Cons: "Problems with the emergency lightning caused the flight to depart two hours late"
Pros: "Plane was nice and clean. Crew was pleasant and helpful."
Cons: "Beware that baggage check closes 1 HOUR BEFORE TAKEOFF! They failed to mention this when I purchased tickets. Also we were unable to check in online (something wrong on the website), so we didn't know our boarding info. We also had a flight that was 30mins late. When we got to the check in counter the woman wouldn't do anything for us- wouldn't hold the flight, didn't attempt to help us catch our flight. We were told we could wait 48 hours for the next available seats. We signed up for that, and also waited on standby for 24 hours at Narita. Fortunately they were able to get us on a flight within 24 hours. We were not very happy that the key information that check in closes an hour before flights was not readily available or obvious. No emails or notices that I saw when scheduling flights. Just be aware. Everything else about the flight was fine."
Pros: "The air crew was absolutely fabulous coming home. Couldn't of been nicer or kinder. Excellent work gang. Very much appreciated. This applies to Toronto to tokyo crew likewise. AC has very special people representing them. Thanks."
Cons: "Well, food was iffy. But provided, free and good intentions. I just gave it away to grateful seat mates."
Pros: "I flew roundtrip to Japan on Air Canada business class. Buying a ticket late, I noticed it was only $500 or so more for business class. We did have to touchdown in Canada coming and going, but short and efficient hops. On the way back, it probably saved time because we were cleared in Canada so arriving back in Philly was like a domestic flight. Great Food and service. The trip to Japan on their new Dreamliner business class featured an amazingly designed pod - super comfortable, lay flat for sleeping, But has good layout and table space if I had wanted to work on laptop. Thumbs up!"
Pros: "I liked having Nexus get me through air Canada's malfunctioning Website to airport chaotic check-in otherwise may have missed my flight! Actual flight was smooth,quick and comfortable. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. Airplane interior open and bright. Bathrooms clean and well supplied."
Cons: "Customer's time is valuable too! Air Canada website check-in malfunctioning causes anger, frustration and chaos at home and continues through airport check-in. HUNDREDS of angry, frustrated customers paid for their tickets, tried to check-in online and arrived early all converged into one CHAOTIC crowd. ADDRESS these issues, FIX YOUR WEBSITE, TREAT YOUR HARDWORKING, PAYING CUSTOMERS with DIGNITY and RESPECT they DESERVE. Competing Airlines are waiting for your dissatisfied customers."
Pros: "I really enjoyed the number of in-flight entertainment options."
Cons: "There was an upset child that could not be calmed down."
Pros: "Nice friendly staff in the plane. Nice friendly staff at the airport, although very slow and getting confused easily. Need more training."
Cons: "Checkin process has to be SERIOUSLY reviewed and improved, especially for International travelers. Our boarding passes printed in Okinawa had to be REPRINTED in Tokyo for some reason, and we narrowly avoided a huge line to wait into because staff mistakenly made us wait in the WRONG lane. Note: on the way to Okinawa 2 weeks earlier, we had similar poor experience, but we only had to wait 5 min in the wrong lane. Overall ANA staff is very nice, friendly and smiling, but seems to get overwhelmed and confused very easily, and take FOREVER to do simple tasks that their US counterparts do 3x or 4x FASTER. --> do more regular TRAINING of your staff at airport counters !"

Cons: "It was over booked. I wasted my precious time in the airport for half day... and the staff of ethiopian were not kindness."

Cons: "They need to improve on the flight check-in and boarding at thier airport in Bole, it is so messy. Also thier inflight menu is nothing special"

Cons: "TV was broken, had phone so it was okay, the frustrating but was the call button. I rarely hit it, did this time for an arrivals card, the guy beside me messed his up and used mine while I was sleeping. No problem, until I hit the button. No one came for more than an hour, I even made eye contact."

Pros: "Way more leg room than I expected. The crew was very nice, the announcements were made in 3 languages, which was nice for the non-Amharic speakers!"
Cons: "Boarding in Lomé took a long time, which I believe made us a little later at the airport. Not sure if that is something fixable or not"
Cons: "Language barriers are always hard, i sat next to someone who didn’t speak English well, one of the flight crew sounded irritated instead of understanding."

Cons: "A very lengthy boarding process and the inevitable delay of an hour. Not good when it's already a late night flight. No entertainment console. Quite cramped"

Cons: "Check in and boarding was atrocious. We were told that we wouldn't be allowed to go to the gate if we didn't get through the check in but it wasn't our fault that it was taking so long. There weren't anywhere near enough staff and so by the time we managed to check in we had to go straight to the gate. Same thing when boarding. Took far too long and there was an inevitable delay with no apology. Plane ok. One toilet out of order so had to walk the length of the plane. Games no good without a handset and very few new movies."

Cons: "Air India randomly reassigned seats that we had selected while booking. Even after paying for new seat assignment (we were traveling with young kids so wanted to be together), they did not assign us the new seats due to a ‘system glitch’. My wife spent upwards of 3 hrs on phone for such a simple task. Very bad!!!"
Cons: "My touchscreen was not working and many were having issues with movies not playing"
Cons: "No response in providing wheelchair assistance even though we requested via online/ calling airlines customer service."
