We were first told our flight would be delayed an hour, then the departure time was moved up 40 minutes without any clear messaging. We caught an email from Delta, but if we hadn’t, we might have missed our flight. The plane was also abnormally loud on board, and the air pressure seemed to fluctuate throughout the flight, making the experience uncomfortable."

Now I am in my seat with both my carry on and personal item stowed below. So was I comfortable ? No. Was I upset and annoyed, on top of being tired? Yes. They need a better system."

I would not recommend Frontier to anyone unless they absolutely cannot afford another airline. There are affordable airlines that do cheap flights well. This is not one of them."

I will no longer fly frontier. I do have to say the staff we very kind and professional."

Cons: "I didnt like the fact that the flight was delayed and a notification wasn't sent to my phone. I had checked the status that night when I checked in and early in the morning and the system said that the flight was on time. It wasnt until I reached the airport and the lady behind the baggage counter told me that the flight was delayed for two hours. I went to go eat with my daughter at the Chilis restaraunt. I figired since the flight was delayed why not have some lunch and head to the plane an hour before take off time. I left the restarant and went through screening. One of the TSA memebers asked me why was I going in so early when the flight was on delayed. I let them know that the flight was suppose to be taken off in an hour so they let me through. As I'm walking through the terminla they have someone walking bu asking if anyone was getting on the frontier flight. I told them that I was on that flight and they told me I needed to hurry up because the plane was about to leave. I became nervous ans started running down the gate to make it to the plane. I'm running with a two year old so Im pretty sure that you can only imagine how difficult that was. Once I reached the gate I was out of breath and it was suppose to be eight minutes before we took off. However we sat on the plane for about another thirty minutes before we left. I feel as though the communication with the airline is not there 100% and if you are sitting in an airport you should be able to hear the update especially when they are not planned ir taking place at a time that is different from what was already relayed."

Adding those $50, price is the same or more expensive than other better airlines. There was no food whatsoever. Almost 4 hr flight and no food....the food they sell is basically snacks...not even a sandwich. The seats are insanely thin and hard. Entertainment? You have to pay for that. Never seen this kind of horrible service. I lost my flight coming back from NY because of the bad weather conditions. The airport was insane, we got off in the middle of the freeway because cars were not moving and started running. I left 3hs30 before my flight and still lost it...thats how crazy it was. Not only they didnt offer any help, they wanted to charge penalty and put me on a flight 4 days from then. Tried calling and explaining, no one cares. Never flying this company again"

Cons: "First, I was not made aware that checking a bag, selecting a seat, and carrying on a bag would each be extra charges on top of the ticket price. If I had known that, I would have used a different airline, because the prices were relatively similar after all of the added costs. Secondly, the actual plane ride was incredibly uncomfortable. The seats on these airplanes do not recline (which is frustrating for a 3.5 - 4 hour flight), drinks or snacks are not free, and most of the other passengers were rude and difficult. I would not recommend this airline for any flights longer than 1.5 hours."

Cons: "I had a prior international flight that landed at 5AM that morning. I hustled through customs to try to make this flight. I asked multiple TSA agents how worried I should be about making my Frontier flight and I was assured that I would have time to make it. After running through the A Terminal, I got to my gate and the doors were already closed and no agent was there. I feel let down by the TSA agents."

Cons: "You have to pay ridiculous prices for just about everything. If water wasn't necessary for basic survival they probably would've charged at least 1 dollar per ounce. You can't recline and leg room is scarce."

I turned around when I heard a loud female voice chastising someone only to find the attendant speaking to a customer. On my return flight, the pilot came in hot causing the wings to sway wildly when on the ground. The stewardess actually said, over the loudspeaker, "yehaw - we're back in Texas!!" This did not comfort me. Also, I travel alot. This was my first experience on Frontier for years. Not impressed with anything but the price."

