Cons: We need quality options for snacks.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: I liked the male flight attendants on my flight. They were nice and cheery and was always willing to help. The inflight entertainment and WiFi was great. The snacks were also good.
Cons: I forgot to the flight attendant’s name but she was quite rude. I traveled with an infant who required warming up of her milk in a bottle and I would ask for hot water and she failed to bring it over. I requested hot water twice. Initially when the plane was taking off- she stated she cannot bring anything while the flight was taking off but even after take off and in cruising altitudes she did not come over until we rang the call bell and another flight attendant came over. Second time mid flight we happen to ask the same flight attendant for hot water as she passed by— she nodded her head but again never returned with the hot water. Again I hit the call button and another attendant came over and gave me water. I felt that she did not like attending to the flight guests and always seemed to give an attitude. I understand traveling with a child may be hard for others, but imagine the parents who have to care for a starving baby. The flight was also a bit too warm.
Cons: The headphone jack.was worn out, so the audio was sporadic.
Cons: Flight was very delayed, waiting on pilots to arrive. The. We sat on the runway for a long time without leaving as well. Crew also made us gate check bags when there was still plenty of overhead space left on plane.
Cons: Horrible communication during flight delays and pilot timing out. Sat at the gate for hours with no communication.
Pros: The seats were comfortable, and the crew was friendly.
Cons: Entertainment units were just there for the sake of it, and didn't actually provide any entertainment
Pros: The delay
Cons: Don’t be delayed
Cons: JetBlue is amazing and my favorite airlines for domestic travel.
Pros: Boarding process was smooth, and attendants were kind and entertainment system seemed good.
Cons: Attendants could allow passengers to use extra leg room seats if they are empty once in the air. Would be great if the default setting for the screens was OFF.
Pros: Plenty of leg room in economy seats.
Cons: clearly communicate delays. We had no idea what was happening or what our options were.
Pros: Boarding was fast and easy but that may have been because it was a small plane.
Cons: After landing we sat on the tarmac for 2 hours! This is unacceptable. The gate was occupied by a plane having mechanical issues. This was the second time I have flown JetBlue and the second time I’ve had to sit on the tarmac for hours because of some sort of issue. Never flying JetBlue again if I can help it.
Pros: The movies were okay. The crew was accommodating.
Cons: We spent 45 minutes on the tarmac, enough time to watch the baggage personnel throw our bags into his trolley with zero reason for him to do so. If you pack anything fragile... good luck.
Pros: Easy boarding and flight
Cons: There’s nothing special about jet blue anymore.
Cons: The new security check in with the automated bins.
Pros: Huge leg room in coach. Free large bag of snacks and they didn't charge me for a snack box filled with chumous, bean dip, crackers, biscotti etc value $9. I thought Jet Blue was like Spirit, but its TOTALLY different. Not at all a budget level airplane or crew.
Pros: Extra leg room, comfortable, leather seats, cleanliness of the cabin, efficiency and friendly manner of the staff, assigned seating and enough room in the gate area to be comfortable. I also appreciated being able to hear and understand all announcements made in the gate area and on board by the support staff and the captain.
Cons: Some passengers in the gate area were "seat hogs" sitting in one seat and taking up one to two extra seats for their baggage while people were trying to find places to sit, especially when we experienced delays.. This is not the fault of the airlines, however, but it occurs to me that there could be gentle reminders on in print or in announcements asking people to make room for other passengers.
Cons: 2 hr delay. Poor ventilation
Pros: Leg room was great. Free WiFi and TVs made the flight very accommodating.
Cons: Crying baby. Not the airlines fault.
Cons: Flight over 3 hours late leaving. Flight attendants rude, and nothing comped for drinks or food to make up for it. Had to circle for 45 min due to weather. Sat on tarmac 30 mijn on other end.
Pros: Having a tv
Cons: Sound jack not working properly , older plane no amenities
Pros: The crew could not have been more helpful and pleasant making the delay bearable as they were overtly communicative w all via text, email, and in person keeping is updated! HIGHLT RECOMMEND and will definitely be flying again. :)
Pros: Great service and smooth flight. On time, all good things.
Cons: An individual who was very overweight sat next to me and took up half of my seat as well. I understand we all deserv to ride comfortably and my intent is not to shame them. That said, if someone can’t put the armrest down I think the airline should require them to purchase both seats as it’s very uncomfortable to be in the position of having no seat for the entire ride. I’m an average sized person so it was a challenge but even tiny people deserve the full seat they purchased. There really should be a rule or something.
Pros: Wide array of snacks and drinks, tv/movies to watch for free, excellent staff from beginning to end, and tons of legroom. The complimentary free check of my carryon way awesome.
Cons: I liked everything! No complaints at all.
Cons: Six hours late, then there wasn’t enough fuel and had to wait for paperwork multiple times. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had. I will not be flying JetBlue again.
Cons: Almost a 9 hour ordeal. 4 hour delay because of weather for flight because one crew that was supposed to take our flight had “timed out.” Didn’t take off til after 1am. Finally landed and sat on plane because a plane at our gate was “disabled.” It’s 4:33am, I’ve been off the plane for half an hour, no baggage coming out of the carousel yet and no sign of this absolutely horrific experience ending anytime soon.
Pros: Loved all the available dedicated JetBlue staff available to answer questions. Have not flown JetBlue often but heard many great things.
Cons: Weather delay which is out of JetBlue’s control but once we landed (6 hours later) we sat on the runway for an additional hour because our gate had a disable airplane occupying it. I think JetBlue could have done a better job ensuring a back up gate was available or giving their passenger updates on the situation.
Pros: The crew was great, and so was a JetBlue pilot dead-heading in the seat next to me. I liked the space in the MoreSpace seat I paid for. I relieved that the upgrade seat came with boarding in the first group. Some airlines you pay for the seat, but you're still group 3 or 4 and, meaning all sorts of anxiety about the most miserable part of any flight, the dreaded fight for the overhead bins, wondering it you'll have to check the bag and then wait for it at the destination. Thank you for removing that.
Pros: The leg space
Cons: Delay and the space between seats
Cons: I never got the opportunity to fly because I was stuck in unusual traffic in a tunnel for over an hour just minutes from the Boston airport. I was later told there was a fire. I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !
Cons: I was delayed half a dozen times, only to be canceled. Rescheduled on a flight that was scheduled to depart two hours before the original flight. Rescheduled after an hour hold. That flight was delayed the following day. Was diverted to Baltimore only to find out only some of us on our flight are getting out by a rude agent. Then no information at all. Had to run to catch an amtrak. Later found out if I stayed I would have stayed another 13 hours in Baltimore. Missed work and had no one home to take care of my family. Oh, and travel insurance will not cover anything. The plane itself was falling apart. Seat was broken and dirty. Everyones lights were broken and it smelled.
Pros: JetBlue has great staffdelayed by an hour
Cons: Delayed by an hour for a 2 hour flight!
Pros: I liked that I arrived safely albeit it 6 hours later than I was supposed to land.
Cons: Our flight was delayed. We were not told our flight was delayed until an hour before the flight was to take off. Then they kept switching the time we were going to take off later and later then earlier then later and later. It would’ve been nice if we got an updated time that we were going to leave- just say come back in six hours rather than make us get up and get down, board the plane, then get off. and get up again then change gates I could not get any work done. I understand that sometimes schedule can be unpredictable but this was ridiculous. One plane that was supposed to leave after us actually left before us and people were getting upset
Pros: When I got off the plane
Cons: it was late, the plane was dirty, the tv screens didn't work, and the seats were small.
