Pros: "I LOVED the comfort of the ample seating space and leg room, compared to American and free WiFi and movies with the individual monitors on the seat backs for every passenger. I flew Jet Blue on my return flight from LA to Boston to attend our son’s USC graduation. The flight from Boston to LA was on an American Airlines flight. The seats were super narrow with very cramped leg room. To add insult to discomfort , I learned just after take off on the American flight to LA that our dogs got loose at home and the person caring for them was frantic. I had to purchase in flight WIFI ($16/ hour $18 for the entire flight) to attend to the Lost dog issue (hugely stressful) only to learn after the flight that $300 worth of fraudulent charges occurred during the flight that my bank’s fraud department claims occurred as a result of entering my card information to purchase the internet access. That depleted the majority of our travel budget. (We live paycheck to paycheck and had pinched & saved to be able attend this special event) I was so apprehensive on the returning flight and can’t describe my relief to learn the WIFI was free. My fears dissolved as did my aching head and back as I settled into a wonderfully comfortable seat with far more leg room than my prior flight. Thanks Key Blue! You have a fan for life!!"

However another lady ask my uncle 60 dollars for a weelchair and left him without the weelchair because he did not pay her. No one there to help us out because Avana controlled everything. Also the control to my entertainment was on the right side, where the middle person kept changing my channels and volume. (I sat at a window seat) The guy next to me fell asleep and so it was super hard to get to my controller (although there is one on the computer, he was still messing with it with his elbow)."

Also, it was not clear that the international flight flew from the AA terminal and not from the International terminal where Iberia flies from...I had to walk to the AA terminal with all my bags which was stressful since I was dropped off at the international terminal which made sense as it was an international flight and the ticket did not say it was flying from the AA terminal only that it was operated by AA.."

I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."

But the food very so bad, even easyjet has better food. Also their understanding for the english was so poor but the air stewardess told me " we speak American" !!!!"

Cons: "The flight from LAX to HKG was diverted to Haneda, Tokyo. The septic tank was not properly emptied in LAX. Flight in Hong Kong was delayed by about 2 hours due to this diversion. I agree with the call from the Captain. It's a pity that the poor quality of service team in LAX (probably 1-2 individuals) caused tremendous inconvenience to passengers and crew."

Lastly, these delays caused the plane to arrive in Tokyo at 12:30AM (originally it was 10:30PM). All transportations options were closed. I had to take a $90 USD taxi fare into the city. JAL or AA should have given travel vouchers to everyone who needed them. BAD SERVICE, BAD COMMUNICATIONS, BAD RATING."

I forgot to do so for this flight and an invitation to online checkin as well as more information about the boarding process (i.e.: the gates in this airport are further from the terminals than typical airports) would be gratefullly allreciately."

Cons: "I understand that spirit is a cheap airlines particularly serving those without luggage; however, when having luggage I spent $200 for a flight to pdx to lax - not a good deal. $200 for that flight should come with some kind of incredible perks which is not the case with spirit where you don't even get proper flight updates on the screen or tray tables. Also, it is clear that your airlines prey on those who follow directions as I saw handfuls of people walking through the gate with their luggage and not being charged, my boyfriend/travel companion for example paid nothing for his luggage, disregarded all memos via loud speaker and walked on with his unpaid for luggage. The experience with spirit was undesirable in every way and I will never chose this airline over another (luggage in hard or not) after the poor experience and being completely ripped off. I plan to share this message with social media and yelp sites as well."

Cons: "Everything was awful from the way they handled bags, to the communication about delays, to the delays themselves, to the failure to take care of passengers given the long delays. Before signing up for a Spirit flight, make sure you add the cost of checking carry-on bag, getting a seat assignment, getting any water during flight, boarding (yes they up charge for boarding). Then, make sure you factor in the small size of the airline which makes it far, far more vulnerable to weather delays - fewer planes, fewer pilots, fewer re-routes available. Also, add at least an hour to the end of each flight to get your bags if you do check them. So, you don't save money or time, and you're very vulnerable to weather and mechanical. With their organization this bad, I can only imagine how weak their mechanical is."

I would suggest Spirit does something similar. I don't like all the extra charges, for example for a second carry-on, but I get it, it's your way of offering cheap flights. I gave the food and entertainment only 3 stars just because of the charge, I didn't actually purchase anything."

Pros: "I found that my flight was very economical , on time at a convenient time , & that's all that I am interested in . Thankyou very much."

