Cons: "Free food and baggage"
Cons: "Delay for 3 hrs with very little explanation"
Pros: "Flight, plane, travel were all very good."
Cons: "I did not like that the flight was delayed. But it was no fault of the crew or passengers."
Pros: "Actual flight very nice. Barely any turbulence."
Cons: "Seats hardest seats i ever seen. Tray table tiny."
Cons: "How are you gonna charge me for a cup of ice...was thirsty the whole flught"
Pros: "Easy departure from Tampa. Captain kept us well informed."
Cons: "Took way to long to departure after we boarded"
Cons: "1:45 minutes late leaving now we're sitting on a runway in Chicago for 15 minutes waiting for a gate....... Bullshit"
Cons: "The flight was delayed due to weather, which is fine, the delay was 45 minutes, not a big deal....Here's the but...when it came to boarding time, they announced that it was not going to be boarding by zones and that everyone should just get on the plane. On top of what appeared to be a mass exodus, or perhaps something you'd see in a third world country, those people who paid more $$ to have carry on bags, in zone 1 and be able to board first were most certainly not feeling the value. The gate experience was not well organized or orchestrated. After getting off the plane, our daughter realized once in baggage claim that she left her backpack on the plane. Not being experienced in this area, we asked for help. A police officer told my wife to go to Frontier office, where there was no one in the office, someone else said have them paged. There was no white courtesy phone in the area that was operating, so she went to Southwest and asked if they could page someone to come to the Frontier office and they said no, walked to next terminal to find a working courtesy phone, paged someone to Frontier and within 5 minutes ,10 people showed up. Asked if someone could help. They radioed to the gate that a passenger left their bag. What the rep should have said was that they called the gate, hopefully someone locates and if they do, they will bring it here and we will check on it in a few minutes. The person didn't say a word, 5 minutes later my wife asked what happens now. After a nice sigh and eye roll, the Frontier rep says if they found, they bring it. My wife asked would it be possible to see if they found it instead of just waiting around here for bodies to appear. The bag was eventually found and returned but the experience was just now a good one to say the least."
Cons: "Most uncomfortable seats ever"
Cons: "Will not be using. Hidden charges doe luggage. No complimentary drinks. Filthy conditions. Will not be using frontier ever again."
Cons: "Flight was delayed four hours."
Cons: "No one at the counter before the flight. Everyone was at the gate. I lost my flight and you wanted to charge me anotyer 100 dollars. And i had ti catch a flight frim Orlando and had ti drive myself there. They lost my baggage as well .first night in vegas was ruined by Frontier Airlines. Did not know that I needed my pool sticks to play ahead of purchase new pool sticks they cost $1,200 and I had a purchase 1 days worth of clothes unreal never experienced anything like this such a horrible Airline"
Pros: "Staff was very timely, considerate, and very accommodating."
Cons: "I was late getting to the airport. Im not from here so i endend up at st petes airport. Got to Tampa and Still had 30 minutes before departure and they wouldn't let me check in said they were almost boarded and i missed my flight. So i asked for a refund of at least some of my money and they said with the rebooking fee it would be what the ticket cost. Worst airline i have ever dealt with. I had just moved down here and the whole trip was for me to be able to visit my kids. Never again will i book a flight with this shitty airline"
Pros: "Service was fast and friendly and very efficient!!"
Pros: "Flight was relatively cheap."
Cons: "Flight was delayed from 11:40a to 12:38p. Flight didn't actually take off until about 1p"
Pros: "Everything was on time .. Even during the holiday season when its busiest."
Cons: "Don't like at ALL how they don't ask if you would like a seat preference.. Not just Frontier but ALL airlines !"
Cons: "The delay in departure"
Cons: "There was no communication about how long this delay was going to be. As we approached two hours I became nervous that I was not going to make it for my father's funeral the next day. I spoke to the man at the desk and explained my predicament and he was unable to give information as to whether I should seek another carrier. Ultimately, he said he had 'a good idea' that the flight would be boarding soon, and that I should not go back to the booking area to seek another provider as I might miss this flight. All this was super disconcerting given the gravity of my situation."