Pros: I didn't like much of anything EXCEPT THE FREE WIFI. While it's nice to have all the bells and whistles (free in flight TV/movies, snacks/beverages, etc.), the basics need to be met too - which they weren't.
Cons: I didn't like that the plane was delayed 1.5 hours for no good reason. Why have us sit on the plane in a cramped atmosphere instead of delaying it at the gate first until your ducks are in a row? Then the in-flight entertainment audio periodically cuts out, and they were resetting the TV system over 3 times. In addition, I had requested a price reduction when I booked the flight since JetBlue's website is buggy and the price went up $80 in front of my eyes while other people booked the seat I wanted, and they weren't willing to give me anything.
Pros: I can’t say there was a single thing that I liked. I suppose if I had like something I would say the pizza I ate before my flight was pretty good.
Cons: I didn’t like that yet again, my flight (to PBI) was delayed for hours and then upon boarding and making it to the runway, was told that I would be getting back off the plane because we no longer had pilots. I think its good that there is a limit for the amount of hours pilots can fly but to leave an entire plane, the last flight out in particular, to have to wait an additional 2 hours to wait for new pilots is a little ridiculous to me. On top of that, I decide that I would rather go get a hotel than wait to fly out at 1am in the morning, I come to find that I will have to leave my checked bag on the plane and go to my hotel, in Boston, in 17° weather, without a coat or my toiletries, my phone charger....everything I would have needed went to PBI without me. Needless to say, this was by far my worst experience flying Jetblue. And to top it off, this was the second time this trip (flying out of PBI to Boston earlier left me delayed for 5 hours) that I felt like what I enjoy about Jetblue was not at all what I receieved. I understand that the holidays are a challeging and busy time for airlines, but it feels like PBi flights are by far the worst and that for some reason, Jetblue flights for PBI to Boston, and Boston to PBI are nightmares. Very disappointed.
Pros: leg room & movie
Cons: Late flight delayed
Pros: Most of the basics were good.
Cons: The flight was substantially delayed and when we got to Chicago we had to wait a long time for a gate agent so that we could deplane because only one gate agent was working at that hour (10:20 p.m.). Also, the flight delay notifications came after I was close to the airport and at the airport--earlier notifications (if possible) would help. The tv/movie portion of the entertainment was not working at all.
Pros: Changed to 3 hour earlier flight WITHOUT extra "change fee". It was FREE !! Enjoyed in flight TV with FREE drinks and snacks. As United goes backwards in customer service and costs, JetBlue leaps forward. Good work JetBlue.
Cons: More options in snack boxes and/or food items
Pros: Excellent service
Cons: Too long flight time I noticed the plane speed was 440 MPH most of the time. This may be the first flight I sat which was flying this slow
Pros: Solid crew, comfortable flight, free tv and Wi-Fi
Cons: A few factors led to a 6 hour delay. Not necessarily Jet Blue's fault but it was certainly a frustrating day of travel
Pros: The plane had 2 wings
Cons: Staff is rude. Customer Service couldn't possibly be worst. All their food has meat in it. Staff is slow and incompetent. Never had a more dreadful experience with an airline. TAP IS THE WORST AIRLINE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED, and I fly 2 times a month.
Pros: I loved the leg room!!!!! It was wonderful after coming off the AerLingus flight and feeling like a pretzel.
Cons: We had a short span of time between our flight from Dublin. I worried the whole time I was not going to make it since it said doors close at 2:04 and we landed at 1:55 or something close to that. When I got off the plane the gate agent told me AerLingus does theirs differently - that meant that is when they started boarding. It would have relieved a lot of stress if they had explained that. Also, our luggage didn't make it on the flight. Said it was stuck in customs since it did not have enough time. Understandable, but why didn't someone from JetBlue come out and get us instead of making us wait at the luggage terminal for 30 minutes before we went and checked. Also, they told me on the phone that my luggage would arrive at 7 and it came at 4 - luckily I was home. What would have happened if I was not?
Pros: The on flight tv was down so I couldn't listen to music like I nearly always do on my flights.
Cons: I didn't like waiting on the tarmac after we landed for what seemed like 25 minutes or so
Pros: When I sat into my comfortable seat with its amazing leg room, I asked the woman next to me if she had flown Jet Blue previously. She replied that it is now her favorite airline. At the end of the trip I agreed that it is a distinctly different and great airline. My complaint is that I have to travel from NE Wisconsin to Chicago in order to use Jet Blue. When are you coming to MKE? The way the food and drink orders were handled worked well, and the selections were amazing! Needless to say, the media offered was wonderful.
Cons: The crew did a good job, but one of the female staff seemed stressed. I hope she was able to get some relief and rest.
Cons: Filght ( Jetblue )got delayed by 3 hrs from Boston to Newyork , and travel got postponed to the next day due to this and rescheduled in Qatar airways. There was lot of inconviniences, time losss and personal adjustments occured along with the financial loss due to the change of travel date.
Pros: Seat very v=comfotable
Pros: Plane was new and equipped
Cons: In first class we had beef jerky for breakfast
Pros: Sanitized, open middle seats, comfortable
Cons: We were stuck on the tarmac for 40+ minutes due to our gate being blocked by another plane. We almost missed our connection and had to run through the airport with our luggage and the staff at our second gate yelling “hurry up” at us like it was our fault.
Pros: Friendly crew
Pros: Great crew.
Pros: Everything! the best part was that the they kept the middle seat empty!
Cons: For some reason, we were asked several times for Passports. This didn’t make any sense since we are US citizens with drivers license. They even had TSA talk to us. This has to be fixed. Otherwise, Delta experience was great.
Pros: Don’t go overboard
Cons: Good for now
Pros: Well organized and easy to check in.
Cons: Nothing, really. Airlines unfortunately can’t make people patient or polite, & I can’t afford a private jet, so I’ll have to settle for an eye roll or twelve.
Cons: It’s time to update the snacks, bu thank you for serving more than just peanuts. I was very cold on the flight - unusual, but definitely very chilly.
Pros: Delayed boarding but made up for lost time in the air
Cons: Delayed boarding
Cons: The inoperative TV screens should be repaired.
Pros: Was boarded promptly
Pros: You know what you are getting with Delta
Cons: The economy seats were really tiny, this made the flight fairly uncomfortable
Cons: Plane was late taking off. Crew did not provide water when requested. They were busy with beverages that they could sell at a cost.
Pros: Seat was comfortable and I got extra Biscoff Cookies
Cons: Great trip
Cons: The flight attendants were quick with the pick up of drinks. I had only been served my drink for five minutes and they were already coming around to pick up trash.
Pros: Smooth flights and in time. Everyone is so nice. True professionals
Pros: Seating was fine
Cons: Did not have a wheelchair waiting for my wife when we arrived in LAX
Pros: Everything was great. Has nothing to do with the airline, just rough weather.
Cons: The stewardess could come around more. Just twice. Once for food. Once for trash. Just me tho
Cons: Delays due to Democrats not making deal
Pros: Good service this morning
Cons: All good
Pros: I was trying with a broken arm - the Crew both on the plane and off the plane was wonderful
Cons: Would like more food available-not for purchase but with what comes with your flight
Cons: We left 30 minutes late due to congestion and I missed a layover. Otherwise it was a great experience
Pros: Everything went great. Flight left a little late but was fine and only arrived a little late. I like the side wings on head rests really help.
