Pros: "The plane flew me safely to my destination. Nothing unpleasant happened. Those are the best things I could say about it."
Cons: "Overhead bin space was full when I boarded (I was in row 9!), so I had to check my roll aboard and hold my backpack at my feet the whole flight. The bin space above my row was being used to store trays of snacks for the food service. Don't they have somewhere else to store service items so bin space is available for passengers? In explicably we left sunny and calm Burbank 45 minutes late. No water was offered until we'd been on the plane for 2 hours."

Cons: "I really love flying Jet Blue. I don't mean to criticize, the following is written in an effort for improvement: The hour-long delay and the long wait time on the runway. A passenger got up to use the bathroom right before we were going to take off - we had to wait for her. Another passenger pressed the flight attendant call button right after lift-off. All of the food for purchase was sold out by the time it got to the back of the plane. And I could be wrong, but I don't remember going through safety instructions because we were waiting for a while and then had to hurry when we got clearance from air traffic control."

Cons: "Let me preface that I have children and grandchildren of my own. There was a family of 3 behind me, 2 adults and a child under 1. The baby was fussy which was no problem. I just put on my headphones. I understand this happens and sympathize with the parents. However, they allowed this child to constantly kick my seat through the flight which was annoying and unfortunate. There were empty seats in front of me but I didn't want to offend anyone by asking to move. :("

Cons: "The flight was delayed for over 2 hours because of a reported maintenance issue with the aircraft but was originally delayed because of not having flight attendants available. When the flight attendants did finally arrive they all had an attitude of wishing to be anywhere but on this flight. The lead flight attendant even got into a verbal altercation with the gate agent demanding help getting people's bags into the overhead compartment because she was "injured" & not supposed to be at work. All in all a quite dissatisfying experience but not an uncommon one with this airline & this airport. I will use both only when I have absolutely no other options."

Cons: "The seatback offered free streaming of AA entertainment on my tablet, but when I opened the browser and selected entertainment, the only option was to pay $9.95, so I just watched downloaded Netflix episodes. Plus the movies offered on AA streaming didn't look especially good."

Only, my new flight from London was delayed by one hour, causing me to land late in Philadelphia, and miss my new connecting flight to Raleigh. I was put on a different flight, but there was no seat for me, so I ended up being stuck at the airport overnight. All these in one day!"

Cons: "My departure changed three times, The first change was an 82-minute delay, then a 2-hour delay, then a 30-minute delay. Overall, the final departure as only 30 minutes after my initially scheduled departure, but it caused a lot of frustration."

I am a million mile flyer with AA, I had the same status on NW, and high mileage on Lufthansa, and other international carriers. At the height of my career I was a 100% road warrior flying internationally weekly The food on this flight was the worst I have ever been presented with."

Cons: "The airline "randomly" selected me for extra security. Even though I have TSA pre-check I was jostled around, sent to multiple security lines without any reasoning and the local Chicago TSA and airport staff didn't seem to know what to do. Once it was figured out I was subjected to what was essentially a cavity search. Again I HAVE TSA-pre-check but apparently that means nothing if an airline flags you. It was an extremely upsetting experience but you were in a situation of either agree to the invasive search or get stranded over 1000 miles from home. I will NEVER fly Iberia again after a cancelled flight and being stranded in the wrong country on the way to my vacation and the horrible security experience on the way back. I seriously may never go to Chicago either after seeing the complete lack of organization and traumatizing personal invasion. I fly a lot for work and have never had such a horrible experience. I would really like to know how many terrorists are caught with these invasive searches and would love to know the justification for sticking your hands inside someone's pants and grabbing their privates after they have already gone through a metal detector AND the body scanner. Especially for someone who has already passed a federal background check to obtain pre-check status. Absolutely ridiculous."

Also, because of the outdated entertainment suite, the headphone jack is located in the armrest to the side instead of in the seat back in front of you. This caused me to bend my 3.5mm headphone connection at one point while I was moving my leg, because the connection jack is located below thigh level. The temperature was unbearable, and could not be controlled by the flight crew. Dressed for winter weather and roasted for the entire flight. I actually was dehydrated when we landed because I was sweating for 7 hours crossing the ocean."

