The hotel was situated in a very picturesque village. The proprietors were very friendly.I stayed for one night with a work colleauge as we were attending a conference in stratford upon avon the next day.I would definetly reccomend this inn. The room was extremely hot during the night , and unfortunately our room was located above the boiler, which kept me awake most of the night as the thermostat kicked in , this was the only negative point on the whole the inn was very good value for money and the food was all locally sourced and of good quality.
The staff were eager to please, very helpful and both polite and charming.
Friendly staff Roomm above kitchen to be avoided - noisy and extractor fan seemed to run all night.
The room was very comfortable The breakfast could be improved, too greasy.
The hotel is a cosy little treat away from the hustle and bustle
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Nice informal home to come back to after a day's sightseeing! Lovely, helpful staff at the Inn. Fabulous breakfast and very decent pub dinners. All in all, a great experience.
The location is brilliant and the village setting is just what you would want when trying to chill down from the office
courteous staff, good food, clean room it took three quarters of an hour each day to serve breakfast
It was a charming Inn close to Mary Arden's House so it was easy to just walk there and visit. The Bed was very hard.
the staff were very helpful and friendly and the 4 poster bed was very comfortable. I asked for a quiet room & this was provided. Their sticky toffee pudding was excellent. The menu was the same every night although the food was good it would have been nice to have more choice. The heating was broken & we were a bit cold due to the very cold & very wet weather at the time.