Pros: "If it weren't for the convenience of a non-stop flight, I would not fly Frontier. I call the airline "Fleeced Here." They nickel and dime their customers for everything. Seat charge when checking in, carry on bag charge, charge for soft drinks and asking the customer for a 15, 20 or 25% tip for a service that once was part of the flight attendant's job responsibilities. The trip added approximate$ly $150 more to my flight. I will keep that in mind the next time I choose a carrier. My $176 ticket bloomed to $325 before I got home. :("
Cons: "The pilots did a good job of avoiding turbulance and the landing was quite smooth"
Pros: "Convenient, price , better than average leg room"
Cons: "Seats were a little uncomfortable"
Cons: "Steep fees to carry on bags"
Pros: "Fast flight to Denver (3 hours)"
Cons: "very uncomfortable. Nickels and dime for everything."
Cons: "The seats were to close and no very comfortable"
Cons: "Everything cost extra even the carry on bags were $35 each."
Pros: "All went smooth overall."
Cons: "Have to pay for a snack."
Cons: "The seats are literally upright upholstered plywood. There is no legroom and the seats do not recline. You are packed into the plane like sardines. I suppose you pay for what you get."
Cons: "First, flight was delayed over 1 hour for non weather reasons. Next, my seat had NO arm rest cushion. It was missing. I asked the flight crew for a pillow or blanket, i was told they don't have any. They did not care about my seat not having an arm rest cushion. Next, no in flight entertainment. Once we landed, had to wait 15 minutes for an open terminal to pull up to. Then i still don't understand this, we all get up to get our overhead suitcases, and then the flight crew gets on the speaker and tells everyone to sit down because they need to get their suitcases first. Guess customers are not important to Frontier. Then lastly, not frontiers fault, but we then had to wait 1.25 hours to get our checked suitcases."
Pros: "I really liked the great price I got for a round trip ticket to Florida to visit my brother. I compared many flights, and Frontier offered the best deal."
Cons: "I think that next time I use Frontier Airlines, I will spend the extra money on a roomier seat. I felt a bit cramped in the regular seat. I was surprised that I actually had to pay for my seat."
Cons: "On 4/27/16 Frontier sent a text alert that flight 291 was delayed until 21:40. They never sent a text alert or email to passengers that the flight was cancelled. I was notified by Kayak that the flight was cancelled. When I called Frontier to inquire if the flight was delayed or cancelled I was placed on hold a few times. Eventually the representative stated the flight had been cancelled due to a storm. By this time I arrived at the airport & spoke with Frontier representative who stated the flight was cancelled due to a mechanical issue. Later that night I called Frontier to request an email stating the flight had been cancelled (business reason) & was informed they couldn't do that."
Pros: "Timely boarding, flight left and arrived early"
Cons: "Uncomfortable seats, no plug in for electronics, no wifi."
Pros: "The flight attendants were very friendly on this flight, even offering to help me carry my son's car seat as I was traveling with 3 children under 8 by myself (this doesn't often happen with flight attendants on any carrier!)"
Cons: "- boarded early and then made announcement that they were closing the door and everyone needed to board (this was 30 mins. before scheduled departure); my children and I were running to this gate from another gate when we had to make a pit stop at the bathroom for my 2 year old to use the potty - we heard the announcement and sprinted to the gate in enough time, but 1 minute more and they would have had the door closed and not let us on."
Pros: "It was on time."
Cons: "The seats are too small, and not padded much, so it is like sitting on a folding chair. THE SEATS DONT RECLINE. There was a 4" tray table because there isn't room for the normal 8"? (Guess) tray table to go. You can't put a laptop or anything on the tray table. I am a petite girl and i could not bend over in my seat to try snd get your personsl item... My head would hit the seat in front of me...very uncomfotable flight. Everything was an extra: we paid $35 to check each bag and $40 to carry one on. Pay for drinks on flight. No movie. I will never choose to fly Frontier ever again, unless it's my only option."
