The landing was incredibly rough. I thought we were going to roll over at one point. Even coming into the landing was incredibly rocky. The passenger beside me said they make that flight all the time and that was the hardest landing they ever experienced.
Cons: "My sister’s checked in luggage was in poor shape when we got it in Albany. We noticed an outside compartment was unzipped. So we checked to see if anything was missing and a souvenir from Mexico was gone. Then we realized a zipper was missing from the luggage and then decided to check all the other compartments and realized her bag of jewelry was gone. The woman at baggage services in Albany told us Delta is not responsible for lost belongings. Also tried to tell us theft is not an issue because there are cameras everywhere. Well you are telling someone that is missing a bag of jewelry that theft is not a problem. Also, there may be cameras everywhere but I doubt anyone is going to review those cameras to see what happened. I will never fly Delta again."

I just need to do better at checking my phone due to both apps sending me updates about flight delays and luggage locations"

Cons: "I travel this route (ATL - MGM) often and it seems like half the time I use Delta there is an issue with the plane including times when the flight has been cancelled. This time the plane left the gate and some fifteen minutes after sitting on the tarmac was taken back to the gate. The issue was said to be an element that keeps a sensor from freezing in extreme cold weather. The less than one hour flight took two hours to complete. This should have been dealt with as a maintenance issue but Delta doesn't seem to think so. The planes on this route make Delta a LOT of money as it is one of the most profitable routes in the US. You would think Delta could invest in keeping better maintained planes on the route."
Cons: "we began the boarding process late, which can be understandable, although the plane was there pretty early. Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

In general, the service was quite poor, making me wonder how does Delta treat the flight attendants, for they seemed tired and careless. The above did not happen in any of my other flights: Atlanta-Guadalajara, Guadalajara-CDMX, CDMX-Atlanta."
Cons: "Wouldn’t let us take our carry-on because they had overbooked and had no more room in overhead. Delayed our first flight and then our connecting flight left *early*. (If you know you have customers with short connections, why leave early to make their connections even shorter?) Then told us they would not pay for our hotel since it wasn’t their fault. Gave us a “discount” with a nearby hotel that was more expensive than what you could book it for online. Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled and I had anxiety about being at my destinations on time because I had to travel another hour away without knowing if my ride would be able to wait for me. However, I was booked on another plane that wasn't damaged which got me there on time,but once I arrived my luggage was no where to be found. I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."

Cons: "I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."
Pros: "The crew went out of their way to make sure they got the plane ready as quickly as possible and get us to Jacksonville as quickly as possible."
Cons: "Delta lost the plane for over an hour. After already spending 10 hours in ATL because of an earlier delay due to human error I was extremely disappointed in Delta that my flight out of Atlanta was delayed by an hour because they LOST the plane and couldn’t find it or the truck to bring it to the gate. This kind of error on Xmas eve is embarrassing. Delta didn’t do anything for the passengers affected by this. I was dumbstruck by the apathy of the Delta employees at the gate (the exception was the flight crew, who tried to get the aircraft there earlier). Because Delta did nothing but make error after error I arrived at home 11 hours later than my original flight was booked for on Christmas Eve, missing Christmas Eve Services and family traditions. When I need to get somewhere on time I’ll never rely on Delta after this experience."

I received an email this morning letting me know the fight from ALT to Mexico had been delay!! When I opened it to view the itinerary it showed she had been booked for the am fight at 6:30 am! after spending another hour and 35 minutes on the phone your support team could not find a fight until Dec.21!! Not to mention the accepted they had problems with their email system and phones, but asked why didn't I called,mmm I was on the phone for the 3rd time!!!! I am very, very disappointed!! Not a discount was offer or a fight the next day even when I was checking an flights were available!!! Here is the other part,,Rosa came all the way from Mexico to care for her ill sister for the last 2 1/2 months, all she asked was to be able to be back home for the holidays!! Your team insisted on scheduling a flight for next week or a full refund!! This was not a money matter!! It's about getting some one home for the Holidays who has helped a ill person during the most vulnerable time in her life!!"

The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

I informed them that the website indicated it would waive baggage fees to certain destinations if checked in at the airport before a certain date. Another Delta agent nearby had to show them a copy of the policy before I could get my baggage fees waived."

Cons: "Plane was supposed to depart at 9:09pm. An announcement was made that in Atlanta which is Delta hub, there were no flight attendants for the flight so we had to wait for another crew to fly in. That's just unporfessiknal. To make matters worse, the gate agents didn't make announcements even if just to say we know this isn't good and we will update you asap even if just to tell you we are still waiting on word. Total silence and seeing the gate agents laugh and talk amongst each other was pretty bad."