Pros: "One of us had the last seat on the plane even though they were reserved almost a month ago. However we had signed up for basic economy so that was not a shock. What was a shock was that water was dripping from the top side track onto his lap and he had to use the provided brochures to redirect the dripping water. The steward said it was condensation and that was it. Also, since it was next to bathroom, the smell wasn't great and the small child screaming while waiting to get into the bathroom wasn't pleasant."

I stand in the gate line for Premier access and the gate crew lady asked me to go and pay for a carry on bag in a very loud voice and asked me to get out of premier access line. When I asked her to take a look at my premier access status, she said stop yelling. Then another man in a suit walks in and first word out of his mouth is not an apology, but a threatening "Don't yell". I just kept walking away from this unqualified person lest it goes out of control. United needs to do a lot better. Just because these gate crew people feel stressed out, they should not take on innocent travelers. Instead of putting a customer under a defensive position, they need to learn to respect the customer. United is training their crew in a wrong way.."

Cons: "A gal that sat with me on the first flight had seat 15a on the flight to Raleigh, she gets very sick and needed the window seat....BUT. you folks are so screwed up at ticketing that you NEVER book families together. I've flow with you folks 20 years and its always been a hassle. The seating is so tight, I could barely move my legs when the seat in front of me was reclined (and I am tiny!) I landed after my connecting flight was already boarded, causing an employee from the airline to announce my name over the intercom on the plane and tell the passengers to "clear a lane for me." I ran with my suitcase over my head, bumping into people and making it to my next gate...where I was told there was ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM for my carry on...which was also, very tiny. I specifically did not want to check my bag because I needed to immediately hop off the plane to make it to work on time. Another customer was VERY upset about having to check his bag and was pulled aside. I finally was told I needed to check my bag at the gate to get on. So i did. As I entered the plane, about half of it was COMPLETELY empty with PLENTY of room. I was floored. About 10 minutes later, the very angry man happily entered with his carry on and stored it easily in the overhead bin. My frustration was at a peak. But I said nothing. When I arrived to Newark, I rushed to baggage claim and guess what? After 30 minutes of waiting, my bag never showed up. I had to check in with information and finally found it. But this caused to me to be late for work. I have usually had a great experience with United. But this experience has changed my mind completely and am very upset."

Cons: "The plane was a small plane and we had to disembark on the tarmac. There were two attendants with wheelchairs but they didn't have my name so I walked on. The flight attendant called to me and said to wait. One of the attendants came up with a wheelchair and said he would take me. Unfortunately, a steep ramp had to be used to get into the airport building. He asked another worker to help him and all the way up the ramp I had to listen to comments about "good thing they had eaten their Wheaties" and "they were getting a good workout." I know that I am not a small person, but these ongoing comments were rude and insulting. When we got into the gate the attendant told me that he didn't have my name on his list and had to call for permission to take me through the airport. I waited and he came back and said he couldn't take me, but if I could wait someone else could come for me. I had waited enough already and suffered their rude comments, so I said no thanks and walked slowly through the airport. This experience has left me with a bad feeling for the airline and its personnel. I believe their staff could use sensitivity training at the very least!"

An airport employee told me that 2 other major airlines bump Frontier a lot when it comes to unloading luggage but I didn’t confirm that with Frontier."

They were screaming and laughing, and the party lasted until 4:10 am when the noisiest guy finally walked to the front of airplane. What kind of person can keep talking so loud when 23:00 flight get delayed 3 hours and all the lights were out and every passenger is being quiet? How inconsiderate is that? How thoughtless is that? And most importantly how unprofessional is it to work like that? I really wanted to tell those people to shut up but I was sitting in the middle and didn’t want to bother other passengers. You know, even if I did talk to them, people like that probably wouldn’t understand what they were doing wrong and I would waste my time anyway. So in conclusion, NEVER FLY FRONTIER. I’d pay whatever to fly different airlines."

But how is it possible that Frontier can scan my ticket and not notice that I'm about to board the wrong flight? How is it possible that their computer system didn't alert them that I was about to board a flight for which I did not have a ticket? It seems more likely that the person who scanned my ticket wasn't paying attention."