Pros: "Considering I almost didn't get a seat in the plane even though I paid for my flight prior to the fly day, there isn't much that I did like. However, I do realize that it was not any of the crews fault. With that being said, I loved how informational and informative and polite the flight crew was. Even the pilot had great communication with us and the flight attendants."
Cons: "Well where should I start. Talk about delay and they wouldn't even up date up on the delays either. When I would walk up to the desk and ask he was too busy to answer any of my questions. I also got there early and I aparntly didn't have a seat on the plane! I was going home to supruze my father for easter and there was no way I could have gone any later. I waited for everyone else to line up and go inside and get their seat because I noticed that my ticket has NN on my seat number and my zone was 99. This is very uncalled for. Considering that I payed an outrageous cost for one damn flight to Illinois in which I know you all do every night! They closed the doors to the hallway to the plane and informed not only myself but 3 others to go to the desk and they would figure out what they could! THERE WAS A WOMEN WHO HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET HOME FOR 3 DAYS. So you obviously had screwed her over and now you were about to screw all of us. Now I will say yes I am very upset with you at Frontier. But I was not about to take it out on the people working at the airport. The companies practice of overbooking is unexceptable during this time of year, Easter weekend, and not saving a seat for a women who has been trying to go home for three days. I am very upset and my ticket was very overpriced. Specially for how I got treated, due to he overbooking. Now they had one seat saved/ left over and because I kept my calm and didn't yell at your workers inside he airport they offered it to me. But if it was not for my calmness I would not be home with my family. That right there is unexceprtable!"
Pros: "The crew was pretty friendly."
Cons: "Getting checked in, in Denver was unappealing. The person at the check in desk to get our boarding passes was very unfriendly and it was not busy. She was not overwhelmed or anything, just rude. The trays and the seats on the planes were horrible! I have been flying since I was in 3rd grade and I am about to graduate college. The last time I flew with Frontier it was amazing (it was like 2 or three years ago), and this time it was completely horrid. Next time I will pay extra to fly in more comfortable seats...especially when we are flying a red eye."
Pros: "Did not eat any food ate prior to boarding, was no entertainment on board."
Pros: "Everything. The employees were all friendly from signing in at baggage, during the flight and leaving the plane. The crew was very entertaining (a breath of fresh air), the plane was clean and comfortable. Excellent flight."
Cons: "There wasn't anything I did not like."
Pros: "Very roomy cabin"
Cons: "Absence of basic amenities like water"
Cons: "Flight was scheduled to depart at 9:20 PM on the 24th. On way to airport, I was advised of a 5 hour delay. At that point I returned home (1 hour 15 minutes from TPA airport) by which time the delay advice was increased to 7 hours. I called Frontier and they agreed to rebook me (at no charge) on a flight on Feb. 26th since all flights on the 25th were booked. I just checked and saw that Flt 291 actually departed TPA at 5:02 AM on the 25th. As always, it was stressful trying to talk to an agent having to listen through numerous recordings before I couold connect to ascertain times and make changes. I contacted Frontier at least 5 times and had language difficulties every time."
Cons: "Website is horrible. Impossible to navigate paying for bags. Seats on plane are uncomfortable and don't move."
Pros: "Perfect landing"
Cons: "I didn't have a pillow!"
Cons: "We had to cancel & need to rebook. Have had no help to do so. Maleta Dunne"
Pros: "Plane was clean"
Cons: "Despite the fact that their ticket counter was open for other flight departures, they only allow you to check in beginning two hours before your scheduled takeoff time. This really means you have only an hour and a half until your flight begins to board. On the flight they mentioned wanting more people in the exit row, but you would have to pay an extra $50 because it has more leg room, needless to say everyone chuckled at this blatant ripoff attempt. On the flight you have two pay $2 for a small glass of water, not a bottle but a small plastic cup filled primarily with ice. When we landed we had to wait 45 minutes before the checked baggage began to arrive. Overall this is a very poor airline. Watch out for the fees as they charge you $20 for each airline interaction. I would suggest avoiding them if you can as the price rapidly rises above your ticket cost & the hassles for basic services are not worth the cost."
