Check in person played on her phone and didn’t even look at you when asking what seat was I assigned . Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

When it did come time to board, they told everyone in the line that was going to Cincinnati that we couldn't check in until 2 hours before the departure time. Apparently there were some other flights that left before us. If they had told us to keep our place in line and to let other people through, that wouldn't have been a problem. But, they didn't. Their own website says you should check baggage at least 2 hours before your flight and no more than 4 hours before. They took it upon themselves to change the rules on people who arrive early. Then, once they no longer had anyone else to check in, they changed their rules again and start checking in people for Cincinnati about 2.5 hours ahead of time. A little communication and brain power from the staff would have gone a long way. After all that mess, the flight was delayed leaving about 15 minutes without any updates from Allegiant either."

Cons: "Where to start... i guess for starters EVERYTHING is an upcharge. I was suprissed the seatbelts were included! Less legroom than a Cesna 152 and surrounded by 159 of my closest friends. And i mean SURROUNDED. That cabin is SO tight! So tight in fact the seats are a blow mold plastic with roughly 1.5" of foam and fabric. Think go-cart bucket seat with some foam rubber and pleather. Then there's luggage... My carry on bag (that I've used for 15yrs) was too big for the jig at the counter so got to check it for an additional $10 (above the $30 i had to pay to bring it) and they charged me $40 for my original check bag. The hitch is that they only allow 40lbs ($1/lb) for that check bag when the rest of the industry says 50lbs is the norm. Oops, gotta pay for that too! And wait for it... sodas are $2 in flight!"

We had landed and were just sitting and waiting on a gate to open. My fellow travler happened to be on her period n was told No she could not use the bathroom. After the 3rd time of her being sent back I got up with her and a tampon in hand n told the staff they had no choice she was using that bathroom. Of course they had to phone the captain and ask for permission which he ok it, but seriously , what are we supposed to do just sit in our blood. That was not cool."

The representative at check-in told me that the flight was coming from LaGuardia airport and was delayed due to bad weather (which I can still believe to be true despite any evidence of severe weather when I checked online). No one (from the check-in desk to the boarding gate) had any information about the delay and we were sitting clueless at the gate as the departure time kept changing frequently. No frontier crew was present at the gate to answer our queries or to provide reasonable respite in terms of water or meal vouchers at a very cold airport (heating wasnt working for some reason). This was aggravated by the fact that there are no complimentary drinks/meals on the flight. I would also like to point out a cheap trick that the airline tries to fool passengers with. They try to charge you for your seat when you check-in online. You have to skip seat selection to avail a seat at no extra cost. This on top of carry on baggage fees. It doesnt sound like a budget airline to me. A cheap one, for sure."

They were then hand picking who they would let in line, based on their flight and boarding pass. In addition to this I didn't want to spend my day at the airport so I booked another flight home. THEN to realize HE made a mistake..... That was the flight delayed! I then had to ask for a refund and explain that he mixed up my flight. Had 40 min to make it through security at that point. It's been 3 weeks and still no refund. Never again!"