Cons: "Seated in the rear middle seat. I had no options to select a seat when I checked in or made my reservation that wasn't an extra charge. I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."
Cons: "Sat in Delta Comfort and a loyal Delta flier, except had the bad fortune of taking off at 830 ATL time and apparently Delta doesn't find it important or a good idea to sell food after that time. The logic behind this is beyond me. I'm willing to pay $9 for a few cheese slice and crackers or a sandwich yet they don't offer anything, not even to first class which would really irritate me had I paid 1000 bucks. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"

Cons: "This was the fourth first class leg of our overall trip and the first three flights on Delta were great. The attendants were pleasant and even fun. I have allergies and requested a special meal on all legs. No problem on the first three flights. All attendants approached me to confirm my allergy and the special meal. They were very polite. But on this flight, the attendant didn't speak with me about it at all. She tried to give me the regular meal. When I explained I needed an allergy free meal (mind you this was first class), I was told I could not get it and got no apology or other accommodation. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I found this interesting since on two of the other flights an announcement was made about another passenger with an allergy to peanuts so no one could have them on the flights and the attendants were very concerned."

Cons: "I did not like the way the plane was boarded- people could not get into their seats because others blocked the aisles - so chaotic. Passengers were not being rude to one another, it was simply that the process is poor. Could the zones instead reflect both location of seat and area of plane, so that those with window seats at the back board first, then middle seats, then aisle? That way if aisle seats fill first, seated people are not stepping back into the aisle to accommodate others needing to get a seat in that row, while everyone on the gang way must wait for the aisle to clear."

At the gate, my seat was reassigned to a middle seat. This is a huge problem for me, as my back and leg injuries require the ability to stretch and move frequently. When complaining on Delta phone lines, I was told that the seat was needed for a Diamond member and therefore was "policy" to bump. Although I eventually received some compensation for the fact I paid more for the original seat, I remain very disappointed in Delta, if this is indeed the policy."
Pros: "On the flight I got on the 8:20 to Reagan the flight attendances were wonderful! Defiantly made up for me having a aweful time on the 7:20 flight. I loved your flight attendants on this flight!"
Cons: "So I arrived in Atl was on standby for the 7:20 flight to Dca airport I had already paid $50 for standby! I got cleared for this flight and bumped to delta comfort. I was super excited to finally get upgraded! Then the plane had problems we were then again delayed and had to deplane. We were told this would be a 2 hour delay. I proceeded to try an get on the next flight at 8:20 while asking about a window seat the lady told me I would have to pay an additional $19! Well I had already paid $50. So the nice lady put me on that flight after I had already asked for window seat. She put me in the middle seat! I get that planes have problems and flights are delayed! There was so much bad yesterday then good and I feel like delta should know. It's more and more bad everytime I fly! Please fix these problems!"

I change the flight an hour after I mad the flight and they said because I did not use google chrome that the change were not made they waned me to pay 402 to change a flight that I booked for 194. I could have bought two more tickets for 284. The told them that is what I need to do. By the revues I saw on line the did the same thing to at least 10 other people. Frontier said that a customer only has 4 hour to make a change to a flight. I talk to sever travel agents and was told we have 24 hours."

Crew unapologetically explains that since plane is going to maintenance we are at a shorter gate hence the delay - it is what it is. We are getting off some makeshift jetway. What?! At this point the passengers are ready to walk down the tarmac. I’m just glad it’s over."

I understand delays but it would have been nice if someone would have told us why. There was no one at the desk for a long time. But once we were on the plane and in the air everything was great."
Pros: "The price of the ticket was really good. The cabin was clean. The seats are a little bigger than Spirit but I'm only 5'2" so that's not much of an issue for me. Flight to Atlanta arrived and left without a hitch. It was very organized and lifted off on time. Return flight was delayed due to weather at my destination in Houston but we were updated every 15 mins on the status of the departure/arrival time. Wasn't much confusion. Again the plane on my return was very clean. Crew was very nice and informative. Not sure what confusion is about bags from other reviews. Baggage prices are clearly stated on their website that's why the flights are so cheap. Snacks and drinks are not free ob the plane but you can buy those at kiosks after the security check point and bring it with you on the plane. If comfort is not you're number one priority than this airline works for you."