Cons: Seats are always hard on long flights.
Cons: Delays, delays, delays... first class ticket from BOS to MSP got me a 6 hour delay and a middle seat in econ main cabin at the back of the plane. Delta you suck!
Pros: Got to London on-time (early, actually) and safely. The in flight meal was okay. The leg room in comfort plus was great, the mobile app was awesome, and the staff (check-in, gate, cabin and flight deck) were professional and friendly all around.
Cons: The leg room was great, but as a broad-shouldered guy, the width of the seat was miserable. Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight.
Pros: Excellent crew, snacks and coffee, comfortable economy seats. Plane landed 15 min early. Bags beat me to the carousel.
Cons: Tray table was broken, I was downgraded from Comfort plus to main cabin after a plane swap with no mention by anyone and no compensation. Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US
Pros: Leg room and seats are very tight and I'm a small person.
Cons: Coach class is very crowded.
Pros: Direct flight, on time, friendly crew, smooth flight
Pros: Cabin crew and captain were great.
Cons: Don't like how you don't get your seat assignment until you get to the gate. I was given the window seat in the very last row for a 6 hour flight, quite uncomfortable. I could've booked another airline for a similar price and picked the seat i wanted at booking. They ran out of food choices by the time they got to the last row, so we were given whatever was left. Delayed because one of the bathroom doors wasn't working, 30 min later still wasn't fixed and ultimately they decided to go without it.
Pros: Staff smooth flight great landing and free movies
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Your entertainment system is fabulous!
Cons: We purchased a direct flight from Boston to Tampa. We paid extra for the convenience of a direct flight Our flight was changed without notification to a connecting flight that was leaving 10 minutes earlier and arriving 2 hours later. Due to malfunction with the kiosk and not a sufficient amount of agents at check in, we missed our flight by 4 minutes. The gate agent seemed to enjoy telling us, with our 10 month old baby, that we were too late. Our baggage, including car seat, had been loaded on the plane. We were reassigned to a flight the following morning. We missed a full day with family, had to travel back home without a car seat and return to the airport the following day. I was shocked and disappointed that not single Delta agent was accommodating or remotely helpful while we were at the airport. I've never had a problem with Delta before. We travel on regularly and would like to continue using Delta. I would like a voucher for my next Delta trip.
Pros: Boarding, checking in etc. The usual stuff, nothign spectacular.
Cons: Seats are getting too crowded!
Cons: Delayed for 4 hours due to mechanical difficulties
Cons: My wife was told she could not board our flight from Boston to Paris because her passport was expired, even though it was not expired. We were told that in Europe passports cannot expire within 3 months of your departure. However, Delta never let us know about this rule until we literally were boarding the plane. How they could not make us aware of this until we were boarding the airplane is unbelievable and unacceptable. This has ruined our vacation which has been in planning for the last six months.
Pros: Complimentary snack mini-meal. Early departure and arrival. Availability of extra seat and elbow room. Free movies.
Cons: Entertainment screen would not tilt to comfortable angle when passenger in front of me reclined his seat, and the screen/system stopped functioning properly near end of flight.
Pros: Everything was just right
Pros: Delta service and conford are great.
Cons: Pay for wifi
Pros: you must be kidding me!!! nothing to say good about this fly !!The sad part I'm American Express Delta SkyMiles credit card holder and they couldn't do anything for meThe only good thing we arrive in Mexico
Cons: flying to Mexico with. my two boys !!to begin I have to call Delta to put us seat together because the time of the fight had changed!! before we are siting by de middle of the plain when a booked r three seat together !! but than i got a imail confimatin with separete seattle for the kids!!we end up sitting all the way back on the plan!! we end up sitting all the way back on the plane l!! no TVs no windows in the last sits by the only two bathrooms on the plane with two boys that was not fun at all !!The sad part I'm American Express Delta SkyMiles credit card holder and they couldn't do anything for me when I called them
Pros: The crew was friendly and accommodating, and service was good
Cons: I purchased a basic economy ticket and upon checking in, my Delta app said my seat was unassigned and I had to get my boarding pass at the airport. I checked back later and the app had me as number 7 on the standby list. I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option.
Pros: Direct flight
Cons: Online check in, we’re charged for everything, EVERYTHING. For that I’ll take a connection next time
Pros: Nothing. Worst flight I’ve ever taken.
Cons: We were on the tarmac for 3.5 hours with little communication or apology. The seats were very uncomfortable. Terrible turbulence. Not even a complimentary soda for all of this. I will never fly Allegiant ever again.
Pros: Crew was very nice and very competent.
Cons: I'm trying to wrap my head around the # of flights that are delayed or cancelled, when I fly on Allegiant. Perhaps, I have just had bad luck. The flight was delayed a total of 5 times for a total delay of about 4 hours. The original scheduled flight was for 6:35 pm and we didn't actually leave the ground until almost 10:30. We kept getting pushed back. I am not certain if it was due to weather (in another area) or required flight crew rest, both of which I would understand. There was no reason posted that I saw. I have a 10 yo son who has Autism and should be in bed no later than 10 pm, preferably 9 pm. I appreciate all that Allegiant does for the military, and therefore, will continue to fly on your airline. I will NOT, however, take any more evening flights as most of the ones I've flown on have either been delayed or altogether cancelled. Again, I truly appreciate your recognition of retired and active duty military. 8/10 is a B and can be improved upon with more clarevoyance and keeping on-time flights.
Cons: The seats were the most uncomfortable seats I've ever dealt with on a flight.
Pros: Good crew
Cons: Late to load and then put us all on the plane and made us sit on tarmac for over 1 1/2 hours
Pros: Flight speed
Cons: The crew needs to remember that we are all watching and listening to them hoot and holler with themselves. During the flight the head attendant was watching a movie on her personal device. At this point anybody could do her job
Pros: The crew
Cons: Very bumpy from take off thru first half of flight, though this wasn’t anyone from allegiant’s fault, just scary!
Pros: The crew was fantastic!
Cons: I wish there was at least a free beverage.
Cons: Be on time
Pros: The price was excellent.
Cons: The flight was delayed for two hours.
Pros: Cost of reservation
Cons: Expensive extras (added up to more than a flight on another airline would have been)- carry-ons, in-flight snacks and drinks, etc.
Pros: Crew was friendly and helpful
Cons: Offer at least water at no charge.
Pros: Great fares even for last minute booking.
Cons: Services and comfort as expected for the price.
Cons: Delayed due to weather
Cons: Still in Reno. Aircraft broke down
Cons: Signs at the airport and terminal info
Pros: LEFT EARLY ARRIVED EARLY PERFECT
Pros: timeliness of the flight professionalism of the crew immediate attention to a passenger who fainted
Cons: passengers were cold and there were no blankets to be offered there were no hot beverages and it was very cold. all beverages were for purchase and yet no complimentary hot coffee nor tea, even if you wanted to pay
Cons: my Luggage did not make it to Reno.
Cons: Late departure without any explanation. TSA really under staffed.
Pros: Quick and very smooth flight, amazing flight attendants.
Cons: Wish at least one drink/soda was free. Boarding line was so slow.
Pros: Even though the flight was delayed by more than 2 hours, we were able to make it home.
Cons: Started with constant delays. Flight ended up leaving around 8:30 when the flight was supposed to leave at 5:59. Once boarded there were no snacks, no liquor and only a few options to drink. The flight attendant was mumbling and kept on messing up what he was supposed to say the entire flight.
