Pros: "I don’t know what Delta could have done better on this two leg flight from Albuqueque to Miami via Atlanta . Yes we were in First Class and it was a (groan) 6:05 AM flight which meant that we were probably on time. But Delta’s 737-900 (to Atlanta) was very comfortable, the crew did everything well and the breakfast was quite good. (Make sure you try the quiche). We had the same crew on the next leg to Miam, who were surprised and gave us a warm welcome. There were only snacks in 1st for that short segment, but they were all we wanted."

Cons: "flight was delayed two hours because they couldn't find a single American airlines employee to sign off on some log book.sat on tarmac two hours because no one could sign a piece of paper!!! so obviously we missed our connecting international flight to dublin. called american customer svc, they made us call british airways, british airways said we had to call kayak, kayak said we had to call American. thanks for all the great customer svc. this is why everyone hates flying and all airlines are garbage. then finally in chicago american customer svc desk said they rebooked us on a British airways flight the same night, we traversed (ran) the entire chicago ohare airport only to find out british airways said we were not on that flight, were completely full and we had to go back to american. literally had to leave airport to get on train to go back to american terminal. they swear we are now (the next day) on this aer lingus flight despite our inability since last night to try and check in to that flight because aer lingus website doesnt work, no one answers their customer service number and their ticket counter at airport doesnt open until noon. suffice it to say we are still not on a flight to Dublin, ive missed an entire day of a limited vacation, and i will NEVER fly american again."

I would think at a major airport like DFW where American Airlines has a hub, they would make sure to staff that longer. Just getting to keep my shoes on, while having to drag all my electronics and liquids out, take my coat and belt off, etc. is not acceptable. AA should put the pressure on DFW to treat their customers better!"

People were starving when breakfast was served. The thermostat fluctuated from horribly hot to freeing - for 14 hrs. The crew slammed things down on table trays, grumped, were giving harsh orders to patrons rather than gently directing them. These ladies do not enjoy their job. I am done with Delta. We were also an hour late taking off due to a door on a cargo hold not closing. I was embarrassed that our Aussie friends experienced this as their first American flight."

I continued to return till boarding to find out I had no seat and I was on standby. Upon going to customer service they replied the airline oversold tickets and every airline does this as if to make this practice ok. Well being in sales myself and if I were to sell x amount of product to one customer ( or several) I better make sure I have it all there to deliver. People rely on you schedule wise. It nearly shot a meeting I had to make in the foot. Very disappointed with the airline and the way things were handled."

Cons: "The third party agent, webjet.com, was horrible. American airlines contacted them several times about canceling the ABQ-ORD flight and they never responded. WEBJET.COM did not put their name on the electronic ticket so I was unaware of who to contact. Finnair was not particularly helpful. They discontinued my chat conversation and didn't have an option to call back so I had to wait for 20 minutes. American Airlines was impressively helpful. They figured out that WEBJET.COM had canceled one leg of our fight and AA.com reinstated the flight. American had also contacted WEBJET.COM numerous times and WEBJET.COM had never responded."

With a flight arriving this late in the evening with the low volume of bags checked (due to checked luggage charges), this should not be the case. Five minutes to gulp down ginger ale."

Cons: "With checking my luggage my bag fee was waived a total of seven times this trip because I'm a military wife to see my husband overseas who is serving a year in Saudi Arabi except this past time on October 2nd at DCA airport. Spoke with the Supervisor Ralph who stated it was against policy. How stringent is this policy if it was waived seven times previously? Policy needs to be reviewed with entire staff. I will no longer use American Airlines because their military convenience and policies no longer seem to favor the military. My husband also after speaking with him will also no longer use your airline including all his members he overseas when they return after their year tour."

I don't mind waiting in line but out of the 2.5 hours I waited in line about 30% of that time there was no attendant at the ticket counter, 50% of that time there was only one attendant who spent her time helping first class, and only 20% of the 2.5 hours I waited in line was there still only 2 attendants helping check people in. Because of this, I missed my flight."

Cons: "First, our flight was cancelled and they texted us with an alternative flight leaving a day later, with a 9 hour layover! Um, excuse me? Since this was a weekend trip we would have had to turn around and get back on a flight back to SF a few hours later. I called and they didn't even offer the option to refund the ticket! I finally got us on an alternative flight leaving earlier after waiting for 30 minutes to speak with a supervisor because the person I initially spoke with had no power to do anything to help. We ended up flying Alaska Airlines on the way there and I wish we had originally booked through them because the way back was AWFUL. They wouldn't seat my partner and I together because we were flying Economy class, which they reminded us of repeatedly when I complained. The agents claimed they had no power to do anything because of the computer system which randomly selects your seats. I asked what about people traveling with small children and they didn't seem to have an answer. Oh yeah, that's another thing. As if we got a better deal than with any other airline out there after all the bag fees. The Economy class/the majority of the people flying have no carry on allowance. By the way, when we got on the flight we were able to sit next to each other because the seats next to us weren't even occupied. Ridiculous. Never flying United again. I've been bumped off of flights and had bad experiences before but this was the last straw for me."