Cons: "Charging on a bag 52~55 $ was terrible, even if it is your policy. I will not use your flight. It is because I thought that your flight is cheaper than other companies, but it was not cheaper actually. So I feel that I was deceived. And the counter employees (in LAX) seemed that they laughed on my poor English. employee"

Cons: "On my departing flight I was delayed right off the bat for 2 hours. Then after that we sat on the tarmac for 2 hours and then deboarded and delayed another 3 hours. The staff was very unhelpful and I paid $28 for a seat upgrade which was not even fulfilled because I requested an aisle seat and got a window seat. The staff was also very rude and told me this why hispanic people have a sterotype. On my arriving flight I was double charged for my carrying on and backpack. I was told that I would need to pay for both but when I went into the gate that was not the case and I saw that my backpack met specifications to not be charged. When I paid the fee the attendant took money out from her brasserie to give me change and then pocketed the cash and when I asked for a reciet she said the computer system was down and on my boarding ticket it did not have that I paid for a carry on so I was given a hard time at the gate. When I explained what happened they said okay as if this shady stuff is acceptable. I was then delayed in the air for 2 hours and rerouted to detroit to get gas. We were told to hold tight and not allowed to use the restroom for an hour to then be told we had to deboard for an addtional 2 hours. This is horrible and I will continue to speak with someone until I get a refund."

Cons: "The uncomfortable seat which could not be reclined for a little comfort. The seat pitch (distance between 2 rows) was awful because the passenger in the seat right behind me was constantly kicking me in my back and that was very annoying."

Cons: "lackluster attendants, no drink cart...or maybe I was sleeping..? Seats don't recline...not even a little bit!"

Cons: "You have to pay for EVERYTHING. No point in saving on the front end when it'll be more expensive after anyway"

Cons: "I was ripped off because when we baught the ticket - including speaking to a sales agent no mention was made of 50$for Suitcase. As the guy at the reception said: " It is in the small type". I felt cheated, will never fly you again and tell mt friends about it and have a nice day"

Cons: "I don't like tricks or gimmicks. I want to know costs before I book a flight. I chose Spirit because of the lower ticket price. Little did I know I would be charged for my "carry on" ($55) and a bottle of water ($3). Not flying Spirit again."

Cons: "This was one of the worst flight experiences of my entire life. I had to pay almost $200 in extra fees, which included everything from checked bags, carry on bags AND seat selection. Their website is awful! It took me over 2 hours plus 2 customer service phone calls before I was able to check in for my flight. Completely disorganized at the airport. Under staffed. We arrived 2 hours early and barely made our flight. We were in lines so long we barely had time to use the restroom, let alone find any kind of food for the flight. Upon boarding, I witnessed one of the flight attendants being extremely rude and hostile to a female customer who was talking to her friend about how bad her Spirit experience was. A supervisor came back and instead of reprimanding the rude flight attendant, she told all of us that if the flight attendant didn't feel "comfortable" with any of us, we would be "removed" from the flight! The flight was delayed because they closed the cabin doors before 10 additional customers were able to make it through their ridiculous lines. Instead of apologizing for their incompetence, they blamed the customers for being late, despite the fact that at least one of them initially arrived at the same time we did (2 hours before the flight)! Oh and the flight itself was rickety as hell with screaming babies everywhere. I'm absolutely DREADING the return flight home. This is the worst airline ever and should be shut down as soon as possible."

Pros: "The crew and boarding was fine, the plane was clean and looked in good condition."
Cons: "The seats were cramped! the seat in front of me was literally 12 inches from my face. You are packed in like sardines, can't move, very uncomfortable. When I put my tray down it hit my stomach. Don't expect food or drink, it all cost money. The pilot was selling stuff too before landing kinda ridiculous. Baggage all cost money on top of the flight. It seems that they really try to nickel and dime you."

Pros: "Very efficient flight. The cabin was clean and comfortable. For the cost of the tickets I got a fantastic value, @ even 50% more this would have been satisfactory. Flew form Oakland, Ca. to LA and back, on the return flight we got assigned the upfront big seats which was a nice treat."
Cons: "We were going to do online check-in but there was a charge for that. Being a budget airline I can understand. Checking in at the terminal kiosk was no problem at all."

Pros: "The crew was very friendly and funny."
Cons: "The seats are very uncomfortable, hard, small and they don't recline. You have to pay extra for everything even water!"

Pros: "Everything."
Cons: "Nothing."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 3 hrs"

Cons: "Very disorganized. I would recommend nobody fly on this airline. Pay the couple of extra bucks at airline that will more than likely get you to your destination on time."
