Pros: "Crew we're friendly and helpful. Seats were good."
Cons: "Old plane so in-flight entertainment systems didn't work properly in 3 of the 4 seats we occupied."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Entertainment had very poor choices. Food was not good, even the crew didn’t have enough food for all passengers. Seat was uncomfortable. Would like to avoid this airline in future."
Pros: "Entertainment and the seats (leg room)"
Cons: "Food is horrible. The option you want usually runs out and then you are at the mercy of the service crew to find one"
Pros: "Entertainment; Food is ok"
Cons: "Despite premium price, seat selection not available unless you pay extra; Family of 4 dispersed and given only middle seats except one aisle seat;"
Pros: "The crew helped me with a duct tape but it wasn't staying"
Pros: "Almost everything !"
Cons: "Had to go and find a steward at one point to find out where my coffee had gone to."
Cons: "The seats in business are flat but at an angle; this actuallty makes quite a difference for comfort."
Pros: "For emergency cace I cancel my trip can u return my mony Pack please"
Cons: "Efundmony"
Pros: "I didn't like disemabarking and being walked to a bus and then being transported to the actual airport"
Pros: "Emirates service is what set them apart. The crew is always smiling and helpful. Makes for a great flight experience."
Seats actually fit a human! Snack options were a bit lame but that’s ok
Everything in general was great, but we left 30 minutes late
Pros: "Crew was great, on time flight, clean plane."
Cons: "Entertainments options were shockingly few. Honestly have not been on a plane recently with so few and limited options of TV series and movies. I was extremely surprised. Wish I had know and I would’ve had more options for my family."
Pros: "Crew were excellent"
Cons: "Old aircraft. Uncomfortable seats in economy. Entertainment screens old and almost impossible to watch - watched my iPhone! No mobile phone charger."
Pros: "I was sorted on Row 3 and the drapes kept hitting the back of my head."
Cons: "Move the drapes a few more inches back."
Pros: "KLM are our airline of choice. A great full-service carrier with impecable standards."
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "The crew tried to be helpful but were equally frustrated with the ground crew."
Cons: "Follow your own policies. Allow people to board (economy plus) with their hand luggage who have followed all the rules and chosen a seat in the front of the plane. My daughter and my KLM approved baggage were taken by the boarding crew while allowing other passengers to go with more than allowed"
Pros: "Just as I expected. And I made my last connection easily."
Pros: "The bed was comfortable. Entertainment selection and large TV screen was good. The KLM crew is amazing, as usual."
Cons: "Food quality was not so good."
Pros: "Crew was fantastic, seats and entertainment was great. Very good food choices."
Cons: "Everything was very good."
Airline missed my special meal order. Those planes are really old and have very less leg space. Choice of movies is very minimal.
Lufthansa should strongly consider increasing transit time to help passengers arriving from Bengaluru as the current time transit time of 1 hour 40 minutes appears inadequate and rushed and likely greater chance of missing that connecting flight to St Louis. This would encourage a lot of Indians coming from south India to take advantage of this service to Su Louis
Entertainment options are very limited. FRA to ORD leg entertainment did not even work. It is outdated and never responded. Food is absolute garbage.
The flight staff was nice. The pilot was a bit erratic with the plane.
Food was terrible. Alcohol was paid other than beer. Unless you are a baby…who would drink milk? Boarding was 35 mins away and they would not allow me to use fast lane as fast lane was 30 min or shorter. Normal security check was 45 mins. Crazy rules!!! Also just cleared Indias security check and never went out…so why???? Aeroplanes are also old and bad….nothing good to say with my 30 hour flying
Service and food could be better. Horrible food and crew service.
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "The aisle between seats is too small. There is barely any room for a cart to pass through. If you have any arm out on the aisle arm rest you"
Pros: "Inflight services"
Cons: "Delayed flight, missed connecting flight due to that. On the ground staff should have better coordinated from arrival to boarding of next flight. Chaotic and short staffed security personnel at Frankfurt airport. Overall a pathetic experience"
Pros: "La atención de la tripulación es la mejor que he visto. El servicio de alimentación es muy bueno."
Pros: "the food on LH755 was decent. LH454 second snack, a cold sandwich was inedible! Too salty, soggy and just plain yucky!"
Cons: "Food!"
Was looking forward to this flight and better than usual service from a North American carrier, sadly not the case. If over 6ft the lie flat seat space is restrictive due to the table below the screen. That said, did get a decent sleep on the 16 hour flight. Air Canada is a carrier that configures planes with minimum toilets, there are only 2 for Business and despite only being 75% full there was usually a wait as Premium Economy were also using the toilet behind the cabin. Amenity kit is nice but no slippers provided. The journey involved 3 flights on Air Canada and every one was late and had to be rerouted, at least my luggage arrived at the same time.
Ridiculous expensive! United airlines/Air Canada partnership is a joke.
Flight left an hour late and that emperiles our next flight, but it seemed like they waited for us, as they let us on just 10 minutes before dep time. Otherwise flight was fine. Seemed to be quite a lot of room even though it was an enormous plane.
Pros: "Movies I could plug in and go to sleep"
Cons: "Being woke up and asked if I want something to eat. I am sure others would disagree but I was exhausted and could not go back to sleep and I had already been up 30 hours."