Pros: "United really could have done better informing us of delay, then cancellation. I knew it was likely to be delayed due to weather, and kept checking the status. It wasn't listed as delayed until nearly boarding time, although it seems pretty clear they knew well before that. But SFO was a star. The new decor is sophisticated and comfortable. Bathrooms were like at a swanky night club! Comfy chairs and charging outlets every where. The biggest hit was the Exploratorium installation, which kept my and plenty of other kids entertained!"
Cons: "Wayfinding signage from BART is confusing. BART connection is a pain. The machines in the station only take $1 and $5 bills-- no 20s or credit cards! And no one at BART cares if you are running late for a flight."

Cons: "Girl at gate was rude!!! After missing connecting because of Uniteds negligence, my brand new luggage first time used, zipper to main compartment was ripped half way out!! My clothes and stuff hanging out as its coming out baggage claim!!!!!! This was a nightmare"

Pros: "These days we can all admit flying is not what it used to be before 9/11. It's still professional and curtious, but the awareness and appreciation of passengers has dwindled. Stewards and stewardesses go through the motions and do just what they need to do not more. The pilots got the plane to its destination well within the time sometimes even a half an hour early. But sometimes being that early means sitting on the tarmac for 40 minutes which cut it close to missing my next flight. Flights used to offer blankets if passengers were cold. If the plane is not full they do allow passengers to move seats to be more comfortable. The complementary beverage is still always a nice touch but seconds aren't offered and cups are often taken before they're finished. It would be nice to see our country's airlines go back to a little more awareness and appreciation for one another, and work to improving their levels to above satisfactory. The flight was supposed to have entertainment viewable on personal devices but going through the app to select something was told this flight didn't have access. Overall it was satisfactory."

Cons: "Our flight got canceled due to airport issues at our destination. United canceled the flight but had no alternative flights to get us home. Flights the next day were full. Took over an hour with the service desk to reroute tickets to cancel them and to get bags back then took two hours at baggage claim to get the bags back. Customer service was basically useless. After all that, we didn't get any of our money back! I will be avoiding United airlines. Flight cancelation was not their fault but the way they handled the rest of it was embarrassing."

Pros: "My connecting flight was way late, but the plane was held for me and a few others in Denver. Because it was the last flight of the evening I don't know what I would have done if left at the airport indefinitely. I am grateful the plane was held. And regret any inconvenience this may have caused others."

Cons: "-Was a United flight despite being billed as Lufthansa, I always try and avoid United as I have had bad experiences in the past. -Was unable to choose seats online. -Upon check in was told that only middle seats were available for my partner and I away from each other even though we showed up 6 hours early in order to get good seats as we couldn't check in online. -We then paid extra to get seats next to each other (250 bucks) and the entertainment systems in those seats were broken. -When we told the flight attendant staff they said there was nothing they could do and were rude. -When trying to explain the situation to United Customer service they were also rude."

Pros: "The young lady who was the flight attendant was very nice and tried to make a very bad situation somewhat bearable. There were a number of children on the flight that she was very attentive to. I hope united treats their employees better than they treat their passengers."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for 4 hours. We were told to proceed to the United terminal in spite of the delay. There seemed to be no effort to inform or assist us. There was very little to do in this terminal but wait to see if our flight would eventually come. There were other United passengers in the terminal who were also waiting for overly delayed flights. eventually, we had a plane that was extremely small, cramped and uncomfortable. United seems to consistently oversell its seats and then tried to get people to give up their seats. Very poorly managed airline with bad customer service. Sadly, I have to say that I have never had an acceptable experience on a united flight. Will NOT take another United flight."

"The black flight attendant with braids is way out of line. She basically assaulted me by running into me like 3 times on purpose after I asked nicely to be moved due the large man in my isle. She told me no, the plane was empty So this should not have been an issue. She also started an issue with another passenger in a racist manner… also just a tip when a flight is empty spread people out a little bit specially during a pandemic. I will never fly frontier nor recommend it again because of that woman."