Cons: "They lost my bags I was flying to Atlanta from Phoenix and my bag ended up in St Louis ... i would assume that if your going to make me pay for my checked bag it would atleast make it to the correct destination. The crew wasn't as pleasant and friendly as I'd like them to be but did there jobs (I guess) then we had to sit and wait for a gate .... the only reason why a gate finally opened up was because people started asking for snacks. Overall there was nothing special about this flight I was upset that I didn't have my luggage from the beggening of my trip but the day before I left my bag was recovered . The ticket was inexpensive but I'm not sure if it was worth the hasstle Then I had to pay for my bags coming back as well. Suggestion maybe have a 50% voucher ad a courtesy from sending a bag to the wrong destination."

Cons: "Baggage fees and we hit turbulence during take off and the pilot never made an announcement. It was stormy in ATL so you'd like to be warned. The flight attendant eventually made an announcement after there were screams as the plane dipped suddenly creating a roller coaster drop effect. Also the seats were impossible to get comfortable in, the arm rests too small and they didn't go up so although no one was next to me I was trapped in my seat. Also because I was in an exit row it didn't recline. Oh and the reading lights are aggressive. I wish I'd packed an eye mask to block out that light and the light from the exit sign. Thankfully it was a short flight. The airfare is cheap but after you pay all the fees you might as well book on a more comfortable airline."
Pros: "We never took the flight as we waited in the airport 2 hours from boarding scheduled for 8:00 p.m., as suggested, until after 2:00 in the morning, when we heard not from Frontier, but another passenger, that the flight was canceled. No flight was available until Christmas Eve, six days from the current flight, and so we spent considerably more money for all three of us to get home with another airline. I, nor any of the three of us, nor anyone we've told our story to, wishes to ever fly Frontier again. It is an event that will certainly impact our decision to fly Frontier again, without a doubt."

Cons: "Denver to Atlanta one of two bags lost. Delayed our trip to Asheville by several hours and arrived in the dark, much to our chagrin. The bag was 'driven' directly to the house the next day. On the return, the bags were nearly an hour late before appearing. We were over charged for bag fees. Computer did not show the checked bag purchase at booking, so were charged full 'at the gate' price. Seats are uncomfortable and do not recline. Rows too close together. Every seat filled, making the flight noisy, crowded and uncomfortable. The flight was definitely NOT worth the savings."

For some unexpected reason my flight was cancelled to Florida, needless to say it has the best weather in the country right now. I was on hold for 2 hours trying to get through to a customer service representative and no one answered. I did not get a comped hotel night and not even a meal! Worst airline I've had to deal with when it comes to customer service, will not be flying frontier again."

Cons: "I didn't know that they were going to charge me $30 each way for CARRY-ON!!! They wanted extra money just to put your party together. I was flying by myself so I didn't care, but they wanted 25/seat to sit in the middle of the plane per person. I have a family of 7 (5 kids 8 and under) and had we been flying together that would have been a surprise round trip expense of $250 for seats and probably $400-500 in baggage. I would have been very upset. You pay for soft/juice drinks and small snacks. The 'free' water I asked for/received didn't have ice. I assume that was extra, but I wouldn't know b/c the lady who gave it to me was off before I could even ask. I was starting to think they were going to make me pay for a seat belt. I have recently booked another flight to Arizona on frontier before I left on this one and I am already dreading that flight. I will not be going on Frontier again nor recommend it to anyone else."
Cons: "Seats didn't lay back and had to pay for carry on luggage"

Cons: "How the airline charges 35 for the first bag, 40 for the next and 80 for the next. That's crazy! I didn't like the boarding process. It was very disorganized. There were people in other people seats and im the only one who moved to a different seat! And complementary drinks arent even offered, you have to pay for EVERYTHING. Also, the flight attendants were pushing the credit card on people. If someone wanted the credit card, then would get it themselves. I've flown with alot of airlines, but this is the worst I've ever flown."
Pros: "This was my first flight in nearly 25 years and it was my moms and son's first flight ever. Enjoyable experience and we definitely hope to do it again soon!"
Cons: "Better leg room would be my only suggestion."
Pros: "One gate agent was very apologetic for the delay, and did try to keep us informed. She was the only professional we saw working that day."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by four hours due to a co-pilot who called in sick. They had to fly in another crewmember from Orlando to Atlanta. Frontier did not offer to help those needing to change flights to other airlines. When we were allowed to board, one woman tried to get her son to board as an unaccompanied minor ( a service which she had paid for), and was ignored by the flight attendants assisting with boarding. Once aboard the plane, a flight attendant got on the PA system and stated the delay was not the flight attendants fault, it was a pilot who delayed the plane. Very Unprofessional. No free or additional services were offered to the passengers aboard the flight, however we were given a $10 breakfast voucher during the delay. There were many other appalling aspects of the crew member's behavior. Too many to mention here. I will not fly Frontier again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else."