Pros: "Food was good, crew was great"
Cons: "leg room was better than some but for a long flight it was tight"
Pros: "Liked the comfort of the plane, on time, and smooth touchdown"
Cons: "Food was dried out, crew was extremely slow to dispense beverages and food"
Cons: "I didn’t make it onto this flight because it was so delayed I needed to change flights while at the airport to make it onto the next one in time."
Pros: "We have been using Premium Economy on various airlines I’ve the last several years for our frequent travel between the USA and destinations in Europe and Asia. The Air Canada experience was one of the very best (along with Lufthansa). The entertainment system was superior, food was great, service was attentive and comfort was as anticipated. The availability of power for iPads and computers was more than sufficient. I’m sure that a lot of the satisfaction came from flying on a Dreamliner but Air Canada is still at the top in our minds (and future plans)."
Cons: "The only complaint would be that the cabin was quite cold on our return trip. I could have been better prepared myself so I need to take most of the blame. The cabin crew did take steps to adjust the temperature but it would be unreasonable to expect the aircraft to meet the comfort expectations of every passenger. Next time I will just bring a light weight hoodie."
Pros: "Getting off."
Cons: "I had a seat with a drip, probably condensation, that feel on my head and face throughout the flight. At one point during takeoff it was a steady stream of water. I sat with a napkin perched on my head and would mop up the water between events. That was a first! And with a long 14 hour flight, not welcomed."
Pros: "The quick route was good (that's the only reason I *might* consider choosing this Air Canada flight again in the future)."
Cons: "On a flight to India, full of people of Indian origin, Air Canada served TERRIBLE imitation-Indian food. The "naan" bread was like a thick cracker, and the vegetarian curry was unedible. Samosas were soggy (they should be crisp on the outside). The Sikh man next to me complained over and over to the flight attendant. Of all the types of food to serve, leaving Vancouver, why not showcase great Canadian seafood or cooking? Everyone going TO India will soon get to eat amazing local Indian food, so why risk making poor-quality imitation Indian food?"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "A flight not canceled due to mechanical failure. A staff that were actually helpful. United could care less and I will never fly with them again"
Pros: "Kind crew."
Cons: "Did not allow me to have carry on. Had to pay for it to be checked. Unexpected cost."
Pros: "Great inflight service! On the ground faster than expected."
Cons: "I asked to complementary check my small carry on, but the attendants at the desk would not let me. The stewardesses were booked too closely to their last flight and we were delayed - huge oversight. Boarding was chaotic as the gate immediately across from us was simultaneously boarding and the United staff made the whole process long and miserable by failing to call the next boarding group in a timely fashion. This is not the first time I’ve felt miserable while trying to board a United flight :/."
Pros: "Nothing!"
Cons: "Kayak sent me a message that our connecting flight out of O'Hare was boarding at gate B5. However, checking the monitors in the terminal showed the correct gate was B21, which is on the opposite end of the terminal. I don't know why Kayak had the wrong information on this. We barely made our connecting flight because our starting flight was over 30 minutes late, which was United's fault. This made rushing to the correct gate for our connecting flight all the more stressful. No time to stop at the bathrooms or pick up something to eat. Both United and Kayak let me down on getting back to Hartford. We arrived at the end of boarding with no room left for our bags in the overheads so we had to check them and pick them up at the carousel. A totally BAD flight experience."
Cons: "The flight was about 9 hours delayed and I didn’t feel like anyone was trying to make up for it"
Cons: "My connecting flight was delayed by 4 hours due tknsmong in India. I called United ahead of time to tell them I was not able to make my flight and if there was anyway I could get a new ticket. The representative was confident that 40 minutes between my flights at Delhi was enough time to make it despite me reminding her about the time it took to get off the plane, pick up my luggage, get through immigrations and travel to my terminal. She was very wrong. She insisted I call them when I land and that I go to the ticket booth. Little did she know that once I miss my flight my ticket is no longer valid and I was no longer able to enter the airport in India. Once I reached the entrance I was directed to a Untied booth all the way at the end of the terminal and was told to buy a new ticket. There was no United representative at this booth. I waited 3 hours and even called the number posted at the booth. No one picked up and no one came. I had wasted several hours. I ultimately decided to buy a ticket online spending another thousand dollars to get back home when I was told that I would be given a new ticket at the booth by United. But I had to wait another 24 hours outside the airport because I was not allowed in so early prior to my flight. Very unprofessional and unhelpful when I needed it the most."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "The flight attendants were rude, impatient and generally seemed unhappy to be working on this particular flight."
Pros: "Crew friendliness"
Cons: "The cabin was way too cold. Audio beeps (fasten seat belts) are too loud"
Cons: "The crew was very rude, I was told I had to store my purse, the person next to me wouldn't store the carry on baggage, I needed to take scheduled medicine in flight, I couldn't as my purse was stowed. I was delayed for over and hour and a half after arriving. I had to stop and eat in the airport. With chronic health issues addressed this way I will probably not use United again."
Pros: "Flight is a quick and easy one."
Cons: "It truly bothers me that during pre-board, United says, "if you have a disability you can board now." Who would want to be the person moving forward to board? Southwest says something to the affect of "if you have a pre-board and need a little extra time." Maybe they could change their verbiage to sound a bit more like we're in the 21st century."