Pros: "The flight itself was a nice flight. The captain and first officer were communicative and the few times we experienced turbulence I felt like they immediately tried to minimize it. I had a good amount of room in my seat (I was not in an emergency exit row) and I had no problems with my luggage."
Cons: "There was a 2 hour delay to take off. When your flight is at 7am and you've woken up at 3:30 or 4 to get to the airport on time, it's a bit frustrating to wait an extra 2 hours to leave. The gate agents were woefully uninformed and when they did communicate with passengers it was vague and unhelpful. The gate agents kept referring to the need for "maintenance" on the aircraft. It doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence in the soundness of the plane to hear that the maintenance crew is trying to "fix something in the cockpit." The Departures monitors and my Kayak app were giving me delay updates before the gate agents were. At one point we switched gates (it was the gate directly across from the original gate) and I watched as passengers at one gate literally traded places with passengers at another gate because the flights had swapped gates. It was comical. Overall, just a disorganized, uninformative, frustrating mess."

Despite the fact that no one seemed to be aware of what was going on and making everyone with electronic passes wait an extra 30 minutes, my checked bag (which cost more than the flight) arrived with minimal damage and I’m still in one piece."

Cons: "The tickets look like a deal until they charge for every other thing. The information regarding what bag can be carried on without a fee is very confusing. We paid and then saw people rolling cases and putting them in the overhead bin. The seat prices are ridiculous so you don't want to pay for a seat they will assign you for free, I was then told I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment even though I had already purchased a ticket. I waited for almost an hour before someone showed up. I was told the only seats left were the exit rows. Luckily I am healthy. If I have paid for a ticket Frontier should guarantee me a seat. We had to wait in line even though we had already paid for our bags and some of us went on line and checked in and had boarding passes. Where is the short cut then?? It was so convoluted we will never fly Frontier again. Too much work, let me pay for the ticket and let me have a bag and give me a seat for crying out loud. The flight crew was great. Very nice."

Cons: "They gave our captain to an Atlanta flight. We had to wait for another captain to get to DIA. Then we got loaded up and had to wait for the east gate to open, then they had to map out another plan I.e., the northeast gate (and that didn't materialize) soooo we sat on the plane until we receive the okay to depart on "the east gate". Which was approximately 21:30. We finally arrived at approximately 01:00 a little more than hour late. It took better than 30 minutes for us to get our luggage. Stupid crazy that a person is paying ridiculous prices for pitiful customer service."

Cons: "$40 for a carry on? Come on now. $5 seat upcharge because "window seat"? Chairs that don't recline? You interrupt my already terrible nap so you can try to sell the entire plane your "no-black-outs" Mastercard. The cabin was much too hot, people complained and nothing was done -- adding insult to injury, water costs money. Every aspect of buying a ticket is littered with popups to upsell you to something "better" or more "exclusive". The entire experience from buying a ticket to touch-down was dehumanizing and an insult my intelligence."

Cons: "The plane was delayed an hour and a half because of a computer problem."

Pros: "I really did not feel any more crowded or uncomfortable than any other airplane Ive been on. I sort of like that the tray tables are the size of a large cell phone- less bulky than regular tray tables."
Cons: "The crew wasn't bad, just seemed unhappy to be there. There was some confusion with which gate we should be at, changed us three times before settling on the original gate. Boarding was no problem but then we waited without taking off for over 45 minutes. The pilot came over the intercom and informed us that he had no idea why we were delayed to take off, but that he would "find shortcuts" to get us there on time. The biggest gripe that we have is once we landed and went to baggage, several of us waited for golf clubs for close to an hour before a worker realized "they forgot" to turn on the button to allow oversized items to come out. Then she said "sorry I was busy with ticketing and Frontier doesn't have a baggage attendant". I just dont think the extra savings was quite worth the frustration."

We missed our flight because we arrived at the counter to check our bags past the cutoff time to be checked in by 1 minute (due to long lines). That was partially our fault but the representative who was helping us did absolutely nothing to help us problem solve and seemed almost pleased to tell us that she couldn't take our bags. I rarely see such bad customer service. I have heard that Frontier pays their staff very poorly compared to other airlines and I assume this is why the customer service reps are so jaded."

And then once my flight was canceled they were of no help on rescheduling my flight and were not able to find another frontier flight for four more days. Myself and others were left to reschedule our own flights without any repayment of the difference in ticket price. I will not fly this airline again I caution everyone else at the lack of customer support and professionalism ."