Pros: "I woke up to an email 31/2 hours before my daughters flight was suppose to leave Atlanta informing me that the flight was canceled. Called customer service where the man I spoke with was unable to or unwilling to tell me anything except that "yes it looks like the flight was canceled". His suggestion was to have my sister drive my daughter an hour and a half to the airport to see if there "might" be a flight available through another airline. Frontier did not have any flights going to or near RDU that day.Since my daughter had to be in Raliegh that day I spent the next 10 hours in the car going to get her. I did receive a refund but only because I requested one,otherwise they just don't refund automatically."
Cons: "Customer service represenitives are not very informative. The flights may be slightly cheaper but you have to pay for checked baggage as well as carry on bags. When checking her in the night before and picking a seat in coach my sister had to pay a "fee" for her seat, so an additional fee of $57 dollars for one bag and a seat.... Really?"
Cons: "Last minute gate changes, extremely rude staff, hidden fees- terrible airline."

Cons: "paying for carryon luggage and the price being 45. paying for snacks and drinks thats over priced and should be free like the other airlines. seats no longer recline and you have to pay for a seat if you pick one. by the time you pay for all of it the flight costs more or about the same as thr airlines."

Cons: "Paying $40 dollars for a checked bag is ridiculous and $45 for a carry-on is high way robbery. They need to revamp their baggage policies. The baggage prices will prevent me from flying with this airline in the future."

Pros: "The flight was actually on time for us to board. In the past their has been delays. Boarding was smooth the plane looked like it had been updated nice seats."
Cons: "The gate had the wrong city so some people were confused on where to go. The staff at the gate need to be more professional and give more attention to customers. They were too busy talking about personal issues amongst themselves. Some people had questions about baggage and needed assistance and they would refer them to the site. They need to work on customer service."
Cons: "poor customer service poor relation of important flight updates and statuses. Will avoid flying with frontier by any means necessary."

Cons: "I haven't flown Frontier in a while. I didn't realize I have to buy my seat too? What the heck is that? Sure it's only another $13 min. But here's the catch, you get a seat They've replaced the pull down table with a small flip down "table" that is about 1/3 the size of a standard table. While this does offer more legroom, it makes eating difficult and uncomfortable. I could not rest a standard square salad container on it during the flight. Luckily, I had a plastic bag from the vendor that I could put over my slacks to act as a big placemat. I didn't want to spill dressing on my pants. No WIFI onboard In short, I will be avoiding Frontier in the future. I do fly budget airlines like SW, but at least the attitude there is better. And what you get is clear."
Pros: "I was charged $40 for my bag, $2 for a soda that I didn't finish and my seat was $42. The 6 gate crew members in Atlanta were a joke (1 was eating a bag of cheetos). They allowed 4 people to run up the gangway to the plane without checking their tickets before the plane was cleaned from the previous flight. They had to call security to be sure the men never made it on board. They were extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Upon embarkation I had to remind her that I had a ticket that she needed to check! I required assistance with my bag, and had to shove it under my seat because i couldn't lift it. I will not be using them again. BTW, my American ticket was $26, included 1 bag and beverage service."
Cons: "I have never flown an airline that has to explain to the passengers that they must sit in their assigned seats. This statement was repeated several times during the boarding process. I have never experienced a flight quite like this one, the gate agents boarded no less than 6 or 7 times to escort people to their seats. We were over 30 minutes late leaving because of "weather" but I believe that it's code for incompetence. The flight crew were the only professionals on board. I have to say the woman at the ticket counter was quite helpful and very calm even when passengers became upset with her for charging the bag fee. The flight attendants were friendly but not attentive."

Cons: "My husband and I are not frequent fliers, so we were stunned to find out during on-line booking that there was an additional charge to pick our own seats. I thought I must be doing something wrong and called to find out that I could only avoid the fee by letting them pick our seats for us. Definitely an uncomfortable feeling to HOPE that we are together in decent seats. Then we got to the plane and were stunned to find out that we had to pay an additional $120 for our two carry-on bags. To add insult to injury -- you also have to pay for ANYTHING you eat or drink (including water). I opted for a glass of ice to quench my thirst. We will do more research about extra fees before our next trip and probably avoid Frontier, especially since the price they quote has nothing to do with how much you will eventually pay!"

