Felix especially was very knowledgeable with bus schedules and Metros/trains leaving the area to go downtown NYC. Overall great time at this hotel. We forgot to bring bathing suits, don't forget that if you come!!

Pros: Friendly teen trying to do the best to satisfying us. Clean and excellent
Pros: Excellent Service with professional staff
Pros: For the amount of money to say here you'd think the tv would have worked. We chose this hotel because we wanted a luxurious stay in a plush setting. It wasn't any better than a Best Western. Breakfast was served till 10 am but we had to wait in line for 47 minutes to eat. No bagels or bread left when we finally got our eggs because it was almost 10:30! Really disappointed and wish we had looked for a Best Western.
Pros: Clean, roomy, acomodating and helpful staff
Cons: hideaway bed was unuseable due to hard ridges and bumps as well as troughs, had to share king with two daughters like sardines in a can. Air conditioning complicated and hard to use. Slow internet, plus it timed out after 24 hours (despite our having a 2 day stay).
Pros: Great staff
Easy TV hook up
Consider we only stayed in the cheaper room it felt very luxurious.
Would definitely use this chain again and reccomend.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointed (not the cooks) the quality of the hot food was airline coach. Only compliant.
Pros: Nice rooms and great location for bus into city
Cons: No coffee in lobby after 9 am , breakfast buffet seemed hurried and not enough to feed guests
Our all Suite Hotel features the Hyatt Grand Bed as well as a 42in HDTV in all rooms. Enjoy a glass of wine or an espresso at our bar and enjoy our 24hr food service menu in our Gallery Lobby. Complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet, featuring freshly prepared breakfast sandwiches, waffles, French toast, pancakes and steel cut oatmeal, available daily.
Pros: I was only there one night but I was very comfortable. When I needed questions answered the staff was cheerful and very helpful. Breakfast was great too.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Close to NJ Transit and PATH into NYC. Great diner nearby. Great breakfast in the lobby.
Cons: Only flaw was that it is on a flight path for planes taking off and leaving, so occasionally you hear a plane, but just once in a while. And not overly loud
Pros: We chose Hampton Riverwalk for its location, and it truly worked out exactly, and really, even better, than we expected! LOVED having the shuttle service from the airport, then each day to and from the Penn Station! Your drivers were Great, and made our nervousness about maneuvering through the Rapid Transit in New Jersey/New York, a good experience. Thank you!
Cons: Hotel was full when we arrived, so instead of double Queen beds they gave us King bed. When I asked for rollaway bed, they had none as well, so I had to sleep on a chair.
In the morning I spoke to manager who told me to open a HHonors account so that he can give me some points. I tried to contact him multiple times, but no response.
Nice way to treat your long time customers! Will go elsewhere next time.

