Pros: We liked the comfortable room the pleasant staff the good food and the location xx
Pros: Dinner in the pub and size and comfort of the room
Cons: The hotel has little to do locally, need to be prepared to drive for up to an hour
Pros: The breakfasts were great. The evening meals were good.
Cons: No TV in room. More direct information on the brochure to inform guests what days of the week certain places were open in town as we arrived on a Tuesday and left on a Friday in September. Unfortunately the weather was raining or dizzily for most of our stay. We were unable to take advantage of some of the items offered.
Pros: We enjoyed the quiet accommodations and the peaceful, friendly village. The surrounding structures and we'll kept neighborhoods were striking.
Cons: There was nothing negative we can say. Our stay was comfortable and pleasurable.
Pros: The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The water in the shower was hot
Cons: The register in our room rattled loudly when the air was on
Pros: It is our happy place! BEAUTIFUL
Pros: I loved the location, the "old charm" of the place. The restaurant and better choice for breakfast would be good, but over all I liked my stay and would come back there again.
Cons: The restaurant could use some "lift".
Cons: The drinks were really short on what anyone would consider a decent "pour"
Cons: hotter coffee and hot water for tea
Pros: Cute small village stay. Room was comfortable and spacey. The food at the attached inn was excellent and breakfast was great as well. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Vermont!
Cons: Bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been

Pros: Beautiful setting.
Cons: There was nothing wrong with the property.
Pros: Cute, Cosy , clean,
Cons: Shower a little in need of some Reno
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The room was nice enough and clean. I also liked the mini fridge and microwave in the room and use of the grill in the yard.
Cons: The bathroom was older but clean.
Pros: Owners are very friendly and things are clean.
Cons: No continental breakfast.
Pros: The room was very cozy. The owner was friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about activities and dining in the area. The location was fantastic, only 1/2 mile from Magic Mountain and 2 miles from the center of Londonderry.
Pros: cozy and clean - cute decor touches - super nice hosts!
Cons: since there wasn't breakfast provided it would have been nice if there was someplace to eat in easy walking distance... but this obviously is not the hotels ability to fix.
Pros: staff was friendly
Pros: The location and ramp to get to the room. The shower stall for my situation was better than a tub. THE 60'S LOOK IS A GOOD IDEA AND IF RENOVATED WITH NEW MATERIAL WITH THE 60'S TYPE MATERIAL WILL MAKE IT TOP NOTCH PLACE TO STAY. WE LIKED THE HOSPITALITY AND CHARM. WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE UPGRADES THAT WILL BE THE 60`S LOOK BUT NEW MATERIALS BASED ON THE 601S . WILL MAKE IT IDEAL.
Cons: The spiders and the room needs to be renovated even if you want a 69's look which is fine, but it should be overhauled with materials, not the original worn out the tile that was there in the '60s. The first steps to the room and public area should be made more acceptable for handicap people. The room should have a handicap toilet and gab bars for THE TOILET AND SHOWER.
Pros: Very nice owners. Nice, peaceful location. Comfy bed.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: The hosts were wonderful! The place was great!
Pros: conveniently located
Cons: continental breakfast would have been nice.
Pros: Very clean bed was excellent.
Cons: Everything was excellent we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: I was visiting friends who live in the area and so the location was great for my needs. It appeared to be the best option in that part of the world and it was a great find.
Cons: Nothing. The host was pleasant, an excellent chef, good conversationalist, and very knowledgeable about the area.

Pros: Breakfast was tasty and the innkeeper was very friendly. He gave good recommendations for things to do and places to go. Also, the fact that the tavern was Eagles-themed was pretty cool.
Cons: It would have been nice if tavern hours were posted, or if there were refrigerators available during off-hours.
Pros: Staff was friendly. Room was clean.
Cons: Very Old! Had to use wide stairs to get to 2nd floor where the bannister was too close to the wall and hard to hold on. There was no shampoo or hair dryer in the room.
Pros: The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. There were 2 lounge areas, one with a woodstove, that were cozy. There was free WiFi and updated cable TV that we enjoyed in our room. The upstairs hallway had bookshelves with a large selection of books to borrow to read, would have enjoyed them if our stay had been longer. The full menu breakfast included in the cost of the room was delicious and very ample and served quickly. We ate dinner at the Inn and were happy we did, we enjoyed the German cuisine.
