Pros: "I like that southwest flew out of the same terminal Bc after the nightmares I walked over and happily paid full price for Southwest."
Cons: "2 agents for 300 bags in the same time window is not only unexpectable but poor customer service. Several people including 6 people in wheelchairs were deeply effected by this event not to mention. 100 of passagers without a answers. There was no staff at the 3 gates ! Even before the planes were scheduled to take off."

The try table is less than the size of a half sheet of paper - you simply cannot put your laptop up and work. $35 for a carry on, nickel and dime you for everything including a drink. Last time I will be flying frontier!"

I will no longer fly frontier. I do have to say the staff we very kind and professional."

Cons: "I didnt like the fact that the flight was delayed and a notification wasn't sent to my phone. I had checked the status that night when I checked in and early in the morning and the system said that the flight was on time. It wasnt until I reached the airport and the lady behind the baggage counter told me that the flight was delayed for two hours. I went to go eat with my daughter at the Chilis restaraunt. I figired since the flight was delayed why not have some lunch and head to the plane an hour before take off time. I left the restarant and went through screening. One of the TSA memebers asked me why was I going in so early when the flight was on delayed. I let them know that the flight was suppose to be taken off in an hour so they let me through. As I'm walking through the terminla they have someone walking bu asking if anyone was getting on the frontier flight. I told them that I was on that flight and they told me I needed to hurry up because the plane was about to leave. I became nervous ans started running down the gate to make it to the plane. I'm running with a two year old so Im pretty sure that you can only imagine how difficult that was. Once I reached the gate I was out of breath and it was suppose to be eight minutes before we took off. However we sat on the plane for about another thirty minutes before we left. I feel as though the communication with the airline is not there 100% and if you are sitting in an airport you should be able to hear the update especially when they are not planned ir taking place at a time that is different from what was already relayed."

Cons: "We got bussed from Philadelphia to LGA as plane was short of fuel due to long wait time landing in LGA. It was just terrible. Took forever to get to NY. Not entirely airlines fault. Weather has lot to do with it. But number of factors contributed. Boarding was delayed as we missed our a lot and took of later on top of already late flight. Then. Things just went south. The Staff were very counties and helpful and did their best."

Cons: "There was no indication received that Frontier required a check in of 45 minutes ahead of the flight time. And even though I was 2 minutes shy of that time, Frontier crew still did not allow me to check in. RIDICULOUS!!! No other airline has this bogus requirement. In addition, Frontier doesn't give an option for rebooking for another day, which may require an additional fee (as other airlines do). The only remedy for missing a flight is moving to Frontier's next scheduled flight (that is, the next day for a trip from Atlanta because Frontier only has one flight leaving Atlanta per day). Of course, this didn't work for me because I needed to be in New York on the day of my scheduled flight. $200 DOLLARS GONE!! In conclusion, I will never book another trip with Frontier. Also, I will never use another source to acquire a ticket because that source may not provide me with certain requirements for the airlines it sells for."

Cons: "I flew from Atlanta to NY and supposedly laguardia airport shut down arrivals because of snow... after circling in the air until the fuel ran out, we landed in Philly and an hour later were informed that it would take at least 3 hours to get into laguardia! That would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact that a delta flight left atlanta around the same time and landed in laguardia just fine shortly after we were told that we have to wait. When absolutely no one was there to inform the passengers what to do in terms of getting back on the plane, I just left and took the train home. Not cool frontier! Should have paid a little extra for a more reliable airline"
Cons: "I booked because of the cheap rate. Only to find out at the airport that they charge 25 for carry on luggage...I knew they charged for checking luggage but for a carry on?! ridiculous. Adding those $50, price is the same or more expensive than other better airlines. There was no food whatsoever. Almost 4 hr flight and no food....the food they sell is basically snacks...not even a sandwich. The seats are insanely thin and hard. Entertainment? You have to pay for that. Never seen this kind of horrible service. I lost my flight coming back from NY because of the bad weather conditions. The airport was insane, we got off in the middle of the freeway because cars were not moving and started running. I left 3hs30 before my flight and still lost it...thats how crazy it was. Not only they didnt offer any help, they wanted to charge penalty and put me on a flight 4 days from then. Tried calling and explaining, no one cares. Never flying this company again"