Pros: Everyrhubg was great above average on all things.. Great service and room service food was beyond great..
Cons: One very rude women that was a clerk at the front desk about 3am in the morning needs to be fired. I don't want to give the hotel a bad review because of her. I asked about the shuttle and all were more than happy to call the bus driver. They said tell us when you are ready.. I walked outside and came back in and there was another clerk there. I said you can call the shuttle driver now please, I'm ready. She answered very ugly and rude sharp '' when I have time I will'' there were no customers at the desk. No reason that I should have been treated like that. I just thought to myself welcome to new jersey where all the rude selfish people in the world live and blew it off. But what needs to be realized is that people like this on staff there will cause this great hotel to lose customers.
Pros: Amazing location adjacent to terminals
Cons: Prices are similar to Midtown Manhattan
Pros: Hotel staff was nice, room was clean and not noisy.
Cons: Restaurant staff were terrible. Can't be described as nice which is in sharp contrast to the hotel staff
Pros: The rooms and staff were nice
Cons: The shuttle service was very poor. Understaffed shuttle service for people trying to make flights. If you are going to use mini-vans, you need to have more of them, or have bigger shuttles on stand-by.
Pros: They set up a pack and play and refrigerator. Huge win!
Cons: No bellman to bring our bags up. We had to push the luggage cart ourselves. The restaurant was initially rude when I asked to take food upstairs (to my husband and sleeping daughter). I was surprised that this was supposed to be "in" the airport but it still required a van to access. They will not direct you to a walking path. The van was included (nice) but the driver refused to go to the premier counter, leaving us to lugg baby and bags up multiple flights. Not as easy as for a solo business traveller
Pros: Great bed, nice room layout, very quiet and dark which was nice for sleeping. If you close the curtains you will not be able to tell you are essentially in an airport.
Cons: Restaurant was okay -- not bad, not great. A bit expensive for the quality.
Pros: Got in at midnight and still able to grab a quick bit in the restaurant/lounge! Staff was great and never made us feel rushed.
Pros: Lobby and restaurants remodeled.
You can walk to terminals but a shuttle is provided.
Best place you can stay when departing from EWR.
Pros: A shout-out to the Newark Airport Marriott for their excellent customer service. Having taken a red-eye and landing in Newark at 5:55 yesterday morning, we went straight to the Marriott, not necessarily to check in, but to have them be aware that we were there, because we knew we wouldn't be back to use it until around midnight. The night clerk decided just to check us in early, at 6:30 a.m. We never went to the room, but left for our day in NJ and NY (and Neal Gottlieb 's Survivor viewing party, which was attended by so many relatives and friends). When we returned to the Marriott just past midnight, we attempted to print our board passes for this morning. When that didn't work, the same night clerk offered to try during the night and have them for us in the morning. Great. We went to our assigned room, and when we opened the door, we saw it was a wreck. It had not been cleaned at all. So it was a trip back to our now favorite night clerk. After explaining the situation, a supervisor got involved. We received an apology, and an upgrade to an executive suite which included a full breakfast. Thank you, Marriott!
Pros: The bed was comfy and divine! Check out time was noon.
Cons: Service fell short. Shuttle took 40 minutes to arrive; I had to call twice. Massive plane delays brought me in at 3 a.m. and it was not fun waiting yet again. First room shown smelled to me of smoke; no problem about changing rooms. However, she said she would slip a new room key under the door while i could sleep (almost 4 a.m. by now) and she did not. It was easier to not leave the room when I woke (bc very tired) then to deal with trying to get a new key to my room when I would be checking out soon. I left hotel at 11:30ish a.m. without coffee but showered.
Pros: The place was very clean and nice, and very professional looking.
Cons: If you're not a posh business person, it isn't the best. We made the mistake of ordering Dominos to the room, and the hotel was obviously not very happy about "fast food" coming. First of all, they gave the delivery person a hard time and accused her of not really having customers here and being shady, before they finally called my room. Once I confirmed we had indeed ordered pizza, they wouldn't even let the delivery person come into the hotel, and I had to go outside to meet them.
Cons: Had to pay for computer access in business suite, no free TV channels…..everything was promotional.

Guests can stretch out after a long flight in our Newark airport hotel in the fitness center, and then enjoy American fare at the Aviation Grill. For events, there’s 27,000 square feet of renovated function space, including a magnificent grand ballroom.
Cons: The bathrooms were dirty
The entertainment the TV channels were limited The entertainment the TV channels were limited I know a whole whole no my girlfriend
Pros: People were friendly/front desk/ very clean
Cons: Cold water was not flowing in sink.
Pros: Right off the highway - but far enough away from traffic/noise. Close to convenience stores, NYC, shopping, busses.
Cons: only sheers/not curtains on 4th floor - so sun is GLARING in morning.
Pros: Easy to find, easy access on and off Rt 3, parking right next to the hotel. Room was clean and modern looking. AC worked well. Nice pool. My room was relatively sound-proof, there was a large group at the hotel and I heard very little noise. . All members of the staff were efficient and polite.
Cons: Long wait at the restaurant Saturday morning.
Pros: Went to Monster Truck Show at MetLife stadium and didn't want to travel the distance home after night show. The hotel was close by and easy to find.
Cons: One of reasons choose this hotel was for the view of the NYC skyline . The hotel was not nearly close to capaticty and was giving room with view of parking garage!!!!
Pros: Ease of commute to NYC and convenience of NJ shopping and Newark airport
Pros: It's clean and mostly modern looking
Cons: Wasn't making much noise, but got a noise complaint. Walls are way too thin to accommodate those who spend all that money just to sleep vs. those who wish to already have a conversation.
Pros: Staff was great. Had to switch rooms because of ac problem and they were all over it
Cons: AC wasn't working because coils were dirty. Maybe better preventative maintenance

Pros: Clean, large accomadation and great price. I will definitely stay here again.
Pros: Excellent customer service. Location was great. Price was decent.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable. I had difficulty sleeping on it.
There were no vending machines on the floors. I had to go down to the lobby to purchase beverages and they were very overpriced.

Pros: Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Nice looking building. Airport shuttle was quick, convenient and the driver for the hotel I stayed at was very nice (can't be said for the other Courtyard hotel driver for one of the other locations...).
Cons: Too many people partying in common areas/halls. Rude driver of airport shuttle for one of the Courtyard Marriott properties (not the driver for this location - but another locations driver who was at the airport at the same time); if you don't know which of the three Courtyard hotels you're going to hope you don't get the driver I did at first because he just yells at you. Bathroom and ceilings in room could use updating.