Pros: "Frontier has constant hidden charges. I flew to my destination using my Frontier phone app and when I went to fly back I was not able to submit on Frontier's boarding pass on my phone Frontier phone app. I had to use a computer which caused me to delay my boarding pass and the reason Frontier did not let me get my boarding pass on the phone app as Frontier wanted me to choose a seat and charge additional charges. I did not accept this choice and let Frontier choose my seat for no cost. Frontier needs to change to access your boarding pass on their phone app. I could see the boarding pass on the app after I went into a regular computer and kept saying "NO" to additional cost of baggage and seating cost. The Frontier airlines seats do not recline and are hard plastic seats and not comfortable. (I only weight 125 lbs) Also, during the flight I had to hear the commercial of Frontier credit card commercials over the loud speaker. I wanted to sleep not listen to commercials of their credit card. They charge for all food and drinks except water which is fine since it was only a 2 hour flight."

Cons: "My partner had a change of plans and cancelled her flight so Frontier could resell her seat. In the process the agent also erroneously cancelled my flight. I did not discover this until I arrived at the airport two hours from home. After an extremely frustrating 2+ hours on the phone with customer service I finally got to Edwin Watkins in the corporate office who made it right by paying for a flight on an alternate carrier. So a big shout-out to Mr. Watkins, but very poor grades for customer service prior to that who offered my non-solutions such as flying out the next day, or a full refund which would have then required me to pay astronomical last-minute airfares on a different carrier. Also frustrating was being told repeatedly that the agent would be back on the line in five minutes and then hearing nothing for 20 minutes or more. Like some other reviewers, I also was not aware of the fee for carry on baggage. I don't object to this approach to pricing, but I think it needs to be very explicit up front. Spirit Airlines uses a similar pricing model but they do a much better job making it all clear to the customer up front. Finally, I gather there are some seats that recline while most do not. I was right behind one of the reclining seats and felt pretty crowed. Presumably this would be less of an issue in rows with non-reclining seats in front."

Cons: "I understand that a lot of flights are charging for snacks and drinks these days and calling it a la carte (to make it sound fancy enough to justify the expense), but it is ridiculous to be expected to pay $3 for a bag of pretzels or a soda on a flight. Hiding that cost in the price of the ticket gives a MUCH better impression than being on the flight and waiting for the long-standing cherished ritual of accepting your meager snack, only to find that you have to pay $6 for it. Between this and the overall discomfort of the seats (they didn't recline, so I couldn't nap), the lack of in-flight magazine (if I can't nap, can't I at least pass the time with a crossword?), the carry-on fee, and the fact that the flight crew reminded us four or five times that they were also the clean-up crew so we should help them out by not littering, it was the most uncomfortable of any flight I have ever taken."

Cons: "the price for the trip does not include that you have to pay for Carry-on, and seat assignment, which is an odd expense to passengers. Especially for shorter trips with the round trip the carry on charge would equal up to at least $60. Which would equal to another airline who is comparatively better especially because those airlines aren't worrying about charging the customers for every single thing. So even though I comparison shop for my ticket, by the time I paid for these additional fees, I could have purchased a ticket from another airline for less money."

The attendants were very nice, air-conditioning made it all comfortable during the long wait. I totally understand how accidents can happen and I think the crew handled the delay very well. The attendant was very nice and during refreshment service, my daughter asked for 2 glasses of water and she gave them to us. We had not planned to be on the plane so long so I had not brought along anything to drink. All in all, it was a good flight. Thank you."

Pros: "I loved the price of the tickets. My children spend the summer between Iowa and Alabama. So we travel a lot. I normally drive to Kentucky to meet up with Grandma to let them go north for part of the summer. However, this year I have planned a honeymoon, and even planned going to Virginia two weekends back to back. I thought I would fly to St. Louis from Atlanta to cut down on the driving. (I tend to get sick on road trips anyway, a flight would be nice). I found these tickets for around $50 each. I needed 3. Got them. The flight to St Louis was quick. We landed 20 mins ahead of schedule. (Made my return trip great as I was back on the same plane and was sorta freaking out about making it back to the gate in time) Landed in St Louis walked to baggage claim met up with Grandma returned with time to spare. The return flight was the same. I did not like the seats. I ended up with a massive migraine no fault of the airline but I would have loved to have been a little more comfortable. It has been a long time from my last flight and this one. The price of baggage went up. (As well as tickets which is one reason its been a while) I did notice that the airline is wanting you to prepay for baggage when you purchase the tickets. In the long run makes in SO MUCH EASIER! And with the most recent issues with TSA and getting through security that speeds things up. I paid for one checked bag. And using the frontier site was cheaper than I would have been charged at the airport. Overall I can't complain. I did make it to and from my destination on time and safely. My bag was in one piece. The seats not being the best is a minor detail. Oh. And unlike some of the other flights this one did not offer free drinks and snacks. I've flown Southwest, and Delta I was offered a soft drink and a small bag of something. I was offered to purchase these from this line. Found it odd."

