Cons: "5 hour delay. That about says it all. All due to late flight crew from weather elsewhere, having them being taken offline because of long hours, trying to find new people, having a jetway break. Having to sit on a plane in the terminal for more than an hour with no air and stifling heat, taken off the plane and back on. All for a non-stop flight from Boston to LA. Definitely not fun."

Cons: "My issue with flying back American is that...I didn't. They boarded us on the plane, moved down the tarmac, and then checked to see that we had a brake problem. They took our plane out of service (which I get, I would want brakes before takeoff), but then they never updated us on our status, until I physically went to the counter to ask an hour later. This is when they informed me that the flight was cancelled and we were rebooked on the 9pm flight (Mind you, this is 12:30p and I have a 2 year old with me). Luckily, I was able to book JetBlue and get home earlier (8:00pm)"

Cons: "Checking-in at CDG was very inefficient, it took forever, even though it was automated. Having to put my own tags on my bag is not great, especially if they fall out. No personal screen for entertainment on a transatlantic flights? Really -it's 2017? Food was really bad - all packaged snacks."
Pros: "Everything great. Rate food and entertainment moderate because there was no dinner, which we did not require, and we went to sleep so didn't pay attention to entertainment."
Pros: "The flight crew was professional, friendly and competent. They served the dinner as early in the flight as possible."
Cons: "This was a plane with central screens along the aisle, and the airline chose to broadcast a sci-fi action movie with almost constant flashing blue light, and violent action scenes. This was first of all a movie that many people, including me, would never choose to watch, but since it was on the aisle screens there was no getting away from it. It was also unsuitable for children, even without sound. But mainly, I object to the showing of any film in that situation - only aisle screens available, and on a night flight where most of the passengers are trying to sleep. I was awakened several times by the flashing lights. Other things: one of the bathrooms was not very clean, and the plane felt like the usual cattlecar, with just 3 seats on each side of the aisle, which is unusual and unpleasant for a transatlantic flight."
Cons: "Seat 20f It was very uncomfortable and freezing My legs were sore after the journey. Besides until 30 seconds before actual boarding time the members didn't inform about the delay. Everybody had formed lines and we see people getting out only then."

Cons: "Space between seats too small, breakfast not good, too far inside the plane... Not so happy of the company rules : whatever you want to change, it will cost you. I suppose it's the way to keep flights cheap, but it's not fair to pay if when you arrive first, you have to pay to change for another seat... One free luggage of 23 kg when you cross the Atlantic is not enough..."

I had to fly a red-eye from San Fran to Boston getting in at 6AM with meetings that started at 10AM...had to BUY a day-pass at the Admirals Club (I feel this could have been provided as it was mechanical issues that caused the delays). THEN my trip from Boston home were delayed so they switched me to another flight and then THAT one was delayed twice so I actually got home later than if I had taken the original flight! Overall the flights really sucked!!"

Cons: "One of the few things SouthWest, Alaska & United did was the proper queuing of people to get into the plane. AA is a free for all - those who follow regulations will fall behind. In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."
