Departing flight for our weekend trip was cancelled due to weather which meant our return flight was useless. The whole thing was difficult to get support through but Alaska did recover and was able to reimburse us for the flights yesterday. For some reason, Kayak was not kept in the loop, adding to the confusion.
You sent me an email saying boarding was at 9:29 and AA sent one that was 8:29 on Sunday morning. I had to call AA to get that it was indeed 8:29.
The airport crew and on board experience was fine. The problem with Alaska air is that there is zero customer service over the phone when you’re trying to buy your ticket or change anything.
Generally very good. Waiting (due to de-icing and traffic) in plane to take off was a put-off. But it's not the airline's fault. I find Airbus more comfortable than Boeing.

The flight was a disaster. It is a 40 min flight and we waited to the tarmac for well over 90 min with no updates, while the crew tried to reconcile the seating chart of people on the plane to what their phones showed. Terrible communication, systems and experience. I would do almost anything to avoid taking another Alaska flight after the experience last night.
Food was bad. Just a drink for a 5 hour flight
Leg and arm room are horrible. I am not a big person and found it tight.
You need a n/a category. Too short a flight for food. I love flying on Alaska from Santa Rosa Airport!
Late. Too long a flight for a 737. 0.5 oz of pretzels for a 5+ hour flight at dinner time. One step above Ryan Air/ several below Delta.
Going non stop to lax like I paid for. Not stopping in MCI for gas. Too long of delays
Found that the plane used for this short flight is smaller and therefore the seats are really squeezed tight.
Tv screens and movie selection v good. Friendly staff. They were really worried about max capacity and room for carryons. That is never fun but i had no problem finding space when I boarded.
Delayed for mechanical and no updates on what was happening and how long the delay might be.
A first class seat should fit a fat person, and this doesn't. The trays in the armrest are less functional than an ordinary tray in the back of the seat.
The experience at checkin for my American Airlines flight from Sacramento to LAX was very good including the assistance I received in getting my bags checked in and boarding passes printed. Was pleasantly surprised the my bags were checked through all the way to my destination at Clark International Airport in Angeles, Philippines.
Great experience. Good dinner and service. FA's were very nice and attentive.
Jill was the flight attendant in first class she was fabulous!! Best flight attendant I have had in years.!! And I fly every other week. Other can learn from her!!
The business steward was absolutely amazing! Smiles and kindness! Wish all AA flights are like this one!
Never going to fly your airline again if it can be avoided.