Pros: People in my row.
Pros: It was exceervice
Pros: It is hard to beat the price of tickets for this airline. I love the price; that the flights are direct & almost always on time; that the staff, from the flight attendants to ticket agents, all seem professional, helpful & friendly; and that the planes are clean and seats well cushioned & comfortable.
Cons: I don't like that the seats don't lean back & that they are very close together with little leg/knee room. Altho the base price for the flights is cheap, they charge for "extras", including making your reservation by phone instead of online, printing out your boarding pass &choosing your seat. There's a fee for carry on's as well as regular size luggage. If you don't prepay for your luggage or if your luggage weighs more than 40 lbs, they charge $50, instead of $25. They not only charge for food, but also for water or any beverage. If you are prepared for a no frills flight & are willing to sit separately from your travel companions, etc. then this is a great way to save time (direct flights) and money. I will choose to fly with them again, even tho My husband & I prob. won't get to sit together. If you know what to expect & plan for it, it is a great way to save.
Cons: they charged me more money because i need alleges air . ap
Cons: Lost my bag
Pros: Boarding at the new Austin South terminal was a breeze!
Cons: It's ridiculous to make passengers keep their personal items on the floor when most of the overhead lockers are empty. Ridiculous and dangerous.
Pros: Although we were late to our gate, the Allegiant staff made sure that we were able to board our plane on time.
Pros: Very efficient service... for a first experience we were pretty impressed because your review overall were not that great. Good job.
Cons: The airline nickel and dimes for everything.
Pros: Nice smooth ride
Cons: Could offer more options on snacks
Pros: The price for the flight and the direct flight make it worthwhile.
Cons: Boarding process was completely chaotic; they had two lines, one for people with paper boarding passes and one for those with electronic passes, but they just let everyone line up all at once which was way too crazy. It needs to be better organized.
Cons: I flew to my "surprised" 50th bday party with family and to meet more family. The aircraft problems overheated engine, caused us to get out of the plane, move all luggages and wait foe a new plane that also had to be cooled off before reboarding. We were tired and hungry. Missed my bday with family. Very very disappointed.
Pros: Allegiant is a great flying experience! A little bit of a wait at BLV,but that will be fixed once they get the other TSA checking completed. VLP was a smooth and easy experience!
Cons: We weren't given a menu in the Kayak App to choose seats or bags at purchase. Kayak needs to rectify this. It caused us to spend more money on our bags especially...
Pros: I like the flight. It was on time
Pros: No complaints about the trip to Newqrk. Everyone was very helpful and patient since I am an unexperienced flyer.
Cons: I didn't like thinking I was paying one price then paying another or buying insurance that would have been useless since it doesn't cover anythIntg.
Pros: No Frills Business Travel Good price No hassle Everything on-time and efficient. A choice if I want extras including baggage, seat assignments, etc. Airport convenience
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: The crew was very friendly
Cons: The flight was delayed 2 hours. The plane was freezing the entire flight. Apparently, the crew tried to get the pilot to turn down the air, but it never happened. I hate how Allegiant nickel and dimes you. Not even a cup of water is free.
Pros: The crew was awesome! They were friendly and very focused on their passengers. The plane was clean and the flight, itself was great. Worth flying from Oregon to So. Cal., will do again. Loved the flight times, and because of them, we were able to have half a day on departure day (Thursday 3:30 pm) to drop off dogs, pack and run errands and some work and arriving back home (Tuesday 9:46 am) gave us all day to work and get ready for the week.
Cons: Plane did not board or leave on time, spent a lot of time waiting both on and off plane. I also did not like being hit with the taxes and fees at Alamo, after booking through Allegiant. Those should have been included in the initial payment, because I could have rented same vehicle for $40 less through Alamo website,(final payment w/ T&F's) That was a waste of your customer's money.
Pros: The price
Pros: The flight crew was nice.
Cons: The staff at Ft Lauderdale airport was not customer focused. They were disorganized and rude. My friend paid $5 for his ticket to be printed and, at the very least, they should refund that. I'll never fly Allegiant again.
Pros: landed safe .
Cons: long delay . actual usual delays with airline . with out exception get very sick every time i fly with allegiant . makes me question proper hygentic maintaince / ventallation system vac and clean. i fly jet blue, southwest and virgin, usually with out illness. if there are health checks by the airline , post them !
Cons: That you charge for every little thing...surprised you don't charge to use the bathrooms. Don't appreciate having to be your clean up crew either.
Pros: Excellent direct flight at good price
Cons: Flight 339 not listed on TV monitors at Boise airport
Pros: Having to bug hotel staff to make sure to print boarding passes to avoid a $5 charge for each...having to pay for carry-on bags in advance and then unstuff them in the cramped aisles while boarding because the overhead compartments were too small...flight delays on each leg of the trip...staff that seemed lobotomized...seats that have a bar jamming into your lower back and don't recline.... etc., etc, etc, etc, Plus stupid coporate name and a logo that's hard on the eyes! ALLEGIANT SUCKS from its nose to its tail fin.
Pros: Time of travel
Cons: No leg room
Pros: It is a low cost carrier. You get what you pay for
Pros: We didn’t crash.
Cons: First class seat was uncomfortable and had very little padding. Meal service was not good. No drinks offered.
Pros: The crew was great as was the check in crew.
Cons: The comfort of the seat and leg space.
Cons: Less people because of COVID
Cons: I paid $100 for an upgrade on a United which turned out to be the first row, and right beside the rest room (which was erroneously showing as occupied for the first 20 minutes). The traffic made it feel like I was sitting on a bench in Grand Central Station. I chose an aisle seat but ended up mysteriously in the middle seat. I had extra leg room but if I’d eaten the free 5 pretzels I wouldn’t have been able to fit it my seat any longer. The WiFi wasn’t working for the first hour of the flight. The flight attendant got really annoyed when we didn’t look up when he came by with beverages the first time. We all had headphones on and were looking at our personal screens. The activity by the rest room was constant so we didn’t notice it wasn’t just someone waiting for the loo. The luggage took so long to come out I thought my conference would be over before I got it. Overall, I thought it was bad and confirmed why I don’t fly United. Old, dingy planes, poor service. The pilot was pleasant and communicative so there was at least that...
Cons: Serving something substantial to eat would be nice.
Pros: Great take off and landing. My ears were not even plugged up after landing. Great piloting skills by the crew.
Cons: Still in Houston after spending the night. Flight from Boston to SFO WAS DELAYED SEVERAL TIMES and we would have missed our connection to HNL. So we were diverted to IAH, where we spent the night and will leave for HNL soon.
Pros: Non stop . Wife and I were given side by side seats
Cons: Last row
Pros: Professional staff and clean seat with smooth pilot who was not constantly announcing things
Cons: Small seats
Pros: Good. Seating. Not too crowded
Pros: The flight attendants were so nice, and although our flight was delayed and hour and fifteen minutes and our layover was an hour and fifteen minutes, we were able to make our connection! Since our connection to Portland in Denver was the last flight of the night, they were able to hold it for us. This was wonderful because there weren’t many flights out that weren’t booked solid for the next day. The attendants on this flight were great about updating us with information for the connections and telling us when we would land in Denver.
Cons: The plane was delayed over an hour for cleaning. It was frustrating to say the least.