Cons: The Inn could definitely use updating and some repair. Very old fashioned and there was unrepaired ceiling water damage in our room.
Pros: Bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, inn keepers responded promptly to my email. Felt like I was staying at an older relative's house, which was a really sweet feeling. Breakfast atmosphere was so cheerful and really got our day off to a happy start! And the drinking water tasted good!
Pros: A wonderful made-to-order breakfast was included, and the manager was delightful.
Cons: The room and bathroom were past their prime, but not unexpected.
Pros: Homemade blueberry pancakes. Full menu selection, great cook. Great innkeeper personality!
Cons: Room a bit small for 2 doubles.
Pros: Family hotel. Really good
Pros: Extremely friendly staff and manager. Great setting, humorous decor, comfortable bed.
Cons: A little dated in decor, but comfortable
Pros: As advertised.
Pros: The innkeepers try very hard to polish this sneaker. The breakfast, included in the price, was really good, but the company if the innkeeper was even better.
Cons: Water stains on the ceiling, bees in the hallway, threadbare towels. BUT these folks may have inadvertently hit upon a brilliant marketing strategy. Guests can't steal the following items if they are not provided: shampoo, mini-fridge, telephone, clock-radio. Most of all the smell of the room was very off-putting.

Pros: Vince was extremely helpful and accepting of feedback. It was extremely hot and he went out of his way to bring us extra fans and even set them up!
Cons: No air conditioning
Pros: Good location, quiet, clear information at arrival
Cons: Room smelled like wet dog
Pros: A great location for my needs. The owner was attentive and generous. The lodge is well kept and attractive.
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: The hotel had only one or two rooms occupied during my stay. Despite this, the clerk allocated me a room on the second floor at the very end of a long corridor right next to an emergency exit. The room was so small there was not even space for a bedside table! The view from my window was of the emergencies deck at the rear of the property, despite the magnificent mountain vistas available to practically all other rooms! The bathroom beyond "minimal" - it was tiny, it had no tub and was so cramped there was no shelf or space room to place toiletries - the toilet tank served as a "shelf" for this purpose! Using the strangely-positioned toilet required a sideways approach due to the cramped bathroom layout. At this price point I did not expect Marriott standards but, considering this is off season in Vermont's ski country, one might have expected that a hospitality industry professional at the front desk would have, at least, allocated his solitary guest a room one the first floor (and avoid lugging baggage up a flight of stairs followed by a trek to the very end of the corridor!) In closing, the hotel commands some spectacular mountain views. Unfortunately, the live-in desk clerk/manager thoughtlessly allocated what has to be the smallest, gloomiest and most remote room in the hotel. At a time of year when there are few tourists, a little more consideration in selecting his guest's room location would have made what turned into a terribly uncomfortable stay into a delightful experience.
Pros: The general manager, Vince, takes service to the next level. Made sure all our needs were met and was a joy to converse with. We will be back!
Cons: Pillows we're too hard...but that's a personal thing.
Pros: Great staff, check in was a breeze. Location was good.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit on the dirty side, but not from dirt, just old and some area’s needed better cleaning.
Pros: Fantastic coffee.
Cons: No air conditioning.
Pros: Everyone was friendly, from the innkeeper to the housekeeping crew. The room was a nice comfortable size. We had an excellent stay!
Cons: I have zero complaints.
Pros: The deck was amazing. The beds were comfy. Room was quiet.
Cons: Overhead lighting didn't work. The air conditioner didn't work. There were 2 fans in the room. No fridge. Sink outside bathroom had no hot water. TV was really small. The muffins in the morning tasted like easy bake oven muffins.
Pros: Proximity to Magic Mountain skiing. While not relevant to this stay (I needed a place to crash after skiing solo), the layout of the room was perfect for returning with my wife and 4 year old (bunk beds in a separate room). Looks like a great place to bring our dog as well. (Other "pet friendly" places come across as "pet tolerable". This one is genuinely pet friendly.
Cons: Shower pressure/temperature varied quite a bit and had to constantly adjust. Could have used a small gift shop or vending machine (toothbrush/toothpaste).
