They explained everything in detail - were easy to understand over the speaker - they were fun and attentive - there was a chance to win free miles if you had the yellow sticker on your tray and an offer for a Spirit Airlines card. Overall they were just a great crew. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the Dallas based crew for our flight back. The same person spoke via speaker each time and passengers were actually laughing as we all gave up trying to understand what she was saying. That is something that could be worked on. They were also less attentive and stood in the isles blocking passengers going to and from the bathrooms."

Cons: "Flight 857 to Dallas was awful, inside the plane cabin was a high pitched loud noise that hurt my ears for 15 minutes before takeoff and 15 minutes after landing. It was never explained by the crew and was definitely not normal. Sounded like a serious mechanical issue and no customer should be subjected to that. Also sounded like landing gear was not working properly, it kept making grinding noises. Also bratty children on the flight and stewardess did nothing to stop several customers from playing videos out loud on their phones before takeoff. Why were they not told to use ear phones? Very disrespectful to other customers. The 8 y.o. in front of me reached back in to my compartment and tried to shut my window! I had to yell "no, stop don't touch my window!" And his mother sitting right next to him did nothing. He also rang for the stewardess call button for no reason, she did not punish him for that either."

When my husband and I asked a question about food the lady (Melissa) rolled her eyes and told us to ask the male attendant when he wasn't so busy then she went to the front and just leaned against the wall... I was seriously shocked my parents both work for another airline and I have flown all over the country. I have never been treated so rudely in my life!"
Cons: "I would walk before i would fly this airiline again. Also, friend who is disabled could not fly on a day she was scheduled so she bought another ticket for a few days later and when she went to return found her reservation had been cancelled because she had not taken the original flight. She is DISABLED and on a limited income, offered to provide a Dr note for the flight she did not take and despite that she had bought and EXTRA ticket through the airline, this did not matter to them and they would not renew her reservation. This is a rip-off, a way to increase their profits. In addition, we were lied to over and over again by the Indian customer service rep who kept telling us the reservation was reinstated and we would get the email in "15-20 minutes. We would not get off the phone and finally she had to admit she "made a mistake" and the reservation would not be reinstated. We went up several levels, everyone is a "supervisor", no one is a manager and no one supposedly has the ability to make a decision. So, they stole the price of a fare from a disabled person. This was not an attempt to thwart a customer from abusing their ticketing policies in order to save a few bucks. This was outright theft. how can you buy something then have the seller just decide you are not entitled to half of what you purchased? We will be speaking with about AG office and also will file in small claims court, even if we lose i hope it creates grief for someone as it will probably cost this airline more to respond that to have just done the right thing in the first place."

There was also a baby craying aloud. It would be nice if those families could be sent to a different section of the plane (but that might be asking too much) Also the plane doesn't come equipped with any sort of in seat displays or headphones to listen to music - you'll have to bring your own entertainment on board. Also the beer selection was so limited (only bud and bud light). I would like to see more of Harpoon IPA, Corona, Modelo, Heineken, etc. And then Spirit would get more of my beer dollars"

More so because seats do not recline which is very difficult for a very tall person to get comfortable in that position. Thankfully on my flight, full rows were open and after stabilizing in the air after the captain turned off the no seat belt signa, we were able to move around to " stretch out" a bit more."