Cons: "I was disappointed in the surprise costs of luggage. I packed everything in a carryon so that I wouldn't have to pay for a check bag, but turns out a carry on costs $40 at check in. I understand it was a cheap flight, but I may have made a different decision if I knew there was an extra hidden cost of $80 round trip. On other notes, on the first flight of my two, the plane was swerving back and forth on takeoff and landing. The weather was fine, and I've flown plenty enough to know this wasn't normal. My second flight was fine. It was on the same plane, but the crew changed, so I guess it was pilot causing it to be this way? The seats were uncomfortable in coach for long periods of time compared to other airlines, and did not recline."

Cons: "When booking and checking in, no opportunity to enter Known Traveler ID number, so did not get TSA precheck. No information when booking about additional charges - $30 for a carry-on bag?? additional fees almost doubled the price of the ticket. On the flight, the volume of pilot announcements were very loud, crew said it was a new plane and the volume wasn't adjusted yet. I have never been on a flight where I had to pay for water! I have since learned Frontier doesn't allow TSA precheck - will never fly this airline again for that reason."

Pros: "Never flew with any other airlines aside from United until I flew for the first time with Frontier. I have to say, I had a pretty good experience. I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."
Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."

Cons: "After landing in denver for what was supposed to be a short layover, found out flight was delayed for over 5 hours because crew were out of hours and they had to get a different crew there, landed in St Louis at 2 am to find reserved rental car kiosk was closed and they left everyone's luggage in Denver. Since they only have one flight a day to st louis, is going to take over 24 hours for my luggage to arrive. Frontier help desk said it happens all the time when there is a long layover in Denver. Apparently they know it's a problem and not a big deal to them. I'll never fly frontier again. With a 50 dollar cab fee that I should have never had to take and cost of clothing and toiletries I had to purchase due to bags being left in Denver it's well over cost for a better airline. It's not like they didn't have plenty of time to transfer luggage. Not to mention the two hours of sleep I was able to take before meeting one of our vendors the next morning with clothing I'd been wearing for 24 hours and completely unprepared with laptop and other tools lost somewhere in Denver frontier luggage carts."

Cons: "Paid for a seat but unfortunately only had about 3/4 of the seat available because of the size of the person next to me. Asked the attendant to let me sit in one of the Exit Row seats that were ALL available as no on wanted to pay the $50 upgrade charge. I made this request AFTER the seatbelt light was off to not be disruptive. The attendant finally came by and offer a free drink for my inconvenience which I obviously refused as that would not help the fact that I was having to either sit sideways or lean all the way forward for a 3.5 hour flight. I explained I was not looking for a free upgrade, just to be able to get what I paid for. I do not blame there person that was sitting next to me, but the crew for not making arrangements when the customer boarded the plane. Anyone could clearly see there would be an issue with this person in a full row. Instead they ignored it and expect someone else to pay for an upgrade to solve the problem. That was my first Frontier flight and will be my last."

Pros: "The crew was very professional and very nice. The equipment was new and clean, which is also greatly appreciated. Excellent job in these two areas."
Cons: "Absolutely do not like that Frontier Airlines does not offer TSA Pre-Check service for its passengers who are enrolled in the program. I was not aware of this ahead of time, but it was confirmed to me after looking at my ticketing and speaking with several TSA agents from my departing airport, Orlando (MCO). They said Frontier is one of the very few carriers that do not participate in this program for some reason. I would love to know what that reason is? This is a very important feature for me. Without a good reason for not offering this service, I must say I am far less likely to chose Frontier in the future, along with having to make recommendations to my colleagues to avoid Frontier for this reason for their travel needs as well."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "It was so hot for 3 whole hrs I literally nearly passed out. Everyone on the plane said something and the crew never altered the temp. They brought one round of water near the end of the flight. Rediculous."

Pros: "A very smooth landing."
Cons: "I waited in line to check in for 45 minutes or so. No-one was at the desk. A customer ended up finding a security guard and asking them to find a Frontier employee. They paged for one over the loud speaker. How embarrassing. A woman started checking customers in, with the attitude of the century. She was angry, rude, and just plain nasty. This should not be the face of Frontier. When friends and family ask, "How was your flight?" All I can picture is that woman and her pinched tight frown of a mouth, angry grimace of a face and condescending hateful tone. Good day."