Cons: "Frontier managed to oversell both my flight out and all connecting flights to Orlando. After buying tickets several months in advance, I arrived at the airport to find both myself and several other passengers were unable to board because Frontier has sold more tickets than seats, likely counting on some passengers to not arrive. As a result, I could either by a new ticket at 8x the price I paid Frontier, or pay for a taxi and then drive 9 hours to Florida and 9 hours back. I ended up driving, and after several hours on the phone with Frontier managed to get a refund- solely for the original price of the tickets. They refused to offer any additional compensation. The moral of the story is that I paid a few hundred dollars to Frontier so that they could wildly disrupt my travel plans, cost me about 12 hours of my time, add in some surprise expenses, and reluctantly give me back my money and call us even. Next time I'll pay more for a ticket that has a solid chance of actually being worth something. Never again, Frontier."

Staff were friendly and for a short flight (<2 hours) I felt it was perfectly comfortable, and I'm very happy with my decision given that the flight was <$100 and direct."

To be fair part of this is my responsibility, I should have done more research into exactly how much the extra fees were going to cost. After it was all said and done I spent more traveling with frontier than I would have with American or Delta. They charged for absolutely everything. Here is where they truly lost me as a potential return customer. They allow you a personal item as long as it fits under your seat but will charge you for a carry on. The personal item I had on my flight out to Denver did not cost me anything, however, the exact same item on my way out of Denver was now deemed a carry on item by the ticketing agent and cost me $45 to carry on. Not only was I being extorted but the attitude in which they were doing it was completely unacceptable. Had I known, I could have saved some money and paid on line for the carry on. Changing the rules of the game and providing me no remedy when I ask about the change in policy by responding, "I'm saying its a carry on" is why I will never fly frontier again. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on the front end because frontier will find a way to squeeze it out of you on the backend. And will expect you to smile and thank them for it."

In the process of the conversation, the line was dropped off, minutes later I called again and the agent said that all tickets sold out and first available Wednesday 08/15 at 6;30 am. I had nothing but to agree. I continue to call customer service and after spending on calls hours and hours, I got lucky and booked at the same 525 Flight 24 hours later. Arrived two hours before departure, and got informed that the flight late one hour, then two and a half hours, then 4 hours..... Finally, we took off at 9; 45. From the moment we arrived at the gate 41 and 45minutes before departure no representative was present at the gate. I'm a person with a disability and was trapped in a wheelchair for hours and no one informed about any updates. Hours without water, food and most important information. Thanks to Kayak and Spirit app I got updates on my phone."

I know other airlines are cheaper for bags and you get free snacks and drinks and a free carry on through Delta so I will be flying Delta next time. The over all flight was good and I'm thankful the crew was nice and the pilot for getting us there safe!"

Cons: "Due to delays in security, I arrived 23 minutes before departure time. I was told that I could. It board and had been removed from manifold as is policy 20 min before departure time. When I noted I had 3 minutes as per their own policy I was in no way accommodated. Will not fly Spirit again."

Cons: "The seats are hard, solid plastic! There are no drinks or snacks for free. You must pay even for a cup of water. You pay more to carry your bag on then to check it! The flight crew hated their jobs and were very unhappy. The airport crew even boareded the plane early without making an announcement in the terminal and the pulp had to reopen the doors to allow 8 passengers to board! Never again."

Cons: "Got to my gate, the computer said my flight was arriving on time for myrtle beach, so as I was sitting there waiting, I just so happened to hear one of the employees passing into elevator that my flight had changed to a different terminal (at the other end of the airport). So I quickly got up and went over (along with a handful of other passengers). When we got there, we had asked if it indeed got switched. With a snobby reply, were told yes. When we asked why there was no announcement, she said that she was just going to (not even 5 minutes before we were about to board. Then she got on the PA system and said "all zones boarding" so it was like a damn mob scene loading. Additionally, the plane was terribly small. I'm not a big guy by any means (tall but not wide) and I had to sit all prim and proper with my legs straight facing forward and my arms squeezed together or else I would of been bumping into the other passengers. There was also not complementary snacks or soda (which is fine) but they charged $3 for like 6 ounces of soda or a little snack pack of pretzels. Furthermore, there are no tv's, arm rests with the audio jacks (arm rests were maybe a foot long), they had no magazines, and the trays that fold down were the size of like four note cards. A just a heads up, don't buy the cancellation package/insurance for your ticket. I'm starting a new job at the end of the month and had to change my ticket. When I called, I was then told that this could only be used for job layoff or death in the family. I then told them job layoff, I was then asked if I was there for more than a year (I was only there for 6 months) and said no but lost that job because it went out of business. I was then told this wouldn't count and that there was nothing they could do for me. So then I had to end up buying another ticket at full price."