Pros: I liked the fact the hotel was close to a Mall and provided a shuttle and had a swimming pool with breakfast included.
Cons: The shuttle was terrible - supposed to run every 15 minutes but what they don't tell you is that one of the shuttles is reserved for airline employees of United and American and essentially, there is a shuttle every 30 minutes that is not supposed to stop at the terminals but it does it anyway. One of the drivers was supposed to pick me up from the nearby Mall and decided not to because he was running late, so I ended up running late for my flight and had to change it. Be very careful with these shuttles - they are quite unreliable.

Pros: The staff was awesome. Very friendly and very helpful, even when they were super busy! We had to lock something up behind the desk, had to ask for directions, etc, during our 5-night stay, and they were always very friendly. Really like the location across the street from the bus stop into Times Square, and the hot breakfast!
Cons: More biscuits and gravy for breakfast, please!
Pros: Location is good. Bus stop is near hotel and Manhattan too (15 minutes). Children not pay for bus on weekend.
Cons: Breakfast: egg is like artificial.

Pros: easily accessible to highways
Good, free breakfast
Clean room AND bathroom
Cons: Thought we could have a view of the water, instead we saw the bldgs
Pros: Really good sty at Comfort Suites. The front desk ladies and the shuttle driver were really helpful, courteous and really nice.
A few things that I want to mention:
1- I requested a corner room, of which I got. But, there was something wrong with the ceiling paneling in the bathroom and the actual panels in the ceiling flapped up and down during the my stay. It was a little annoying but bearable.
2- There was a long hair on the bedding under he shirts when I pulled back the covers. I wasn't grossed out but still, not a good look overall.
3- A huge plus was there was a balcony sliding door that opened and I was able to get a view of the city and fresh air. I really enjoyed that.
4- The bed was extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby,
Cons: In a room next to a party group that had loud music and talks until 5am. Called reception, they would send "security" to tell them to stop but nothing happened
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel, it is very reasonable price wise, staff is very pleasant I word reccomend this hotel to any and every one
Cons: There's nothing I disliked about this location, The only thing I did dislike was I didn't see public transportation that could take me to Newark Penn Station wanted to go to NYC via the Path train
Staff very nice at the check inn an out.
Hotel very quiet, not noise b good sleeping environment.
Pros: close to NYC except with traffic could be 1 hr
Cons: no working ice machines. no gym or pool.
Pros: Hotel didn't have our reservation. They were sold out

Pros: The pillows were amazing! Most comfortable pillows ever. Room clean, simple, functional, roomy. There's a shuttle that picks you up at airport and takes you to the airport.
Pros: Quiet. Beautiful
Cons: Roadway access is a little complicated.
Pros: Service was top-notch, from the concierge, the shuttle drivers, housekeeping, all staff was sincere in making your stay most comfortable, also generally seemed happy to work which makes for good vibes all around. Very convenient shuttle service to Newark airport. Pretty good breakfast.
Cons: No bar (kind of a drag for most adults), soda machines were not stocked and were also faulty, location is not the best since there's not much around but is close to the airport.
Pros: The room was spacy
Cons: The front desk put me on hold for 7 minutes, come back and ask to put me on hold again. I hung up. Front desk absent for 5-10 on check out at 450am. Front desk needs to be retrained
Pros: There is no noise from outside creeping in or from people in the hallways. The bed is very comfortable. The price is right.
Cons: Food selection at breakfast is very limited. No other meals are available at the property and it is inconvenient to find a restaurant nearby. Parking fees are high.
Pros: The staff , breakfast and pool
Cons: The location kinda tricky
Pros: Convenient shuttle to the airport
They provided me with take out menus for nearby delivery
I ordered delivery from a nearby Italian restaurant and they delivered it right to my hotel room door.
Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi
Cons: There is no bar or restaurant in this hotel you have to walk down a road where there is no sidewalk to get to the Courtyard Marriot which is a short walk but 2 doors down to get to the food and bar. Menu and bar is extremely small.
Pros: Overall the hotel was beautiful. The room was very spacious and neat. My stay was very pleasant.
Cons: The jacuzzi was out of order and the pool water appeared to be dirty. I didn't like that you have to pay for parking if you booked a room and that you only have 1 hour of free parking.
Pros: Everything, microwave and fridge were available without extra charge, relaxing atmosphere and i felt safe in the environment.
Cons: No dislikes here.
Pros: clean comfortable and roomy...really nice breakfast
Pros: Upon arrival we found a spacious room which was very clean and updated furniture with comfortable double beds. Microwave and mini fridge were included as well as free parking. The free breakfast was nothing fancy but was adequate and got the job done. I was happy to find my favorite Kashi cereal, but the coffee wasn't to my liking. Overall I would definitely book this room again.

