The seats were unbearable. I have flown an international flight before and it wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as this flight was. You people purposely make coach unbearable so that we pretty much have to suck it up and pay the extra money to fly in the better section where when I flew in Lufthansa it was comfy and I had no problems. I will NEVER fly with condor again after this trip. You are a pathetic excuse for an airline
I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others.
If I were going to list any negatives, I would say that the little travel pillow that was given to the passengers was so thin that it was practically useless, but I brought my own with me, so I was none the less comfortable.
Flight delayed due to weather. Rebooking was a zoo, had to pay for hotel room and worst of all waited over an hour at baggage claim to get our bags back. It's taking us 2 days to get from Albuquerque to Austin.
First nonstop flight to Germany - I had 2 seats and could stretch, that was great.
There's only 4 free movies to watch (2 of them for kids) - the rest was 8 euros per film! Ridiculous !! My carry on (the same bag I used for years) was too big for their standards and had to be checked. They did this for free but only the first flight. When I return, they said it would cost me ...?
The airplane itself was nice. Comfortable. Plane wasn't full so everyone had plenty of room.
Food was terrible. People kept saying they were hungry. Entertainment was also terrible. Not much was available to watch and I've never had to pay for headphones until this flight. The crew was arguing amongst themselves the whole time. 2 blonde women,flight attendants, argued throughout the flight.
9:40pm flight was 1 1/2 hours late caused us to miss connection in frankfurt to florence - flight attendants reassured passengers that all connections would be re-booked before we landed and info would be at gate when we arrived-we got to frankfurt & there was no info at all about connections-we went to original gate & by the time we got there the gates in that terminal were all closed down & no employees - finally found a rebooking desk & next flight was not for 5 hours-return trip was even worse 18 hour delay & bused to hotel
