Cons: "with 39 passengers on a 60 persons flight the following annoncement came up: we need 5 volunteers or we leave 524kg of baggage we have to leave here. Than the locals started to bribe the personel... we have no idea if and when our stuff arrives..."

Cons: "They were a minimum 45 minutes late (one 2 hour, 2 one hour) for every flight. Their running late caused us to miss our connection to Brisbane, so they sent us to Sydney. The ,late flight into Sydney cause us to miss our flight into Brisbane (our ticketed destination city). As we de-planed on the Jetway was a woman holding a sign with 12 - 114 names on it, we were one. She told us to go the the transfer desk and they would help us. We had never been in Sydney, could not find a transfer desk (there was none) found the ticketing counter - nobody there, found the airline office - nobody there, went back to the ticket counter nobody still there, asked a competing airline, they directed us to an air travel management office, where we found Fiji Air personnel. They were surprised we were not told where to go. they tracked down the office manager. We finally met with him at 1:40 PM, he told us our flight was in the domestic terminal and scheduled to leave at 2:00 PM. There was no way we could make it to the plane on time. He was rather rude to us and asked us how we thought we were getting to Brisbane, We responded with "I don't know as we've never been here before". Having never been there. we did not know there was an international and a domestic terminal at the Sydney airport. He told us who we were to fly out on and he was going to call over to the other airline and straighten it out. We went to the domestic terminal tried to check in for our flight, but we could not. That airline called Fiji Air to find out why, after half an hour they were told Fiji Air would not honor our flight as we were noted as "no Shows"/. We had to book another flight to Brisbane. The flights were great, we have had VERY BAD EXPERIENCES with the ground personnel,"

Cons: "It was crazy cold on the plane. I'm a frequent flyer and never in my life had I been this cold. I had a sweater, a scarf and a blanket, but couldn't relax to sleep as I was shivering the whole time. My friend traveling with me and the people in our row were feeling the same way. Plus they make you remove your blanket for take off and landing, which I've never had to do with other companies. It went from shivering to teeth chattering. I couldn't understand why they served us a hot meal when we got on the plane. Anyone boarding at 11:30 pm should have already eaten, at that point you just want to sleep, not wait another two hours for food to be served and the trays cleaned up."

The security guard sees this, lets us through to check in at the gate so we sprint there and 4 agents are standing around saying they are surprised we made it."

The limitations on checked baggage and carry-ons were not very good. 40 lbs for a checked bag, ok. But only one allowed. I've never had an airline, let alone international, that weighed my carry-on. All in all, it wasn't what I'd expect from an international flight."

Pros: "Cabin crew was efficient and friendly. In general, your baggage policy is horrible. Only airline I'm familiar with that only allows one checked bag?? I believe your aircraft baggage capacity is equal to any other aircraft of the same model so why the one bag limit. The landing in Nadi was horrible. The plane hit so hard on landing that it bounced up and hit hard again. Everyone was scared and holding tight to the seat in front of them. What was equally disturbing was that neither the pilot or co-pilot ever came on the speaker and said ANYTHING! No explanation, apology or anything-complete silence."
Cons: "This was very unprofessional and makes me wonder what was going on in the cockpit? Seemed to take an in ordinarily long time to clear food trays after the meal. They were offering seconds on beverages before they had even cleared the trays."

Cons: "You need to boldly tell your customers BEFORE they buy their tickets that you are one of few international flights that allow only ONE checked bag. Also that you only allow ONE carry-on bag. This information needs to be impossible to miss for your customers! Nowhere online did it say that I was only allowed one of each. I have travelled to and from the US at least 10 times and my husband twice as much as me, at this is the only international flight that we have ever encountered that only allowed one checked bag. I could not pack one bag into the other and I was traveling home, forcing me to pay $180. We also delt with extremely rude people who were condescending and disrespectful at the checkin counter. The seats on the flight were extremely uncomfortable. The crew did not specify what the food was. Instead of saying "chicken curry" they said "chicken". Because they didn't actually say was it was, I chose chicken and the was not able to eat the food because I am allergic to curry. I was also not able to get something else because I had already opened the food. So the dinner that I paid for with my flight, I could not eat. My husband and I will not fly with Fiji airways again."

Cons: "Delayed leaving ATL, sat on the Tarmac for 30 mins. Leaving CLT was delayed 1.5 hrs for mechanical issue because it problem occurred during a shift change. Also was never given the opportunity to choose a seat assignment on CLT-BDL so I ended up in the very last middle seat."

No doubt this made a more convenient flight for them but I will always value a company that puts its customers first. The scene at the airport was very chaotic with reservations scrambled, bags missing and cars being rented by employees with flashlights."

Then I went to get something to eat to kill time just to find out they switched the gate causing me to have to run all the way to the new gate then they close the door as I was walking up and told me I missed my flight even though the plane was still there for another 15 minutes.. so I had to fly standby on the next flight which was another hour and a half later.. I arrived at the airport at 12:30 and didn't end up catching a flight until 7:45 p.m.... oh and I forgot to mention that I originally paid for an upgrade for priority seating with more legroom that I never received because they put me on the very last seat that you can't even replying because there is a wall behind you.. SMH"

Never again will I fly American anything anywhere. Very disappointed. There is nothing positive to say about anything except the fact that we didn't crash. We were also delayed 2 hours and sitting on the Tarmac. Horrid experience."

Cons: "The Super 80 from ATL to DFW was the hottest aircraft I've ever been on. There was essentially zero airflow making the cabin 95 degrees and 100% humidity. It would have been cooler to stand outside. It was like this when I walked on the jet until well after we leveled off at altitude and then from when we landed (throttles at idle) until we deplaned. We had to wait for a gate for 20 minutes on the Tarmac and then when we got to a gate we had to wait for a gate agent to move the jet bridge for 10 minutes. It was miserable. If you all know you have a low flow aircraft then hurry to hook up the air conditioning cart in both ATL and DFW, fix the APU to produce more air, or don't shut the engines down when there is no gate agent at the aircraft. My clothes were soaked in sweat making this the worst trip I've ever taken. Come on American. You can do better."
