beautiful, clean room, lovely staff. Jazz at Jazz Brunch is a bit too loud for a Sunday morning, but that's the only thing I could ever imagine complaining about.
Friendly staff and decent selection at breakfast. Room location was good. The heater in the room sounded like a freight train when it starts up. Also hot tub was not hot enough.
On the phone they said they would be flexible with check in and check out times. Once I was there the staff wanted to charge me for three nights even though I would only be staying for a 36 hour period. Place is also kinda dingy.
Room clean and neat. Comfortable bed with good AC supply and windows open for fresh air if needed. Not premium furnishings but certainly all functional and in good repair. Breakfast is all carbs except for hard boiled eggs. Coffee needs an upgrade. Not a big issue since we had breakfast off property.
The wireless didn't work. The desk attendant said, "let me see if I can reboot the router". Apparently over the 19 hours that I was there he/they didn't have a chance to get to it. At 2 or 3 am, I heard what sounded like a vacuum cleaner. I went back to sleep after a few minutes. The wireless experience had already lowered my already low expectations for the hotel. I understand I'm not getting a really nice hotel room. So I'm looking for clean, not smelly and working wireless. Actually working wireless can come first. But I didn't get it.
everything was dirty. walls, floors, rooms. I didn't feel clean til I left
The staff was nice. The breakfast was basic but good for my kids. I LOVED that they are pet friendly and don't charge you to have your pet stay! We have 2 great danes; so that is a huge plus! The room was a basic hotel room with a fridge, microwave and tv. Overall a nice place to stay for the money. The location is not close to any of our family but that is something we can deal with. There is one stain on the carpet past the elevator on the first floor that I notice every time we stay.
The room was clean. bathroom spotless. Bed was nice. Breakfast ends a 9:00 am. I'm a night owl so I missed it. Ice machine on our floor did not work.
Clean rooms priced right good breakfast A little off the beaten path
Arcetechture Copper banisters Great staircases Amazing skylight It wasn't clear how much parking was during my stay. The positives of the hotel out weighed it though.
Staff was nice and courteous upon check-in. It was as if a chemical bomb had gone off, or a Lysol production facility had a leak. The mushy bed and thermostat that was either stuck at 90 degrees or turned off, didn't help. It will be along time, or another situation where there just isn't a choice, before I stay in a Radisson again.
Good value for the price. The dining options are convenient and pretty good. Breakfast buffet was work the $8.
The location was great for our needs. We went there to see Antique Archeology and it was a 15 minute drive, the just a few minutes into Davenport, which was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean except for some large stains on the bedroom floor. The shower was clean and large, but not a very powerful showerhead. I was not impressed with the restaurant, particularly the buffet. Food was not good. It was suppose to be a seafood bonanza and did not see a lot of seafood. And what was there was cold and chewy. Not worth the $18 per person price tag. The bar in the casino did not know how to make a good mix drink, ie. martini. Charged me big prices for basically a shot of gin.
Beautiful hotel. Good variety of games Long walk from hotel to casino. Deli was not in a convenient spot and not well advertised.
Best value for the money that I have ever experienced. The location was cozy, friendly, and very attentive. Very clean, with a fresh appeal; plenty of room to move around, a nice sofa to lounge on in the room, and a HD TV to watch. The staff was friendly without being intrusive, the Bistro was charming and well priced, overall a great stay that was the best bang for the buck that I have had. I can think of nothing negative to say about the hotel.
The facility was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. N/A
Everything was fabulous!!!
Modern look, nice staff, clean room Parking was limited
That I had a marriot option in the area I was staying. The lobby is new and my room was quiet. Rooms need updating and beds not comfortable
Room and lobby decor Rooms on the I-74 side of the hotel are noisy - you can hear every vehicle pass by.
I like the retro modern look to the rooms.
The bed was great. The room was clean and comfortable. There was barely enough water pressure in the shower to just bathe. My wife took 1/2 hour just trying to rinse her hair out.
Cleanliness. Extremely friendly staff. Great breakfast. Love the new updates to the lobby, breakfast area and new carpet! Pool area was clean. Beds were clean. Fourth floor water pressure to shower was not very strong. one bed was great(seemed newer) and the other bed was very worn.
Great location and price (through Kayak of course). Friendly staff, ok breakfast. Harsh daylight color temperature CFL lighting in the room. Blue light before sleeping makes sleep more difficult. Warm color temperature=warm feelings. Everything looks worse in daylight, that's why bars don't use fluorescent lights. Think about it.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff members were very nice The TVs were too small and the breakfast could have some more variety
The staff was so helpful and kind. Everyone had a smile and we're ready to greet you! Our room was so hot and the outlets didn't work in the room.