Cons: "flight was an hour off with no explanation as to the cause. Seats did not recline and were terribly uncomfortable."
Pros: "Comfortable plane"
Cons: "Delayed 3.5 hours"
On time, easy and pleasure Thanks!
Pros: "Great crew. Landing was smooth as butter."
Cons: "Our luggages did not make it on time to our final destination on time."
Cons: "Was charged extra for checked bag because thry said it was too big..they lied and there was plenty of room"
Pros: "The check in process was swift and efficient"
Cons: "1.The plane had a crying child the entire 4 hours and the parents did very little to calm him down. There were other children in the plane but this poor child kept crying and no one helped him.Flight attendants walked past and did not ask the parents to calm the child down. 2. I was seated in third row at the front of the plane. I have never seen so much unprofessional conduct by flight attendants. I fly monthly for work and this was the first time I have seen an A320 plane all 6 flight attendants congregate at the front of the plane to chit chat the whole time. They stopped to serve drinks and went right back to chatting animatedly. I admire that they as coworkers get along but flight attendant is a revered profession and they should uphold it as such. Not act like its a picnic job by laughing and catching up on stories in full view of the entire flight :-( I guess I cant complain too much because its Spirit Airlines after all. You get what you pay for."
Pros: "Great experience overall. Fast check in and boarding. Plane left on time. Smooth reunion with baggage."
Cons: "Wouldnt give me my boarding pass and hour before my flight. Wouldn't refund the flight, and tried to charge me $100 to take off the following day. When I complained online, customer service was awful and had no intention of resolving the issue. I highly recommend completely avoiding this airline."
Pros: "Love the flight attendants very friendly and outgoing"
Cons: "I forgot to check in and had to pay $ 55 two have a carry-on bag but still can't beat the price"
Pros: "The fact that I was charge for being 5 pounds overweight the fact I am military I was not treated well. Also when I was returning from Tampa the ticket agent was very rude and disrespectful. Towards me"
Cons: "Nothing this airline charge for everything. Even a nine dollar fare member have to pay for their meals on the plane."
Pros: "Personnel and crew were friendly. Flight was fine despite the delay."
Cons: "1. Didn't like that flight was delayed over 2 hrs. 2. Once at gate, asked agent to please print boarding pass. Said we could print it at kiosk for free. You mean you CHARGE to print a boarding pass for your airline?????? Seriously??? 3. Carry on and checked baggage fees are INSANE!!!. Probably will NOT fly this airline again. Just b/c you pay an initial low price for a ticket, doesn't mean its actually a good deal."
Pros: "View from my window."
Cons: "1. You should buy everything including water (not even a small snack for free). 2. You should pay for "Carry on' luggage (first time in my life I payed for "Carry on" luggage). If you don't know about it before flight, so you will pay $100/carry on - one way, in airport. 3. You should pay for seat you want (I have never payed for seat. was choosing which I like before 24 hours before flight). 4. You should pay $10 for your printed ticket (in airport), if you didn't print it at work/home before flight. 5. On the plane, something was constantly beating while our flight. 6. One guy from the crew was with lots of Jewellery. In my opinion it was to much and unprofessional. It's a really poor airline. Bad experience."
Pros: "Flights were all on time. Didn't take very long for luggage to arrive."
Cons: "Seats are small."
Pros: "Decent leg room and overhead storage"
Cons: "Spirit comes across as a low price airline but when they finish charging you for everything else such as luggage, snacks, selecting you seats etc. ... discount not so much."
Pros: "The speed at which we arrived at our destination. The comfort and size of the seats."