Pros: "One of the worst landing I have ever experienced. The pilot pancaked the landing. Everything else went as expected. The seats were uncomfortable and small. The staff was super nice. Everything else went as expected."

Cons: "The whole process was bad... from checking in my bags to getting off the plane. The staff was somewhat rude, everything costs money, and the pilot flew like it was his first time."

Cons: "They offered cheap tickets to lure my friend in (she paid for my flight to her wedding as I just moved to another state and was strapped for cash) and only when I arrived at the ticket counter, did I find out that I had to shell out an additional 45 dollars FOR A CARRY-ON!! So, I had to pay 90 dollars, which I didn't have, AND pay for snacks and a beverage, because nothing was open at airport at the time of my flight. The flight crew was mediocre at best, as the flight attendants didn't bother to greet anyone except for the only man in a business suit. If you're going to nickel and dime people, I think it better to charge a little more for everyone's ticket, instead of slamming them with hidden costs. Overall, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth that even the 2 bucks a piece in-flight sodas couldn't wash away."

STA IN A MIDDLE SEAT WHERE ON MY RIGHT AND LFT SIDES WERE TWO HEAVY SEAT PASSENGERS WHER ONE OBVIOUSLY SHOULD HAV BOOKED 2 SEATS. I HAD TO SIT UNCOMFORTABLE THE ENTIRE TRIP - NOT GOOD. MY REQUEST TO MOVE WAS NEVER ANSWERED AND IGNORED. AND, FLIGHT WAS DELAYED DUE TO AN EQUIPMENT ISSUES CAUSING ME TO BE LATE TO A MAJOR EVENT. CHECK IN PROCESS WAS HORRIBLE, LONG AND OTALLY DISORGANIZED. I WILL THINK HARD BEFORE I FLY FRONTIER AGAIN."

Cons: "I got to the airport about 2.5 hours before the flight. There was a sign at the Frontier check-in desk in Houston: "Check-in begins 2 hours before the flight." I was one of the first people in line. Exactly 2 hours before the flight, two check-in agents strolled out and started accepting baggage. By then, there was a very long line behind me of people waiting to check their bags. BE SURE TO READ BAGGAGE RULES! There are many different prices depending on when and where you check in your luggage. And there is a fee for carry-on luggage. Don't get caught at the gate with carry-on that is not already paid for or you will pay a very high price to pay it at that point. Even if you pay in advance, it costs MORE to carry on luggage than to check it. No free sodas or bottled water on the plane -- they cost $3 each. Only tap water is free. And all seats except middle seats were considered "premium" with an extra charge of $13 to $25."

This is the first airline that did not do me the courtesy of an upgrade to emergency exit row at the gate (I'm 6'5). How much for that extra legroom? $80. On a $150 flight. Awesome. Some frontiers are worth exploring. This one holds nothing but shock and dismay. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."

Cons: "It will be better to include the bags in the fly ticket for some reason. Before we checked in, a lady told us to just print the boarding pass and go inside in order for us not to miss the fly when we asked if we can have as discount because we did not know about the carry-on bags. Outside was $55 for a bags and $65 at the gate. Which is $10 more for each additional bags. This is stealing money from people and they are sending passengers away from Spirit airlines. I don't recommend to anyone. Even water, you have to pay for it."

Cons: "First flight of day & Spirit brings out search dogs. The check-in lines were 2 city blocks long!! Couldn't get a cup of water without paying. AND chose to pay for an assigned seat, otherwise, I was worried I wouldn't have one. Good thing, too, as flight was overbooked."

I was asked to remove my headphones during the "captured audience" announcement. The crew looked disheveled and the plane was dirty. The toilets didn't have toilet paper or anything to dry one's hands, but in a wonderful turn of events, I was offered a "complimentary cocktail napkin" when I pointed this out. I understand that Spirit is the "get what you pay for" airline. Apparently I forgot to pay for hygiene, privacy, timeliness, and decency - I'd advise anyone else to remember to pay for them ahead of time."