Pros: The flight was short and sweet. However, the customer service rep checking me in at Logan could have been much more friendly. I was bringing my parents lobster from Maine, and I ended up having to check my box of lobster. I have a United Explorer card and a Chase Sapphire Preferred card and I was juggling my luggage and had to sit my money clip wallet on the counter. Since I had cash in my wallet, the customer service rep abruptly told me, “we don’t accept cash.” I have been flying for most of my life and I know that you have to pay for baggage fees with a credit card. This interaction was disappointing to say the least.
Cons: No beverage service.
Cons: flight was delayed
Pros: A very tall, male, flight attendant very wonderfully took me almost all the way from one end of the horseshoe to the other. I didn't catch his name but he was SO helpful.
Cons: My flight was delayed by a few minutes and by the time we got to San Francisco, boarding was almost done for my connecting flight. I had to literally run from one end of the United terminals to the other... the entire horse shoe.
Pros: Entertainment free and plenty of choices
Cons: Not even any free snacks, seats do not recline much at all
Pros: I loved being in economy plus! The meal was a wonderful surprise and after my tv screen was reset, I enjoyed 2 movies. Nice staff and service.
Cons: Having to go to the back of the plane for the bathroom.
Pros: New plane, great service.
Cons: The hot meal was gross, but that's too be expected these days. It was nice to even get one, honestly. In flight wifi didn't work but the crew was great about helping us get in touch with customer service about it.
Cons: Got re-seated into a non-recline, bulkhead exit row. For a tall guy like me that's a death sentence on a 6h flight that's delayed extra at the end of a day
Cons: Inspire of making it clear all through booking, check-in and seat assignment, I was assigned a seat in an emergency exit. I told crew before I boarded that I could not open the emergency exit at assigned seat, due to an injury. I had to board almost last waiting for them to find someone who would take that seat. Then they put me in a non-reclining seat. I was given the wrong free beverage and the crew never came back. So I had nothing to drink on a 4+ hour long flight.
Pros: Free movies on the plane, because of errors.
Cons: 4 hour delays both ways. We missed our connection flight due to delays on the way home. That connection was the last flight out of that airport home. We ended up having to sleep in the airport overnight, because United wouldn't pay to put us in a hotel even though the delay was because of a mechanical error on the plane. Our 5 hour flight turned into a big ordeal.
Cons: Took 3 days to deliver my case. They have daily flights. Very poor.
Pros: We boarded very quickly. Take off and landing were immediate. I wasn't interrupted as I slept.
Cons: The flight was delayed. Ordinarily, a little over an hour isn't bad, but we ended up landing at 1:30 in the morning, local time. I called United expressing concern about the arrival time when I was first notified of the delay and all I was told was "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." I learned later that there was an earlier flight I could have tried to get on.
Pros: The flight was fine once we were airborne.
Cons: The flight was delayed SEVEN times. After boarding, we sat on the ground another hour. We didn't take off until almost 5 hours after the expected departure. Baggage claim took over 30 minutes, as well, which was exhausting after midnight when we were supposed to get in at 8.
Cons: Sat in the middle of two people who took up part of my seat too.
Pros: I liked the comfort that the plane gave. I also enjoyed the fact that the crew was all very friendly and kind.
Cons: There was no music or free tv to watch on flight. There were delays due to high traffic.
Cons: They had flight delay issues and WE got pushed onto a next day flight but WE had to pay for our hotel when it was their planes delayed!
Pros: Took off late but landed on time
Cons: Packed in like sardines. Hot on board.
Cons: Our plane was constantly moved around prior to boarding and it was 2 hours late.
Cons: 1. Comfort: the headrest on these seats is so uncomfortable! It just props your head forward and causes a lot of neck strain. For most short haul flights, this is not a big deal, but it really makes for an unpleasant journey on the cross-country flights. Also, the four-seat middle section is so poorly designed. There is no way to store personal items under seats without invading the space of your neighbor because the metal frame supporting the row of seats doesn't match with the seats themselves. 2. Entertainment: United could not support continuous streaming of movies/TV shows for every passenger. My movie paused and froze so frequently that I gave up on finishing it and then felt like I had wasted my time. The speed and reliability reminded me of trying to watch movies on a dialup connection. It would be so much better to just have the TV screens built into the seats. All in all, United got a bad batch of planes and should try to take this into consideration when working with Boeing/Airbus on the next order.
Pros: Flash for mac did not install
Cons: I felt like I was on my way to my death
Pros: Ease of boarding and security checking bag at gate
Cons: Check in kiosk couldn't scan phone was glad to unload my carry-on and check it for free. Should be encouraged to check 1 bag for free from start for smaller bags. Flight attendant was crabby when I tried to squeeze past into my seat. She kind of apologized by being nicer to me after that. They kind of yelled at passengers to take their seats to take off. I liked United. Too bad about the incident I read about. I was on a flight with no available seats to LA and thought someone had taken my seat. Turns out I was reading it wirong on my phone abd the last seat available was actually mine.
Cons: Crabby flight attendants
Cons: Still at airport. 40 minute flight delayed 3.5 hours. Now I get home at 2 am.
Pros: The flight was bumpy but otherwise pleasant
Cons: There was a rude passenger that yelled at me as I was exciting the flight suggesting that I cut her off as we were getting off the plane thinking that I took her bag. It was outrageous and completely ruined the flight for me. I realize this has nothing to do with the flight but it just made me feel so crumby and attached that I felt the need to share it. Also the leg room was a joke. We barely had any room to move. I probably won't fly coach on united again due to the bad taste it left in my mouth. Unfortunate because it's hub is in chicago.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating
Cons: There was some sort of mix up with seat assignments two guys had the same seat assignment. The very nice gentleman who was sitting in my seat due this stood and allowed me to have my seat as it was on the isle and I was in boarding group 5 and my seat was all the way at the end by the bathrooms and needed to be able to stretch my legs into the isle. There was absolutely no leg room what so ever. The dude next to me spent the entire trip jabbing me in the side with his elbow so that he could access what little space I did have. I was unable to move my legs because every two seconds the entire plane was trekking to the back to use the bathroom, because while there was a third bathroom on the plane towards the front, for whatever reason nobody seemed to be using it.
Cons: Because United scheduled flights without regard to airport Construction in Boston my flight was changed 3 times and I still missed my connecting flight. After I missed my flight, they refused to schedule me on the next available flight even though people behind me were scheduled because they were preferred customers. They refused to pay for my hotel and the customer service was rude arrogant and dismissive. I will absolutely never fly United again. The crew on the Boston flight to Newark was lovely everything beyond that was absolutely abhorrent. We got to our connecting flight exactly as boarding closed and they refused to let 11 people board. And subsequently, United staff was rude to us saying it wasn't their fault.
Pros: Once flight began it ran quite smooth
Cons: I chose seats when I booked the tickets. So... Not quite sure how both myself and my partner didn't end up seated together, and both ended up in a middle seat sandwiched between 2 overweight people... Are you little people profiling to break up the overwhelming number of big people? another couple with 2 kids were also broken up into distant areas on the plane. I know everyone complains about so many things, and this wasn't the end of the world, but still, it's not ideal. The seating/etc seemed more disorganized than usual for this flight.
Pros: I was so impressed with the captain and flight attendants handling the engine problems we had that sent us back to the gate for maintenance at Boston. They were calm and professional and (as a fearful flyer) I felt confident the captain was absolutely making sure we were safe to progress.