Pros: Every staff I encountered had the same superb customer service. They were always attentive and address things fairly quickly. This was very refreshing.
Cons: The room tub was clogged, which made taking a shower uncomfortable as the water rose to our calves. Although maintenance came up to fix it, it happened again when the next person bathe. The following morning the sink was clogged almost overflowing. I'm pretty certain there must've been some plumbing issues, because it's highly unlikely for this to happen within hours. Besides the hotel restaurant, finding options to dine were very limited.
Pros: Friendly staff, convenient location
Cons: All good!
Pros: Access to everything
Cons: Fixures in the room needed maintenance
Pros: good overnight with early morning flight departure. Enjoyed lobby bar with good accompanying menu -- not a bad place to hang out and unwind. Staff was friendly and accomodating, keeping their cool during a substantive number o all-at-once check-ins.
Cons: Shuttle from airport terminal departs from the extreme end of the airport, which depending on your arrival
Pros: Room was clean and spacious.
Cons: Original parking lot wasn't working and had to park in the guest parking, which was completely packed. Only good thing was that instead of paying $20 for parking, I only paid $15 plus fees.
Ridiculous that we have to pay for parking, even with a room.
Pantry area was almost empty with no variety,
Cons: Not enough mirrors you couldn't chill wroth your friends because the walls are paper thin
Cons: For of all this app said that the Hilton had a spa and that was a lie !!! Also the indoor pool was dirty! The customer service was shitty. & to top it off we had to pay for parking which was $20.
Cons: Parking fees
Pros: Great location for use of Newark airport. Great staff!

Cons: Bathrooms could have been cleaned a bit better. Seemed to have hairs (not ours) in some areas.
Pros: Despite the fact that we were moved to another hotel without prior notice they ensured that all transportation and amenities were covered by them.
Cons: We were told that we were going to be switched out to another hotel the minute I checked in, despite the fact that I had confirmed my reservation the previous night with kayak and the hotel the day before.
Pros: Easy access to trains, Amtrak & PATH. Food was good. Service very good. Staff very good and nice. Very secure.
Cons: The room door was slightly off kilter so it made a lot of noise when shutting
Cons: No running water. Not advertised at the time of booking although they knew there was a scheduled outage for repairs. Had to check out, get reimbursed and go to another hotel upon learning that there was no running water at check in.
Pros: We enjoyed how large the rooms were for the price we paid. Also conveniently located next to Penn Station.
Pros: Comfortable bed nice staff
Cons: Needs to be renovated in areas
Pros: The bed was comfortable and stay was good.
Cons: Don't order order room service . The food was terrible.
Pros: I did like the access to the New Jersey Transit and airport. There are some resturants and shops in the building to pick up anything needed. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful to any questions we had.
Cons: I did not like a few things in our room, such as, no place to hang a hand towel, the sink counter was badly cracked with a poor fix job, and the hair dryer was very old and weak. It seemed as a left over from another guest. The safety is questionable. I was there with my husband and felt okay but we both felt uncomfortable at times. I would not recommend staying alone or walking the streets at night. If you are there to visit NYC, I highly recommend staying in the city over NJ. With the cost of transportation and time back and forth, you waste time and money.
Pros: Clean, very close to train station. Don't expect to check in before 3pm.
Cons: Breakfast in the restaurant was terrible. Got the corn beef hash... by far the worse I've ever had.... tremendously overpriced for the quality of food.
You will hear the honking from the traffic until approx. 10pm.
The area surrounding the hotel is not nice... I would recommend not walking around much.
Pros: It's quite convenient, although the area isn't great.
Cons: Staff was rude. They need to learn how to smile because their vibe was negative.

