Very disappointed in my first longhaul flight on Norwegian Air. Check in staff at Boston was snarly, the food was very average, and the leg room in economy was the least I've ever experienced on an international flight. I am 5 foot three and I do not understand how anyone even a few inches taller than me would not be in imminent danger of developing a blood clot. Horrible. This is a Dreamliner? I only had nightmares.

Our flight was suppose to be at 5:10pm. It was cancelled around 10-11pm. Thankfully they were considerate of the fact that I had an infant and found accommodation for us until the next morning, but they were telling passengers at 1am to figure out where to stay until the next flight. Oo and although we knew the flight was cancelled the hassle of getting our bags and going through customs again we didn’t get to our hotel until 2:45am. Most of the staff seemed rude , but that could be because their answer for everything was a sharp “I don’t know”. I can only remember two names of the staff members that were great and put me slightly at ease during this horrible ordeal. Sandy and Suzie were kind and tried to give the best answers they could to the passengers. The flight back was on a Privilege aircraft though Norwegian. The flight attendants were amazing and much more leg room than the newer Norwegian aircraft.

The flight from Boston to Gatwick was most pleasant - plenty of leg-room in Economy Class. The food was somewhat mediocre, especially the snack served at breakfast-time. Overall, however, a very good five and a half hour journey.

The price is low, but not worth the horrendous seating.

Very tight seating. There is almost no legroom and the seats are very narrow. They nickel and dime you for everything. Its hard to even get water. Entertainment choices are pretty weak.

All the hidden charges. My good deal turned out to be worst deal EVER. I paid extra for my my seat and got bump from my seat to a middle seat. Icelandair attitude suck about the whole thing too and could careless too. After this I don't even want to go to Iceland or have the Kayak app on my phone. Kayak and Icelandair, will do everything to let everyone know how miserable you made my vacation.

This is one of the best airlines I've ever flown. Very nice comfortable planes. Excellent air crew. Everything they do is at a high standard. What really sets them apart is the really great service. I had a problem with WOW air not honoring my ticket due to snow. I had to book at the airport on Iceland air last minute. They didn't have a gate agent who could sell me a ticket - so they sent a manager out from the back office to book us so we would not be stranded due to WOW's incompetence. Booked us just minutes before take off, escorted us through security and onto the plane. Start to finish less than 30 minutes. Amazing service. Their class of service is far above that of major carriers. Iceland Air works harder and makes sure everything is right.

Entertainment system with responsive touch screens, good sound and lots of choices. Flight on time. Professional crew.

Limited food selection (all food cost extra) and food was mediocre. Boarding in Reykjavik was slow and not well organized. While the crew hands out small water bottles upon boarding, more water should be offered during a long flight.

Plane was new, fare was cheap

Tiny plane for transatlantic (A321). Flight is 2 hours longer than other airlines. NO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM! You’ll be climbing the walls with boredom. They only do one beverage service and don’t even offer water. Disgruntled flight crew. The money you save in the fare will cost you in your sanity.

I missed my flight. My flight to Newark was delayed and I was unable to get to my plane in time. Also I couldn’t find a boarding pass after I checked in online, so I wouldn’t have made it through security anyway.

Lights in the cabin were on for well over half of the 6 hour overnight flight. Baggage fees were $90 per bag each way and even normal carry-on bags were required to be checked. Should be illegal to charge that much for bags.

Stewards and stewardesses were nice and helpful, even if they looked a little worried when they weren't self-consciously smiling. The sandwich was much better than I thought it would be, and not that expensive given its size. Why can't you put in pay-for-play entertainment. I'd probably pay for something that's reasonably priced.

There seemed to be some trouble at CDG. The staff in the airport and on the plane looked worried. They checked most people's baggage at least twice. Airport personnel even boarded the shuttle to the plane a couple of times before it left. They asked a lot of questions about people's laptops. The plane seemed to be flying low. There was a thud at one point. It was kind of scary. At the end the captain kind of babbled over the loud speaker for a long time, but it wasn't clear what he was saying. The landing was perfect, though.

Good price, and for me it's very convenient to fly from the US east coast into London Stansted. Plane was pretty new.

Chaos on boarding. Late gate change was poorly communicated. The gate we ended up at was showing some other airline's flight , and Primera's was showing up at a nearby gate. Huh ? There was a lot of confusion. Maybe not entirely Primera's fault, but they could have communicated better. You pay for everything, even a drink of water ! Put in a few coins to use the bathroom - ok, just kidding on that one, but maybe that's next 8-{ In the past I have paid for a hot meal, but it wasn't good, and not worth the money. Better to pick up some food before the flight.

Friendly crew. Finnair subcontract to British Airways so this was a BA flight at a better price. Flight was far from full enabling me to stretch out.

Unable to pre select seats because the arrangement makes you neither a full BA or Finnair customer. Food was just about edible and that was the better non vegetable option. The plane was old and the in in seat screens were old too, with poor resolution (no touch screen to illustrate the aging technology). Although the entertainment selection was relatively current the aging connection in the arm rest, coupled with cheap ear buds made for a poor listening experience.