With a stay at Magic View Motel in Londonderry, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Magic Mountain Ski Resort and Bromley Mountain Ski Resort. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Ms Barbara is very kind and friendly
Pros: Rugs on floor are dangerous. Too easy to trip. Bed very comfortable. Very good storage.
Cons: Rugs on floor
Pros: Very secluded- no one else therr!
Cons: We could not find a place to.eat nearby.
Pros: Barbra treated us like long lost friends. The was so clean and perfect for for my family of 4.
Cons: I can't think of one negative thing to say.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent and attended to our needs.
Cons: Not anything negative to report.
Pros: Proximity to Magic Mountain and Bromley.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, especially the shower.
Pros: Quaint, clean, well appointed. Comfy bed. Everything functioned well. Fluffy towels.
Cons: Bath a little small.
Pros: We stayed for two nights but would gladly have stayed longer. The room decor was inviting and warm. Gas fireplace was a surprise. The attention to detail and pride was very evident throughout the property. Room was super clean. Bath had nice touches. Towels were very fluffy. Comfortable beds. Several friends in adjacent rooms said the same thing. Just a great place to stay!
Cons: Shower stall was a little small.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. Room was small. Door to room did not lock properly. Driveway was not sanded or salted properly. My car slid down to the toad.
Pros: Beds were comfortable!
Pros: Everything, from the beautiful architecture, the warm reception from the welcoming, friendly staff, down to the unique views, is beyond exceptional. Each room has a different design with unique quirks. My stay was in the Cloud room, a wondetful personal balcony overlooking the pool and gardens with the jacuzzi was such a treat. Delicious breakfast every morning and the friendliest little dog Henry made it feel more like home. Bob and Steve run an amazing inn and I know that I'll definitely be back.
Cons: My stay wasn't longer.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast. At The Inn at Woodchuck Hill Farm guests are welcome to take advantage of a sauna. Pros: Wonderful house with beautiful surroundings, very friendly hosts, and the house is full of antique, interesting furniture and decoration. The breakfast is nice. The bed was comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: The owners were very nice. Loved the secluded location. Grafton was a very quiet and much needed "get away" from it all spot. My husband actually survived not having a TV for the weekend! Phelps Barn for dinner was excellent.
Cons: The barn suite was very cute and cozy. Only downfall was no comfortable seating to enjoy the fireplace. Just two antique wooden chairs and one fabric chair. The bed also had a worm (dead) in it when we turned down the sheets, but we recovered :) We (okay I) got past that because everything else was so enjoyable.
Pros: Friendly service and beautiful surroundings
Pros: We enjoyed the location, in the middle of the forest, not far from the small village
Cons: We did not like anything else except the location. We paid for a room with three beds. When we arrived, the beds were very dirty, with dead and live bugs inside. At the end, we had to spend the two nights in another room with only two beds for three people. Very uncomfortable, and cold. The breakfast was nothing special, and served just from 8 to 9 am, too early since we wanted to have some rest and relax in the morning. The landlord was impolite and nervous. In summary, very bad experience, I really don't suggest this place.
Pros: everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The house was really interesting, old with interesting features and knicknacks, clean and convenient.
Cons: It took us many attempts to find them it could be better signed.
Cons: The owner would not give us a key to our “suite” he said “oh it is safe around here.”
Pros: Mark was a charming and gracious host. He made us feel welcomed the minute we entered the Inn. The property is unusually quiet surrounded by beautiful wooded areas, hiking paths, and a pond. The Inn has a spacious outside deck with plenty of seating for enjoying the scenic views in addition to the comfortable living space inside.
Pros: The place was beyond our expectation, and the host was excellent... Mark and his wife were very friendly and always available to help at the house as well as providing adventure suggestions. The location of the house is on top of the hill - the view is priceless, and the atmosphere around the house very relaxing.... will be going there again.
Cons: I really can't find anything negative to say. It was our first time at this location, but we have done B&B or rented out a house for the weekend before, and this place was excellent. You have to keep in mind what expectations you will have, i.e. ultimate luxury with a variety of amenities? not this place.... but absolutely recommend it