Cons: It was so hot on the plane!!! It would have been awesome if they would have passed out water.
Pros: The crew was fantastic
Cons: I really didn't like how the TVs were running to make you think you could watch whatever you want but then you had to pay. No one is going to pay for such a short flight, it would be really nice to offer it for free.
Pros: The flight attendants were kind and attentative
Cons: Nothing stood out, no one went above and beyond. When boarding, a flight attendant said there was no room in the overhead for my carry on and told me I had to check in my bag. When I finally boarded the flight, there were many empty spaces that could have fit my carry on
Pros: Except for the boarding process, the flight went smoothly, the crew was friendly and I had no problems.
Cons: The boarding process was confusing. I was issued a boarding pass with "see agent" instead of a seat assignment listed. When I saw the United agent at the gate I was told "don't worry we'll find you a seat." I was confused because I felt that I was treated as if I was flying stand by when in reality I booked my ticket in advance. Everything worked out in the end--I was one of the last on the plane but I got a seat and had no issues with finding a place for my carry-on--however, I prefer having an assigned seat to avoid the anxiety of not knowing what is going on during the boarding process.
Cons: Hour delay that made me miss my connecting flight. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines.
Pros: Crew friendliness
Cons: Boarding was a mess with an adjacent gate exiting at the time of boarding creating a melee of people crossing queues. You have a carry-on baggage policy - stick to it. I wasn't carrying any roll-ons or large items but many of my fellow passengers were carrying multiple items in the hope of either getting them on or having them checked for free. Complete shambles with later boarders running up and down the aisle trying to fit their carry-ons into overhead lockers. Solution: Enforce one item only; Apply free checked items at the gate early. Apply a fee for items that don't fit and were not offered up for checking.
Pros: The flight attendents were attentive and did a great job.
Cons: Customer service was rude to us about our carry on. It was fine on the way to Boston, but made to pay and check it on the way back. other customers had bags our size but we we're rudely told "you need to go pay for your bag that's it". The bag fit effortlessly in the top on the way there.
Pros: On time boarding, nice crew.
Cons: No free food, not a lot of options of free drinks
Pros: The flight was fast and the crew was nice.
Cons: The boarding took forever
Cons: Had to gate check bag both ways. Flight extremely delayed on way home causing me to miss connection; minimal communication from gate crew. A complimentary drink included a Dixie cup full of soda.
Pros: The crew was courteous and nice. Due to a 2+ hour delay we had free movies on the flight.
Cons: The fact that our incoming flight was delayed more than 2 hours.
Cons: Recently United decided to cancel all of their flights to Denver due to an April snow storm. United was the only company that chose to cancel rather than delay flights. Our flight was cancelled 24 hrs before any snow fell. Their solution was to offer us another flight over 72 hrs out. After spending 6 hrs on the phone with this company (not exaggerating) I feel entitled to say that this company holds zero accountability or concern for their customers. We had to spend an additional $500 to get to our destination last minute through JetBlue.
Pros: Very efficient.
Cons: When diverting around storms, let us know more flight time is involved. Not a peep from the crew.
Pros: Crew was wonderful.
Cons: Seat was not comfortable for me but I have a bad back so not that it would affect others the same.
Pros: The crew was excellent
Pros: Boarding back to front makes so much sense! Thanks!
Pros: All of the flight attendant’s jokes! ♥️
Pros: It was good
Cons: Flight was cancelled to Orlando 4 hours before takeoff. Next flight offered wasn't until 2 days later. Had to cancel entire trip and had to pay Universal Studios $300 in fees to cancel on such short notice. Will NOT be booking with Frontier anymore.
Pros: The flight itself was a nice flight. The captain and first officer were communicative and the few times we experienced turbulence I felt like they immediately tried to minimize it. I had a good amount of room in my seat (I was not in an emergency exit row) and I had no problems with my luggage.
Cons: There was a 2 hour delay to take off. When your flight is at 7am and you've woken up at 3:30 or 4 to get to the airport on time, it's a bit frustrating to wait an extra 2 hours to leave. The gate agents were woefully uninformed and when they did communicate with passengers it was vague and unhelpful. The gate agents kept referring to the need for "maintenance" on the aircraft. It doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence in the soundness of the plane to hear that the maintenance crew is trying to "fix something in the cockpit." The Departures monitors and my Kayak app were giving me delay updates before the gate agents were. At one point we switched gates (it was the gate directly across from the original gate) and I watched as passengers at one gate literally traded places with passengers at another gate because the flights had swapped gates. It was comical. Overall, just a disorganized, uninformative, frustrating mess.
Pros: Good price.
Cons: Very uncomfortable. I'm not sure I would buy this ticket for a flight more than two hours.
Pros: Crew was good. They were late boarding the plane, but the captain made up the time in the air.
Cons: There's extra charges for carry ons and beverages Majority of the seats have no leg room No in-flight entertainment or wifi
Pros: Easy departure from Tampa. Captain kept us well informed.
Cons: The fact i got stranded.
Cons: I booked a flight with them for the Thanksgiving holiday.... I was supposed to travel Wednesday 22 - Saturday to STLand back... I was IMMEDIATELY shocked by only being able to carry 1 personal item... When I found out exactly how small 45 centimeters was...I tried to cancel the trip & be refunded within 5-6 hours.... They told me to fill out a form & return it to them... THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO GET BACK TO ME WITHIN HOURS TO NOTIFY OF THE REFUND AMOUNT & NOT...I REPEAT NOT ACTUALLY CANCEL THE TRIP UNLESS I AGREED TO THE REFUND AMOUNT... I never heard anything from them! I just assumed it was just taking forever for them to approve my refund... Therefore...assuming that the flight was still booked...SINCE I never APPROVED ANY REFUND... I visited kiwi.com several times before the the trip & there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING informing me of any trip cancellation... I went to the airport... Wasn’t able to board... Talked to kiwi.on the phone... Didn’t find out the trip was canceled until after the boarding was closed for that flight. Ceddrick Jonae email@example.com 415-322-9515 kiwi.com booking number: 4709776 Reservation number (PNR): MEUOOZ E-ticket: 984-7069682518
Cons: Flight was abnormally bumpy to the point even the crew mentioned it. I could hear the crew the whole flight chatting and bitching about Work etc
Cons: The tickets look like a deal until they charge for every other thing. The information regarding what bag can be carried on without a fee is very confusing. We paid and then saw people rolling cases and putting them in the overhead bin. The seat prices are ridiculous so you don't want to pay for a seat they will assign you for free, I was then told I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment even though I had already purchased a ticket. I waited for almost an hour before someone showed up. I was told the only seats left were the exit rows. Luckily I am healthy. If I have paid for a ticket Frontier should guarantee me a seat. We had to wait in line even though we had already paid for our bags and some of us went on line and checked in and had boarding passes. Where is the short cut then?? It was so convoluted we will never fly Frontier again. Too much work, let me pay for the ticket and let me have a bag and give me a seat for crying out loud. The flight crew was great. Very nice.
Cons: seats are worn out, you have to pay to place a bag in overhead compartments
Cons: They gave our captain to an Atlanta flight. We had to wait for another captain to get to DIA. Then we got loaded up and had to wait for the east gate to open, then they had to map out another plan I.e., the northeast gate (and that didn't materialize) soooo we sat on the plane until we receive the okay to depart on "the east gate". Which was approximately 21:30. We finally arrived at approximately 01:00 a little more than hour late. It took better than 30 minutes for us to get our luggage. Stupid crazy that a person is paying ridiculous prices for pitiful customer service.
