And although the partner with Azul, they claimed that they could not check us through to our final destination. Coming home, Azul did this for us without issue. Gates E-9 and E-10 at Fort Lauderdale are a disaster waiting to happen. There is inadequate separation between the two gates to allow efficient boarding. When the flight out of E-9 got delayed, they ended up boarding two flight at the same time. Boarding announcements dd not specify flights and it became a huge snafu. The crew did not try to change it - they plowed ahead ignoring the confusion they were causing. On board, the movies did not run smoothly - one was restarted three times. I have tried to book on Jet Blue firt in the past. My last three experiences are making me rethink this."

I had paid for a 4 day vacation at a resort in Argentina so my 4 day stay became a 2 day stay because Jet Blue would not purchase a seat from a booked passenger on the next flight as I requested. I will never use this airline again and would strongly advise anyone who wants or needs to be at their destination on time avoid them."

Maybe that's just her face but I'm used to a more pleasant crew at Jet Blue. However, the lady that greeted us on the plane was nice throughout the whole flight."

I even brought my laptop to get some work done, but without a plugin to keep it charged, it died. In this day and age, for an overseas flight that is 10 hours long, to be this old old without updated features and without plugins, this is unacceptable. Flat out ridiculous. This plane was SO OLD and dingy. Just awful."

The yogurt and granola was ok but not everyone has a yen for either of them. The dried apple and berries were too sweet. All in all we found this meal to be unsatisfsctory. The staff had only the most necessary contact with us which was to serve and remove trays and garbage."

Cons: "Spirit is ranked America's most hated airline for a reason and that reason I discovered on my last trip. I believe its the most deceptive airline ever. After paying almost $200 for a midweek round trip from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando I also had to pay $55.00 for HAND luggage in one direction. To make matters worse I join their $9 club thinking I would save on my luggage on the return I then had to pay $57.00 for the same hand luggage on the return. After that experience I decide to return to Ft' Lauderdale on the morning flight instead of the evening flight I was booked on. After several calls to their reservation department and 4 persons later I had to paid apprx $120.00 for a SAME DAY change. What was funny is that when I got on the aircraft it had no more than 50 persons on it. So what started out as a quick cheap business trip was now well over $400 and counting . It gets better, thirsty from all the up selling along the way and no way to get a glass of water Spirit then charged me $3.00 for a small bottle of water. I decide to keep my thirst. NOT ANOTHER RED CENT SPIRIT!! BY FAR THE WORSE AIRLINE EVER"

Pros: "Spirit claims to be the cheapest airline, but charges over $50 for carry on items. The day of my flight, the lines to check in were out the door at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. The kiosks were all down & the employees were shouting at everyone to direct them. If a simple question was asked, the Spirit employees would snap & move on to the next person, without really helping. I was late to my flight because of wrong information that was given to me and I almost did not make it in time. Just like any other airline these days, no food is given for free. The seats are the bare minimum."

The flight was oversold, they had people on standby. $5 for half a cup of soda or juice, they don't even give you your whole can. Plane was freezing, people were wearing their polar fleece. On top of that, they announce an advertisement for their credit card aboard, with a whole plane of captive listeners forced to hear. Awful customer service, no phone number to call, will never fly spirit again If I can ever help it!!!"

Cons: "Having to pay for a carry on is rediculous, penny pinching scam to up the cost of flying The attendant picking up the garbage was rude I disagreeing with him on some stupid topic and he said to mess with him that the attendants always win and the passenger always loses."

Cons: "I bought the plan ticket thing the seating was included only to find out I paid for the ticket but not the seats. I had to pay to sit going and coming even though I have a ticket. I had to pay for a carry-on to go and come back when other airlines give it for free. I had to check in everything by myself or I would have to pay. If I knew I would have to pay for everything individually I would have fly with a different airline. I use Spirit to save money only to end up paying more money."

The seats are the most uncomfortable, no tvs, no space, no reclining seats -- jet blue costs the same and has amazing features, service and crew...I'm never flying Spirit again!!!"