I ended up paying more for my luggage than for my actual flight; the seats are hard, uncomfortable, about 1 inch thick with no padding and do not recline; there were about 25 screaming children on my flight making it an uncomfortable and expensive 3+ hour nersary flight. I will not be flying Frontier in the future."
Cons: "A family of 4 with 2 small children sat behind my colleague and I on a 6:30am flight from ATL to LGA. There were 2 small children who disrupted my entire flight. Constant banging on the back of our chairs, slapping the trays up and down for 2 hours, slapping the plane windows, etc. After repeated efforts to ask the parents to have their children stop, the parents could care less about the disruptive behavior of their children. Complaints were made to the crew to no avail. The children were disrupting the entire 5 rows around them. These passengers should have paid for my and my colleagues flight, in addition to their flight, as they cause one of the worst experiences on a flight I've ever had. After this flight, I believe there should be a policy that if you have children on a plane, you should be required to pay more, allowing the people around you to pay less or opt out of having to be seated next to a passenger with a child."

Cons: "All frontier cares about is nickle and diming their customers. The flight was not too much less than any of the other airlines, but I should've done reviews before choosing them. They charge you $20 for your seat on top of your fare when you try to check in 24 hours early. They charge more for a carry on than a checked bag. They do not provide anything complimentary during the flight. Drinks are $2. Overall, I spent just as much as I would've with Southwest of American, but I felt ripped off and unappreciated. If you want a loyal customer base, Fronteir, I suggest you change your flight policies. This is 2016 and customer service is everything."

Cons: "The staff were aloof and slightly unprofessional. They did not seem to be very confident about the flight, which made me worried and concerned about my experience. They rushed through standard procedures and were not very comforting to passengers. I have never flown by myself before, so my anxiety levels were high and I was extremely nervous the whole time. I wish that they would have been a little more easy-going with nervous passengers, such as myself, because I left the flight shaking."

Before we checked in, a lady told us to just print the boarding pass and go inside in order for us not to miss the fly when we asked if we can have as discount because we did not know about the carry-on bags. Outside was $55 for a bags and $65 at the gate. Which is $10 more for each additional bags. This is stealing money from people and they are sending passengers away from Spirit airlines. I don't recommend to anyone. Even water, you have to pay for it."

On top of that, they announce an advertisement for their credit card aboard, with a whole plane of captive listeners forced to hear. Awful customer service, no phone number to call, will never fly spirit again If I can ever help it!!!"

Cons: "It was not clearly conveyed when purchasing the ticket that baggage fees were not included in the base price. Thus, we not only had to pay to check 2 bags and 2 carry-ons for 170$, we also had to pay an extra 100$ because our checked bags were "overweight" at 50lbs (they only accept 40lbs bags) - and this was only ONE WAY. We will have to pay that $270 on our return flight as well. Ultimately our baggage fees cost us 4X more than our two ticket fares combined! Now I wouldn't call that a "bargain" by any means - we could have gotten two first-class tickets on delta for the total amount we ended up paying. We will never fly spirit again and will ultimately think twice when booking through kayak. What a bummer."

Cons: "Spirit starts with a very appealing price and by the time your finished with them charging you for EVERYTHING, you may as well have taken a much better airline. It is like staying at the Motel 6 instead of the Hilton. You feel like cattle the entire time. You need to be there 2 hours before your national, not international, flight just to be sure you make it to the gate on time, because the lines for check in are so long. You have to pay for a sip of water if you want one. They have four stewards and stewardesses who stand around and literally do nothing on the plane. They don't even check to see if electronic devices are turned off, or seatbelts are buckled. I hated the whole experience"

Cons: "Flight 711 out of Myrtle Beach,SC was cancelled without any notification! Only emails I got were one saying my flight was on time and then another, 20min later, saying flight was delayed. My wife and I and about eight other people were there without any notifications of the cancellation and the spirit workers had no remorse and were rude! They did not care we were late for our honeymoon. Thank goodness we at least got our money back but I think there should be something else coming from them for the hassles we had to tolerate yesterday December 14, 2015 considering we had to pay double the price of our original tickets on a different airline."