Pros: Kindness and consideration and the understanding of their staff.
Cons: Have to pay so much for luggage thought I was really getting a great deal but really was the same as the other airlines give or take.
Pros: The landing was good.
Cons: $40 for a carry on? Come on now. $5 seat upcharge because "window seat"? Chairs that don't recline? You interrupt my already terrible nap so you can try to sell the entire plane your "no-black-outs" Mastercard. The cabin was much too hot, people complained and nothing was done -- adding insult to injury, water costs money. Every aspect of buying a ticket is littered with popups to upsell you to something "better" or more "exclusive". The entire experience from buying a ticket to touch-down was dehumanizing and an insult my intelligence.
Pros: I really did not feel any more crowded or uncomfortable than any other airplane Ive been on. I sort of like that the tray tables are the size of a large cell phone- less bulky than regular tray tables.
Cons: The crew wasn't bad, just seemed unhappy to be there. There was some confusion with which gate we should be at, changed us three times before settling on the original gate. Boarding was no problem but then we waited without taking off for over 45 minutes. The pilot came over the intercom and informed us that he had no idea why we were delayed to take off, but that he would "find shortcuts" to get us there on time. The biggest gripe that we have is once we landed and went to baggage, several of us waited for golf clubs for close to an hour before a worker realized "they forgot" to turn on the button to allow oversized items to come out. Then she said "sorry I was busy with ticketing and Frontier doesn't have a baggage attendant". I just dont think the extra savings was quite worth the frustration.
Pros: The flight was on time.
Cons: The crew people at the Frontier check-in desk were very unhelpful and rude. We missed our flight because we arrived at the counter to check our bags past the cutoff time to be checked in by 1 minute (due to long lines). That was partially our fault but the representative who was helping us did absolutely nothing to help us problem solve and seemed almost pleased to tell us that she couldn't take our bags. I rarely see such bad customer service. I have heard that Frontier pays their staff very poorly compared to other airlines and I assume this is why the customer service reps are so jaded.
Pros: I was very surprised at all of the small things and extra charges that you had for the flight. For example, even just paying for a soda on board I thought was a little overboard. And then once my flight was canceled they were of no help on rescheduling my flight and were not able to find another frontier flight for four more days. Myself and others were left to reschedule our own flights without any repayment of the difference in ticket price. I will not fly this airline again I caution everyone else at the lack of customer support and professionalism .
Cons: Frontier cancelled the flight. Their alerts to my email came well after I arrived at the airport. The single check in attendant didn't offer an explanation and curtly told me next flight wasn't until 3 days later. Plus, you can never reach a person at customer service they won't guarantee a refund since I bought a discounted flight.
Cons: Frontier needs a different business model and better customer service instead of all the nickel and diming people. Right now i will never book Frontier again.
Pros: Will never fly frontiers again.
Cons: Waited all night without getting information whether the flight is gonna take off or no. The weather was good. The captain was there also and ready to fly. No one could explain what was happening
Pros: Frontier has constant hidden charges. I flew to my destination using my Frontier phone app and when I went to fly back I was not able to submit on Frontier's boarding pass on my phone Frontier phone app. I had to use a computer which caused me to delay my boarding pass and the reason Frontier did not let me get my boarding pass on the phone app as Frontier wanted me to choose a seat and charge additional charges. I did not accept this choice and let Frontier choose my seat for no cost. Frontier needs to change to access your boarding pass on their phone app. I could see the boarding pass on the app after I went into a regular computer and kept saying "NO" to additional cost of baggage and seating cost. The Frontier airlines seats do not recline and are hard plastic seats and not comfortable. (I only weight 125 lbs) Also, during the flight I had to hear the commercial of Frontier credit card commercials over the loud speaker. I wanted to sleep not listen to commercials of their credit card. They charge for all food and drinks except water which is fine since it was only a 2 hour flight.
Cons: My partner had a change of plans and cancelled her flight so Frontier could resell her seat. In the process the agent also erroneously cancelled my flight. I did not discover this until I arrived at the airport two hours from home. After an extremely frustrating 2+ hours on the phone with customer service I finally got to Edwin Watkins in the corporate office who made it right by paying for a flight on an alternate carrier. So a big shout-out to Mr. Watkins, but very poor grades for customer service prior to that who offered my non-solutions such as flying out the next day, or a full refund which would have then required me to pay astronomical last-minute airfares on a different carrier. Also frustrating was being told repeatedly that the agent would be back on the line in five minutes and then hearing nothing for 20 minutes or more. Like some other reviewers, I also was not aware of the fee for carry on baggage. I don't object to this approach to pricing, but I think it needs to be very explicit up front. Spirit Airlines uses a similar pricing model but they do a much better job making it all clear to the customer up front. Finally, I gather there are some seats that recline while most do not. I was right behind one of the reclining seats and felt pretty crowed. Presumably this would be less of an issue in rows with non-reclining seats in front.
Cons: I understand that a lot of flights are charging for snacks and drinks these days and calling it a la carte (to make it sound fancy enough to justify the expense), but it is ridiculous to be expected to pay $3 for a bag of pretzels or a soda on a flight. Hiding that cost in the price of the ticket gives a MUCH better impression than being on the flight and waiting for the long-standing cherished ritual of accepting your meager snack, only to find that you have to pay $6 for it. Between this and the overall discomfort of the seats (they didn't recline, so I couldn't nap), the lack of in-flight magazine (if I can't nap, can't I at least pass the time with a crossword?), the carry-on fee, and the fact that the flight crew reminded us four or five times that they were also the clean-up crew so we should help them out by not littering, it was the most uncomfortable of any flight I have ever taken.
Pros: Flight was still comfortable, considering we had to fly over a lighting storm.
Cons: the price for the trip does not include that you have to pay for Carry-on, and seat assignment, which is an odd expense to passengers. Especially for shorter trips with the round trip the carry on charge would equal up to at least $60. Which would equal to another airline who is comparatively better especially because those airlines aren't worrying about charging the customers for every single thing. So even though I comparison shop for my ticket, by the time I paid for these additional fees, I could have purchased a ticket from another airline for less money.
Pros: Smooth flight and excellent recovery from a strong gust of wind seconds before touchdown.
Cons: Had to pay for snacks. No entertainment that I was aware of.
Pros: Just not a good airline anymore. The seats are so uncomfortable. Would never take Frontier on anything longer than a two hour flight. They were delayed 45 minutes. Wasn't given the option to pick my seat so ended up in the 41st row "window" although there is no window in that row. No more directv, so entertainment is no longer. No leg room. Just a bit disappointed and not crazy about their makeover. I guess they had to do something drastic to stay in business but I will only fly them as a last resort.
Cons: The seats, the pilots they land to rough and at a high rate of speed!!
Pros: It was a direct flight
Cons: That they charge for luggage and while boarding it looked to me as if anyone could have brought a carry on and they wouldn't even noticed or checked to see if it was paid for... so why bother charging!!
Pros: The price was excellent and staff very friendly. Landing in STL was very smooth...pilot did a super job.
Cons: There was a mix-up in the baggage loading, thus we were delayed about 40 minutes or so...it seemed longer since it was a late flight. The attendants were very nice, air-conditioning made it all comfortable during the long wait. I totally understand how accidents can happen and I think the crew handled the delay very well. The attendant was very nice and during refreshment service, my daughter asked for 2 glasses of water and she gave them to us. We had not planned to be on the plane so long so I had not brought along anything to drink. All in all, it was a good flight. Thank you.
