We understand things like this happen with travel, but the lack of compassion for the situation was shocking. They were not apologetic at all! The lack of communication in English added to the frustration. This was our first and definitely only time we travel with Aeromexico!"

I ended up purchasing tickets on delta to get to Cancun. However I was under the impression that I would return with Aeromexico on the round trip ticket I had already bought.NO! according to Aeromexico even though you buy a round trip ticket if you fail to use 1 leg of the trip you loose both ways WHAT! Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. I would paddle boat rather than use this air again."

A wheel chair and attendant were waiting for him in Cancun and in Newark. We were wheeled through customs and to baggage claim. The attendants did not leave us until we were at the door ready to exit the airport. We could not have been treated any better. Looking forward to next week's hip replacement and future travels with United."

The Cancun airport crew, including Paz and Raphael, worked with US consulate (on a day they are typically closed) to get permission for him to board the return flight. Pros: "The boarding was quick and well managed, the flight was flawless and The Pilot told us the CoPilot, Bonnie was going to get us in early, we were 40 minutes early, and that included a little maneuvering around some storm clouds. Didn't try the food and missed the entertainment."

Cons: "My family along with another family flew to Cancun for New Years vacation. The plane leaving from Denver was one hour late, boarding took forever and there was no communication regarding the issues. At least someone could have explained what was going on or why it was running late as to not leave us guessing. Upon our arrival in Cancun, my husband Never received his luggage. We filed a report and waited for it to arrive day after day. My husband spent HOURS of his vacation time trying to track down his luggage with little help. He spent HOURS on hold with Frontier which was also very frustrating to my family and our friends. His mother also made calls to Frontier with the same frustration and with no answers. My husband had medicine in his luggage along with all his clothes, many that were purchased for this trip as we don't travel often. We then had to spend lots of time and at least $800 purchasing new clothes--which was only a few t-shirts and a pair of shorts so he could enjoy the beach and our adventures. I could continue to complain, however, I refuse to waste anymore of my time with Frontier. Unfortunately this has been BY FAR the WORST Customer Service we have ever received. We are not ones to complain and have often given excellent customer service reviews. I am just thankful we made it there and back safely as that became a concern to us as well. I would highly recommend spending your money and time with another airline."

Cons: "We wish we would've known about them charging for carry on bags ahead of time. We would've consolidated. Instead, we were surprised at the gate when we were informed that EACH carry on would be $40 EACH way! That added an additional $160 to our trip and was more expensive than our checked bags ($30). Then upon boarding, we were seated in a row without a window, and the tray tables are TINY. They charge extra for EVERYTHING, even water. After flying Southwest exclusively, all of this came as a surprise to us. We also have TSA Pre-Check, but the woman that checked us in said "she didn't have time to look it up", she seemed clueless."

Passengers were not offered any complimentary beverages or snacks to compensate for the inconvenience. Limited clarity was given concerning steps needed to board the next flight. The seats are hard, uncomfortable and do not recline. This is not my first negative experience with frontier but it will be the last."

Cons: "Because the baggage was unloaded so slowly we almost missed our connection. The only reason we didn't was the next pilot had to land at another airport and then we waited for 2 extra hours. When we did arrive in Salt Lake we had to wait another 45 minutes to get our baggage so that we could go home."

Cons: "The seats are so crammed together, we felt like cattle more than humans. On both flights I lost feeling in my feet 3 hours into the flight. There is zero leg room and to be honest, the lack of leg room feels like a safety hazard. Not sure how Frontier can get away with this, because if there was a disaster and you needed to exit the plane quickly I'm not sure it would get done. It's disappointing how much an airline will nickel and dime its customers to death for things like checked baggage, choosing seats (so I could actually sit next to my wife) and even carry-ons. I think we've determined we'll never fly Frontier again, nor will we advocate for them in the future."

Cons: "Prices for beverages, food, and/or snacks are extremely HIGH! $3 USD for a 12 oz. can of pop OR WATER (16-20 oz) ? ! ! $7 USD for a 5-6 oz bottle of wine ?! The prices are ridiculous!! You can't get water to cry with or if you were on fire. Upon viewing your menu, there is a "bundle" for three or more items. This IS NOT a bargain. You decrease the price by a dollar is nothing. It appears to be overly enrichment and a rip-off. I know that you're in business to make a profit. But dayumm!! REALLY??! You all are certainly taking advantage of your customers. There may be either a continued decrease of purchases or none at all. I noticed that there weren't many purchases in relation to the number of passengers on board at the time. BTW, the price paid for the single bottle of wine ($7 USD) is what it costs for the 4-pack, if not less. A person can purchase 750 ml or 1/5 gallon for the same amount or less (i.e., $5 USD + tax). This is wrong and obliges passenger to make a grudging purchase out of necessity. Have you ever been thirsty before? Can't have water to take medications without spending large amount of money. You can't even get tap water or courtesy cup of water / ice. What type of mess is this? $50+ bag check fee is horrendous!! Your competitors are much cheaper. Please add more cushion and room to your seats. Had this flight been more than 90 mins., I'd be making a trip to the hospital instead of home."

Also, Spirit forces people to sign up for an account to get e-boarding pass. This was not the case with my AA flight the previous day. Tray tables were on a spring so anytime the person behind my lifted it, it snapped and startled me as I was trying to sleep. Crew did not make curtsy announcement asking parents of children to silence electronic devices so there was lots of kid music, beeping, and general noise that even my earbuds couldn't cancel out."

I asked for alternative arrangements. They said that they can give me a ticket for a flight 48 hours later. They also said that they do not partner with other airlines so they cannot help. I purchased a ticket with another airline and left a few hours later. The staff told me that this is an everyday occurrence. Policies are fine but the staff should provide alternate solutions."

Since Spirit is known for being late.. well. Another unsettling thing was on both flights absolutely everyone was very young. From gate to pilots. All in their 20s it seemed. Not sure if I am comfortable just with pilots on bigger planes being so young.."

And now I have to take THREE flights just to get from Florida to Colorado today. Over the course of 13 hours. No help with a hotel and very little consideration. If you don't figure out how to take better care of your fliers in these situations. Then they won't ever fly with you again. Costing you more than it would have costed to help with a hotel. But it was nice flying with spirit when I did! Thanks! Never again."

I spoke to the flight attendant about moving to another seat if it wasn't occupied. She was pleasant and arranged for me to move before take off."
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like was my seat didn't recline. Also, a group of about 20 spent the better part in the aisles moving from seat to seat, row to row. The flight attendant said something to them but they never really dispersed. The flight attendant then sat in her seat and read a book while the passengers continued to congregate in the exit row."

I understand the airfare rates are low but they make it up in luggage fees. My checked in bag was overweight and I was charged another $55.00 on top of the $50.00 fee. Cons: "The fact our flight was cancelled with no reason, none of the airline staff had any idea what to do with the passengers who needed new flights, we were sent to 3 different people before someone actually knew their job. Then we were given a voucher not for our bag to check which is an exorbitant hidden fee, but for us to book another flight on Spirit like that would EVER happen. The whole process was a joke and extremely time consuming."
Cons: "The employees were terrible, inflexible, uncouteous, and fake! I'm both Baltimore and Fort Lauderdale! It was my wife and mine birthday and it was the worst flight experience of my life. We will never fly with Spirit again. Maybe you guys want youre employees to have these characteristics, but if you dont, you should really review the employees and practices of your company. We were charged an additional 100 for a bag...on my birthday!!! Thx guys for being so bad that we can actuallybappreciate good airlines."