The staff are great and helpful. The room was very clean and well tended. The facilities are pretty tired and beat up although very clean. The bed was good but the awkward shaped pillows were strange.
Blinds didn't close, so there was a streetlight shining in all night. Rooms were dirty and humid to the point the sheets were damp. Old dated rooms that smelled musty. Worth about half the rate I paid.
Not much pool dirty and cold, rooms pretty worn out, bath tub pealing, floor corners dirty, holes in sheets, blood on sheets, TV analog only, free breakfast not worth it, cold hot water, under cooked waffles, old apples.
Clean, nice close to freeway None all good
The linens on bed were soft and the bed was very comfortable.
Close but not too close to I 80 and The Machine Shed was terrific home cooking just across the interstate.
The facility was nice and the furnishings were up-dated. The housekeeping was sloppy....sunflower seed shells were on the floor next to the bed on the first room. The second room we were given has an empty candy wrapper on the nightstand. The flooring in the elevator needs to be replaced.
There were rooms available!!! Very nice hotel!! Lots of fussy car people (some sort if special car thing going in). Some took up more than 1 parking spot. Check in was a wait!
Have stayed there many times..Always yop quality
Close to the interstate. It was very clean and comfortable.
Relatively clean and new Located adjoining two busy truckstops. Non stop diesel engine noise.
Great Motel for the price

This is a great place to stay. Very nice staff.
Considering room quality and level of staff service, this is money well spent. Breakfast is also as good as it gets for being complimentary.
It is company policy to only offer feather pillows (don't know if real or synthetic). If someone is allergic you are out of luck! They offered to bring up a blanket to use as a pillow and brought up a comforter. Also, no one ever came in to make the bed or replace the tissues in the bathroom. Good breakfast though!
Clean Rooms, comfortable beds, although the room could have used some updating. We were a little disappointed in the breakfast options but overall a good value for the money.
This place must be a little newer, as our GPS could not find the exact address, but when we called to get details on how to find the place, the staff were very friendly. The place is cute and incredibly clean. I missed it that they have an indoor pool, darn it, or we would have brought our swimsuits! The room was clean, the place was quiet, and the free breakfast was a bit more than we expected--better than your typical free breakfast. Really, there is nothing to complain about. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice, clean, quiet, safe, and inexpensive place to stay while you're in Davenport. There's even free Wi-Fi. Just bear in mind there is no fridge in the room for storing leftovers, etc. There is a microwave in the free breakfast area, though. A+ value!
We stayed here on a recent trip to Nebraska for a family reunion - the hotel was fine and pretty much what you would expect from a budget hotel. Our kids thought the place was great (kids think every place is great) and except for a billing snafu (they charged us even though we had already pre-paid online ) it was a clean, comfortable room.
The most negative thing I could say about this hotel is while I did get a price break it wasn't the most economical. Everything else was fantastic. Great staff, nice rooms, clean, nice pool area, great continental breakfast. I would definitely stay again.
Checked out - they put us in a smoking room, with double beds even though we had prepaid the reservation. We checked out the next morning. We will need a refund from you . We had them contact you. Most unsatisfactory.
A nicely decorated, clean place, with comfortable beds, convenient location, near major roads, but quiet. Nice pool, nice breakfast, friendly staff, very helpful, even called a plumber on Thanksgiving day to fix a leaking toilet. I recommend any Country Inn and Suites facility.
Very freindly, helpful staff. Pool was clean. Breakfast was simple but good.
PET FRIENDLY (even LARGE dogs) - Important to me. Clean hotel, friendly staff and convenient location. Rates are reasonable and they take my St. Bernard (most important).
Stayed w/husband, dad, and 2 grand-daughters. Very pleasant surroundings. Staff made sure we had everything we needed. Complimentary breakfast was great. Swimming pool was nice and kept very clean w/plenty of towels. While swimming w/grandchildren, desk staff brought in goggles for the children-- very nice for thinking of us. Thank-you. We would stay again.
This hotel was extremely clean and friendly. It ended up being about $20 cheaper than hotels of the same quality. We will make this our hotel of choice for the Davenport, Iowa.
Room was nice and clean. Only stayed one night for a concert. Was good priced and location was good. More variety for breakfast.
Great place to stay! An outdoor seating area would be nice for getting some fresh air.
Location. Great facility. Nice staff. Great breakfast.
Aside from the bed being "sleepable" there was nothing likeable about this place! The room was NOT clean, dirty rag hanging on the shower, headboard was dirty (I'll spare the details) and the carpet was crunchy. Was not informed of the pool, wirlpool being out of order and when all of these problems were mentioned to the staff nothing was done to remedy it!