Got to London on-time (early, actually) and safely. The in flight meal was okay. The leg room in comfort plus was great, the mobile app was awesome, and the staff (check-in, gate, cabin and flight deck) were professional and friendly all around.

The leg room was great, but as a broad-shouldered guy, the width of the seat was miserable. Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight.

Price for the flight was nice from NYC - JFK to London for me. Useful to have budget airlines for further distances, if you don't mind missing large chunks of basic amenities. Bathrooms on this flight were more clean and nicer than most flights I've been on too.

I did not like the extremely long and inefficient way they board onto planes. They say they are starting to board and then we waited over 20 minutes just to hear who was going to board first. Then they ask for rows 18-28, leaving out the rows 29-36 or something like that, which created an extremely long and late boarding process. Once they started boarding people it was a giant mess in the waiting area and of course, once people have their ticket scanned, then you continue to wait in a long line past the kiosk for another 10 minutes. Getting Food, drink, and even the Customs Form was really inefficient -- the person with the forms walked quickly down the aisle and missed me because he was looking at the other side and not checking with each aisle like most flight attendents would. I ended up getting my customs form taking it from the drink cart when it was sticking out.

NOTHING. My experience won't fit in the negative comments, so I'm starting it here. (1/4) We had a 21 hour layover in Iceland, so we left the airport for the night. The next morning, on our way to the airport, we tried to check-in online, but the online check-in service was not working. We arrived about two hours before our scheduled departure and had to wait in a long line since the online check-in service was not working. We checked our bags and ran into our first unfortunate encounter with the airport staff. He sent my friend's bags through, without checking the weight. When he weighed my bag, he then noticed that the first bag sent through was overweight, and mentioned that he had made a mistake. He decided to weigh both our bags together as one entity (to equal 88 lbs.) and made me empty out my suitcase of the extra weight from not only my single bag, but the extra weight from the first bag, as well. He said it was too late to retrieve the first bag, so my friend and I had to divvy up my stuff between our carry on bags. Had we known the first bag was overweight, we would have been able to easily taken stuff out of our OWN suitcases and into our OWN carry ons. Which would have been helpful for what was to come... We then walked through the foodcourt to buy some overpriced snacks for the plane. When we decided it was time to go to our gate, we passed a horrifically long line of people that we assumed couldn't be the line to get through customs, because the last few times we had been at this airport, there was always a maximum of 20 people in line. Once we realized that this line was for customs, we asked an employee working the line if we'd be able to make our flight on time if we had to wait in this line. He said not to worry, that we would be okay, because all of the airlines were notified of the unexpected delay at customs. We patiently waited in this line, and as soon as we were through, ran to our gates. At this point, we knew we were going to JUST miss the time for the gate to close, but were consoled by the fact that the employee at customs had told us that the airlines were notified that some of us would be late arriving due to the unexpected delay and line. We arrived at the gate, and the airport staff working the gate laughed in our faces and told us it was too late. They said they never heard from anyone about any delays at customs, and that the transportation bus to the airplane had left ten minutes ago. "Too bad!" they said. How could it have left ten minutes prior, if the gate said it had closed only a few minutes before we arrived? A lie. We asked about our luggage.

(2/4) They said that they would notify the plane, and the bags would be taken off, and that we could find them at baggage claim. So let me get this straight - the plane can wait for someone to sift through all of the baggage, find our bags, and remove them from the plane, but wouldn't allow us to take the probably less time to just get on the plane? We asked if there was anyone from WOW that we could speak to, and they pointed us in the direction of another gate. Once we got to that area, there was another group of people that also missed their flight due to the unexpected line at customs. They were speaking with a lady who was telling them that no one from WOW was at the airport, they all went home for the day. We also attempted to talk to this lady, but she was in a hurry to leave for the day, as well, and was very dismissive and talked to us in passing. On our way to baggage claim, we passed customs, which by this time, had no line. We spoke to three people that were standing in that area, and were looking for the guy who told us that our plane was notified of the delay. He was no longer around, but the staff standing there had said that they were unsure why we were told that any aircrafts were notified of delays because that was not true, and that they also were not even ALLOWED to tell travelers this information. So.... the guy that we spoke to in the customs line lied to my face, and was not even allowed to tell us what he did. This infuriates me for MANY reasons. If I had known that we would not make it through the customs line in time, I would have politely asked other travelers towards the front of the line if we could pass them. Most people are very nice, and would of course let us in front of them. I know I would have done that for someone. But instead, since a KEF AIRPORT STAFF told me that MY PLANE WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DELAY, I patiently waited in line. Yet another lie. We finally got to baggage claim, and spoke with one of the employees there. He told us that he was not aware of any bags coming back in, but it usually takes about 30 mins. At this point, it probably had already been that long, but my friend waited anyways. Meanwhile, I went back to the check-in area to see if there was anyone available to talk to about the circumstances, or if there was another flight we could get on because both my friend and I had to work the next day. There was no one anywhere, except for at the the Icelandair counter. The woman I spoke to there was very nice (shocker), but there was nothing she could do, that all of the flights leaving the airport to the US for the rest of the day had just closed their time for purchasing tickets. If we had not been lied to and if the staff had not been rude and pointing us in all different directions, I probably could have gotten us on a flight out that night. But yet again, we JUST missed the mark due to being misinformed and mistreated by the airport staff.