Cons: "I do not like that the website does not clearly state that a backpack is a personal item. But here is the con, they say pay now for the bag or pay more at the airport! So of course you pay. On my return and upon picking up my boarding ticket i asked about my backpack and she told me it was a personal item and that it is free. She handed me a ready made slip of paper to call for a refund and said she would make a note in the system to this effect. When i called for my $80 refund i was told well the note in the system only mentioned your return flight so we will only return for that flight. Ok..ok. You see where im going with this. This is a class action lawsuit in the making."

Cons: "The lady that checked me in was friendly and helpful at the front desk in Atlanta but the lady that checked my friend in from Atlanta to Denver that was working right beside the lady that was checking me in was so rude! We were both really tired because we had to leave at 2am to make it to our flight so we barely had any sleep and she asked my friend where she was flying to and my friend accidentally said Atlanta and the lady was just really rude because she made a simple mistake. She was snarky and condescending."
Pros: "The seats had a surprising amount of legroom, and the staff was nice (though i'm not sure why there were as many as a normal flight from another airline, since they don't do anything beyond the safety demo)"
Cons: "You are not adequately made aware that you will be charged for carry on unlike other airlines. And in doing so, the price of the ticket goes from being impressively cheap to being more than a flight from another airline that has more included amenities, like actual refreshements and free carry-ons. You also get charged for just selecting a seat, not a special seat, but ANY SEAT AT ALL. So the price you initially see when searching for flights is quite misleading. In reality, you should ad at least 50 bucks to any frontier ticket to get a truer picture of what the price would be for a normal passenger with a single carry-on that wants a particular seat."

Cons: "Brand new Airbus had computer problems that required us to return to the gate after 45 minutes on the tarmac. Cold restart was required. That required another 45 minutes. Then we had to wait for 1/2 an hour for a maintenance crew to arrive so they could sign off on the problem??? Seriously? Why wasn't the maintenance crew already waiting for the plane once the decision was made to return to the gate? One would have thought after such an inconvenience that Frontier could afford to let go of some of its $5 sodas or pretzels for free to the passengers, are you kidding...NOT! We were offered about 4 ounces of warm water. Yup, they would not even let go of their ice. I guess the lesson is that you live and learn, I will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "Flying from Denver to Houston I didn't need to pay for a carry on bag because I was told my bag would fit under my seat (and it did). On my return flight was told by the (unfriendly) staff member that I needed to place my bag in this VERY small contraption and if it fit I would not need to pay for my bag. Unfortunately, my bag did not fit however; I was able to place my bag under the seat in front of me for the entire flight. Previously in November I had to pay an additional $75 for my checked bag being 4 lbs overweight. That is highway robbery, I could have checked in another bag for less than that. I will no longer fly Frontier because I am extremely dissatisfied with their service."

It was 30 mins until my flight so I could have made it, but the Spirit employee working the line was completely unhelpful and apathetic, just directing me to wait in line and telling me "everyone else missed their flights too." Customer service had me on hold for 30 minutes, still with no answer. I ended up not getting a flight and missing a wedding scheduled for this afternoon."

Cons: "This was a 7 AM flight, the first one out for the morning of that plane and crew. I always expect those to be on time. However, due to a lazy night crew or maintenance crew, the logs had not been properly performed. We sat on the plane boarded for an hour prior to take off. The captain/pilot was very uncommunicative with the passengers about what was going on and what was causing this . The crew did nothing to try and make up for the fact that the flight was unnecessarily delayed because of Spirit, i.e. Offer free drinks or a snack."
Cons: "My flight departed at 7:10 I walked up to my gate at 7:58 and none of the workers told me that the door were closed and I would not be able to board so I sat there. I was not the only one to miss the flight nor was I given a refund. Never flying spirit again!"

Cons: "I didn't like not being told that boarding would begin forty-five minutes before departure, having to go to a very distant gate after checking in with ticketing to check my bag, and then being told that boarding was underway. I didn't like arriving at the distant gate on foot after security and a subway ride only to find the plane sitting outside and before departure time, yet the door was closed and several other passengers and I being told that we had missed the 7:50 a.m. flight despite having risen at 5:00 a.m. and proceeding with all haste. I didn't like that my non-stop from Atlanta to Houston with arrival time that would have allowed half a day's work changed to a six-hour layover in Ft. Lauderdale and the loss of an entire day and evening. I did not like extra charges for everything. I can see that the higher prices charged by other airlines are not really higher after you add up everything."