The staff was super nice and accommodating. The room was awfully dirty, the stair wells had chunks of dirt. The pool room had large chunks of paint falling off the wall, the windows in the pool room were loose so it was freezing. The pool room was disastrous. There weren't blankets on the bed or in the room so we left.
It was quiet because there were not many people there. Definitely a case of you get what you pay for. I've stayed here before, but it's gone downhill in a few short years. Hotel was run down and dirty. Mold in the shower. Carpet was coming up in the room. Beds were old. Marks and scrapes in the hallway walls. Carpets stained in the hallways. Trash outside hotel door was overflowing and never emptied in 3 the days we were there and smelled bad. No fruit at breakfast and waffle batter seemed watered down. We wouldn't stay here again unless we heard it had been renovated.
Friendly staff and comfy bed. The parking was a bit confusing, but staff got us straight.
The Hotel is fine; Rooms are small, but well appointed, very comfortable beds; friendly staff. Skip the restaurant Bennigans, poor service, bad food - eat somewhere else!
Real nice room and bed. Very comfortable. Great location too. Just a short couple block walk to the river as well as 'The District' which is a nice strip of pubs.
This property is right in the heart of Rock Island, IL - which these days, isn't saying much. Rock Island is suffering mightily with the current economy and job market. Much of the downtown area is vacant buildings and store fronts. The parking lot for this hotel will handle about 10% of the total number guests cars, if the hotel is full - a public parking garage across the street handles all the overflow. If you have to stay in Rock Island, this hotel is serviceable, but nothing to write home about. The highlight of my stay there was a lunch at a small 'hole-in-the-wall' Mexican restaurant, a block away - food was excellent.
Hotel is located right downtown Rock Island, close to bridges and Rt 92. The rooms are a bit small, but nicely appointed. Bathrooms are quite nice, with Bath and Body Works amenities, coffe maker, frig and micro. Bennigans onsite has great food and the morning breakfast roomservice was quick and good. Great price and perfect location!
My family and I decided to stay at a hotel just to enjoy some time away and swim. We will never again choose this hotel. The room was dirty, the a/c heater unit was loud, the tv wouldnt work and when maintenance was called to try to fix it we were told 'sorry' he just didnt know how to fix it. I could here everyone out in the hall and in the next room.\n\nTerrible - one word.
Brand new hotel and casino. Forget about trying to get anything besides a basic room, they won't give you any other room in the hotel unless you're some big player type. For the price of the rooms, and the fact this is a brand new hotel I would expect much better. They have a steakhouse (overpriced for the quality of food), a buffet (food was cold) a deli (not bad), and some cafe (ok food and prices). When I stayed they were having problems with heating within the casino (had to wear a heavy coat INSIDE!). Has a club inside the casino with what I'm told are amateur acts from around the Quad Cities area. Do yourself a favor and go across the river to the Bettendorf casino.
WE CHOSE THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSE TO A LOT OF PLACES TO WALK TO OR JUST A SHORT DRIVE..
We had a good stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was good. Price decent. Swimming pool was very nice.
The shower curtain had 5 holes and a stain on it. The one it was replaced with had a hole and a stain. The bathroom mirror was smudged. The room had an accumulation of dust. And there were spit stains on the underside of the faucet. The air unit would not blow cool air when placed on the lowest setting. It was 8 degrees F outside and I had the window open. \n \nServices Provided: \nIn the reference book provided for the room it list a humidifier as a guest requested item. After asking the front desk for one, the attendant gave a quizzical look and said they don't provide that. The air was so dry in the room it made for an uncomfortable stay. \n \nService Quality: \nHotel staff was unprofessional. When ordering room service they were unable to provide a total or wait time for the food. It took 3 phone calls to get the order charged correctly and to be given a grossly inaccurate delivery time of 45 minutes for the meal. When the girl delivered the food, I was expected to take the food off her cart and into the room while battling the spring-loaded door. \n \nHousekeeping did a poor performance of cleaning the room. The toilet was never cleaned during my 3-night stay. And neither was the faucet. All housekeeping issues were reported to the front desk and were never properly taken care of. \n
The hotel is convenient to restaurants in downtown Rock Island. The rooms are small but this hotel is quite old. The renovations are nice.
This place is modern and clean. We were super impressed with the friendly staff & bartenders, trendy art and furniture, and overall cleanliness. It was not what we expected for the money we spent - in a GOOD way! I would highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again.
Newness, very clean with outstanding food in restaurant.