It was small little bag and the lady told me that unless is my purse or laptop which I didn't have anything other than that I had to pay $50 .I was very disappointed about that."

Cons: "The seats were worn, broken, or just plain dirty. Plain looked like a 20 year old continental plane with spirit stickers slapped on the side. Inside of cabin was visibly old and dirty."

Cons: "Hospitality is not anywhere on this flight, not even a glass of water to drink on a 3 hour flight, this is my first time ever and it's so unfortunate to say I will never fly Spririt Air again"

Pros: "The cost of airfare was good but also competitive with other airlines like American and United. I chose Spirit Air because the flight worked with my schedule."
Cons: "I missed my flight along with others because of a delay going through the TSA security check. Arrived at the gate 14 minutes prior to departure. An international traveler with a small child was waiting to board as well. The CSA had just walked down the jetway and was suppose to return. Four minutes later the flight pushed out of the gate, departing 10 minutes early. The staff knew of the TSA delay. If I had made my flight it would have cost me an additional $100 dollars to check my carry on suite case that I have been flying with for the past two years on other airlines without any fee. Spirit Air requires you to have a smaller carry on suitcase than the rest of the industry. So my $96 dollar fare would now be $196. American Air was also offering a deal at the time for $91, but the time did not work with my schedule. Spirit Air is not a deal. If you check your carry on suitcase on line it will cost you $45. If you check your bag at the gate it will cost you $65. If you check your bag while boarding it will cost you $100. Traveller beware!"

Cons: "Other than the initial price and the so called credits given because of the delayed and subsequently canceled flight towards a round trip flight elsewhere (only having to pay taxes) it amounted to $50 each. More importantly was the unwillingness to use those credits towards the return leg of my flight and therefore having to cancel it and then purchase another one so the $100 credit could be applied. Overall a horrible experience."

Cons: "The seats, no space, there was no way to take a comfortable nap... and there was no on-board entertainment. If you not have a phone, you're out of luck."

Cons: "I have never been charged for a laptop sleeve bag and a carry on before and I've always flown spirit. This was extremely agitating and it kind of ruined my entire day. I had to pay $65 for it. I have flown spirit for years now and never had an issues especially when the flight was empty with plenty of room."

Cons: "Cancelled my flight 12+ hours in advance. Other airlines flew without any problems. Customer service from a foreign country stated they will not reimburse anything. It is in the fine print. Flight the next day had computer issues. Several false atarts of boarding and unboarding. Lack of communication, compassion nor offered any support or remuneration. Rude gate staff. No voucher nor free water. Nada, like their meal brochure states."

Cons: "find fault with each pound if the customer exceeds the weight of the luggage 2 pound the flesh once you have a lot of money and when my wife and l flew from New York to Dallas and we had two small suitcases (roller) the employee ran after us and said that they should be put into the luggage and we said that we have to pay $100 when other companies do not to the same ,these roller were tested for patterns and they have stood the but she told us that you still need to pay a surrender and FLHN on the plane, l saw those rollers and missed the plane, they wewre even slinghtly thicket"

That more than twice most checked luggage fee on other airlines)."

Pros: "THE OUTBOUND FLIGHT (LGA-DFW) WAS MEDIOCRE AT BEST, WITH UNCOMFORTABLE SEATS AND UNFRIENDLY PERSONNEL THE INBOUND FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, SO I SHOWED UP VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING AND I WAS TOLD IT HAD BEEN CANCELLED. IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE WEATHER, BECAUSE ALL OTHER AIRLINES WERE OPERATIVE, BUT I WAS GIVEN NO EXPLANATION. I WAS GIVEN A REFUND EQUAL TO HALF THE TICKET AND I WAS LEFT ON MY OWN. IT COST ME $ 600 ON VIRGIN AMERICAN TO GET BACK TO NYC, ALMOST DOUBLE OF THE R/T TICKET WITH CRAPPY SPIRIT"