Pros: There was nothing to like it appears the place is a welfare people placed by Social Services elevators dirty not for business traveler
Cons: It is an overrated hotel interns of price and facilities, plumbing in my room was not working properly noisy leaky water , my bedspread had blood stains So I slept with no covers
Pros: Comfortable place to stay
Cons: CHECK-IN CLERK / SERVICE POOR
Pros: Everything. Hot tub was a special treat.
Cons: Limited chance for late checkout. Some rooms are subjected to background airport sounds.
Pros: Good beds and breakfast.
Cons: Poor wifi.
Cons: The attendant at the Front Desk Myron, could not have been more rude! As I came down to check out I simply said I am checking out and all he said was just drop your key. I then asked for a receipt and he fumbled through in a huff as if I was putting him out. He did not find my hotel receipt, just a beverage expense. I asked him for hotel receipt and he looked up in a huff again and said you don't get a receipt because you booked through something else so contact them.I simply asked you cannot print an actual receipt and he just responded NOPE. I then asked for a breakfast bag since it was before 6 AM. He simply huffed away and then handed it to me without saying anything. Beyond rude. I would have stayed there this week as I am coming back for work. I will certainly not at this point. No place for bad service in competitive service industry.
Cons: Bathroom was dirty
Cons: Charged an extra $10 to park in their dirty parking lot. Breakfast was understaffed with 100 people going for one chaffing dish. No service staff.
Room was ok. Only three pillows to save money. Out dated. Run down. Hazard tape across staircase.
Constantly waiting for the elevator in groups of20. All jamming in and people standing waiting for the next one. Ugh
Cons: the shuttle bus does not come very regularly. We waited between 1 am and 1:50 am at the P4 location at Newark airport. There is no phone at the picking up point to call them and ask them for pick up. We managed to call their phone using a regular line but still it took additional 40 minutes. We were also informed that between 2 and 4 am there is no service. This is despite the fact that the advertisement says 24 hours shuttle bus service.
Pros: Clean. Friendly staff
Pros: Everything was great. Nice breakfast with a hot selection every morning along with the usual waffles, toast, cereal, etc. I liked the strawberry topping and whipped cream for the waffles.
Cons: I had anticipated a sofa sleeper in the king room, and there wasn't one there...not a big deal.

Cons: Water pressure was low so the shower took more time than usual.
Pros: Always have enjoyed Hampton Inn's and this one was excellent, except Kayak didn't let me know ahead of time it was a smoking room.
Cons: Kayak signed me up for a smoking room and I didn't know anything about it. Next time Kayak, show me that its going to be a smoking room and I will look elsewhere.
Pros: Bathrooms and included breakfast were great!
Cons: Mattresses were squeaky and carpet needed cleaning
Pros: Staff were terrific, breakfast great, airport shuttle extremely helpful.
Cons: We checked in very late. When we finally got into our room (the keys worked only every 8th time or so) we were bowled over by an intense chemical smell. We tried to find an air freshener but couldn't. Called the front desk, housekeeping came. Turns out they spray some kind of God awful disinfectant before guests arrive. This is dangerous. I asked for a different room, but there was none. We were given a fan, which helped a little, but there's no fresh air coming in from anywhere. I had a headache the entire time we were there.
I've always loved Hampton Inn but this is unacceptable.
Pros: Very friendly staff and shuttle staff
Pros: Crowded breKfast. Ran out of food
Pros: Everyone was incredibly nice! Best Hampton Inn staff I've ever seen. Depesha is AWESOME!!!!
Cons: Property dated....needs a facelift
Pros: The shuttle from the airport was convenient. The staff friendly. The rooms clean and nice.
Cons: I got in very late and tried to sleep a bit later the next morning, but noise started at 720am and continued. I could hear everything from the room above and on either side. Surprisingly noisy. The next night I slept fine but left by 430am.
Pros: This was a overnight stop over to catch an early morning flight out of EWR. Got picked up by their courtesy van at EWR and the staff was helpful and polite. Courtesy van took us to EWR was timely.
Pros: Convenient to airport; shuttle service; friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Has a kind of run down, grimy look. Hall carpets were wrinkled and dirty looking, elevator was dirty, room looked like only essential areas like the bathroom were really cleaned.
Limited food options - I ordered Chinese delivered and it was the worst Chinese food I'd ever had. The only other choice would have been pizza/pasta, neither of which I eat.
Pros: Extremely helpful staff, from the shuttle drivers to the front desk to housekeeping. Very clean and comfortable.

Cons: Very thin wall. You can hear what your neighbor is doing.
Bathroom poorly made. After you take shower, it is wet everywhere.
Pros: I grew up living in Newark and I remember it being a bank many years ago. Very nice upgrade.
Cons: There no face towels in my bath when I jumped in the shower. That sucks.
Pros: I loved the style of the hotel and how clean it was and all of the updates it had and everything.
Cons: The only thing that turned me off was the staff. Although super nice they are SUPER lazy. I have gone to plenty of other hotels and when I ask for something they send someone up to the room with it. Nope not these people, he told me to come down to the desk and get it myself unless I wanted to wait a while. (I was also on the 11th floor and just got back from a 6 hour car ride, but I went down there anyway) overall I don't think this room was worth what I paid for especially because it is in such a bad area. There are plenty of other hotels that are just as clean and are cheaper.
Pros: The view was gorgeous and the room had some nice, high tech features. I enjoyed the clean style.