No frills budget carrier, mostly exactly as I expected.

If you overbuy luggage allowance, there is no way to undo it, even within 24 hours. I made a mistake, thinking I needed to purchase more luggage, recognized my mistake right away, and still ended up paying for luggage allowance I didn't need.

The flight was comfortable and the cabin crew attentive. The 7-hour flight time can't be beat. Free checked bag. On this occasion, the boarding in Reykjavik was through a jetway so you weren't exposed to the weather, though that's not always true.

Even using a jetway, boarding in Reykjavik is ridiculous, with inadequate seating and lots of standing around in confusing lines. They had four US/Canada flights leaving within 10 minutes, with the gates 10 feet apart and about 600 passengers jammed in four lines running through the concourse.

We did not fly Icelandair since our flight was cancelled but they took excellent care in booking us on another airline and all worked out. Icelandair has excellent customer service!

All the hidden charges. My good deal turned out to be worst deal EVER. I paid extra for my my seat and got bump from my seat to a middle seat. Icelandair attitude suck about the whole thing too and could careless too. After this I don't even want to go to Iceland or have the Kayak app on my phone. Kayak and Icelandair, will do everything to let everyone know how miserable you made my vacation.

Entertainment system with responsive touch screens, good sound and lots of choices. Flight on time. Professional crew.

Limited food selection (all food cost extra) and food was mediocre. Boarding in Reykjavik was slow and not well organized. While the crew hands out small water bottles upon boarding, more water should be offered during a long flight.

Plane was new, fare was cheap

Tiny plane for transatlantic (A321). Flight is 2 hours longer than other airlines. NO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM! You’ll be climbing the walls with boredom. They only do one beverage service and don’t even offer water. Disgruntled flight crew. The money you save in the fare will cost you in your sanity.

Stewards and stewardesses were nice and helpful, even if they looked a little worried when they weren't self-consciously smiling. The sandwich was much better than I thought it would be, and not that expensive given its size. Why can't you put in pay-for-play entertainment. I'd probably pay for something that's reasonably priced.

There seemed to be some trouble at CDG. The staff in the airport and on the plane looked worried. They checked most people's baggage at least twice. Airport personnel even boarded the shuttle to the plane a couple of times before it left. They asked a lot of questions about people's laptops. The plane seemed to be flying low. There was a thud at one point. It was kind of scary. At the end the captain kind of babbled over the loud speaker for a long time, but it wasn't clear what he was saying. The landing was perfect, though.

I missed my flight. My flight to Newark was delayed and I was unable to get to my plane in time. Also I couldn’t find a boarding pass after I checked in online, so I wouldn’t have made it through security anyway.

Price was very inexpensive, crew was polite and efficient and our flights were on time. The food was fine, but a little overpriced.

No entertainment, but that’s how they keep costs low. Seating was not incredibly clean.

No frills budget carrier, mostly exactly as I expected.

If you overbuy luggage allowance, there is no way to undo it, even within 24 hours. I made a mistake, thinking I needed to purchase more luggage, recognized my mistake right away, and still ended up paying for luggage allowance I didn't need.

Nice newish planes. Competent but basic service in the air. Nice air crew.

Ground agents are bad. Don't care about you. Won't answer questions. Don't care what happens to you. Don't care if you make your flight, or if your connection is delayed. There is no phone support. If you have a problem - you're on your own. Online checkin is broken. Does not work at all.

The price is low, but not worth the horrendous seating.

Very tight seating. There is almost no legroom and the seats are very narrow. They nickel and dime you for everything. Its hard to even get water. Entertainment choices are pretty weak.

Maybe they should call these flights "Byzantine Airways". Finnair doesn't fly Boston to London, so my Finnair flight was on British Airways, but I did it that way because BA wanted more money that day. As a flight, it was OK. I don't think I have much to say about Finnair.

Very friendly and helpful cabin crew. Excellent boarding procedures. The food wasn't awful. Everyone seemed relaxed and upbeat...maybe because the holidays are approaching.

The rolls were ice cold, and the butter was not real butter. My husband found the seats cramped, and little foot room. I'm 5'2" and they were ok for me. The child behind me screamed and then projectile vomited for the last half hour of the flight, which can't be laid at BS's door. Many people were still on their cell phones and laptops during the whole takeoff, despite multiple announcements. I would have kicked them off.