Cons: "Having to pay for soft drinks."
Pros: "The crew during the flight was pleasant."
Cons: "They say why're the cheapest airline around, and that's true....in the worst ways. The flight itself isn't expensive, but they charge $30 per bag you carry on and more for checked bags. They don't offer free water on long flights, and they make you pay for any and all beverages. Nothing is included in your flight. Their new planes, while 'green' and fuel efficient are unbearably uncomfortable to fly in. The seats are hard molded plastic with about an inch of padding and aren't adjustable T all. Flying more than four hours was pure hell, seated upright. Also, be sure to pay for your bag at the ticket counter. They charge you twice as much at the gate if you don't remember. And it's printed on your boarding pass, so don't think they're letting you off easy. It's a trap to get you to pay more."
Pros: "Cheap fare, newer plane, it was great to get an advance email warning of flight delay so I was able to leave for the airport later."
Cons: "Very little leg room with bulkhead (window) seats, at least in the rear of the plane where Spirit assigned me when I didn't want to pay extra to select my own seat. Simple bag drop at BWI airport meant waiting in three lines because evidently you can't use your boarding pass on your phone, it must be a paper version, so after waiting to drop bag off was redirected to the check in line to get a paper boarding pass, then had to go back to the bag drop line to check my luggage, only to have the attendant there reprint my boarding pass (I don't understand why she couldn't do that when I was in that line the first time). Frustrating experience with the BWI crew..."
Pros: "Like nothing about this experience"
Cons: "I received ZERO correspondence from Spirit since booking my flight, no emails or text message alerts that are often sent by other airlines. Although I should have arrived earlier; TPA was very slow this Sunday morning, I arrived at the check in desk 38 minutes before my flight, had no bags to check in, there was room on the plane when they called to check, and instead of trying to help me board my flight they immediately started trying to sell me another ticket to fly the next day. I overheard that there was several people on stand by, yet it was upsetting that they immediately tried to sell me a ticket for the next day and didn't even try to let me board the plane. I won't fly Spirit Airlines EVER again!"
Pros: "The flight was cool. Staff was cool HOWEVER the lines was extremely long. They don't open their front service in time. I barely made my boarding time and there was A Lot of people for the same flight behind me."
Cons: "Dirty plane. Extremely dirty plane. The fees for almost EVERYTHING was extremely!!!! Expensive. They are getting their money outta ya butt!! straight up!!"
Pros: "Seemed like it filled from the back so no stepping over others trying to get to our seats. It departed early and arrived early. The pilot spoke several times and was very welcoming. The middle seat give away was fun."
Cons: "The charge for carry-on bags $52.00 I had bought 2 tickets one for me and my toddler and I had to pay for a carry on bag. Customer Service extremely rude and slow at BWI and Tampa that didn't even want to argue with them and ended up paying for the bags."
Pros: "Plane was immaculate. Attendants were personable, cheerful. Easy to get my carry on in and out of the overhead bin. Seat was comfortable. Tray was sturdy. The flight was uneventful. And the price was right."
Pros: "This time spirit left on time. Staff was friendly on second flight."
Cons: "Uncomfortable seats. Felt like a sardine. Mini tray barely large enough for anything. Pay extra for everything except your own body. nitnsure if saving 100$ was worth the experience for me. My back was killing me after the flight. Unless flight saves 300 or more and is less then 2 hours I don't think I can do it again. Get what you pay for, and the concept is great but not sure that's a way I want to save money. Some can't afford more or on a tighter budget so I understand this review is biased. I would say in the end that my only complaint with them would be my first flights crew was rude a bit and plane was delayed over an hour not due to weather. Since Spirit is known for being late.. well. Another unsettling thing was on both flights absolutely everyone was very young. From gate to pilots. All in their 20s it seemed. Not sure if I am comfortable just with pilots on bigger planes being so young.."
