Cons: "The crew was overly aggressive with mask policy enforcement. They patrolled the aisles and routine pointed at passengers directing them in a hostile manner to keep their masks on their faces, even when they were trying to eat or drink. They also threatened customers by stating it was a federal law several times. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. I will not fly delta again by choice."
Cons: "B.S. all the Delta Boarding groups. Geez, have you lost all common sense! C'mon... I understand the ill/med conditions passengers. How about 1 kid, then 2 kids then 3 kids, w/ cataracts, bladder probelems, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Paper, Plus 1, Plus 2, Main Cabin 1, 2 and 3."
Cons: "On my opinion Delta is one of the best airlines. Staff are friendly and they made me feel service. They are really nice and they.take care of been on time and anything you ask them they are there to answer. Great airline"
Cons: "Very late and boarded too long before leaving the gate."
Pros: "Quick boarding, extra space to put things in front of you"
Pros: "We left and arrived early. Smooth flight overall just a great experience"
Cons: "We couldn’t have peanuts. Not really a negative but"
Pros: "Flight was on time, flight attendants were very nice and professional."
Pros: "Great service all around. As comfortable as you can get for a domestic flight."
Cons: "Food was pretty good, but not up to their usual high standards"
Pros: "Flights were on time boarding was easy. 2nd crew from ATLANTA was friendly."
Cons: "The foldable snack tray was broken on the flight to ATL."
Pros: "There was a threat in the airport which caused the closure of one terminal. It happened to be the one from which this flight was due to depart. The crew was calm and able to get everyone on board with a minimum delay, considering the circumstances. The flight crew made up some time in the air and we were able to land less than 30 minutes after our original ETA. Well done, Delta."
Cons: "Lots of delays and sometimes confusing communications from the airlines about departure times."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "You were late per usual. I wouldn’t have a job if I operated like you. It would be nice if there was some accountability"
Pros: "Very helpful crew."
Cons: "Too often the video screen I’m given doesn’t charge up and it has to be replaced mid flight. This happened again during this flight when 2 screens didn’t charge and had to be replaced before the movie ended. The crew was helpful, but this problem is annoying."
Pros: "It was ok. Got there safe and sound. That's what counts."
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "Beverages and biscotti Variety of entertainment Great Crew!!!!!"
Cons: "Only bevarages and biscotti Free entertainment isnt free..$10 wifi charge AND requires personal viewing device Ridiculously small toilets....and only two for large main cabin"
Pros: "One of the flight attendants was nice."
Cons: "AA is now trying to save money (presumably) by doing like Delta: forcing half of us to connect in Charlotte. Unfortunately, the Charlotte airport is not ready to accommodate so many people. The airport looks like it is being renovated, which is fine, but there is no tape/cones to mark off the renovated areas from the walkways. You literally walk through dirt and construction sites. I didn't even think that was legal in the US?! Anyway, maybe it will be worth it once the renovations are complete, especially if AA is going to use it as a hub."
Pros: "Boarding was fast and smooth. The flight was great, seat was comfortable."
Pros: "The boarding process was quick and efficient."
Cons: "This plane did not feature TV at your seat. Only the overhead TV"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "2.5 hour delay going, 3.5 hour delay returning. All because their paperwork had not been submitted on time. Terrible organization."
Pros: "The crew, and the plane, confy. Was a good flight in general."
Pros: "Boarding process was easy"
Cons: "Would've like more entertainment options, like screens at each seat or plug outlets"
Pros: "The sleeper seats. Flight attendants"
Cons: "Temperature during the entire flight was too cold! Food was not great for a first class flight!"
Cons: "Flight was 2 hrs late. Left gate at 11p then sat on runway"
Pros: "I purchased a ticket for my 18 year old dog $ 125.00 each way to fly with me to Kalispell and back. She is so old that she can not SEE, HEAR, or BARK any longer. I understood she needed to be under the seat for take off and landing but I was told by the ticket agent and flight attendants on my first flight that she could sit on my lap during the flight. Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. Feel free to call me 352-804-8344. You may send this to UNITED AIRLINES too!! Thanks Karen Hope"
Pros: "Service was good. Boarding was easy. Snacks were great."
Cons: "Entertainment was limited. On tv and not much to choose from."
