I fly from India to Dubai that is same flight time and they offer same service that they offer in their emrites double floor plane except smaller screen but same function. However, our flight was delayed another 4 hours bc of no gate, held up earlier flight to Boston bc of late passenger and countless other issues. Such as maintence, rebooting plane systems, etc. Employees were clues and every employee gave different explanations. Once we boarded the flight crew was nasty and rude. Lastly, after boarding we were held at gate for another half hour before taking off. This was first time in many years i flew on jetblue bc i switched to american post jetblue tarmac nightmare. I will never fly jetblue again ever."

At this point we were already missing a concert we were trying to make in Chicago. Another $150 gone. We were lucky enough to make the 8:30 pm Dallas to Chicago with American and arrived at Ohare by 11:00 pm. All in all United wasted $300 on a rental car, $150 of concert tickets and 5 hours of paid time off I can't get back. Very disappointed. PS: they gave us food vouchers at the airport to apologize and they were already expired. They couldn't do one thing right."

Pros: "Arrived an hour ahead of time. Stood in lines at three ticketing kiosks all three rejected my passport and other ID, all of which are current and valid. Then an employee tapes signs saying the machines are out of order. By the time I got to the person at the desk they said there were only 40 minutes left and the flight closed at 45 minutes. The next flight they offered was in three days. I asked if any other airline had flights and they said they had no way of checking other airlines."
Cons: "Rude and incompetent, as I said. Wil never fly them again, I'd get there sooner walking."
Pros: "This was my first time with Spirit and I am very pleased with my flights. On time departure and arrival."

Pros: "did not like anything about it, airplane had maintenance issues flight was suppossed to depart at 7am and it didn't depart til 1:44pm. The Kayak app was not updating the correct information about the flight til 10 minutes after the delay. Horrible experience"
Cons: "The airline don't seems to care that people have places to be like work, getting up at 4am to be on time for a flight, loss of sleep and for nothing. I understand that issues happens but airlines needs to have back up plans to comply with their flights"

Cons: "2hrs late departing because of air traffic? I don't believe them. I saw a repair van on the tarmac. Seats are packed in VERY close and they don't recline. There's so little padding in the seat that you can feel the metal frame, so you're very uncomfortable. They sell everything they serve including water. There are no monitors so tv or movies are not even an option. Flight crew doesn't say good-bye, thank you or anything as you exit craft. I'm not sure what the attendants do other than offer to sell you water and tell you what you can and cannot do on their plane. They try to shame you into paying for your carry on and paying to book a seat, calling the seat they assign you "random" like they'll put you in the bathroom or out on the wing. When you get to the airport, you find the approved size for your included personal item is the size of your carry on. They don't check to see who paid for their carry on so only suckers paid. We will never ever fly Spirit!"

Cons: "Baggage retrieval takes 4x longer than any other airline despite Spirit's inflated rates. The lack of reclining seats in all areas of the plane is ridiculous and makes the flights unbearable. Lesson learned. I'll pay the extra $25 for JetBlue or Southwest. Never again!"

Pros: "I liked that the headrests could bend upwards so it's easier to sleep and not fall on your neighbor... Unfortunately my return flight didn't have these, just the trip TO Boston."
Cons: "I doubt anyone likes just HOW MUCH Spirit nickel and dimes you. Yes, we all get the concept that since nothing is included, the base fare is cheaper than other airlines.. Which is certainly not always the case. Charging people $10 to print a boarding pass is a joke. It's never convenient to print when I'm in someone else's house, and I refuse to pay $10 for something you have to have that's free everywhere else. If you're going to continue this, it'd be wise to get onboard with technology and have a mobile boarding pass.. Save the trees and all that. I'd rather pay $10 more for my flight and not be worried about printing a boarding pass, and also to include one free soda/water during flight. Please take this all into consideration."
Pros: "I liked the low ticket price"
Cons: "Spirit's model is "No frills" which means you have to pay additional $$ for EVERYTHING besides your seat: carry on, checked baggage, food, drinks, etc etc. Someone even had to pay extra to print their boarding pass at the counter (they missed that you have to use the kiosks first). If you are going to actually benefit from low ticket prices you have to be traveling really light and maybe sure you pay for your luggage in advance online. Lines were long, service was slow, and they lost my luggage and never called me when it was finally found. Then they were saying i had to pay to get it delivered, until i proved that i hadn't checked in late to my flight (thankfully my kiosk check-in time was in their system). All around negative experience."

Cons: "After pushing back departure by over three hours, they cancelled the flight. Terrible communication by staff - found out about cancellation when I walked past a concourse gate assignment monitor. Earliest rebooking was two days later."
Cons: "The flight was delayed which is okay but then the ground hold was way too long-almost an hour and a half!"

Cons: "There is nothing but a seat and personal item included. Don't expect anything else, be it comfort, snacks or timeliness. Only buy spirit if it is a direct and short flight."

Cons: "Flight was scheduled to leave Boston at 8.50.p.m.on July,16 but it departed at about 0030 hrs on Jul,17 forcing me to sit at the airport and causing lot of discomforts at the age of 67 yrs as also to my aged wife. I also have lurnt that Spirit flights are generally running late."
Cons: "Flight was 1.5 hrs late and we never got an explanation. The lady from spirit said the flight was late the night before too so I think the flight is regularly late"

Cons: "On an Atlanta to Boston trip, they cancelled the flight an hour before takeoff, said we couldn't fly out until the next afternoon, and refused to help us rebook with another airline. I was able to rebook with Southwest at double the cost (and it wasn't even a direct flight). Spirit said the flight was cancelled due to weather but every other airline was still flying to Boston."
Cons: "My flight left 20 minutes prior to posted departure time so we missed that flight. Our stand by flight that we got seats on were double booked. And our connector flight spirit decided to cancel and could provide no explanation. On top of all that after we drove the rest of the way spirit lost my luggage."
Pros: "We traveled with instruments and there was plenty of room to stow them overhead."
Cons: "I paid $10 for a seat that we did not get assigned"