Cons: "1 hour and 30 minutes late with no apology"
Cons: "We were delayed 8-10 time, an hour at a time. They back 1 hour. I called customer service to find out what the problem was and they were not helpful. I was trying to check in online but could not, and customer service said it would be just fine to check in at the airport. I didn't not know a hard copy of the ticket was needed... and also the flight was showing already full and was worried I would be left without a seat. Upon check in at the airport I paid $115 for 2 carry on bags!! This was completely unexpected as when I booked the flight originally, it was $20-$30 per bag. Lastly, upon landing at our destination which is home, the plane lost power and we were delayed in exiting the plane. I am extremely disappointed and will never fly with Spirit in the future"
Pros: "Everything went smoothly"
Cons: "A lady helping to help us print boarding passes wasn't very professional. She just said, "you have to print your boarding passes before you go check in your bags." Her tone was commanding and rude. Could use improvement and some fine tuning. I know she didn't mean to be rude. Just needs more training. I got the notice of the gate change when I got home to Baltimore. And things are just too expensive. Even though I checked my bags and paid online, I still paid $40. Too expensive. And you pay for every little thing. I would fly Spirit again, but likely not my first choice."
Pros: "Nothing they canceled my flight and cost me time and money. I will never fly spirit airlines again."
Cons: "Everything, canceled my flight. Kayak charged me 75 dollars to use their site. Have no idea how to get that money back. Spirit should refund it and they should deal with kayak. If I could give you less then a star I would"
Pros: "Low Fare!!!"
Cons: "High luggage fee & lower weight limit allowed for luggage"
Pros: "Beautiful flight, good price, on time."
Cons: "Paying for a seat, no carry on privileges, $50 for a small carry on with little weight. Seating was not comfortable, and two bucks for a coffee. Not sure if I would use again or recommend Spirit to anyone. Sorry."
Pros: "I liked how they took car of me with my wheel chair."
Pros: "Everything on both flights from Baltimore to Tampa was perfect. I was very skeptical after reading horror stories about Spirit, but I give them an A+++! Both flights were on time, luggage was not lost, the planes seemed brand new and very clean. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. There were empty seats on both flights and we were able to select another more comfy seat if we desired. Just be sure you read all the "a la carte" charges so you are not surprised. Great job Spirit!!"
Pros: "crew was professional and polite."
Pros: "Kayak always has the best prices."
Cons: "Spirit is very bare bones-$$$ for water!!!"
Pros: "The crew were perfectly nice and had no problems."
Cons: "The flight was oversold and I found the gate agents to be difficult to work with. I purchased my ticket in advance and made it to the airport 2 hours early to check-in and was still not given a seat assignment. I was told 3 different times that there were enough volunteers and I would be on the flight. Those volunteers were told they were not needed and the gate agents told us, the remaining passengers "too bad, this happens, they have seats, you don't." I have worked with many gate agents and though I know there job is stressful, never have I encountered such rudeness and condescension. Also in all the disorganization, the flight left even later than the scheduled delay and people that boarded had to wait until the gate agents figured out the seat arrangements. I was willing to forgo comfort and amenities for price but this disorganization and failed customer service is unacceptable."
Pros: "I liked the price of the ticket. I was looking for an inexpensive ticket without the bells and whistles and Spirit fit those requirements"
Pros: "Every time I've ever flown Spirit I've sworn that I'll never do it again. Others joke about how bad Spirit is as well. But this trip was hassle free and the staff were all super. Maybe I'll go e Spirit another chance"
Cons: "Old plane with no legroom"
Pros: "Personal bags are free"
Cons: "not even free water. water had to be purchased."
Pros: "Seat upgrade was nice."
Pros: "Departure and arrival on time for next flight."
Pros: "VERY RELAXED AND COMFORTABLE"
Cons: "THE REPS. AT THE CHECK IN WERE NOT SO NICE. IT WAS A DO THIS, THEN DO THAT. THEN KEOSK WERE DOWN AND ERRORS. THEN THEY WANTED TO CHARGE FOR BOARDING PASS."