Cons: "Heading from BWI to Newark to Boston on 9/29 on United. There were delays at Newark airport which lasted about an hour, and meant that we would be super tight getting in for our connecting flight. We had been told ahead of the departure of the delayed flight that there would be someone on the ground at Newark monitoring the delayed connecting flights, in case a flight needed to be held. Well, we actually landed about 15 minutes before our connecting flight was due to take off. However, we quickly found out that not only were the gates closed early, but the flight tracker was showing the flight had actually left early. There was clearly no communication between on the ground crews, and everyone working at the airport once we landed seemed confused about the situation. By the time we got within eyeshot of our gate, the gate agents were telling us that the Boston flight was already closed. This meant that no one was even monitoring the situation for us, and that they made no effort to hold the plane for the five of us who were supposed to be on that flight. Additionally, that was the last flight to Boston from Newark, so they literally didn't give one iota of care for our situation. I had a 10am wedding to attend that next day, and even after telling the agent this information she still asked me whether I wanted to get on a 10:38am flight to Boston, which made exactly zero sense. After all of this, she ended up getting me on a flight into manchester (that flight had been delayed for 3 hours by this time, and was delayed again after I was booked on it) which landed at 1:24am, a full two hours and some change after I would have landed in Boston, and a full hour away from Boston. Luckily, my boyfriend had his car and was able to pick me up. I finally got to Boston around 2:45am. My suggestion to the airport crews is to actually communicate when you have issues like this. It wasn't our fault, but we were greatly inconvenienced and they did not make an effort to prevent the situation at all. Adding to this, our pilot for that first flight told us that the reason for the first delay was that Newark was congested with too many flights into and out of the airport. THAT is entirely their fault for not being able to properly gauge their own capacity and should not have ended up inconveniencing passengers! I end all this with an additional inconvenience- when I arrived for my flight on Sunday at 4:40am for a 5:55am flight back to DC, I was told that my return flight had been CANCELED. Somehow, in rebooking me on the flight to Manchester. So I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with United to get that fixed at 5 in the morning and nearly missed my return flight due to crew incompetence as well."
Cons: "At the plane door, the crew had me check a carry-on bag, saying they had no more room in the plane. When we got off the plane, others were pulling two and three items out of the overhead storage compartment."
Cons: "Boarding by group is ridiculous. Should be back of the plane people after kids & wheelchairs. One small bag of pretzels & a cup of drink. JetBlue gives many choices of snacks & whole can of drink. DirecTv - $7.99, JetBlue is free. We were a party of 3 that picked our seats to be together. Got to the airport & our seats were split up by desk clerk & she didn't even inform us of seat assignment change. She also put 2 of us in the Exit row without informing us. Did not know we were assigned to Exit row until we boarded. Our overhead bins were full with other passengers carryons. This should not be. Why can't passengers use their own overhead bins. Stewardess would not help us, she said find a spot up front, if not you'll have to check carryons. Terrible."
Pros: "Direct flight to O'Hare. On-time departure and arrival. Clean, efficient"
Cons: "No extra creature comforts."
Cons: "No power in seats, no in-flight TV/movie without paying more, longer flight made that more important."
Pros: "Air crew were attentive and courteous"
Cons: "It’s a budget airline, so I didn’t expect a lot of creature comforts"
Pros: "The crew was great. In a good mood and accommodated my requests. (For complimentary water and a trading card to remember my trip)"
Cons: "Seat was awfully uncomfortable. I’m only a slim built 5’9” woman and my knees were indenting the next seatback. And the aisle was too busy for me but that could have been fixed with paying for a window. I do not recommend flying in these economy seats for any longer than 2.5 hours."
Pros: "Smooth flight on time, attentive staff, easy on and easy off, and bags arrived quick at pickup."
Pros: "Very little. It’s a budget airline and it shows."
Cons: "Plenty. It’s budget in every sense of the word. Everything is an upcharge. Seats don’t recline. Water ain’t free. No snacks. Seats are thin and you’re jammed in. The check in staff is pure amateur hour compared to traditional carriers. Baggage claim was a bewildering mess."
Cons: "late take off 30 minutes waiting for clearance from headquarters not airport"
Pros: "Price was better than other carriers. Seats were adequate, comparable to other discount airlines. Flight attendants did a wonderful job. Flight on time and uneventful. Good experience."
Cons: "I'm still not accustomed to the "pay for everything" approach to flying. I paid the $20 for a seat up front, and shipped my bag ahead via UPS to save money."
Pros: "Flight crew was professional, courteous, kind and knowledgeable."
Cons: "Check in kiosks need to have military options available to avoid paid luggage."
Pros: "Smooth flight. On time."
Cons: "Very tight seating. Seat trays were the size of an iPhone. Seats didn’t recline. 30 rows with 6 per row. Had to pay for pop, water, and coffee."
Pros: "uncrowded, non-stop flight to someplace warm for a low price... how can you go wrong?"
Cons: "just some bad weather out of MKE which delayed us, but that's not the airlines fault"
Cons: "Delayed an hour..while boarded. Happened on flight in too"
Pros: "It appeared to be the least expensive fight on the day I needed it. It was non-stop."