Pros: great flights with Frontier from Orlando to St Louis and back! Staff was very friendly, plane was clean, flights were on time, checked bags ready quickly and I was also happy to select the seat I wanted with many options available. Will definitely fly again with Frontier, hopefully from Orlando to Denver with my family in the near future! :)
Pros: Nice clean plane, friendly staff
Cons: Having to pay for checked bags or carry-on on my return flight from St louis
Cons: Late departure , 1.5 hr wait just to check in your carry on bags and had to pay 40 dollars for each bag. Kayak should also give us heads up that this flight charges money for all the bags including cabin bags. This looks cheap on kayak lust but is more expensive than otherw due to baggage charge. I am never ever going to fly this airline again.
Cons: We had a problem with the air on the plane and they had the plane half loaded before they made the decision the debate. Told us that it would be about An half an hour, then we had to go to a different gate. It was a big mess.
Cons: Food cost extra. seats cost extra. a cane fell on my head after a crew member opened an overhead. the seats don't recline. the seats are hard and crowded. This has got to be the worst airlines to fly.....I would not and will not fly it again. On the flight back, it was midnight and crew member stood by our seat and chatted. Plane looks good, the rest sucks.
Cons: Can't believe drinks and snacks cost. At least that is the way it appeared. Usually a soda is free, but the flight attendant asked if I wanted a drink or snack for a fee. Charge for a seat? Really? Overkill on all the extra fees.
Pros: I loved the price of the tickets. My children spend the summer between Iowa and Alabama. So we travel a lot. I normally drive to Kentucky to meet up with Grandma to let them go north for part of the summer. However, this year I have planned a honeymoon, and even planned going to Virginia two weekends back to back. I thought I would fly to St. Louis from Atlanta to cut down on the driving. (I tend to get sick on road trips anyway, a flight would be nice). I found these tickets for around $50 each. I needed 3. Got them. The flight to St Louis was quick. We landed 20 mins ahead of schedule. (Made my return trip great as I was back on the same plane and was sorta freaking out about making it back to the gate in time) Landed in St Louis walked to baggage claim met up with Grandma returned with time to spare. The return flight was the same. I did not like the seats. I ended up with a massive migraine no fault of the airline but I would have loved to have been a little more comfortable. It has been a long time from my last flight and this one. The price of baggage went up. (As well as tickets which is one reason its been a while) I did notice that the airline is wanting you to prepay for baggage when you purchase the tickets. In the long run makes in SO MUCH EASIER! And with the most recent issues with TSA and getting through security that speeds things up. I paid for one checked bag. And using the frontier site was cheaper than I would have been charged at the airport. Overall I can't complain. I did make it to and from my destination on time and safely. My bag was in one piece. The seats not being the best is a minor detail. Oh. And unlike some of the other flights this one did not offer free drinks and snacks. I've flown Southwest, and Delta I was offered a soft drink and a small bag of something. I was offered to purchase these from this line. Found it odd.
Pros: The cabin was clean, and the staff was friendly.
Cons: I was disappointed in the surprise costs of luggage. I packed everything in a carryon so that I wouldn't have to pay for a check bag, but turns out a carry on costs $40 at check in. I understand it was a cheap flight, but I may have made a different decision if I knew there was an extra hidden cost of $80 round trip. On other notes, on the first flight of my two, the plane was swerving back and forth on takeoff and landing. The weather was fine, and I've flown plenty enough to know this wasn't normal. My second flight was fine. It was on the same plane, but the crew changed, so I guess it was pilot causing it to be this way? The seats were uncomfortable in coach for long periods of time compared to other airlines, and did not recline.
Pros: Crew was friendly. Plane was clean.
Cons: When booking and checking in, no opportunity to enter Known Traveler ID number, so did not get TSA precheck. No information when booking about additional charges - $30 for a carry-on bag?? additional fees almost doubled the price of the ticket. On the flight, the volume of pilot announcements were very loud, crew said it was a new plane and the volume wasn't adjusted yet. I have never been on a flight where I had to pay for water! I have since learned Frontier doesn't allow TSA precheck - will never fly this airline again for that reason.
Pros: Never flew with any other airlines aside from United until I flew for the first time with Frontier. I have to say, I had a pretty good experience. I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked.
Cons: I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining.
Pros: The crew was very professional and very nice. The equipment was new and clean, which is also greatly appreciated. Excellent job in these two areas.
Cons: Absolutely do not like that Frontier Airlines does not offer TSA Pre-Check service for its passengers who are enrolled in the program. I was not aware of this ahead of time, but it was confirmed to me after looking at my ticketing and speaking with several TSA agents from my departing airport, Orlando (MCO). They said Frontier is one of the very few carriers that do not participate in this program for some reason. I would love to know what that reason is? This is a very important feature for me. Without a good reason for not offering this service, I must say I am far less likely to chose Frontier in the future, along with having to make recommendations to my colleagues to avoid Frontier for this reason for their travel needs as well.
Pros: Considering I almost didn't get a seat in the plane even though I paid for my flight prior to the fly day, there isn't much that I did like. However, I do realize that it was not any of the crews fault. With that being said, I loved how informational and informative and polite the flight crew was. Even the pilot had great communication with us and the flight attendants.
Cons: Well where should I start. Talk about delay and they wouldn't even up date up on the delays either. When I would walk up to the desk and ask he was too busy to answer any of my questions. I also got there early and I aparntly didn't have a seat on the plane! I was going home to supruze my father for easter and there was no way I could have gone any later. I waited for everyone else to line up and go inside and get their seat because I noticed that my ticket has NN on my seat number and my zone was 99. This is very uncalled for. Considering that I payed an outrageous cost for one damn flight to Illinois in which I know you all do every night! They closed the doors to the hallway to the plane and informed not only myself but 3 others to go to the desk and they would figure out what they could! THERE WAS A WOMEN WHO HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET HOME FOR 3 DAYS. So you obviously had screwed her over and now you were about to screw all of us. Now I will say yes I am very upset with you at Frontier. But I was not about to take it out on the people working at the airport. The companies practice of overbooking is unexceptable during this time of year, Easter weekend, and not saving a seat for a women who has been trying to go home for three days. I am very upset and my ticket was very overpriced. Specially for how I got treated, due to he overbooking. Now they had one seat saved/ left over and because I kept my calm and didn't yell at your workers inside he airport they offered it to me. But if it was not for my calmness I would not be home with my family. That right there is unexceprtable!
Cons: Worst experience ever. I am a frequent flyer and I will NEVER give frontier my business again. Our flight was delayed without explaination... Hidden fees... I paid $350 to bring 3 bags. And I had to pay for my seat... ludacris... I was 45 minutes early for my departure and was told I was 2 MINUTES too late and I could not board the plane. ZERO courtesy, compassion, or help from the crew. They gave me a blank stare as I balled like a baby (Trying to get home to my infant son) ... Proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do and that for $200 I could fly home the following night!! 200 dollars for a flight I already paid for!!... They even charge for WATER for crying out loud ... I could go on... pitaful.
Cons: I could not figure out how to pay for my bag in advance. When I asked the agent at check-in they were not helpful. The check in counter does not open until two hours before the flight long lines at check in and security barely made it to gate.