Cons: "The flight was delayed each way and no accurate time of departure could be indicated by anyone. I honestly don't know how this airline makes any money. You couldn't pay me to fly Spirit again. No really, I won't be using those $50 vouchers because your service is that terrible."
Pros: "Flight was pretty smooth. Very polite crew."
Cons: "So what's up with the food and drinks? The best I can get is a cup of ice. Really? Then I have to spend more money for baggage, which is highway robbery in itself. You say its bare fare, but I end up having to spend more on Spirit than other airlines such as Southwest."
Pros: "I arrived."
Cons: "Every time I fly Spirit Airlines, I swear I'll never do it again. Then I see the low fares and I say "okay, just one more time." This experience was another leg in that cycle. A low fare, a "one more time," and a fierce "oh hell no--never again." When I arrived at the airport, the ticket counter looked like a flea market. It was absolutely mobbed. My flight was departing in about an hour, and one woman in line had already been waiting for 2.5 hours. Since Spirit Airlines does not participate in the mobile boarding pass process (FOR SOME INANE GODFORSAKEN BULLSHIT REASON), I still had to check in and get my boarding pass. And since two other Spirit flights had recently been cancelled, the ticket counter line was a trainwreck. An utter mass of dispirited humanity, waiting, ironically enough, at a counter called "Spirit." I managed to maneuver my way through, and with several strokes of luck and a possible intervention from God, I left the sad zoo of passengers behind me and made it through security, to the gate, and into the boarding line, with my idiotic paper boarding pass. As you might imagine, I was somewhat rushed and a touch flustered, though grateful to be en route to my destination. I was thirsty though, a combination of the morning's odyssey, the recycled cabin air, and this human need to hydrate that we share with literally every living thing on the planet. So I waited patiently for the pilot to extinguish the "seatbelt" sign, walked up to the flight attendants and politely asked for a glass of water. "That will be $3.00," she said. I paused for a moment. Surely there must be a mistake. I wanted water. Not coffee or tea or lemonade or a cocktail. Just a glass of water. This is how I came to realize that access to something that is a biological necessity for survival--that I would be granted gratis almost anywhere else--costs, on Spirit Airlines. Only those with access to a functioning credit card will be served water. Now I understand that keeping costs down is the only way this poor excuse for an airline stays in business. Every one of its passengers is there as a personal compromise, dodging hidden fees for "legroom" and seat selection and peanuts at every turn to get to their location without selling their souls to the corporate demons who've re-vamped the age-old "bait and switch" and call it a bargain. But if Spirit persists in being a seething mess of a nightmare of a preposterous front of a business, and if their customers continue to play along and manage to navigate the utter catastrophe of a process it can become to reach a destination via Spirit Airlines, one might believe that once they sit down in their unassigned (unless you're willing to pay an additional $14 each way) se"
Cons: "5 hour delay, Spirt doesn't give out refreshments, average service, charge for carry on"
Cons: "Boarding was slow. Sat on tarmac for an hour. Crew did poor job communicating to the passengers during that time to tell us."
Pros: "On-time, cheap and got us to our destination quickly"
Cons: "Didn't have a printer at home, had to had hunt for a printer to dodge the $10 per per printing fee. Found a printer at a hotel."
Pros: "We can see lots of improvements on down wait times ,Yes we see it ! :)"
Pros: "Non stop between Baltimore and Chicago was the only positive thing."
Cons: "When you do check in you realize that they charge $90 round trip for the second hand bag and $80 for the first checked luggage. I was happy thinking I got a great price, after that I realized I paid over $150 more per ticket than any other airline, the naked price slogan is a scam. None of the seats reclined in the whole airplane and they were very uncomfortable and looked very cheap. They don't even give you soda and chips, not even water, crew were nice but ticketing staff in Chicago was unpleasant. I will never fly spirit again, don't waste your money like I did."