Cons: "It didn't turn out so inexpensive by the time all of the extra charges are added on. The seats are so crammed together it's quite uncomfortable."
Pros: "I like that we eventually arrived at our destination."
Cons: "Gate 17 at IAH smells of what I assume can only be urine. The carpet is sticky and filthy. The gate organization is chaotic and frustrating. Low cost should not equate to what is being offered at Spirit. No pride seen by employees. Book with someone else."
Pros: "If you’re traveling light and you understand their fees, it’s easily the cheapest flight you can get. Maybe not the best airline for all your travel needs, but awesome for a quick weekend."
Cons: "Delays and more delays. 3.5 hours delay boarding. Had us get on plane after first delay, then announced there was no crew and we had to get back off. Nothing is included. Carry on $55, soda or juice $3. Not comfortable. The plane sounded like it was about to fall apart when we landed. Worried for my flight home."
Pros: "Price—got what we paid for—a flight. Nothing more. As the flight attendant stated as she offered drinks or snacks, the only thing free is SMILES!!"
Cons: "Not even a free cup of water! Actually, a cup of ice was free—wow!! Only airline I have encountered that does not offer two free carry-on items—defeats the lower price of your ticket when you have to pay for every little item!!"
Pros: "Crew was very professional."
Cons: "When booking a flight that has a lay-over, the language is not clear to the passenger that each flight requires it's own carry on bag fee. I understand the mission of Spirit but when someone purchases a 1 stop or more trip it can be very costly! Because of this, my flight was no longer cheaper than any other airline that didn't charge for carry on bags."
Cons: "The seats are super cramped. It would be been nice to at least get some water for free."
Pros: "The fact we didn't sit on the plane for an hour after boarding on time so they can kick people off the plane for over booking like they did on the way back."
Cons: "I got an email at 8am saying my flight could be delayed but should show up on time. My flight was at 4:55pm so great start there. So I show up an hour and a half ahead of boarding, which is on the latter side for me. Security lines weren't very long, they just took their time which wasted everyone else's. I get through that line, look at the departure board - wait IT'S ON TIME?! They start boarding soon if it's on time and it's a further gate so I run down there and guess what? Delayed an hour. Okay, that's fine. Go grab something to eat, come back, settle in for a little bit, board - on my sweet way. Go grab some food quickly, come back - another hour delay? What the heck? I must've missed an announcement. Guess I should plug in my phone for the wait, I expected to meet some friends and potential clients layer that night, communication is key. I misplaced my charger, no big deal just went and got one of those power rods (highly recommend) and come back - ANOTHER HOUR?! That's pretty insane. One of my friends flying from Dallas that departed at 7:30 could be up in the air before I am. Step aside, give him a call to update, call potential clients letting them know I will be delayed getting there. No issue. Turn around - my goodness well what do you know, another hour! At this rate I call my hotel, because I can't lose my reservation if I can't check in on time. Hotel was the waterfront crowne plaza (another highly recommended item in this review by me). I plant in my seat, set my roots, meet a few nice people. Figuring I'd kill some time by meeting some great people. Met a family from Detroit and got some awesome food recommendations. Randomly over the speaker - we have another delay - another HOUR delay. Well this is just turning into a horror story, will I ever get there? Should I request a new flight? My buddy in Dallas departed 3+ hours after I was supposed to, and was up in the air already (he landed before me too). At this rate I cancel my meeting. We board, we take off, we land. Woman sitting next to me was nice. Plane didn't crash. Just landed in Detroit about 7+ hours later than expected. All in all, don't take spirit. Looking at prices they are the cheapest, not by a huge margin though. Pay the extra 70 or so dollars to take another airline. Even if it's $150 dollars more, take the other airline. They want to charge you 65 dollars for a carry-on. Their website was created by a 12 year old. Simply getting your boarding pass includes cross and up sells that make the process 10x more frustrating, especially when you know what you're dealing with on the second flight back. (By the way spirit if you can read this I'm a consultant for advertising, digital media, and UI for e-commerce - I can help you with your terrible website and the offers that come along with it) Just take the other airline, any other. It won't save you money most likely, but it will save you a lot of headaches, time, and embarrassment."
Pros: "Quick boarding!! Very efficient!"
Cons: "High fee to carry one bag on. No phone charger at seat. that would be a plus! That's why I rated a 1 on entertainment. There was none. 1 on good. there iwas none. Should have option of n/a."
Cons: "It cost us over $200 extra to take carry ons. I didn't read this in the fine print. $59 each carry on! Each way!"
