Cons: "as far as a seat in coach goes, you're getting a pretty good deal. obviously flying 14 hours across the pacific is pretty rough and we would all like to fly first class, but as far as coach goes, I cant complain. only downside was that I had an exit seat, so tons of leg room, but couldn't use the entertainment while in taxi, takeoff and landing, where I could've squeezed another movie in, but its a safety thing and a fair trade for the extra room."

They almost cancelled my entire trip, even though I paid for it, because while at work I could not pick up the phone when they called me. This site is seriously a scam to buy your ticket from. I survived and was able to go---but I would never encourage anyone to buy through this site, unless you just really love living a nightmare. If you love nightmares, why not. Go ahead."

Cons: "american airlines does not care about the privacy of their passengers. even after several calls my information wasn't updated correctly and my flight confirmation was passed along to members who weren't even traveling. there was no in flight entertainment and in order to pick seats together i needed to pay extra (i thought i was flying with american not spirit) apparently the only way i can be helped is writing a letter to customer service which they will review within 10 business days. THANKS american for starting a war in my family and ruining my trip. unfortunate the crew is so awesome but the customer service is mortifying, rude, inconsiderate and completely mechanical. i dont ever intend on flying with them again unless necessary."

Lo que fue horrible, el olor, los pasajeros haciendo fila al lado de mi asiento todo el tiempo, sin poder descansar o estar tranquila. Comprendo que pueden haber descompuestos en el avión y cambiarlo por otro pero al menos al re asignar asientos deberían ver los lugares iniciales que tenía cada uno y no dejar a quienes habían solicitado con anticipación los primeros en el último, literalmente en los últimos puestos. Además la comida es bastante mala."
Pros: "At 6' 2" I was surprised that, with the seat in front of me not reclined (and fortunately no one ever did), my knees actually had a bit of room and were not pressed into the seat back in front of me. That and the flight schedule went smoothly - everything was on time."

In this flight, the did recline 170º but formed a ramp that did slowly slide the passenger under the set in front of him. I'd recommend someone from AA should fly Lufthansa Business Class or Singapore Airlines Business to check out how it should be done! ANd then, flying a beaten up 777-200er while its competitors fly 787 is nonhing but a shame!"

They abide by their ridiculous rules and plainly will not work with you. Besides that they started to charge for separate baggage fees. So you'll but a ticket for "cheap" but then they will charge you double for baggage both ways. My boyfriend purchased a ticket and wanted to make changes...they wanted to charge him $100 to change flight info. RIDICULOUS. He ended buying another ticket....Spirit took $200 in fees extra from us."

The 3 groups of travelers before me took an unusually long time as they could not understand why they were not allowed to get boarding passes. The CS Manager did direct me to an airline that I was able to buy full price ticket from."
Cons: "The same excuse was given to every traveler that was in the line with me. I listened to it explained to at least 10 travelers that day. Since that time, I have yet to hear any positive feedback from anyone that travels frequently. You seem to pray on people that do not travel often. The ticket that was purchased for this fight was bought by my wife. She was trying to do me a favor. And the airline DIDNT EVEN OFFER WATER! And let's not forget that we weren't told ahead of time they charge for carry-on bags, so our affordable tickets went up $110 in cost. I will never fly Spirit again."

Saved the airline money on a courier from Houston to Galveston. I still don't have my clothes will pick them up at the ship. I called them to see if they would comp all my luggage on the way back but they wouldn't. I will never fly spirit airlines again. Thought I was getting a good deal on the flight but didn't with there expensive bag check on policy. $166 for three bags then I have to pay the same on the way home. What a rip off"

When you factor that in with the cost of the ticket, the price isn't much lower than other airlines that include the extras in the price."
