Horrible delay due to weather.
Issues with luggage, gate agents and flight. Delta has really gone down hill. But the flight agents int he sky were kind and professional. Also enjoyed the entertainment--but shouldn't be charged for headphones.
The landing was incredibly rough. I thought we were going to roll over at one point. Even coming into the landing was incredibly rocky. The passenger beside me said they make that flight all the time and that was the hardest landing they ever experienced.
It took an hour for our luggage to arrive on the carousel. Everything else was fine. But I’ve never had to wait so long for my luggage. At the end of a very long travel day it was not what I would have hoped for.
Cons: "The check in process for Delta was a chaotic mess. There was no one to assist passengers, lines were crazy long. I overheard so many people complaining about missing flights and they could not get any help. I also think the amount Delta charges for luggage was insane."

WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin."

Pros: "The price of the ticket was really good. The cabin was clean. The seats are a little bigger than Spirit but I'm only 5'2" so that's not much of an issue for me. Flight to Atlanta arrived and left without a hitch. It was very organized and lifted off on time. Return flight was delayed due to weather at my destination in Houston but we were updated every 15 mins on the status of the departure/arrival time. Wasn't much confusion. Again the plane on my return was very clean. Crew was very nice and informative. Not sure what confusion is about bags from other reviews. Baggage prices are clearly stated on their website that's why the flights are so cheap. Snacks and drinks are not free ob the plane but you can buy those at kiosks after the security check point and bring it with you on the plane. If comfort is not you're number one priority than this airline works for you."

Other airlines give a free drink, but Frontier charges $2. Terrible. And the seats don't recline. In summary for areas to improve: don't charge me for carry on and don't charge me for water. I will also be looking for another online venue to buy my next tickets, we thought we were going to get a great deal (round trip tickets for two people for around $680) but instead will end up paying in the neighborhood of $885. Kayak let us down big time."

Customer service had me on hold for 30 minutes, still with no answer. I ended up not getting a flight and missing a wedding scheduled for this afternoon."

However, due to a lazy night crew or maintenance crew, the logs had not been properly performed. We sat on the plane boarded for an hour prior to take off. The captain/pilot was very uncommunicative with the passengers about what was going on and what was causing this . The crew did nothing to try and make up for the fact that the flight was unnecessarily delayed because of Spirit, i.e. Offer free drinks or a snack."

I didn't like that my non-stop from Atlanta to Houston with arrival time that would have allowed half a day's work changed to a six-hour layover in Ft. Lauderdale and the loss of an entire day and evening. I did not like extra charges for everything. I can see that the higher prices charged by other airlines are not really higher after you add up everything."

Cons: "I had a very small carry-on and the attendant at the airport said I still had to pay a baggage fee because my carry-on had wheels. I ended up paying more for the baggage fees than the actual ticket."

Pros: "There are no extras included, but it gets the job done. It's a flight that gets to you destination as timely as possible and with a little humor."

Cons: "There were three passengers who were very obnoxious seated on my flight. They were loud and disruptive to all passengers. During the flight they audibly joked with several attendants that they were going to participate in some lewd acts while aboard. The attendants did not take them seriously and passed it off. It was announced on the flight that the attendant was new at their job. During my flight I witnessed one of the men and the woman indeed keep their word and noticeably perform a lewd act. This new steward nor the others did not gain control of the situation nor step in deescalate these hyped up passengers. I am sure other passengers were aware of what was happening, but all failed to take action most likely because it was personally uncomfortable to address. This was most disturbing and up close and personal due to the close proximity of the seats in the row in front of me."
